Gunashekar had created a lot of hype for Bhanu Mehra during Allu Arjun’s Varudu. The movie failed miserably and so is the heroine who disappeared in to the horizon. With no Telugu offers in hand, Bhanu Mehra is keen to try her luck in Kollywood.

Speaking about her debut she says �While working on the film, I learnt what filmmaking was and how different life was in front of the camera.� She is currently starring in Navdeep’s �Anthaa Neemayalone�. Expressing her interest in Kollywood films she said �Of late, I have been trying to watch more Tamil films so that I gain more knowledge about the industry,� . On her role models she says  “Kamal is a man of discipline and one of the finest performers on screen. I like Surya and Siddharth a lot too �

Very little people know Harish Shankar before or after the debacle of Ravi Teja and Jyothika starrer Shock. Harish Shankar shot to fame with Gabbar Singh. Though the director gave a hit earlier with Mirapakay, it was Gabbar Singh that brought him star director image. He shot major portion of that blockbuster movie in Pollachi. Now, he heads to the same location for his current film with NTR – Ramayya Vastavayya. After wrapping up the schedule in Melukote near Mandya in Karnataka, the unit has now landed in Pollachi to shoot key sequences there.

As we know already the makers are planning to release the film on September 27, keeping the Dussehra festival in mind. Harish Shankar is the director of the film. Samantha will be seen as the heroine opposite NTR and Shruti Haasan will be making a crucial appearance as the second heroine. Thaman is composing the tunes. Dil Raju is the producer of the project.

Renu Desai who sizzled beside Pawan Kalyan in Badri and Johnny was married to the actor later. She totally stayed away from movies since then and gave birth to two kids Akhira and Aadhya. In between she had designed his costumes for some films too but after some time, she mostly confined herself to the family and stayed away from movies. But now she is all set to enter filmy world once again. But this time she is not going to act but fund movie.

She is all set to produce a Marathi movie. The film titled Mangalashtake Once More features Swapnil Joshi and Mukta Barve. The story of a film revolves around a husband and wife who are working towards saving their dying relationship. We wish her all the best in this endeavour!

Finally the suspense is over. The makers of Balayya’s next have finalized the heroines in the project. According to sources, Charmee who earlier paired up with Balayya in Veerabadhra is one of the heroine. Trisha who last paired up with NTR in Dhammu will be the other heroine. The first schedule of the movie is on in Dubai. The production unit is canning a massive chase in a desert there.

Balayya and Boyapati Seenu are working together for the second time. First they worked together in Simha, which was a roaring success. The female leads and the rest the crew of the film is yet to be finalized. This film is produced by Ram Achanta, Gopichand Achanta, Anil Sunkara and Sai Korrapati under 14 Reels Entertainment banner and Varahi Chalana Chitram banner combinedly.

Comedian Ali is a known face through out the state for his excellent filmy career stretching out for several years. The actor reportedly is considering Politics as his second occupation now. Since he is a famous person from a minority community, every party is keen to have him on board.  Congress and Telugu Desham Parties have upped the ante in a bid to woo Ali. Both are vying to field Ali as their candidate from Rajahmundry in the next general elections.

The news is that Ali is willing to join TDP and the Rajahmundry Assembly seat is linked to him.  However, Ali is a very close friend of Chiranjeevi and treated as one of the family member. Irrespective of his relation with Chiranjeevi, will Ali step towards TDP? Only time will tell.

After Dookudu and Businessman, Young Music Sensation Thaman had bagged one more chance to work with Super Star Mahesh. He is going to score music for the actor’s next Aagadu. Interestingly, it will be a milestone in Thaman’s career as it will be his 50th appearance as Music director.  The youngster is keen to make the album memorable to both him and Mahesh. Finally, here is a clarity regarding the actresses who are going to replace Ramya Krishna and Soundarya in the remake of Hello Brother. Tamannah will be playing the role originally played by  Ramya Krishna while Hansika will try to fit in to the shoes of Soundarya. It is already known that Naga Chaitanya will reprise the role of his father in the movie and will be playing the first dual role in his career, he regular shooting of the movie will begin in the first week of July. The movie will not be a faithful remake but will have some changes to suit the current trend and tastes of present audience.

Srinivas Reddy had directed Nagarjuna’s Damarukam last year. The actor was so impressed with his work and immediately requested him to direct his son. Naga Chaitanya is currently shooting for his part in Manam. The actor will be shuffling between the shootings of the two movies. Anup Rubens will be scoring tunes for this movie. Nayanatara who is starring in Kollywood ventures Raja Rani, Idu Katirvelanin is showing stars according to sources. Many feel that it is fine if one makes hay when the sun shines but they shouldn’t be too demanding.

Insiders reveal that Nayan is rejecting senior heroes offers the moment she hear their names. She is making it clear that she will star opposite only young heroes. Even then she is quoting such huge amount that many are getting scared to go near her.

Recently NRI organisers invited her for a ten minute program in US. She scared them asking 10 lakhs (a lakh per minute) excluding flight charges and then putting food and accomodation responsibility on them.
    

Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy appears to be keen on disciplining the film industry.

Hardly on the heels of reports that the government was planning to take back the 2 acres of land it gave to Darshakendra Raghavendra Rao, reports are doing the rounds that the government was planning action against Super Star Krishna also, on charges of violating the terms of conditions for allocation of land for the Padmalaya Studios.

Raghavendra Rao was allotted 2 acres of land in the posh Jubilee Hills area of the city, worth several crores of rupees, for constructing a sound recording and editing complex to help the film industry grow in Hyderabad. But violating the rules, he has constructed a Mall and a Mltiplex theatre. Recent reports said that the government was preparing to seize the land.

Now latest reports say that a similar action is being planned against Krishna also. The government has come to know that Super Star Krishna gave his studio on lease to G TV, which is against the rules. This problem arose even when Dr. Y S Rajasekhara Reddy was alive. But then, Krishna and Mahesh Babu met him and settled the issue. Now Kiran appears to be keen on making Krishna follow the rules strictly, as leasing out the studio for commercial purpose was against the terms of agreement.

It is learnt that a report already reached the Chief Minister and action might be initiated shortly.

Rajnikanth starrer Vikrama Simha will come to screens this Deepawali. The film has finished it shoot and now is in the post production stage. Vikrama Simha is facing delay as the graphic work is taking a lot of time. Vikrama Simha’ was initially slated to have a release for Diwali last year and the latest update on the flick suggests that the film would be hitting the screens for Diwali this year.

While Shobana is cast opposite Rajini for one role, Deepika Padukone is the love interest of younger version of Rajinikanth. The film is being directed by Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya. “Apart from pulsating stunt scenes, Rajini will be seen in mesmerizing dance sequences too,” said Soundarya. A.R.Rehman has composed the music. This is the first 3D film in India that has used the performance capture technology.

Apoorva Lakhia has recently finished the first rough cut of the film ‘Zanjeer’ (Toofan in Telugu) and he has brought this first edit to Hyderabad to show it to Charan and Chiranjeevi. It is with respect to this first screening that the director cheekily said that he felt nervous.  Apoorva Lakhia himself revealed this on Twitter, “Hyd yet again…. Second home or what. Showing charan the rough first cut of both films…..Chiru sir watching too. Should I be nervous?”.

The movie is the remake on 1973 blockbuster movie, Zanjeer. Priyanka Chopra is playing the female lead in the movie. Apoorva Lakhia is wielding the megaphone.The movie is being made in Telugu and Hindi and both the versions will have simultaneous release.

Stylish star Allu Arjun seem to be concentrating on conquering other frontiers as well. As everybody knows that Allu Arjun is pretty famous in Kerala and shortly called as ‘Mallu Arjun’. Now the Stylish star is gearing up to concentrate on Kollywood. In this process, he is in the edge of signing a bilingual film which will be directed by ‘Pandem Kodi’ director Linguswamy.

Linguswamy earlier impressed Mahesh with a script but that project did not materialize for various reasons. This Linguswamy and Allu Arjun project will be produced by Lagadapati Sridhar and Sirisha under Rama Lakshmi Cine creations banner. It is too early to reveal further details of the movie!

Milky beauty Tamannah is all set to pair up with Mahesh Babu in his upcoming movie, Aagadu. This is the first time she is pairing up with Mahesh. Also this is the first movie she signed since her Bollywood stint. The regular shooting of the movie will begin from September end after Mahesh completes the shooting of 1 – Nenokkadine. Currently, the script work is going on.

As Mahesh Babu is currently busy with the shooting of 1 – Nenokkadine, he wants to shift to the shooting of Aagadu after that only. Srinu Vaitla is currently in Ooty and he will be finishing the script work of the movie there. He had already completed some portions of the script work.
