A statue of legendary Telugu film star and former chief minister  of Andhra Pradesh Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, popularly known as NTR, will be installed in the Parliament Complex.. Speaking on the occasion union minister D. Purandhareshwari said “Installation of NTR statue has been in pending for many years, at last got the approval from Lok Sabha speaker and I personally thank her for this”. “Hopefully the event will be graced by all Nandamuri family members” she added.

There has been rift between Purandeshwari and other Nandamuri family members regarding this issue but to end with, things have been sorted out and lines have cleared. On the whole NTR deserves this gesture.
