Going in to detail, The movie is going to be a folklore movie and the makers have to import 10 dozen finest breed horses for the movie. Charan, as we all know is a big lover of horses is helping the makers with all his experience in horse trade. He is forwarding them the contacts he got internationally and is helping them choose good breeds from the lot.

NTR eagerly waiting for Naayak?

Wonder why? Here is the detail. Rajamouli and Vinayak are two favourite directors of NTR. Vinayak had given him the first break in the form of Aadi and Rajamouli had given the stardom with Simhadri. Rajamouli is committed for the next 2 years and NTR is now looking at Vinayak to deliver one more blockbuster. Vinayak had reportedly narrated a storyline to NTR and the actor seem to be very much impressed with it.

Vinayak is currently directing Naayak with Ram Charan and will begin a new movie which will have senior producer Bellamkonda Suresh’s son in the lead role. This combination will go on to sets after that. So, NTR is eagerly waiting for Naayak and other movie to complete.

Tale of two directors

Tollywood has witnessed two directors getting entangled with their film makers with both the issues going to respective producers and directors council. While Puri Jagannath, Industry’s ace director approached Directors’ Association complaining against DVV.Danayya for withholding his remuneration of Rs 4crs for Pawan Kalyan, Tamanna starrer ‘Cameraman Gangato Rambabu’ which he directed, Rebel film makers J.Pullarao and J.Bhagavan approached producers council against Kollywood director Raghava Lawrence by exceeding the decided budget of Rs 22.5crs of the film and finishing the project at Rs 45crs.

Both these raises pertinent questions whether film makers and directors understand each other perfectly. While Puri Jagannath is known for his perfect planning and finishing his project on or before time with out any delay, why should any producer withhold his remuneration which he is claiming for his hard work. At the same time one wonders what were Rebel film makers doing when Raghava Lawrence delaying their project thus increasing their cost of film making. Why did they not approach producers council prior to the release of the film. Did they wait till the fate of the film is decided.

This shows that both directors and producers should understand eachother for better cooperation so that these kind of unwanted and avoidable controversies will can be avoided.

Tollywood fans too selfish

Many say that stars and their films should be seen differently. Even they have their personal life and fans or for that matter anyone shouldn’t dictate or force their opinion on stars. However diehard fans sometimes force their opinion so much so on them that they will be forced to change their decisions. This was the reason why top heroes shy away from doing multi starrers as though according to script there will be some highs and lows in their roles, fans are not in a position to accept and this may lead to unnecessary street fights.

It seems tollywood fans seems to be too selfish compared to their other counterparts. While in Kollywood, Mollywood and Bollywood many top heroes shared screen presence and even their sons and daughters made their debut in the film industry this was not that case here. When sometime back Superstar Krishna planed for his daugher’s debut in films, fans held a huge protests against the move.He finally had to backtrack and totally disband the move. Fans are ok with their heroes sons making their debut but they are not in favor of heroes daughters acting in films. Even in Manchu Lakshmi’s case she is seen in negative or special roles and not as heroine. One has to wait and see what will be their reaction if she romances a top hero.

This is unlike Kollywood where Vijay Kumar’s daughter Preetha, Vijaychander daughter Sridevi, Kamal’s daughter Shruti Hasan, Arjun’s daughter Aishwarya, Sarath Kumar daughter Varalakshmi, Radha’s daughters Tulasi, Kartika made their debuts or on the verge of making their debuts.Many feel that fans should come out of narrow mindsets and allow their heroes and their kin to pursue what they want and love to do.

Cong to hang KCR

Till recently Cong and for that matter any other political party never dared to act against KCR and his party TRS. However after KCR’s month long stay in Delhi, equations seem to have changed. While KCR started boasting of signals from Sonia and Cong High Command, Cong stepped the steam and with Ghulam Nabi Azad and Home Minister Shinde cut all the signals saying formation of Telangana is extremely difficult. Though KCR inspite of all these negative signals maintained calm and did not stop talking about telananga announcement by Dasara, his party cadre did voice token protest.

While T MPs from Cong like Keshava Rao and others went hammer and tongs, APCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana who till recently questioned all what was wrong with telugu people having two states, changed tack and unearthed TRS signed 2004 agreement with Cong. The agreement signed by the then no 2 in TRS, Ale Narendra agreeing for second SRC on Telangana.

Many feel Cong High Command don’t want to get into trouble creating Telangana as it opens a Pandora box across the country. So it unearthed KCR and his party’s 2004 alliance agreement during which they agreed for second SRC. Many feel this was the reason why KCR is maintaining silence. Botsa took class to KK not to go hammer and tongs on Azad as he only said formation of telangana is quite difficult. Now it has to be seen whether second SRC will include only telangana or other regions of the country craving for separate states.

In the meantime while KCR is not opening his mouth on Cong high command, his party leaders are venting their ire locally.

AP Govt contradictory views on poverty

Now a days it has become popular for politicians to twist their tongues on numerous occasions and when they find themselves in the dock, they blame media saying saying media and journalists misinterpreted their words even though what ever they said would be recorded on camera. They will even go to the extent of claiming that the videos are doctored. AP Govt functioning is quite pathetic as one gets the feeling whether it exists at all or not. Ministers wont cooperate with CM and each one pull the Govt in different directions. Even when policy decisions are taken, they dont implement them.

Long time back in one film Parachuri Gopalakrishna asks a media person to print one press note if it happens according to that way orelse another press release if it happens in the opposite manner. It seems even AP Govt is following same strategy as it issued two statements on Poverty and people below poverty line.

The Govt proudly claimed that the state stood first in implementing 20 point formula to eradicate poverty. This means that poverty is on decrease in the state. However the same Govt says that more than 95% people received white cards as they belong to BPL. When media asked this discrepancy 20 point program Chairaman Tulasireddy said both the stats are different in their own way.

Parties’ political spy games

It is common for opposition parties to try and derive mileage from the mistakes committed by ruling party. AP state for long used to have only two parties which used to enjoy power alternately. However scenes have changed and now there are many powerful parties that are playing spoilsport with their dreams and aspirations. YSRCP emerged powerful player which started taking on both ruling Cong and opposition TDP singlehandedly. It started to be in the forefront in whatever may be the issue of public importance like fees protests, power dharnas and even padayatras.

However this led to new scenario as the moment YSRCP started announcing protest programs in 3-4 days time, TDP used to start protests on the same issue the very next day. This competition even in protests is something new which people of the state are witnessing. Insiders reveal that since TDP is getting information about the strategies and plans of YSRCP before hand through its spies, it started its protests and yatras before the party.

Sources say that even CBN started his padayatara after getting confirmed reports that YSRCP was planning for a grand padayatra soon. Now anyway Sharmila is countering him. YSRCP leaders say that Jagan planned for a massive yatra with the confidence that he would get a bail. However with TDP getting info about his yatra launched the similar program with its leader. Now sources say that with Sharmila entering fray, Babu may extend his yatra.

CBN-Kodandaram spring surprise

There is a popular saying in politics that there are no permanent friends and enemies in politics. This was proven right many times and now once again bitter rivals are teaming together to the surprise and shock of all. They are none other than TDP supremo Chandra Babu Naidu and TJAC President Kodandaram. This unison is more than 8th wonder in the world as TJAC led by Kodandaram along with KCR of TRSspit venom on Chandra Babu branding him as non entity in telangana region. They along with the people of telangana brandished him as traitor of telangana for his dual eye policy but g9iving benefit of doubt to Cong leaders who are following the same policy.

However now that with differences cropping up between KCR and Kodandaram as KCR maintaining stoic silence on telangana and moving closer to Congress and Kodandaram advocating rise in public protests, Kodandaram feels he needs some strong political backing. As Babu is on his padayatra and PM visiting Hyderabad today, he planned to conduct mass protests against PM showing the power of telangana. With KCR and TRS not interested in the protests, TDP which is for the protests is joining hands with TJAC. Already sources say both CBN and Kodandaram conversed over phone and now they will be in joint action.

Shilpa Shetty takes a 1 year break

Actress Shilpa Shetty who recently gave birth to a beautiful boy is not planning to return to acting for at least another year. She had decided to take full care of her son Viaan.

“Having a baby is a full time time job so there is no time for, you know, acting. I am doing endorsements because that happens at my time. I feel for acting, it will take me almost one year,” the 37-year-old said. Shilpa, married to businessman Raj Kundra, gave birth to Viaan on May 21.

Vaaradhi completes Europe schedule

Young Rebel Star Prabhas, Richa Gangopadhyay starrer Vaaradhi had completed its latest schedule in Europe, where a song is being canned on the lead stars along with 100 dancers from Europe. The song is going to be one of the highlights of the film.

The movie unit had returned to Hyderabad and the last schedule of the movie will begin very soon. Prabhas will join the sets of Rajamouli movie after wrapping up this movie.Vaaradhi is being directed by Koratala Shiva and produced by Vamshi Krishna Reddy and Pramod Uppalapati jointly on the banner of UV Creations banner. Naayak fights in Kolkata

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Naayak is currently being shot in Kolkata. A fight is being shot on Charan, Dev Gil Kishore Roya, Rajeev Kanakala and other support cast. The shooting is currently going on at Chhotelal Ghat near the Mullickghat flower market. This scheduled is expected to be wrapped up by October 22.

And for the first time, Charan will be seen in a dual role in this film, which also has Kajal Agarwal. Thaman is composing the music while Chota K Naidu handles cinematography. Akula Shiva pens story and dialogues. Nayak has tunes composed by SS Thaman.

Gundello Godari Audio Release date

The audio release event of Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna’s latest production Gundello Godari (Maranthen Mannithen in Tamil) will be take place on October 17 in Hyderabad. The film had completed its shooting activity and is currently busy in post production works. The movie will be released simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil versions and has cinematography by Palanikumaar.

Gundello Godari has Aadi, Lakshmi Manchu, Sundeep Kishan and Tapsee in the lead roles. Kumar Nagendra is wielding the megaphone for the film, which is being made under Manchu Entertainments banner. The film is set in the backdrop of 1986 Godavari floods, and to reflect such an ambience, the makers have erected an eco-friendly set. Maestro Ilayaraja is scoring the music.

Samantha alongside NTR

After her brief stint with NTR in Brindavanam, Sexy Siren Samantha is all set to pair up with NTR in his new movie directed by Harish Shankar. The movie will have its muhurath on October 18th and the regular shooting of the movie will begin in November.

The movie is touted to be an out and out commercial entertainer.The yet-to-be-titled movie is to be produced by Dil Raju on his Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. Dl.Ravindra Reddy during his speech, did not even mention CM or his name but just concluded by mentioning Azad’s name. While CM Kiran who spoke later though DL.Ravindra Reddy did not mention his name, in his speech after Azad’s name, referred to him, saying his colleague DL. Cong leaders and onlookers are saying that had DL practiced minimum decorum in public irrespective of his differences with CM, it would have been honorable.

It has to be seen where their rivalry will lead to and how it will effect the functioning of the respective department and implementation of Govt schemes.

144 sec in Secretariat

144 Section will be Imposed by police during emergencies so that it bars people mobolising mobs to go on protests increasing the tensions.According to the section, four or more people should be seen in a group. For more than two months there was no cabinet meeting held in Secretariat by the Govt. When curious onlookers and media tried to find out by enquiring some leaders, one wily leader humorously remarked that for a cabinet meet more than 30 people will come. But how can it be possible when 144 section is under force at Secretariat.

This shows how callously Govt and its ministers are considering the burning problems of people. Even when cabinet meet is held, ministers fight between themselves or try to target CM without allowing him to function. Some don’t even attend the meet as a protest against CM. When media asked during olden days kings used to have a big bell outside their fort so that whenever poor and needy finds the necessity they can ring the bell at any time. Rulers used to come out to solve the problems any time where ever they were.

For this the leaders said when media itself is reporting that Govt is not having any work why to trouble people from other places making them come all the way from their villages and get disappointed when their work is not completed by the inefficient govt. They went on to add that all these steps were taken for the benefit of the people but rued that no one understands the value of their steps.

Heroes eying Overseas Heights

Tollywood silver screen is getting ready for some special effects and double impacts in the form of Dasara dhamakas and Diwali delights along with Sankranthi sweets. This is also showing a new picture on tollywood silver screen. Most of the top tollywood heroes are planning to scale overseas heights conquering the markets.

One will be surprised to know that overseas markets demand and competition is equivalent to that of prestigious Nizam rights. Till recently only Bollywood heroes used to talk about overseas markets but now with the entry of genex heroes Tollywood scenario changes.

Now Nagarjuna, Pawan Kalyan are targeting Dasara while Mahesh and Venkatesh together are eying Xmas eve while Ramcharan, Prabhas, NTR, Badshah are fixing next year targets. So fans are in for a full treat of films starting from Damarukam, CGR, SVSC, Nayak, Varadhi, Badshah, Shadow.

All the heroes have single point agenda to rake in as much money as possible at box office in the first ten days in record number of theatres. Overseas viewers are deciding to watch the films based on reviews that appear online and so producer is depending on overseas market to sell his hero. That was the reason why one or two overseas distributors now increased to more than ten.

There are more than 75 lakhs telugu people in overseas and most of the tollywood films follow bollywood films. The market is revolving around NTR,Ramcharan, Pawankalyan, Mahesh Babu, Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Siddharth. Distribution rights are sold for aroundRs1-Rs5crs for a top star’s film while small budget films quote around Rs 10lakhs. Magadheera was released in 1500 theatres across 15 countries while Businessman was released in 2000 theatres. Even Eega was released in same number of theatres.

Overseas distributors grade heroes according to their craze and as such Mahesh Babu and Pawan Kalyan are in A++, while directors Sekhar Kammula and Trivikram Srinivas got similar grading. Nagarjuna, NTR, Dil Raju, Ram Charan got A rating while Allu Arjun and Prabhas got A -. Gradings are arrived after analysing 10days overseas collections. 10days overseas collections is equivalent to 100days in India.

TRS searching for answers

TRS and its chief KCR which used to be the tiger of Telananga and converted the entire region as its impregnable fortress is now suddenly left searching for answers. This was its own doing rather than the talent and strength of its opponents who were subdued for long. Everything happened with its chief KCR boasting of signals from Union Govt and Cong High Command especially Sonia Gandhi.

KCR gave an impression that before the grand telangana march at necklace road, a delightful announcement on Telangana State would come from Center. However even after KCR spending more than a month in Delhi, nothing happened and to the top of it, negative statements started coming from Union Govt. Home Minister Sushil Kumar Shinde and antoehr minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said in unequivocal terms that Telananga is not possible.

This left TRS and KCR searching for answers as entire telangaites and NGOs started blasting them with even other political parties that used to be scared of TRS joining the group. Now TRS changed track and started saying it never set any deadlines on telangana and their talks are not with Cong but with Centre. But it couldn’t respond to questions that when the talks with Cong are in prelim stages how come their chief talk of favorable signals on telangana.

T-Activists slam Nandi Awards

AP Govt couple of days back announced Nandi Awards and some of the awards not only raised eye brows of movie lovers but also derived scathing criticism from telangana activists and dalit organisations. The Jury declared N.Shankar who directed ‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ as the best director and even awarded the film as the best film in National Integration category. This made one wonder howcome a film that was made to demand bifurcation of state can be given an award for the best film for national integration. Shankar speaking to media said “I am happy that even Govt recognized my efforts.The film Jai Bolo Telangana moved not only commoners but also educated lot. It highlighted the fact that some few investers for their vested interests are dividing wedge between people.I got recognition earlier also but I am more happy with thi snandi. This Nandi is dedicated to telangana people and telangana warriors who lost their lives. I thank the jury for understanding the creativity and feelings of telangana people”

The jury even presented best singer award to peoples singer Gaddar for his song ‘Podustunna Poddumeeda Nadustunna Kaalama’ in the film Jai Bolo Telangana. The moment this news came various Dalit Organisations grew furious and questioned how come Govt follow double standards slapping cases on Gaddar for Telangana march on Oct 30th and at the same time give awards to him. They demanded if Govt is honest they should arrest those who attacked Gaddar during 1997. They said Govt gave award to the telangana song which highlighted the tribulations of telangana people, but they did not understand people’s problems.

One have to wait for the response from the Govt.

Sonia Son in Law-Punching Bag for AP Parties

Being related to some one most powerful not only politically but also across the world who can influence any decision will have its advantages and disadvantages. Now All powerful Sonia Gandhi, UPA Chairperson, Son in Law Robert Wadhra is in neck deep scams and is trying to wriggle out of it. Entire Union Govt and its cabinet of ministers in the first of its kind, started batting for non political person, just because he happens to be Sonia’s on in law.

Robert Wadra’s scams did not stop there as he has become even opposition parties in Andhra Pradesh’s favorite punching bag. While TDP president Chandra Babu already started demanding thorough enquiry on Wadra, even smaller parties like TRS, BJP, CPI and others launched scatching attack on him.

In the midst of all this pressure is mounting on YS.Vijayamma of YSRCP not to miss the opportunity and show the power of Cuddapah and YSR family. They are advocating to file PIL against Wadra in SC so that Sonia could be taught a fitting lesson. They are of the opinion that since Sonia insulted YSR family and sent Jagan to jail on quid pro quo charges, her son in law’s case in DLF amounts to even more quid pro quo decisions and should not be left in any manner.

They say any delay in going hammer and tongs on Wadra will give an opportunity for opponents to take the party alleging understanding between them and Cong. Vijayamma however did not take any direct questions on Robert Wadra from media and said she will discuss the issue with Jagan and take on final decision.
