Will Cong fooling KCR work?

KCR who has been hoping hope against hope that Cong will buckle under the T-Pressure he created with the help of his colleagues Cong MPs from Telananga was once again taken for a ride for by Cong High Command and Sonia Gandhi who fooled him to the core by not coming with road map for the formation of separate state of Telangana.

It came as severe jolt for KCR who camped in Delhi for more than 20 days totally brining down his telangana temper and rethoric even when preparations are in full swing for the proposed telangana protest march on 30th. When KCR expected that after the CWC meet, Cong would come with some sort of announcement, Vayalar Ravi who came after the meet stunned all including KCR asking where is telangana and what it means? He said the core committee did not find time to discuss silly issue such as telangana thus dashing the hopes of KCR and his grand merger plans.

If Cong thinks that by engaging KCR in talks calling him down to Delhi so that cutting his contacts with Hyd T march then it succeeded in its mission to the full extent. But it has to be seen whether disengaging KCR from Kodandaram and his TJAC will yield the results and calm down tempers in the run up for the march. It is a known fact that had KCR been in Hyd during these days he would have heightened the tempers in the region which is not the case now.

It has to be how ever seen whether Cong fooling of KCR will work for the party in the longer run.

Union Govt becoming Telangana Traitor

Union Govt which has to take care of the aspirations of people of each and every part of the country is fast becoming the traitor of telangana. When everything was going smoothly, the then Union Home Minister Chidambaram issued a statement on the formation of separate state of Telangana couple of years back at the mid night. What ever may be the consequences and reasons behind the statement the Govt can not go back on its own policy decision made in full public gaze.

When entire telangana region erupted with jubilation, in a week stime Chidambaram poured cold water on their dreams and aspirations by going back on previous decision. From then on telangana continued to boil with peace going to toss in entire state of AP. But center is not bothered about the damage its indecisiveness is causing on brand Hyderabad internationally and even now when international summit is on in four days time, the proposed protest march will definitely dent the image which will have severe impact on said future investments.

Union Govt by delaying its decision and taking people of telangana for a ride is fast becoming the Telangana Traitor in the eyes of the people which is not at all good for the country.

CBI’s double standards to the fore

CBI officials may say that they are working independently and don’t have any pressure from any of their higher authorities or their political bosses. However hard they may try to convince, people will not believe them because they have earned such notorious reputation it will be hard for them to come out of it so easily. This is proven time and again when they conveniently try to bail out tainted people without providing key and crucial information like in Quottrochi bail in bofors case or in disproportionate assets cases on Mayawathi, Mulayalam Singh and others.

Many feel the same is happening in Jagan’s case and the 26 GOs issued by the then YSR Govt. CBI sent Minister Mopidevi Venkataramana packing to chanchalguda jail in 26 Gos case though he claimed innocence saying the decision is not in his individual capacity but entire cabinet is responsible. However yesterday CBI did not follow the same rule in case of Dharmana to whom it served notices regarding same Gos. Dharmana Prasada Rao argued in the same manner as that of Mopidevi but to everyone’s shock CBI court granted bail with in seconds and CBI lawyers did not even oppose it.

This made Mopidevi supporters furious and they allege discrimination as their leader hails from BC community. Wonder what CBI and Cong bosses got to say.

Rebel Censor Report

Young Rebel Star Prabhas’ Rebel was screened to the Regional Censor Board in Hyderabad on Monday. The censor work had began in the morning and went on till night. The makers and the Board members were reportedly in a tangle regarding the cuts. While they tried their level best for U/A, the board had decided up on A certificate for the movie. The movie is reportedly 2 Hours 50 minutes long and has Krishnam Raju playing the role of a mafia don.

Choreographer turned director Raghava Lawrence is directing the film and Bhagawan and Pulla Rao are jointly producing the film. Lawrence himself is composing the music for the film after the music director Thaman walked out of the project.

The song is currently the talk of the Tollywood and is said to be the highlights in the movie. Devi Sri Prasad is on a roll this year with all his albums becoming musical hits.

Siva Thandavam Release postponed

According to the rules of Telugu film chamber, dubbing movies are charged 30% tax. Hence it became a norm for producers cheating the chamber by declaring dubbing movies as bilinguals. C.Kalyan, the local producer of Vikram’s Shiva Thandavam has done the same. However, a couple of producers challenged the producer C Kalyan’s claim and the release will be postponed till the issue is cleared. So, it might take another week to release in Telugu. However, the Tamil version, Thandavam, is hitting the screens on September 28th.

Anushka is playing the female lead. Jagapathi Babu, Amy Jackson and Lakshmi Rai are playing pivotal roles in ‘Siva Thandavam’. Vikram is playing a secret agent who is blind guy and uses a technique called Echolocation to sense the objects. Audio of the Tamil version has been already released and gathered positive reviews. GV Prakash is the music director and AL Vijay is the director.

Rebel’s super release in Nizam

Young Rebel Star Prabhas’ Rebel is on its way to the biggest release ever in Nizam. The movie is so far confirmed in 206 theaters in the region. Out of which 73 are in the city and and remaining 133 are from districts. The highest in the region so far is 291 theatres for Mahesh Babu’s Business Man. Out of which, 96 theatres are in Hyderabad city.

The combination of Prabhas, Lawerence and Tamannah had drawn high expectations from the masses. Dil Raju, the Nizam distributor of the movie is trying his level best to ensure the movie gets biggest release in the region.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, who is making a cameo in Gauri Shinde’s debut directorial ” English Vinglish” which marks the comeback of screen diva Sridevi after a gap of fifteen years had recently watched a special screening of the movie and is reportedly in tears watching the movie

“A viewing of ‘English Vinglish’ directed by Gauri Shinde, wife of R Balki tonight, leaves me with collective lumps in the throat and a surge of flushed eyes near the tear ducts.

“And it is not all the emotion of a particular moment that puts one in such state. It is the uncontrollable effect of appreciation that prevents one from expressing any at all…,” Bachchan, 69, wrote on his blog.

The film is about a middle class housewife who enrols for an English speaking course in order to please her husband and family.

Why young and newcomers failing on silver screen?

Tollywood is witness to many young and talented new comers making their debut in many small budget films but most of them fail to impress movie lovers in totality. This is a fact not only with new comers who don’t have any film background but also with debutants who have sufficient support in the film industry. When Sekhar Kammula introduced many faces in his superhit ‘Happy Days’ except for Tamanna no one caught the imagination of others from their next films. Similar is the case of young heroes like Tarak, Nitin, Varun Sandesh, Nikhil and many more. Till recently Nitin created a record of sorts with a string of 13 flops and only ‘Ishq’ changed his fortunes a bit. MS.Raju’s son Sumanth Ashwin made his debut with ‘Tooneega Tooneega’ but failed to impress anyone.

Many are left to wonder what was wrong with these youngsters who come to films after undergoing intense training in film schools unlike in olden days. Film critics say that instead of following their own style of acting and performing accordingly, they try to follow their favorite heroes to create an impact on movie lovers forgetting the fact that if they want to watch their favorite heroes, movie lovers prefer to watch originals and not their carbon copies or clones.

They even highlight the point that though they have undertaken training in film schools they lack basic skills in voice modulation and dialogue delivery. Unless they improve upon these skills it would be difficult to shine in the industry making an impact.

RGV out to scare on silver screen

He is even turning beautiful Manisha Koirala who mesmerized all in ‘Bombay’ as Saira Banu into Bhoot in ‘Bhoot Returns’. He is even passing comments that she is best suited for the role. This itself shows his passion for horror flicks. If given a chance one feel that he will change Atiloka Sundari Sridevi into a scarry ghost to scare people.

Smile that irks Dharmana

Dharmana Prasada Rao who once was considered as CM candidate after YSR’s death is now in deep trouble over the GOs he passed in his capacity as minister during the regime of YSR. Dharmana is arguing CBIs contention that it was wrong on its part to hold him responsible for collective decisions of the Cabinet of CM, but many political observers feel that CBI court may soon send him packing to chanchalguda jail. It already sent notices and Dharmana appeared before CBI special court today.

At the same time YSR CP President who is spending his time in jail also came for the hearing of his case along with others involved and greeted Dharmana sporting a mischievous smile that conveyed to Dharmana and many others who were behind all this tangle that found him in jail. Surely Jagan’s smile would have irked

Dharmana as he is already tensed with his fate and political future handing in balance.

It has to be seen how Dharmana find himself out of the case as if he and Govt counters CBI argument saying there was no case in CBI stand then Jagan will be proven innocent and if not they will be sent to jail. In the meantime Jagan’s smile is sending welcome signals from Chanchalguda jail to ministers who all involved in 26 GOs

KCR scared of T March

Many are wondering what is KCR doing when people of telangana along with all NGOs and other parties are going ahead for its protest war seeking formation of Telangana on 30th of this month. While Prof Kodandaram is leading TJAC which is in the forefront mobilizing forces to show the strength of telangana people during the march, other organizations are doing their best to liven the spirits of the people.

Govt is at its wits end as to how to manage the situation as the march follows the day after Ganesh idol immersion which would continue till afternoon on the march day and the next day follows with international summit on Bio diversity. Anything untowards will bring down the image of brand Hyderabad and the whole state of Andhra Pradesh as a whole.

In the midst of all this many are left to look at KCR with suspicion as he is spending his time in Delhi, when the state is heated up with T protests. KCR despite of no positive signals from Cong High Command and Sonia Gandhi is still sitting in Delhi showing little concern over the all important march. Many feel that he is running scared of the march as Cong is impressing upon him to cool down the tempers and he is taking about his party’s merger plans as he is worried about the growing popularity of YSRCP in telangana.

KCR is expecting some kind of announcement for Telangana based on which he can merge his party in Cong. If in the current situation he is present in Hyd, then he would be forced to utter some vitriolic statements that damage the relationship between him and Sonia.

T-reps raise ‘Seemandhra Traitors’ bogey

Time for telangana march is ticking on and war of words are already in full swing. Whenever there is some agitation is on in telangana for the formation of separate state, representatives from the region cutting across party lines spit venom on ‘seemandhra people’ in their competition to score marks and credit in the hearts of people of telangana.

Already TRS MLAs and MPs are in full swing and Cong are joining them with Madhu Yashki raising the retheoric saying seemandhra people don’t have any right to stay in telangana region. Many once again get the feeling that telangana representatives by raising seemandhra traitors bogey are increasing passions in people and this may lead to large scale violence as witnessed earlier.

Million march on tankbund led to demolition of statues of great leaders and even in the lead up to the march there were demolitions of some more statues. The purpose of protesters on choosing tankbund as venue leads to suspicion that they are planning to create law and order problem and there may be another violence if police and law enforcing authorities are not taking them seriously.

Organisers may say they will carry out protests in peaceful manner but one can not go by their words all the time.

Bible Test for Jagan

Late CM YS.Rajasekhara Reddy’s son YS.Jagan became so strong with in no time that now all the political parties are trying to findout new methods and means by which he can be cut down to size. They are evolving strategies to bring him down but till now nothing worked in their favor. Cong High Command and the ruling govt in AP thought that people will loath him if his father YSR is defamed but it did not happen. It boomeranged on them as his popularity grew in leaps and bounds and when they thought that he could be cornered in Chanchalguda jail, turn of political events are making them prostrate before him.

Now TDP senior leaders Kottakota Dayakara Reddy and Varla Ramayya are coming up with new plans so that Jagan can be baffled. They feel that Jagan should be hit by sentiment and are asking Jagan to undergo bible test. They question what Jagan was doing in Delhi during 17th -19th of April and what secret pact Vijayamma arrived with PM and Sonia Gandhi during presidential elections. They say if in their heart of hearts Vijayamma and Jagan feel that they haven’t committed any crime and are honest why don’t they take oath and say the same on their holy scripture ‘BIBLE’. They are even asking what would Brother Anil would say on the whole episode.

It has to be seen what would be response of YSRCP and Vijayamma’s response to the challenge of TDP leaders and whether Vijayamma and Jagan will take Bible Test and pass with distinction.

Sridevi’s double standards

‘Atiloka Sundari’ of millions of telugu people Sridevi who became dream gal of Bollywood seems to be following double standards vis a vis her loving daughter Jahnavi. While she is making her comeback to tinsel town with ‘English Vinglish’ even at this age she is stalling the entry of her daughter Jahnavi into films. While some feel that she is doubly right in deciding her daughter’s career saying that she is too young for her age to decide many feel that she is practicing double standards.

It is a known fact that Sridevi started her career in film industry at the age of 4yrs as a child artist and by 13 or 14yrs she made her debut as heroine in Balachandar’s film ’Moondru Muduchu’. From then on there is no stopping Sri and she became the ‘Lady Superstar’ on Indian cinema. Now she is forgetting these facts and imposing herself on her daughter.

Jahnavi was supposed to act in the remake of Chiranjeevi, Sridevi’s superhit film ‘Jagadeka Veerudu Atiloka Sundari’ which even released in hindi as ‘Admi aur Apsara’. However she put her foot down when film makers planned to cast her opposite Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s son Ram Charan Teja.

Sri says “It is too early for her to come in films. At various events she comes with me as a daughter, as a friend, as I like to take her along. It does not mean all this (movie debut).”. She goes on to add “She (Jhanvi) is studying right now, she is doing well. I don’t want to distract her. I would be definitely the last person to want her to get in the industry at this age.”. Let us see what Sridevi got to say about her double standards.

Director Sreenu Vaitla who delivered a block buster Dookudu last year is celebrating his 40th birthday today.He is currently busy working on his stylish action-entertainer, Baadshah, starring Jr NTR and Kajal Aggarwal. The movie is currently being shot in Hyderabad. The teaser of the movie will be released today to coincide with the director’s birthday.

On Sunday, a get together of Dookudu unit and distributors was held in Hyderabad and distributed shields to the Dookudu unit to celebrate one year of the movie’s release.Vaitla made his debut with Nee Kosam in 1999 and shot to fame with his second film Anandam. Since then there is no looking back with super hits like Venky, Dhee, Dubai Seenu and Ready. The director went on to win the Best Director Filmfare Award for Dookudu.
