TRS taking time to strike back

Never since its inception, TRS faced such flak from political parties, media and public. The party always used to be at the top and used to rip apart its opponents and never gave any chance for them to comment on them. However with KCR returning empty handed after staying in Delhi for more than a month even skipping high profile telangana march organized by TJAC, they are found struggling for answers to give explanations.

TRS which till now has been stating that there would be announcement on telangana and KCR will merge the party with Cong is now being branded as traitor the name with which it used to accuse its rivals and opponent parties. KCR returned only yesterday and now he along with his party is in secret meetings.

Known for his aggressive stand and vitriolic statements one can not expect him to take anything lying down. Surely all this silence will lead to tsunami like thunder storm and people pray that it wont tarnish the brand image of Hyderabad. TRS’ bandhs or any agitations will be quite strong and KCR may give call for his party and cadre to show its strength and prove a point or two to its rivals so that they will be silenced forever.

Renuka fires T-MPs

Fire brand Cong leader Renuka Chowdhary from Khamam this time spit venom on her party’s telangana MPs who are blasting CM Kiran Kumar Reddy for his statements on Telangana and more importantly his handling of T-March. They said it was CM who is responsible for the violence that erupted during the march. They said CM insulted by blocking all ways of communication so that no one could attend the march. MPs took on CM branding him as impotent and even terming him as telangana traitor for his statement that

Telangana can not be formed to serve political interests of all and sundry.

However Renuka Chowdhary and Jagga Reddy decided to tear upon the T MPs. They dared to utter all these words in front of Cong High Command rather than in front of local media. The two questioned if they are really fighting for telangana they should not shout in local streets but show their strength if they have any in front of Sonia Gandhi and Cong high command.

Renukha Chowdhary went a step ahead and said if T MPs don’t stop she will expose them and their vested interest in front of media. Jagga Reddy said he will ask high command to throw out MPs like Ponnam Prabhakar and Madhu Yashki for encouraging violence in Hyderabad. They wondered what business T MPs got in the state when they were asked to represent peoples problems in Delhi.

CBN’s health yatra?

Now a days what ever Chandra Babu does or says he is becoming laughing stock with his rival parties targeting him making fun of Babu. While some say that it is good for his health as walking is always good for health and took potshots at him saying that he might have planned the yatra on advice of his doctors.

Some of his rivals chose to rip him apart saying it is like fox trying to have strips of a tiger after watching it. Eventhough CBN is not replying barrel of funny comments are not stopping from his rivals. Some said that he should change the name of his yatra from ‘Vasutunna..meekosam’ to ‘Naa Kosam Vastunna’ etc.

They commented that CBN lost moral responsibility to conduct yatras as people will not believe him any more after getting popular as ‘two tongued babu’ and ‘double eyed Naidu’. However Babu is undeterred and is very much buoyed with the response he is getting in the yatra.

He is walking with farmers and is interacting with locals to get to know about their problems. It has to be seen whether all those who came to watch Babu will bring him back to power.

YSRCP out to wipe out Cong

Telangana state formation and T-March is the most covered news in media these days but YSRCP is silently on its mission to wipe out Cong following Jagan’s orders from Chanchalguda jail. Had he been out Jagan could have by this time completed most of the work but his lieutenants are no way inferior to him. According to insiders the party is currently concentrating on Hyderabad which is of strategic importance to any party.

Already a corporater from Cong party Adam Vijay Kumar jointed YSRCP and became Greater Hyderabad’s party president. More recently Cong corporators Suryanarayana, Harivardhan Reddy and Dhanpalreddy joined YSRCP.Cong High command unable to digest this outflow of corporators from its party to YSRCP, took steps and tried to assuage their feelings. However it can not stop the outflow.More recently a woman corporator decided to join TRS.

With Cong leaders getting signals that assembly elections may come any moment due to the present situation in state and center are making their own arrangements for their political future. With predictions pointing to YSRCP’s strong wave all are looking at it as an alternative. A Minister from Hyderabad is analyzing the situation in his constituency and his victory chances in another constituency. Realising that most of his colleagues, party workers and other ministers are already in YSRCP from the same constituency, he is looking for relocation. So he is getting in touch with Jagan making his friends, relatives to meet him in hail. But he feels since MIM is strong in that area, even if he joins YSRCP he may not be in position to win.

But with reports coming from MIM that even they wont be siding with Cong, he is now happy and is eager to join YSRCP. So writing is on wall for Cong.

Rebel’s love for Rajamouli

Young Rebel Star Prabhas who gave sensational stunts treat to spellbound masses as ‘Rebel’ under Raghava Lawrence revealed his love for Tollywood Jakkana Rajamouli. His love and fascination for the top director is so much that he is even willing to postpone his marriage for Rajamouli’s sake. Fans already are getting disappointed that Prabhas’ marriage got delayed due to Lawrence delaying his project Rebel and now with Prabhas committing himself for Rajamouli’s project it will get delayed for another year.

Revealing his thoughts Prabhas said “Look I can either get married or do Rajamouli’s film. I cannot do both at the same time. So, I had to choose between my wedding and the movie… And I picked the movie,”.. It is well known that Prabhas attained stardom with Rajamouli’s mass entertainer Chatrapati and he doesnt want to miss the opportunity to work again with him. He feels it is a honor to work under his direction.

Revealing more about Rajamouli’s film he said “We will start shooting from December. It is going to be a racy mass entertainer. It has everything from action, romance, and emotion. Most importantly, we have a great script. We will share more details soon. I’m really looking forward to working with Rajamouli again, after Chatrapathi,”.

Can Makki bite Barfi

When Rajamouli’s Eega was announced as one of the shortlists for finalisation of nominations to represent India at Oscars, entire Tollywood jumped in joy. However all that evaporated with in a day or two and Anurag Basu’s Barfi blocked its flight and booked its ticket to Oscars. But all is not lost for ‘Eega’ which is entering Bollywood as ‘Makki’.

It is well equipped this time beautified by star couple Ajay Devgn and Kajol’s voices of Dad and Mom. The film is all set to release on a grand scale on Oct 12th and Reliance Entertainment which is presenting the film is not leaving anything to chance. Samantha and Nani are starring in the film which has Kannada super star Sudeep as villain. Makki will be seen doing some mesmerising dance movements of Sharukh, Hrithik and others.

With already Anurag Basu’s ‘Barfi’ starring Ileana, Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor out to rake in Rs 100 crs it requires a supersonic flight by Makki to go and sting Barfi at its own heights. Though it may be impossible, Rajamouli can surely create a sensation for sure as Makki has all the graphic attraction that can delight movie lovers and spellbound kids completely.

RGV following Ravi Babu ?

Maveric movie maker Ram Gopal Varma who will never listen to any one and who hates following others seems to be changing his trend this time. Ramu received severe criticism for his unconventional methodology and bizarre camera angles which many termed as rouge techniques in his films like ‘Dongala Mutha’ and ‘Department’. In ‘Dongala Mutha’ he fixed camera to Charmi and was more interested in capturing her sexy sensuous movements rather than concentrate on script and storyline. His madness with camera technology reached so high that in ‘Department’ people were tortured with unforeseen and bizarre camera angles. This led to fight even with top hero Sanjay Dutt who vowed not to work with him again.

In the mean time creative director Ravi Babu came with a clean horror/thriller film ‘Avunu’ starring Poorna and Harshvardhan and with neat camera angles he worked wonders at box office. It seems RGV seems to be following Ravi Babu as he promised that his camera will be steady for his upcoming film ‘Bhoot-2’ which is releasing in telugu as ‘Buchi’.

‘Boochi’ is the Telugu version of the sequel to his 2003 horror film ‘Bhooth’. The movie has J.D.Chakravarthy, Manisha Koirala and Madhu Shalini in key roles and it will be shown in 3D format.Bhooth did reasonably well when it released many years back, so Ramu is hoping that this 3D sequel earns him success. Let us see what change movie lovers will find in RGV and his camera angles.

Will Chaitu feel for lack of ‘Gauravam’

Nava Yuva Samrat Naga Chaitanya walked out of Radha Mohan’s crazy bilingual project ‘Gauravam’ after having second thoughts about the film. He felt that since he is working hard for a mass image, doing a film with class director like Radha Mohan will not help him in the long run.

Chaitu his hellbent on having mass image as he feels that only heroes with mass image can survive in the long run. Though he scored hits as lover boy with films like ‘ye Maya Chesave’, ‘100% Love’ is in no mood to listen. Hew is after mass image even after his high profile mass oriented films like ‘Bezawada’ and ‘Dada’ bombed miserably at box office. He is currently testing his luck with ‘Auto Nagar Surya’ and ‘Bhale Tammudu’.

Many are wondering whether Chaitu will ever feel for his lack of Gauravam in the long run. Allu Sirish is making his debut with Gauravam after Chaitu walked out of the project. Yami Gautam is starring in the film produced by Prakash Raj on Duet Movies banner. The film is touted to be a “family-entertainer”. Radha Mohan attracted all with films like Nagarjuna’s Gaganam and ‘Abhiyum Nanum’. Only time will tell about the reaction of Chaitu on gauravam.

Byreddy taking onTGV as Rayalaseema Rakshak?

While entire focus is on Chandra Babu’s much publicized 117day long pada yatra covering entire state, TDP leader Byreddy Rajasekhar Reddy kickstarted his own yaatra yesterday to show the self esteem of Rayalaseema region in the name of ‘Rayalaseema Atma Gowrava Yatra’. Whenever telananga movement reaches its peak leaders from rayalaseema region will be up in arms demanding separate state for the region in case of formation of telanangana. They say that they can not co exist with coastal Andhra people.

Byreddy the moment CBN sent a letter to PM Manmohan seeking an all party meet on Telangana, lashed out at him saying he has nothing to do with him and started going on his yatra. Even before that Byreddy planned to go on yatra. One wonder whether he has his own compulsions to do so. He is keen on fighting for his survival and is taking on Cong strong man from the region TG.Venkatesh. Byreddy attacked Babu for becoming Rayalaseema traitor even though hailing from the same region.

He took on people from coastal Andhra alleging that they were hellbent on robbing the natural resources of the region rather than recognizing the sacrifices made by the people of the region. He lashed out that right from british rule to CM Kiran’s rule everyone robbed rayalaseema and he wants separate state for the region.

CM Kiran pours cold water on KCR

While KCR and his TRS team is hoping hope against hope that Central Govt will come with some positive statement on Telangana after all the happenings in Delhi for the past one month, CM Kiran much to the surprise of all, ruled out Telananga formation stating division of state for political gains is not possible. This stunned all as Kiran can not dare to issue such statements with out the approval from high command. While national leaders from the party started giving subtle covert and overt signals on Telananga that the decision on it won’t be that easy, and with even Sonia Gandhi stating Telangana is not discussed in any of her meetings, Kiran sending this strong statement shows hardening of Cong stand vis a vis KCR and his party TRS.

This put paid to the hopes of KCR who was looking for some kind of face saving formula as he skipped telangana march sitting in Delhi. Already many are drawing daggers out with Vimalakka being in the fore front spitting venom on him saying lobbying and talks will not fetch telangana. Now it has to be seen how KCR will react to Kiran’s statements. Many are feeling this is jut another drama enacted by Cong and TRS and their love hate relationship continues till 2014.

CBN evades payment?

TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu who is claiming honesty and innocence once again finds himself in a payment controversy. It will surely have impact on his 117 day padayatra which he started off in style yesterday. According to information Chandra Babu did not settle payment for the land he purchased for TDP party office in Srikakulam district for Rs 17.04 lakhs. Land owner’s repeated requests to TDP local leaders to settle his payment did not get him the desired results. So he decided to write a letter to Chandra Babu himself asking him for payment of dues worth Rs 17.04 lakhs with interest.

Controversy over non payment of the land came out in open last Sunday when party leaders decided to start party office at the same place when Babu comes to the place during his padayatra. The issue cropped up when party members passed a resolution to build new office for Rs 15 lakhs. Land owner Chiranjeevulu is worried that if the leaders starts party office with out paying the dues, who will pay the amount for the past 10yrs. He even lashed out at Babu for writing his father’s name Sivanarayana as the land owner. He questioned who should be held responsible for all this controversy.

Protest against Prabhas

The publicity of posters of Prabhas’ latest offering ‘Rebel’ had come under severe criticism. ‘Voice of tobacco victims in the state of Andhra Pradesh’ staged a Gandhian protest at Cinemax Theatre & Prabhas residence on Tuesday against ‘REBEL’ movie & its Hero Prabhas, for openly promoting cigarette smoking as seen in the movie posters and exhibits, which is against the COTPA (Cigarettes & Other Tobacco Products Act). They handed over a memo to Mr Satyanarayana Raju, uncle of Prabhas (as Prabhas was not at home) and through him requested Prabhas to desist from promoting smoking, A copy of the memo was handed over to the Cinemax Theatre authorities.

Rebel Remake Rights creates a new record

Prabhas’ latest release Rebel may not win the accolades of critics but that does not stop the movie from creating a record. The Hindi remake rights of the movie had fetched a bomb. Manish from Mumbai bagged the Hindi dubbing rights of the movie for a whooping amount of Rs 2.15 crores. This is the highest for any Telugu movie in recent times. However, there is no clarity regarding who will be casted in the movie.

On the other side, Lawerence’ earlier movie ‘Kanchana’ is also being made in Hindi with Sanjay Dutt playing the role of Sarath Kumar.

Aish to be Mani Ratnam’s Rebecca

Ace film maker Mani Ratnam is planning a movie which is an adaptation of Daphne Du Maurier’s famous 1938 novel Rebecca. Rebecca is the story of a newly married woman who is constantly compared to the first wife of her husband by the housekeeper. While she feels belittled by the shadow of the deceased lady of the house, she later realises that her husband was never in love earlier. Mani Ratnam is currently busy in the script work.

This will be the first movie of Aish post her pregnancy. If all goes well, the film will go on floors by late next year and is expected to hit the theatres in 2014.

Ravi Teja’s next titled ‘Jinthatha’

Ravi Teja who is currently shooting for his next movie ‘Sir Osthara’ has signed his next movie. The movie titled ‘Jinthatha’ will be directed by a new comer, Koti who is a former associate of Rajamouli. He earlier tried to do a movie with Naga Chaitanya but that did not materialize. It is not known if Jintatha is the same script offered for Chaitanya.

MM Keeravani is going to score the music for the movie and the music sittings are already on. Eega producer Sai Korrapati is going to produce the movie on his Varahi Chala Chitram banner. The movie will go on to sets early next year.

Will Mahesh impress Tamil Thambis?

With Tamil market opening up for Telugu movies, Mahesh Babu’s Businessman is now being dubbed and released in Tamil. The movie was supposed to release simultaneously in Tamil but could not due to some issues. Currently, the dubbing works are in progress.

The film stars Mahesh Babu and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead and is directed by commercial movie specialist Puri Jagganadh. The film also boasts a host of supporting actors like Prakash Raj, Nasser and Sayaji Shinde, who are very familiar to Tamil audiences. The film’s music has been composed by S Thaman.

Botsa seeks 100yrs Ban

Botsa Satyanarayana who is minting money in his Vijayanagaram constituency by liquor mafia and making all his entire family members as MLCs, MLAs etc became APCC Chief and Minister in CM Kiran Kumar Reddy’s cabinet using his political influence. Cong high command bypassed the rule of one post one person in case of Botsa. This shows his true power and influence at the High Command.

To the surprise of all Botsa in his media interactions sought ban for 100yrs on him. He was responding to Samaikyandhra JAC calling for 18yrs ban on Botsa for his pro telangana stand commenting what was wrong if two states are carved for telugu speaking people when hindi speaking people are having so many states. Botsa sporting a sheepish smile said media will be asking these kinds of questions and said if 18yrs are not enough, they can ban him for 100yrs.

He went on to add that all telangana ministers are waiting for solution of T tangle. He said they are not unhappy with CM but only are saddened with delay on Telangana issue. Botsa made fun of CBN yatra saying CBN should name his yatra as ‘Na Kosam..Vastunna’ instead of ‘Vastunna…mee Kosam’.

Mysterious miss of Power Star

When ever any function happen concerning mega family happen, it attracts immense attention from mega fans , movie lovers and general public. Mega family enjoy so much popularity that every move of each and every family member is scrutinized to the core. Yesterday Mega Family felicitated versatile actor Tanikella Bharani with Allu Ramalingiah National Comedian award. Everyone from mega family MegaStar Chiranjeevi, Allu Aravind, Ram Charan Teja and Allu Arjun graced the occasion.

However the mega function turned out to be ‘Power’less with Power Star Pawan Kalyan absenting himself from the function. This again highlighted the differences in mega family members. Many times this came to fore and it all started with Megastar giving a miss to Power Star Panjaa audio release function. Then Power Star struck back by not attending Mega Power Star Ram Charan Teja’s Racha audio release.

Megastar made his presence felt at Gabbar Singh audio release and he lashed out at media for spreading rumors on his family members. Now it has to be seen what excuse Power Star Pawan Kalyan has got in his sleeve. Currently however he is starring in Puri Jagannath directed ‘Cameraman Gangato Rambabu’. Can ‘Shadow’ spring surprise on silver screen

Top tollywood hero Venkatesh scored numerous hits which made Victory has his household name. However for the past few years he has been looking for a decent hit. He is currently starring in a multi starrer ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’ teaming with Prince Mahesh Babu. The film is directed by Srikanth Addala and many of the Venky fans fear that even if the film turn out to be sensational hit, most of the credit will go to Prince Mahesh Babu. Their fears are not without any reason since film makers released the film’s first look posters and teasers on birthdays of Super Star Krishna and Prince Mahesh Babu.

Victory Venkatesh is turning don for the first time in his career ,after more than a decade in his upcoming film’Shadow’ under Meher Ramesh’s direction. The film’s teaser was released hours back and the stylish teaser captured the attention of all movie lovers instantly. This is making many wonder whether ‘Shadow’ can spring surprise on silver screen in the presence of high profile films like ‘Nayak’, ‘Badhsah’, ‘Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu’, ‘Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’ etc. However only thing that pulls it back is director Meher Ramesh’s track record who is making his come back after a disaster like ‘Shakti’ that featured Young Tiger NTR. It has to be seen how he will buck the trend.

Save Hyderabad movement again?

No one can deny the fact that due to the on going bandhs, hartals, protests and marchs’ reputation of the city and Brand Hyderabad has taken a severe beating. The capital of Andhra Pradesh which once used to be the hottest destination for any new investments or industrial locations fast lost its sheen and is currently languishing despondently watching the developments with mute spectator just like popular Buddha statue situated in the middle of Hussain Sagar.

Many feel that atleast Buddha is saved as otherwise he would have met the same fate at the hands of mindless mobsters who are going on rampage breaking everything of value they see. Everyone knows they are not fighting for the cause of telangana but need some opportunity to wreak terror and havoc in Hyderabad.

Already some organizations gave call for political parties like MIM which has strong presence in Hyderabad to revive save Hyderabad Movement so that the reputation of the city would be kept in contact. Many fear if the brand name is sullied it will take many more years to build. Already many industries have moved out of Hyderabad due to Govt right after them by unleashing CBI against them to cover its own follies. It has to be seen who will take lead to save Brand Hyderabad.
