Band Baaja Baaraat starring Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma is going to be remade in Telugu. After the success of Naan Ee, Nani has become a noted face in Kollywood. So, the makers of BBB remake are trying to make the movie in Telugu and Tamil.

Nani is acting in the Telugu versions of Gautham Menon and Samuthirakani’s upcoming films. Now, Gokul, a former associate of Vishnuvardhan, has approached Nani to star in the remake of Band Baaja Baarat. Apparently, the director intends to remake the film in both Telugu and Tamil. There’s also a buzz that Gokul has approached Parineeti Chopra to star in the remake. Lets wait and watch if this project materializes in near future.

He reasoned out that though stars may be willing to feature in the remake of ‘Gundamma Kadha’, of the present generation heroines none could match the caliber of Suryakantam who made Gundamma role immortal. Many feel that his comments are ill timed and reason out that had someone thought the none can match the performance of Anjali Devi as Seetha in ‘Lava Kusa’, Nayanatara wouldn’t have got the opportunity to showcase her skills in ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’. Analysts suggests that instead of speculating, if heroines are offered performance oriented roles they can prove their mettle as was shown by Anushka in films like Arundhati, Vedam etc.

Gorgeous Goan beauty Ileana feels she is insulted by Stylish Star Allu Arjun so much so that she decided to even say ‘Good Bye’ to Tollywood industry all together. It is known that the greek goddess was making a comeback of sorts in the industry after her ‘Shakti’ episode with Young Tiger NTR. She hoped to recreate the magic of ‘Devdas’ and ‘Pokiri’ with ‘Snehitudu’, ‘Julayi’ and ‘Deuvdu Chesina Manushulu’. However her zero size figure got zero marks from even her die hard fans. Even film makers used harsh dialogues like ‘Karuvochina country ki brand ambassador’ as she ignored their suggestions to put on some weight. Now stung and insulted by all these comments she decided to say good bye to tollywood.

She says “My parents are presently living in Goa. I am looking for a place in Mumbai so that they can shift here with me. I want to settle down in Mumbai. So right now I am hunting for a house in the city,”. She even ignored promoting her films ‘Julaayi’ which got a success talk and even ‘Devudu Chesina Manushulu’. It has to be seen whether Bunny pacifies and cool this hot beauty or will Tollywood will never see her illuminating presence on silver screen.

After deciding Bollywood as her priority, she is planning to settle down in Mumbai to pursue her plans there.

Her first Bollywood release is Barfi! is releasing on Sep 14. In the Anurag Basu directed movie Ileana will be seen sharing screen space with Ranbir Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra.

“My parents are presently living in Goa. I am looking for a place in Mumbai so that they can shift here with me. I want to settle down in Mumbai. So right now I am hunting for a house in the city,” the 24-year-old said.

Ileana made her way in to South with YVS Chowdary’s Devadasu in 2006 and elevated to the highest paid actress here.

The shooting of Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Autonagar Suriya’ has delayed too much due to bad financial position of RR Movie makers and illness of Samantha. And now the makers have decided to postpone the movie release till November. Naga Chaitanya has shifted to the shooting of his Vettai remake

The movie shooting is complete except for a song for which Samantha dates are required. The movie will hit the screens on November 9th. Akkineni fans can take solace in the fact that Nagarjuna will have two releases before ANS in the form of Shirdi Sai and Damarukham in September and October.

NTR’s Oosaravelli is being remade in Bengali under the title ‘Rocky’ has Mithun Chakraborty’s son Mimoh in the lead role. This movie marks Mimoh’s debut to movies. Sujit Mondal is going to direct the film. The movie will be launched on September 25 in Hyderabad. More details of this Bengali remake are awaited.

The original film has Tamannah in the female lead and was directed by Surender Reddy and produced by BVSN Prasad under Sri Venakteswara Cine Chitra banner. The movie failed to impress Telugu audience. Lets see if the Bengali remake of the movie works out!

Ram Charan has resumed the shooting of his upcoming movie Yevadu after a brief gap. Last month, the film was shot for few days in Hyderabad and then Ram Charan flew to Europe to shoot a major portion of Naayak. He came to Hyderabad last week and The film’s unit is presently shooting in Hyderabad where actress Amy Jackson joined the unit recently.

Starting from September 14th, the film unit will fly to Vizag soon to wrap up some more talkie part on Ram Charan and Amy. Samantha, who’s playing the lead role in the film, is going to join the unit in October. This eagerly awaited action entertainer also has Allu Arjun and Kajal Aggarwal in important roles. Dil Raju is producing the film. Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music. The film is expected to hit the screens in summer, 2013.

Matrudevobhava which released in 1993 is one of the classics of Telugu cinema. When it is released in Telugu many villagers went on bullock cart to watch this movie. Many halls are supplied hand kerchiefs along with tickets to wipe tears.

And now Yesteryear glam doll Jayaprada is all set to remake Matrudevobhava in Bhojpuri. The actress, who had already worked on couple of Bengali films, is now making her presence in Bhojpuri. And Jayaprada, is now all set to reprise Madhavi’s role in this film. Megastar Chiranjeevi graced the film’s launch held in Hyderabad on Monday morning (September 10, 2012) along with Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt.

After signing her second movie, she is now interested in doing Family dramas. “Yes, definitely I am looking forward to a family drama. I want to do a family- oriented film. A few directors had reportedly approached her with few roles but she is yet to sign the dotted line. Her second film is Ragini MMS 2, a sequel to 2011 scary movie Ragini MMS. To be directed by Pawan Kripalani and produced by Ekta Kapoor, Ragini MMS 2 will reportedly be based on a real life incident, just like the first film.
