Kishan Reddy taking KCR’s wind !

TRS chief KCR may feel that he is the chief architect of Telangana movement and no one should dare him nor question his actions. He brands who ever opposes him as traitors of telangana and those who follow him blindly as telagana heroes. This dictatorial attitude was detested not only by all political parties but also by various organizations who are fighting for the cause of telangana. However KCR does what he feels right and turn on and off the fight for telangana according to his convenience. Currently he is maintaining stoic silence and is claiming that he is receiving signals from Congress High Command and Union Govt on telangana formation.

However opposition party BJP which is the only national party to have raised the telangana issue in parliament decided to take the fight for telangana to national capital Delhi. Its leader Kishan Reddy flagged off Telangana Poru Yatra in the presence of all its national leaders. What stung KCR is the presence of Kodandaram, president of TJAC. Kishan in a fiery speech promised to pass the bill in parliament even though TDP, CPM, MIM oppose T formation. He demanded unconditional apology from Sonia Gandhi for delaying formation of Telangana.

Many feel that Kishan Reddy and his party’s huge protests in Del will surely take wind out of KCR and TRS party which is passing time with useless statements.

Will ‘Shirdi Sai’ go ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’ way?

Nagarjuna devotional starrer ‘Shirdi Sai’ is getting released in a spectacular manner on 6th September across the world much to the delight of movie lovers and more importantly millions of sai devotees spread across the globe. It will be treat for them as they do not have much hit films on Shirdi Sai. Many films came on Sai and his miracles helping devotees in need, but only one that caught the imagination of all is ‘Shirdi Saibaba Mahatyam’ starring Vijayachander in 80s. The film consists of melodious songs rendered by great singers like
Yesudas and Balasubramaniam. After so many decades ‘Shirdi Sai’ is attracting the attention of all.

However one wonder whether Shirdi Sai will highlight miracles and greatness of Sai Baba or get smitten by graphic technology and let it dominate the film. Now a days graphics worked wonders in ‘Sri Rama Rajyam’, ‘Eega’ and even upcoming films like ‘Damarukam’. Many fear that unless until film makers controlled their urge to use graphics just for the use of it, it graphics will dominate the film, thus depriving movie lovers to enjoy the feel and essence of Shirdi.

Many cite the example of Balakrishna starrer Sri Rama Rajyam, in which film makers used extensive usage of graphics and movie lovers felt that they couldn’t enjoy Bapu’s beautiful narration and storyline. This proved to be the drawback of the film. One has to wait and watch what Shirdi Sai got to deliver.

Tollywood is the only industry which is blessed with two charming personalities and macho heroes King Nagarjuna and Prince Mahesh Babu. A peek at other regional or bollywood industries reveal that they are not blessed with such handsome heroes. This made many envy tollywood but now a question arises after King Nagarjuna and Prince Mahesh Babu who will be the torch bearer for brand charming. Till now none of the genex heroes comes anywhere near them and one has to wait and pray for new prince charming will be arriving in Tollywood.

A look at both King Nagarjuna and Prince Mahesh Babu’s career signifies one interesting point. While Mahesh from the beginning took utmost care on his looks even before his debut and remained the same from then on, Nag took time for grooming in his initial years. It took time since his ‘Shiva’ and ‘Geetanjali’ before becoming the ‘Manmadhudu’ of Tollywood. This shows generations have changed and heroes are taking immense care even before making their debut. However many are surprised that after the entry of Prince Mahesh, none of them with the looks of Nag and Mahesh came in the industry. Wonder what the film makers are doing and questions arise whether anyone is focusing their attention on this side.

Silver screen stage is set for mega star wars between young aspiring youngsters hailing from all powerful Akkineni and Nandamuri families. Both King Nagarjuna and Natasimha Balakrishna already announced in various press meetings and functions that their sons Akkineni Akhil and Nandamuri Mokshagna will be making their silver screen debut soon.Already movie lovers and fans of both the heroes have started betting on who will emerge winners. Tollywood and movie lovers witnessed many fascinating battles between both the families right from the times of NTR and ANR. Both thrilled movie lovers with their superlative performances and then even clashed with their films. Their legacy is carried forward by Nagarjuna and Balakrishna. They are helped by heroes from their families like Sumanth, Susanth, Naga Chaitanya on one side and NTR, Harikrishna, Tarak and Rohit on other side.

Now Akhil and Mokshagna are honing their acting skills before making their grand appearance on silver screen. While Akhil captured the attention of all with his performance as player in CCL and as ‘Sisindri’, Mokshagna is relatively new, except for appearing in some audio launch functions. Sonu Sood joins Zanjeer team!

After quite a bit of back and forth, it is now confirmed that Sonu Sood will play the role of Sher Khan in Apoorva Lakhia’s remake of Zanjeer.Initially, Sanjay Dutt was supposed to take up the role, but news came later that Arjun Rampal had been finalised for it. However, even Arjun recently backed out of the movie citing date issues.

But now Ram Charan had intervened and convinced the makers to rope in Sonu Sood for the role. Charan felt Sonu will be apt for the role and his acquintance with the Telugu cinema will help the movie as it is a bilingual made both in Telugu and Hindi.Even though the actor is yet to do sign the dotted line, he had reportedly given his confirmation to the makers.

The movie had completed two schedules of shooting – One in Mumbai and the other in Bangkok. Priyanka Chopra is pairing up with Ram Charan in the movie which marks Charan’s debut in Bollywood.

SVSC finally resumes shooting

Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu has gone wayward with Samantha’s illness and her unavailability later on, is finally back on track. Mahesh had left for Chennai where the latest schedule of Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu will begin from 4th September. Samantha will join the movie unit in this schedule. The talkie part of the movie is almost 60% complete. The makers are planning to complete the remaining shoot and release the movie for December.

Samantha is playing Mahesh Babu’s heroine in this film. Anjali is the another heroine.Mickey J Meyer is scoring music and Srikanth Addala is directing this movie on Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. K V Guhan is the cinematographer.

Super Star Krishna – the inspiration for Firestar Solomon Raju role

Director Srinu Vaitla is known to create few funny characters from the industry in his movies and create a doubt in the minds of audience who could be it. It was Chakri in Jayasuriya character in King movie and one more such character is Firestar Solomon Raju. MS Narayana played the role of a old Super star ‘Firestar Solomon Raju’ in Ravi Teja’s Dubai Seenu directed by Srinu Vaitla. The role then became controversial with people started guessing who could be the inspiration behind the role. Srinu Vaitla then bluntly refused stating no one is in his mind while designing the character.

But after 5 years of the movie release, MS Narayana the actor who played the role had revealed the secret. In a TV show, he confessed that it was Super Star Krishna who is behind that role. However, he had added that Krishna had admired his acting in the role and never got hurt due to that.

Yeto Vellipoindhi Manasu audio launch postponed

The much awaited audio launch of Nani, Samantha starer Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu which was supposed to take place on September 2 has been postponed once again. Music Maestro Ilayaraja was expected to perform with the Hungarian Orchestra but the event was postponed due to logistical reasons. The audio launch of the Tamil version, Neethane En Ponvasantham took place on Friday night in Chennai and was a huge hit. The makers have released the audio in to the market and will very soon conduct the event.

Sony Music, had bagged the audio rights of the movie and teasers released so far were greeted to good response. The film’s audio is going to be launched on September 2nd. Gautham Menon is directing this film in Telugu and Tamil. Jiiva and Samantha are playing the lead roles in the Tamil version titled Neethane En Ponvasantham. Ilayaraja has composed the music.C.Kalyan had bagged the Telugu rights of the movie for a fancy price.

Life is Beautiful release postponed by a day

Shekar Kammula fans had to wait a bit longer to catch the movie of their favourite director which is releasing after a gap of 2 years. The theatrical release of Sekhar Kammula’s upcoming film Life is Beautiful which was earlier slated to release on September 13th was now postponed by a day.The movie shooting was completed long ago and the post production works are in the finishing stage.The entire story is set in a colony and has the feel of Shekar Kammula’s super hit movie Happy Days.

The film narrates the story of six youngsters who share their friendships, joys and sorrows as they grow up in this colony. Abijeet, Sudhakar, Kaushik, Shagun, Zara, Rashmi, Kavya, Naveen, Vijay, Sanjeev and Sriram are playing the lead roles in the film. Mickey J Meyer has composed the music and Vijay C Kumar is the cinematographer.

Nandamuri Balakrishna is well known for his tremendous dialogue delivery. However, he took all the guests at the success meet of Srimannarayana by surprise recently, with singing the song ‘Chalaki Chupulathone’. The attendees at the event greeted his performance with claps and cheers.

In a recent interview, the actor had expressed his desire to sing for his movie and promised his fans to do that in his next movie. He added that he wants to sing in the music direction of Chakri who scored music for Simha and Srimannarayana.

HM Sabita siding with criminals?

It seems Center and Andhra Pradesh ruled by Congress will not sleep peacefully without facing one scam or another or one allegation or other. Even on Sunday when state Home Minister Sabitha Indra Reddy was touring East Godavari District, war of words flared up between IPS officers. The govt already had its hands full with High Court setting asides its orders recruiting top police official. The entire episode of these allegations unveils the mask of heroin mafia.

Rampachodavaram ASP Dr. Naveen Kumar recenly alleged that District SP Trivikram Varma recieved Rs 1.5 lakhs per load of heroin and even tried eliminating him. He went ahead and once again addressed media when HM Sabita was touring the district and said he even recorded all video evidence against the top bosses. He made startling revelation that even an IG was involved in the whole matter.

However HM Sabitha instead of acting on his complaint, threatened action against ASP for superseding his bosses. She cooly washed off her hands saying once she gets reports from DIG on SP and ASP allegations she will take action. The entire episode started with police seizing lorries loaded with heroin and on inquiry found that they were from Rampachodavaram, East Godavari. Warangal SP, inqired his wife Neetu Prasad who happen to be Collector of East Godavari on the whole issue and request to find out the truth in the matter with Rampachodavaram ASP Naveen Kumar.He took it as prestige issue as it reached Warangal SP and found out startling facts from smugglers who revealed with whom they have contacts and the top officials they bribed. All the proceedings involving top police officils were recorded.

However SP Trivkram pressurised ASP not to make all these names public but ASP never heeded. In the mean time on Aug 30th Jeep carrying ASP suffered major accident with nuts of the Jeep coming out. This can not be dismissed as accident as the nuts and bolts of Jeep require an expert to loosen so that they will come out while travelling. This prompted ASP to hold press conference on the same day and alleged murder attempt on him. Eulru Range DIG also tried to patch up between SP and ASP in vain. Many eyebrows are raised as to why ASP who is sincerely unmasking the truth is targetted by Top police cops and Home Minister Sabitha.

YSR’s ghost scaring all

Late CM of Andhra Pradesh, YS.Rajasekhar Reddy never in his life time may have imagined that his name will be doing rounds every day even after his death. Right since his inception in politics he used to live a daring life not fearing anyone inside or outside the party. He used to take on opposition single handedly even when all his colleagues used to search for answers. During his regime many times one got to see his aggressive nature when he used to take on TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu. He did not even leave TRS chief KCR or his party and many felt his operation Akarsh would have wiped out TRS completely from the political map had he been alive for another 3-6 months.

His sudden tragic death changed the political situation and also with it the fortunes of Andhra Pradesh so drastically that even his detesters say that had he been alive, situation would have been completely under his control and state would not have detoriated so rapidly. Around three years elapsed after his death but still his ghosts are haunting his rivals giving sleepless nights to his detractors sending shivers down their spines scaring them to the core. His rivals may be using strong words in public and many of them who were scared to look into his eyes during his regime, started acting smart but in their hearts they really fear on mere mention of three letters Y..S…R

KCR waiting to deliver knockout punch

KCR the TRS chief and chief architect of telangana moment seems to have decided that enough is enough and is planning to deliver a knockout punch so that his opponents will not have any chance to recover. Till now he has been spending his days issuing statements and disappearing from entire media glare, enjoying at his farm house. When many wondered and tried to find out reason for his stoic silence, he in Aug issued statement that by 20th Aug some statement on Telangana will be out and he was getting signals from Centre. However nothing happened and KCR did not open his mouth.

However now that TDP leader Chandra Babu decided to come with a major statement on 17th of this month to take on TRS and KCR, KCR decided to give fresh deadline to Centre and said if nothing comes out on 17th, he will launch a mass protest soon. TJAC and other NGOs fighting for Telangana are waiting for KCR’s steps. However this time KCR will not find it that easy to launch a protest and make it successful as his differences with T Jac and Kodandaram along with student unions reached point of no return.

TRS however says he will be soon flying to Delhi, meet various opposition leaders and bring Congress down to its knees with a full fledged powerful moment. It has to be seen how successful KCR will be and even he knows that time is running out for him and people cant be taken for a ride all the time in the runup for elections.

Winds of change blowing Cong

Present situation in Congress Govt in AP is so fluid that anything may happen at any time. Every three to six months there will be news about CM change but till now nothing happened. According to latest rumors Botsa Satyanarayana whom media speculated that he was out of favor with Congress High Command, is all set to shock all coming back with a bang.

Sources say he will soon be thrown out of APCC chief post but he won’t be insulted in any manner. As a matter of fact he will be rewarded with Dy CM post. So Botsa will be one step away from realizing his dream of becoming CM. It will be shocker for Dy CM Damodar Rajanarasimha who was touted to be next CM.

This is not the only change in offing. Mega Star’s Chiranjeevi’s ambition of becoming CM is stalled at present but he will be rewarded with Union Minister post at Center. There are many suitors for APCC chief post which will be vacated by Botsa in the coming days. Speculation is Minister kanna lakshminarayana, Dy speaker Mallu Bhatti vikramarka are in intense competition with each other for the post. All the changes are expected to happen in between 9th-11th Sep once Sonia who is presently undergoing treatment in Overseas, return to India.

Mahesh coming as ACHARYA soon ?

Mahesh Babu is currently doing Seetamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu and another movie in Sukumar’s direction. Although SVSC is making more buzz as it is the first multistarrer movie of this era, fans of Superstar are much more excited about Sukumar’s film. Director Sukumar is known for creating different characters and making movies far from the run of the mill stuff.

Mahesh Babu is very much impressed with Sukumar’s film and he has told that he loves this character to the core. Mahesh’s said that this type of characters doesn’t come in your way often and when it was offered it has to be bagged immediately. Mahesh plays a lecturer in a woman’s college in this movie. It is a romantic entertainer blended with action.

As per the buzz this movie might be titled Acharya as Mahesh is lecturer in it and also it is in sync with Arya, the biggest hit in Sukumar’s career so far. Earlier it was rumored that Chandrudu is the title in consideration for this film. But Acharya seems trendy as well as interesting. Let’s see if this will be finalized or Sukumar comes up with a better title for the Charming Prince.

Salman Khan’s Advice For RamCharan

It is known news that Ram Charan is currently juggling his time between three of his projects and one among them is very prestigious. Well, it happens to be his Bollywood debut and it is also the remake of the classic hit of Bollywood ‘Zanjeer’ which had the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Pran.

Now, it is heard that some brakes have been applied for the remake since Arjun Rampal who was reprising the role of Pran has walked out. But here is the more challenging part. It is heard that the Bollywood superstar Salman Khan who has been a guide to Charan in Bollywood has reportedly recommended Sanjay Dutt as replacement.

Well, Sanju Baba is Sallu’s close friend and with Salman’s recommendation, Sanjay is under serious consideration for the role. That is indeed a good news for the film but it may not be for Charan, say a few. Well, Sanjay is a heavyweight in Bollywood in both personality and in brand value so the challenge for Charan is, he has to prove his presence and at the same time look compatible physically with Sanjay onscreen. This should be interesting.

Tollywood film makers are currently suffering from sudden shivers and are unable to find out the remedy to solve their problem. It all started with ‘Allari’ Naresh who turned as Sudden Star and gave a sensational hit on tollywood silver screen with ‘Sudigadu’. Though the film received average talk at centres and film analysts, it is making huge profits much to the surprise of trade analysts. The comedy spoofs on more than 100 hit films connected well with the viewers of ‘B’ and ‘C’ centers and more or less made up for the illogical story and screen play and even the slow pace of the film.

However the film’s success is sending shivers down the spines of small film makers as Allari Naresh is shocking them with his demands. Small film makers smitten by Sudigadu success made beeline to Allari Naresh with offers but were shocked when the new ‘Sudden Star’ asked them about the budget of their projects.

Analysts say that film makers are banking on Naresh as he has got the reputation of minimum guarantee hero and it will be a tragedy that even he thinks of high budget films and starts enquiring about the budget of the film. They say that film makers will think twice on making a big budget film with heroes of Allari Naresh’s stature and if he starts demanding like this, then he will be losing out some crazy offers.

Cong specials from Hyd to Delhi

Now a days even Tom, Dick and Harry from state Congress is making Delhi trip to try their best to impress Cong High command and Sonia Gandhi and get something in favor from her. People and political analysts are heard commenting that just like special trains and flights with to and fro offers for Hyd-Del, it would be better that some special season trains and flights can be introduced.

They feel that in this way even aviation and rail transports will receive huge profits. This is because they say it is a political season and seasonal offers always fetch huge amounts of profits. Now as such many congress leaders mostly former ministers, MLAs and MPs are making beeline to Delhi meeting various bosses from high command.

They used to create a hype that something is going to happen and CM change and many more changes in state politics are in offing. However when nothing happens they are seen escaping from media glare in a secretive manner. Many wonder who are behind those rumors and gossips of CM change every three to six months. Some question how and why media is also giving credence to their statements though nothing happens.
