Story: Shiva (Allari Naresh) gets separated from his parents (Allari Naresh,Hema) at the time of his birth and is brought up by his grandmother(Kovai sarala). He falls in love with priya(Monal). Priya’s father asks for his parents’ whereabouts. Siva along with priya goes in search of his parents. What happens after that is what the climax is about?
Performances: Allari Naresh justified the role very well and he does all the spoofs brilliantly. Monal is cute and has limited role. Allari Naresh is okay in the father’s (kamesh) role also. Jaya Prakash reddy does the same role as factionist. The remaining supporting cast has done their job well. There is no story at all but the screenplay is entertaining with some good witty lines. Cinematography and editing is okay. Music is passable with one catchy number. Direction is good. The production values are rich.

Analysis: Sudigadu is the re-make of Tamil film TAMIZH PADAM (2010). The director has taken only the concept and a few (Introduction, Climax ones in particular) scenes and has built a very entertaining and engaging script full of spoofs from hit films in Telugu Industry.
All the actors have done decent job in their limited roles. There are almost all the comedians of the industry. Kondavalasa, LB.Sriram, M.S.Narayana as Boys(under age) is funny. Brahmanandam, Venu Madhav, Ali, Dharmavarapu have very small roles. Rachana Mourya sizzled in an item song.
The credit should be given to Bheemineni and his team for coming up with such hilarious episodes which evoked good amount of laughter in the theaters. The Dialogues are very good. The scenes and Dialogues which have come out well are

Music by Vasanth is okay and the background music (reminding us all movies) is good. Art work is good. Cinematography and editing are okay. Hero (Naresh) does all the heroic deeds our Mass heroes have been doing from ages which bring smiles on your face and you really enjoy them.
Bheemineni has done a correct job in selecting Allari Naresh for this satirical Comedy Spoof. The Script is entertaining and the artists have done good job in making it a Success. Director could have taken care towards the climax, as the climax is not so gripping. This film is to get entertained keeping your mind at home (No Story, No logic)
A very good satirical Spoof (spoofs) on the Drama dominating Telugu Industry Flicks.
I can’t reveal much about the movie as you loose the thrill and entertainment. Go watch this entertainer to this weekend.

Rebel audio release date

The confusion surrounding the release dates of Prabhas’ upcoming movie continues. The makers had hinted a September 14th release which is now ruled out. The shooting of the movie is almost complete except for some patch work. According to the latest update,The makers are planning to release the audio of the movie on September 14th and the movie is expected to hit the screens on September 28th.
Choreographer turned director Raghava Lawrence is directing the film and Bhagawan and Pulla Rao are jointly producing the film. Krishnam Raju is playing an important role in this action entertainer. Lawrence himself is composing the music for the film after the music director Thaman walked out of the project.

The shooting of Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s upcoming movie Yevadu is progressing with a brisk pace. Vamsi Paidipalli is directing this film while Samantha and Amy Jackson are pairing up with Charan.
If we look at the storyline of the movie, Allu Arjun who is a happy go lucky guy and there is a love track for him. Everything goes well till he meets with a fatal accident in which his face is entirely disfigured. Then, his mother (Suhasini) gives the doctors the photo of Ram Charan and Allu Arjun gets transformed in to Charan in the interval bang.
Problems spring out of no where from then, Allu with the face of Charan encounters with people trying to kill him. Also his girl friend deserts him. And the rest of the story is how he manages out of this mess.

Devadas back to Tollywood

Right from ANR to Ram, Devadas had been a lucky title in Tollywood and now there is a new addition to that club. He is none other than young hero Tanish and his next project is titled ‘Devadas’. The director says that this Devadas will be different from the previous. The movie will go on to sets from September 7th, on the occasion of Tanish’s birthday.
Debutant G. Srinivas is wielding megaphone with this film. V.S.Rami Reddy is producing the movie on V.S.R. Production banner. Popular music director Chakri is scoring the tunes for the film.

Chiranjeevi not doing Zanjeer

Mega Star Chiranjeevi has squashed the rumours of him playing a special cameo in Ram Charan’s Bollywood debut movie, Zanjeer. “Do not know how some rumours emerge. I was even surprised at the news. I am not acting in the movie” the actor said.

“I know that all my fans are eagerly waiting for my 150th film. I am eager too, but this movie should be special. Cinema is a powerful medium which can influence lakhs of people. Once a satisfactory script is finalized, I will do it”, he said.

Yeto Vellipoindhi Manasu audio release date

The shooting of Nani, Samantha starrer Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu is gearing up for a finish. The last schedule of the shooting is currently in progress in Kalpakkam, near Chennai.
Sony Music, had bagged the audio rights of the movie and teasers released so far were greeted to good response. The film’s audio is going to be launched on September 2nd. Gautham Menon is directing this film in Telugu and Tamil. Jiiva and Samantha are playing the lead roles in the Tamil version titled Neethane En Ponvasantham. Ilayaraja has composed the music.C.Kalyan had bagged the Telugu rights of the movie for a fancy price.

Shankar’s big class to Amy Jackson

Director Shankar one of the hardest task masters when it comes to films and always strives for perfection. The sensational director was reportedly irked with the behaviour of Brit Beauty Amy Jackson, whom he has cast opposite Vikram as the female lead in I.
Apparently, Amy was turning up late or with sleepless eyes for the shoot and the actress looked far from being fresh due to her late-night gigs.
The concerned director called Amy aside and told her in no uncertain terms that she has to stay away from the party circuit until the end of his film’s shoot as he doesn’t want it to disrupt his film’s outcome. We hear that an embarrassed Amy promised Shankar that she will mend her ways.

The sudden meeting between Megastar-Rajya Sabha member K Chiranjeevi and Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Thursday afternoon triggered widespread speculations in the media circles.
It was not a pre-appointed meeting and Chiranjeevi received a sudden call from Sonia for a meeting at her residence. And since the meeting took place a few hours before the arrival of Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy to New Delhi, it assumed a lot of significance.
Sources in New Delhi said Sonia wanted to get a feedback from Chiranjeevi on the latest political developments in the state as a neutral observer and hence called him for the meeting. However, speculations were rife that she sought to know whether he was prepared to take the Chief Minister’s mantle in case Kiran is dropped from the chair. And the way Chiranjeevi left her residence silently without talking to media has led to these speculations.
It was only on Wednesday that Chiranjeevi told the media that the people wanted to see him as the Chief Minister. Though he said Kiran would continue as CM till 2014, his statement has raised many an eyebrow. However, it is not clear whether Chiranjeevi is ready to accept the post if it is offered to him.

A movie is being made in Sandalwood on popular Forest smuggler Veerappan’s life. Tamil actor Kishore is playing the role of the smuggler in the movie. The movie had invoked good amount of curiosity there. And now the makers of the movie are now planning to shoot a promotional song with the film’s leading ladies – Lakshmi Rai, Bhavana Rao and Vijayalakshmi., meant for TV publicity, a first in Sandalwood.
Sandeep Chowta is rendering music for this movie while Emil (of Jinke Mari Na fame) will compose this track.

MS Raju turns Pattuviduvani Vikramarkudu

Nagarjuna to shake legs with Lakshmi Rai

Sexy Siren Lakshmi Rai is all set to shake legs with Tollywood Glamour King Nagarjuna. This is for the item song of the movie which incidentally is also the introduction song of the actor in the movie. The song will be shot from 27th of this month in Hyderabad. With this the entire shooting of the movie will be wrapped up. The audio release of the movie will take place on September 10th and movie will hit the screens on October 12th.
Damarukam is directed by Srinivas Reddy and produced by Dr Venkat under RR Movie Makers banner. Devi sri Prasad is music director. Cinematography is by Chota K Naidu.Anushka is once again pairing opposite Nagarjuna.

Looks like Sunny Leone had now learnt how to stay in news always. Her first release in Bollywood Jism2 got released recently and bombed at the box office. The actress was told that she disappointed her fans by not exposing in the movie. Here is what she got to say –
“We have a different set of rules in India. There is a Censor Board we have to answer to, whose rules are pretty strict. There is an adult film industry everywhere. But I did this movie knowing it is mainstream Hindi cinema. I’m sorry for letting them down by not exposing. But hey! They bought the tickets, so I want to thank them!”

Tollywood unattractive for telugu gals?

Girls and teenagers generally get attracted towards glamor field and they crave to become stars dreaming of rubbing shoulders with their dream heroes. However a careful observation shows that telugu gals seems to be not interested in making acting in Tollywood as their career. There are hardly any telugu heroine in the film industry unlike Kollywood, Mollywood or Bollywood. It is surprising fact as Kollywood and Mollywood beauties even come to tollywood or Bollywood and shake box office which is the same with Bollywood beauties. However things are not the same in case of telugu girls.
If any film maker says that there are no beautiful and gorgeous looking girls in the state of Andhra Pradesh, then he or she would be at fault because Dia Mirza, Gadde Sindhura and Diana Hayden made waves in fashion and glamor fields but are rejected by tollywood film makers. They are as beautiful as bollywood babes and could have given run for their money. One can never forget Tabu who has the tempting structure. If one say that they don’t have acting skills then one remember how Rajamundry born Anjali was shown the exit door from tollywood. She won the accolades of all in Tamil Nadu and the same is the case with Bindu Madhavi born in Madanepalli or Madhu Shalini who is starring in bollywood.. All of them don’t lack either in beauty of professionalism.
Film makers are in their own world and inhibitions and if they come out of their shell and look, there are many beautiful telugu girls to take on beauties from other regions on tollywood silverscreen.

Imminent Change points to good or bad?

The present political situation in Andhra Pradesh and even in the Country shows that change is imminent and the moment general elections are held, people will show exit doors to the leaders that are ruling the State and the Country at present. Many surveys conducted by leading organisations point towards imminent change with the present parties which are ruling the state and center losing its sheen and popularity in public. For many years people have been tolerating corruption, scams, law and order problems etc. To some extent they even tolerated rise in prices, however when Central Govt decided to keep on increasing petrol prices everytime by 5-7 Rs on flimsy grounds they decided enough of it. Then the State Govt decided to increase electricity charges and also got ready to collect dues for earlier years also inspite of repeatedly warned by the High Court not to do so. This made people furious as inept officials show their helplessness in collecting pending dues from defaulters but try to extract more from innocent and honest tax payers.
Many feel that if they do their duty and collect dues on time from VVIPS and Govt organisations which are defaulting crores of rupees there won’t be any need for increase in tariffs. Increase in prices of essential commodities, vegetables, food grains left house wives fuming. All sections of people are angry with ruling Govts at state and center and even though they are trying their best to divide people by caste and regional lines, they have made up their mind to teach them a mind blowing lesson to them. However irony is that there are no other alternatives and they have to choose between devil and the deep blue sea and many wonder where imminent change points to. Whether it is good or bad to people in general.

‘Sudigadu’ eying smiles centuries

Allari Naresh is always known for his hilarious acting and he always comes with 5-6 comedy crapers much to the delight of movie lovers. He is coming as Sudigadu tomorrow and is planning to score smiles centuries on tollywood silver screen. He is romancing hot mesmerizing Mumbai beauty Monal Gajjar in the film. The film is a spoof on contemporary films in tollywood and while it is nothing new for the industry which witnessed spoofs, film makers this time targeted more than 100 super hit tollywood films starring top heroes.

Naresh is turning Sudden Star in the film and for the first time he is having a prefix in front of his name. A title that suggests he is about to take off for bigger laurels. Sudigadu is promising ‘100’ films on one ticket and as such Naresh, the new Sudden Star going by the same logic is planning to score smiles centuries on tollywood silver screen. Naresh in his film’s trailers did not leave Power Star’s Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh nor Natasimha Balakrishna’s previous films. Some however feel that the double meaning dialogues included for mass viewers may turn off family fans of Allari Naresh. It has to be seen how movie lovers will be rating Sudden Star with their success stars.

Megastar divorces Mega Queen

Millions of mega fans across the world celebrated their hero Mega Star Chiranjeevi’s birthday in a spectacular manner yesterday. Even Allari Naresh who used Chiru’s superhit title ‘Yamudiki Mogudu’ for his film, celebrated the grand occasion by cutting a cake in the presence of Megastar’s fans. All political leaders, is party’s cadre and his fellow MPs immersed him with best wishes, greetings. Chiru who became Rajya Sabha MP is currently in Delhi, and all the greetings delighted him making him extremely happy.
When ever he interacts with media, question about his 150th film, which marks a milestone in his career will invariable come up and Chiru this time answered saying that if he gets a strong script which satisfies all his fans and people in general, he would do definitely do it. He said he is looking for a message oriented film that creates a strong impact on the society just like ‘Tagore’ and ‘Stalin’. He even underlined a threat that if he don’t get such scripts he will not star in films and fans can take that he has said good bye to Tollywood.
Many are left stunned by the tenor of his speech. However some felt that he decided to desert Tollywood which has given such unbelievable stardom as he fell immensely in love with the CM chair. Many times he was seen remarking that even if some one address him as future CM, he sees only love and affection in it. Already some in congress started hailing him as future CM and the tone and tenor in his speech shows that Megastar is in deep love with CM chair which made him divorce beautiful Tollywood Mega Queen which has given him many mega hits and even introduced Lady Luck to him..

Who is AP’s Corruption King ?

State of Andhra Pradesh is witnessing bitter political battle between various political parties with all the leaders indulging in accusations and counter accusations on each other. It all started with Chandra Babu Naidu of TDP who started accusing later YSR during his rule that he was the ‘Raja of Corruption’. He even published a detailed booklet highlighting YSR’s corruption saga. Later he trained his guns on his son YS.Jagan. Differences with Congress landed Jagan in jail and both Congress and TDP started accusing him as the Emperor of Corruption.

However YSR CP accused Chandra Babu of being the King of Corruption during his 9yr stint as CM. They also name some of his controversial GOs and even Congress say that they are just following his Govt orders. Congress is totally immersed in corruption with one of its minister languishing in jail while another in queue. As many as 6 cabinet ministers received notices from Supreme Court and opposition parties are putting Congress Govt in the dock. Some allege its chief Bota Satyanaraya is the Corruption Emperor having involved himself in liquor mafia and land scams.
Who ever emerges winner in this race, some say will pale in comparison to the money Raja, Kanimozhi, Maran made in 2G or those involved in coal scam made. Lalu, Jaya, Maya are far ahead of all these people in corruption. One has to wait and see what verdict poor people whose money has been looted will pass on these high profile politicians.

Censor Board turning blind

 Film Industry has Censor Board to monitor the good and bad it is doling out to the society and try to put it on right track whenever film makers deviate in different directions. In the olden days board members used to be very strict and never used to allow even slightest of double meaning dialogues or even lyrics in the songs. However with the influence of Hollywood films they used to be a bit liberal but however compared to bollywood films, films from South still took time to break free from shackles of traditions. Even now slightest comparison between films from bollywood and south, shows that bollywood films passes censor board with intimate kissing scenes and erotic romantic scenes unlike southern films which face road blocks for a few minutes lip locks.
Film makers from South allege bias at regional censor board, accusing the director of showing favoritism to top film makers but showing stars to small film makers. They even lodged a complaint against the director with the Union Govt. Even movie lovers who happen to watch genex films are left to wonder how some films are getting passed at the censor board. They cite two small films which went on to complete 100 days successfully. However those two films are fully loaded with double meaning dialogues. Many question whether censor board has become blind. Many joke that censor board is following Gandhi’s principle not to see,watch or hear bad and so is closing its eyes while issuing certificates.

Who is Tollywood’s ‘Tiger’

Movie lovers and Nandamuri fans, especially that of Young Tiger NTR will get angry with the question, as Tiger in tollywood is synonymous to NTR. His stamina, powerful dialogue delivery, breathtaking dances and versatile acting loaded with powerful stunts made him the Young Tiger of tollywood. However film makers are now looking for a new ‘Tiger’. Movie lovers may be aware that Bollywood Super Star Salman Khan created a sensation with is ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ crossing Rs 100crs in just five days and many trade analysts predict that the film will be grossing more than Rs 225 crores in the long run. Already tollywood film makers are ready camping in Mumbai to bag the film’s remake rights and plan for a powerful tollywood film.

Film Nagar is abuzz with rumors that film makers got in touch with Power Star Pawan Kalyan who earlier rewrote all tollywood records by remaking Salman starrer ‘Dabaang’. Fans are still fresh from ‘Gabbar Singh’ memories and they feel that he will be better suited to become tollywood’s ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. There are some other film makers who feel that Natasimha Balakrishna is better suited for the powerful flick and even remark that who ever rewrites the script of the film in telugu, only one name strike them for the lead role and he is none other than Balakrishna.
It has to be seen who will become Tollywood’s Tiger and how Young Tiger NTR receives them and what he will do to counter those tigers and tame them to submission.
