T-cong Leaders Says No to Royal T !

Making it clear that the Telangana Congress leaders will not accept Royala Telangana at any cost, Congress member of Rajya Sabha Palvai Goverdhan Reddy has said that the Congress high command has to clear the Telangana issue first,  and then only take up issues like change of Chief Minister and other posts later.
Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Friday, Palvai has made it clear that AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi had no plans of changing the present Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. He made it clear that Sonia Gandhi didn’t discuss this issue with any leader from the State. Change of guard is a mere speculation, he said. Sonia Gandhi was busy with the Presidential elections. He said that the Centre has to create the separate Telangana State with the existing 10 districts only.
Responding to questions on Party’s bye-election debacle, Palvai said that the CBI did a mad thing by arresting YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, prior to the bye-elections. The Party also failed to face Jagan in a fitting manner and hence the party’s debacle.
Palvai has also opined that releasing of Nagarjuna Sagar water to Krishna Delta was not proper as the water in the Reservoir is at dead-storage level.

Decision on Telangana Soon – Chidanmbaram

Union Home Minister P Chidambaram has said that the central government would take a decision on Telangana as soon as possible.
Talking to the media as part of his weekly briefing, he said the Centre has been seriously considering the issue and would take an early decision. He said he has told the same to the public representatives from Telangana. He told the media that all the leaders from Andhra Pradesh, who met him, have been asking for an early solution to the issue.
Chidambaram has assured that there was no need for anyone to be anxious about solution to the issue. He has repeated his oft-repeated rhetoric that Congress and some other parties were yet to state their stand on the statehood issue. Chidambaram however said he could not set a time-frame for the decision.

Legendary music director had launched a scathing attack on choreographers who are trying to have their full grip on songs these days. Speaking to a Newspaper interview, he said, “Song is not all about dance as they think. Choreographers’ high headedness is the reason for it. Some directors and actors are giving too much of importance to these choreographers. It is not that I am against dance. I only oppose the opinion that song is all about dance”.
He also opined that Telugu music is facing the danger of extinction with too much emphasis is given for dance than lyric and tune. He feels that blind people are the only ones who take the song in the true sense. Keeravani is going to give a musical performance to blind people in Ravindra Bharathi

Brahmi’s Jaffa to Release Bollywood !

‘Comedy King’ Brahmanandam’s Jaffa will be releasing in Bollywood and Tollywood simultaneously. Comedian turned director Vennela Kishore is writing and directing the Telugu version of “Jaffa”. His friend and choreographer Sagar Das will direct the Bollywood version of Jaffa for which Kishore himself will be lending the story and screenplay. Sagar Das is a famous choreographer in Hindi and had supervised several dance numbers for many high budget films like Shahrukh Khan’s “Chak De India”and Mani Ratnam’s Raavan. This would be Sagar Das’s first movie as director. We need to wait and see what impact Brahmanandam’s Jaffa creates in Bollywood.
The movie will have simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil.

Esha Deol, Bharat Takhtani Tie the Knot !

Esha Deol tied the knot with Bharat Takhtani in a South Indian style wedding ceremony at Iskon temple this morning. Esha looked pretty in a red bridal sari by designer Neeta Lulla.

Takhtani was clad in a white sherwani, also designed by Neeta. In fact, Hema and Ahana also donned ensembles by the same designer.

The wedding ceremony was a private affair. “We want the wedding to be a comparatively private affair with relatives and close friends from both sides in attendance. It is not possible to have the wedding at our home. We chose a temple because it is a perfect place for matrimony,” Hema Malini had said earlier.

Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Abhay Deol with girlfriend Preeti Desai, Manoj Kumar, Vinod Khanna and Vyjayanthimala made it to the wedding.

A lavish reception will be held tomorrow. B-Town biggies are expected to turn up to bless the newly-weds.

Srimannarayana shooting complete !

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna’s new movie “Srimannarayana” had completed its foreign schedule. A fight and three songs were shot in this outing in Switzerland and Italy. With this the movie shooting is complete. The entire shooting of the movie is completed in under 70 days. The post production works of the movie will begin in July and the movie will hit the screens in August.
Parvati Melton and Isha Chawla are playing the female leads in the movie in which Balakrishna is playing the role of a journalist. ‘Samanyudu’ fame Ravi Chawali is directing the movie while Ramesh Puppala is producing the movie under Yellow Flowers banner. Chakri is composing the music.

The scrollers are mentioning that Namratha has delivered a baby girl. Well, here is the truth about it. According to a source close to the Ghattamaneni family, all those news are fake and there is still time for the delivery to take place.
It is heard that the delivery is expected to take place in the month of August so whatever has been coming in the TV news channels is just a baseless rumour. Maybe this is just another case of the electronic media over-enthusiasm to create some sensational timepass.

RC Fans not Happy with GS crossing Magadheera ?

It is heard that they are feeling quite uncomfortable due to ‘Gabbar Singh’ and its collections. The chances are that ‘Gabbar Singh’ might be crossing Charan’s ‘Magadheera’. As such, ‘Magadheera’ raked in Rs 82 crores and ‘Gabbar Singh’ has already touched Rs 78 crores.
The difference is hardly Rs 4 crores and film is still running with good occupancy in theatres. The market analysts say the demand for ‘Gabbar Singh’ will come down once ‘Eega’ arrives but by then it looks like it will be too late for ‘Magadheera’. Only the coming days will reveal who will have the last laugh.

Why Chandrababu & Jagan keep calm on Precedent Elections ?

Even as Pranab Mukherjee from UPA and P A Sangma from NDA — filed their nominations for the prestigious post of President of India on Thursday, Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu and YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy have not opened up on their support to either candidate.
Though both the parties have tentatively decided to support the candidature of Pranab Mukherjee initially, it appears they are just waiting for the each other’s moves in this regard. If the TDP extends its support to Pranab, then it would give an opportunity for YSR Congress party to reiterate its allegation that Naidu has a match-fixing with the Congress party.
On the other hand, if Jagan party makes the first move and extends support to Pranab, then Naidu can breath easy and he, too, can support Pranab, so that he would not get the blame of having match-fixing with the Congress. However, if Jagan party supports Sangma, then the TDP can blame it for joining hands with the saffron brigade and can either stay away from the Presidential elections or support Pranab. Thus, both the parties are playing hide and seek game!

Threat from KVP’s Relative on Jagan’s Case – CBI JD !

CBI joint director V.V. Lakshminarayana on Wednesday accused a close relative of senior politician K.V.P. Ramachandra Rao and the YSR Congress of threatening him while he was handling sensitive cases including Kadapa MP Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s illegal investments case.
In his complaint to the Central Crime Station on Tuesday, details of which were available on Wednesday, Mr Lakshminarayana stated that his cellphone call list was revealed by the YSR Congress on June 21 with mala fide intentions. He also said that the articles published in Sakshi newspaper and the news items telecast on Sakshi TV for hours together using his photograph were disgraceful and had harmed his image.
In the three-page complaint, Mr Lakshminarayana said he had been handling very sensitive cases like the Obulapuram mining case, the Emaar scam and Mr Jagan Mohan Reddy’s illegal investments case and added that since the arrest of the YSR Congress chief on May 27 by the CBI, Sakshi had gone on an overdrive to defame him and the agency.

Cong, TDP losing their existence in T – KTR !

TRS leader and Sircilla MLA K T Rama Rao has said that both the ruling Congress and the main Opposition TDP were fast losing their very existence in the Telangana region.
Talking to the media at Yellareddyguda on Thursday, KTR said that recent by-election results have proved this beyond doubt. He argued that people of the region no longer believing the sweet talk of leaders of these parties. He said that leaders of the two parties from the Telangana region should now either bring pressure on the Union government for announcing Telangana or close the shop in the region.
Charging that the Centre was adopting delaying tactics on the Telangana issue, he called upon all parties committed to Telangana to wage a united fight to achieve statehood.

Seems like, the majority of Congress leaders wants the change of leadership in Andhra Pradesh.
Chiranjeevi is a happy man now as his candidature for Chief Minister position is gaining good ground all around. Already MLA Jogi Ramesh said that Chiru is CM candidate for Cong in 2014 elections. Now, it’s the turn of Revenue Minister Raghuveera Reddy to extend his support. After meeting Sonia Gandhi at 10 Janpath, Raghuveera announced that he is ready to work under Chiru’s leadership if the High Command nominates him as CM.
Although Chiru said to media that there is no scope for change of leadership in the near future, Congress High Command is toying with the idea of change of leadership before 2014 polls. Congress by-poll victory in Narsapur and Ramachandrapuram constituencies is coming handy for Chiru. Party sources say, even Sonia is of the opinion that Chiranjeevi would be the better option for leading the party leaders and cadre, if the change of leadership is inevitable.

Navadeep is waiting for success for a long time, he is now actingin a new film titled Maitri. He is pairing up with Sada, one more heroine discarded by success for long long time. The regular shooting of the film started few days ago in Hyderabad. In this first schedule, the unit will complete few scenes on lead actors.
This film is being directed by Raj, a debutante director. Vikas is scoring the music for the film. After a long gap, Navadeep is acting as a single main lead and Sada is also doing a straight Telugu film after a long gap. Navadep is also working for another project with Shakar Marthand titled Poga.

Going in to details, Gabbar Singh fame Harish Shankar had narrated a script titled MLA (Manchi Lakshanalunna Abbayi) – a political film few years back. This was much before he has directed Mirapakay. However, the project did not materialize due to some unknown reason. Harish Shankar is now a top director with Gabbar Singh becoming a blockbuster and is now going to direct Tarak.
However, Harish Shankar clarified that this movie is not the ‘MLA’. NTR had made it clear that he wanted to stay away from political related subjects for a while. So, now Harish is reportedly doing an entirely different script for this film and is going to be a mass entertainer.

Puri Jagannath is all set to direct Stylish Star Allu Arjun for the second time in his career.Puri had earlier directed Allu Arjun in a movie titled ‘Desamudhuru’ which brought them reasonable success and now the duo are pairing up once again for a new movie. The movie will have its muhurtham on October 18th and will hit the screens on December 21st. Puri will complete the shooting of Cameraman Gangatho Ram Babu and will sit to prepare the final bound of this script. Ganesh Babu will be producing this movie on Parameswara Arts banner.
