Jagan’s No Support to Royal Telangana !

The YSR Congress chief Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has opposed the reported proposal of the central government to create Rayala Telangana, with two districts – Anantapur and Kurnool of Rayalaseema and the present Telangana region, minus Khammam district. It is also proposed to make Hyderabad as a Union Territory.

Though Jagan has no way of communicating his view to the media, it is learnt that he told his party men and family members including his mother and party honorary president Vijayamma to strongly oppose the latest proposal.

Jagan’s view have reflected in the statement of YSR Congress leaders MLAs Balineni Srinivasa Reddy, Chenna Kesava Reddy and former MLC Mohan Reddy who spoke to the media on Friday evening. They said neither the people of Telangana, nor Rayalaseema were favorable to the proposal. They said if the state was to be divided it should be in difference to the wishes of the people and not to favour some political parties, which have no future.

With Jagan, now a strong force in Rayalaseema taking deciding to oppose the Rayala Telangana proposal, there might be great trouble for the Congress party if the Centre tries to go any farther in the matter.

Chandrababu in Dilemma for Pecedent Elcetion !

Telugu Desam party leadership is still in a dilemma over whom to support in the Presidential polls. Chandrababu recently gave a hint that his party might extend support to UPA candidate Pranab Mukherjee, as taking PA Sangma’s side will send a wrong impression that TDP will form an alliance with BJP in future.

However, Babu’s decision is gaining severe cirticism from the party leaders itself. Some of the senior leaders questioned that how will TDP which is known for it’s anti-Congress stand could support the candidate of the rival party. TDP leaders have been criticizing that Jagan colluded with Kiran Kumar Reddy’s government and also predicting YSR Congress will be merge with Congress from the past few months. Now, if the same leaders vote for Pranab Mukherjee there is chance of losing credibility.

lthough some of the party leaders proposed the option of staying away from Presidential voting, Chandrababu hasn’t shown interest in that idea and he even announced that TDP willn’t boycott the polls. The Presidential polls have grown into a big headache for Babu, as which ever candidate TDP support they can’t escape from the brickbats.

Lagadapati Supports Chiru !

Andhra octopus Lagadapati started the ‘bhajana’ of Megastar quite well these days. His illogical linking of the future of Congress party with Chiru’s minister post is an extension to his ‘bhajana’.

Lagadapti predicted that the troubles of Congress party will come to an end if they give Minister Post to Megastar Chiranjeevi. Is anyone finding any connection between the post and politics in state? ‘Had we given Chiru a minister post earlier, we have won more seats in the recent by-polls’, says Lagadapati. With many MPs and Ministers seeing the proximity of Chiru getting some ‘bigger’ role in Congress, they have started flattering him by giving him a ‘demi god’ status.

Earlier MLA Jogi Ramesh and Minister Raghuveera Reddy have done the same thing by praising Chiru to a max. Looks like, our hero is getting a post in Manmohan Cabinet soon and hence this ‘bhajana’ by everyone to woo him. But too much of anything will taste bitter, and our Vijayawada MP should put a full stop to it!

Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara is the dream project of Manchu Manoj. He had devoted three years of his life for the movie. The movie is currently in the final stages of post production. Manoj is arranging a special show of the film today for his family to show his effort and win moral support from them. Manoj had undergone several physical injuries and pains while performing stunts in the movie besides he is action choreographer of the movie too. Deekshaseth is the love interest of Manoj in the movie while Panchi Bora has paired up with Balayya. Debutant Sekhar Raja has directed the movie. Rajamouli’s Brand value equal to star heroes !

Normally, only star heroes, who have got lot of craze, have their films released in 1000+ theaters.But a movie with zero star power is releasing in 1200 theaters. And incidentally it is biggest release ever for a movie in Tollywood. Yes, we are taking about Eega and the reason for the big release is the director Rajamouli carries almost the same stardom as any star hero of Tollywood.

Although Nani is the hero of the film, his role is limited in duration. Samantha is the female lead while Kannada hero Sudeep played the villain role in the movie. Nithin’s Courier Boy Kalyan Muhurath held !

Our readers are aware that Nithin is acting in a film ‘Courier boy Kalyan’ which will be produced by Gautam Menon.

The muhurtam of the film was held on Firday and the film’s regular shooting will begin soon. The film is a bilingual and the Tamil version has been titled ‘Tamila Selvanum Thaniyara Anjulam’.

Prem Sai who has worked as an assistant director under Prabhu Deva earlier, making his debut as a director with this movie. Music is being scored by Karthik. Santhanam will be playing a key role in the movie.Noted director Gautam Menon is producing this movie.

Eight Music directors for Vikram’s David !

Our readers are aware that Vikram is acting in a film titled David.Bejoy Nambiar, the director of David, has roped in eight music directors for the film. The film will feature original soundtracks composed by Prashant Pillai, Anirudh Ravichander, Remo, Modern Mafia and few others.

Vikram is playing the role of a fisherman in this film and Jiiva will be seen as a musician. Both of them are named David, although they live in different locations and in different timeline. The film also has two cinematographers – Rathnavelu and Sejal Shah who’ll be canning the portions of Vikram and Jiiva respectively. Lara Dutta, Tabu, Isha Sharvani and Nasser are playing important roles in the film. Getaway Films and Reliance Entertainment are jointly producing the film.

Ishq to be remade in Tamil !

Ishq is one of the hit films in first half 2012 in Telugu.Jayaprada’s sister’s son, A Rajasekhar, who had earlier directed Vishal, Nayanthara starrer Sathyam, is all set to direct the Tamil remake of Nithin, Nitya Menen starer Ishq.

The makers are trying to rope in Nithya Menen to reprise the female lead role. Vikram Kumar, who directed the Telugu version, is going great guns in Tollywood. He’s all set to direct ANR, Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya in a new film tentatively titled Threyam and it’s going to hit the floors later this year.

Boayapati’s Film with Ram Charan – ‘Ruler’

Ram Charan has given nod for Boyapati Seenu’s action entertainer ‘Ruler’, which was earlier planned with Mahesh Babu in the lead.

Reportedly, Mahesh has turned down the story narrated by Boyapati. Later, the director approached Charan with the same script and the actor, who has high regard for Boyapati’s knowledge about mass pulse and his presentation of high voltage action entertainers, has immediately okayed the project. This film will go to the floors after the completion of Charan’s films which were in the halfway of the shooting.

Whatever the reasons might be Mahesh Babu missed a superb title and this is surely not a good news for his die-hard fans. On the other hand, Mega fans has got every reason to smile now. For now, it appears ‘Mahesh loss is Charan’s gain’. But, only the Box Office result of ‘Ruler’ will decide who has taken the right decision!

Why Cong in Favour of Royal T ?

The Rayalaseema leaders, who revived the proposal for Rayala Telangana state as a solution to the vexed separate statehood demand, are learnt to have explained Sonia Gandhi that there would be immense benefits for the Congress if the proposal gets materialized.

According to their blue print, the Congress would retain its hold on the region subject to the merger of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi with it. There would be 147 MLAs and 21 Lok Sabha seats in the Rayala Telangana region. If it is formed into a separate state, the Congress would be able to get not less than 90-100 seats in the region, even if the TRS is not merged with it. If the merger takes place, the combine would get two-thirds majority.

Similarly, the Congress-TRS combine would get anywhere between 15-17 Lok Sabha seats in the region. Even if the Congress can get five Lok Sabha seats in the rest of the Seemandhra region (assuming that the YSR Congress party gets 15 Lok Sabha seats in the Seemandhra region), it would have a comfortable position in the Lok Sabha. That way, it would be a double benefit to the Congress.

On the other hand, the Rayala Telangana would also help bring down the influence of YSR Congress party and the Telugu Desam Party to only Seemandhra region (Coastal Andhra plus Kadapa and Chittoor), as they would have little presence in the Telangana region. One does not know whether the concept has appealed to party president Sonia Gandhi.

T-cong Leaders Says No to Royal T !

Making it clear that the Telangana Congress leaders will not accept Royala Telangana at any cost, Congress member of Rajya Sabha Palvai Goverdhan Reddy has said that the Congress high command has to clear the Telangana issue first, and then only take up issues like change of Chief Minister and other posts later.

Speaking to the media at CLP office here on Friday, Palvai has made it clear that AICC Chief Sonia Gandhi had no plans of changing the present Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy. He made it clear that Sonia Gandhi didn’t discuss this issue with any leader from the State. Change of guard is a mere speculation, he said. Sonia Gandhi was busy with the Presidential elections. He said that the Centre has to create the separate Telangana State with the existing 10 districts only.

Responding to questions on Party’s bye-election debacle, Palvai said that the CBI did a mad thing by arresting YSRCP Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, prior to the bye-elections. The Party also failed to face Jagan in a fitting manner and hence the party’s debacle.

Palvai has also opined that releasing of Nagarjuna Sagar water to Krishna Delta was not proper as the water in the Reservoir is at dead-storage level.

Decision on Telangana Soon – Chidanmbaram

Union Home Minister P Chidambaram has said that the central government would take a decision on Telangana as soon as possible.

Talking to the media as part of his weekly briefing, he said the Centre has been seriously considering the issue and would take an early decision. He said he has told the same to the public representatives from Telangana. He told the media that all the leaders from Andhra Pradesh, who met him, have been asking for an early solution to the issue.

Chidambaram has assured that there was no need for anyone to be anxious about solution to the issue. He has repeated his oft-repeated rhetoric that Congress and some other parties were yet to state their stand on the statehood issue. Chidambaram however said he could not set a time-frame for the decision.

Legendary music director had launched a scathing attack on choreographers who are trying to have their full grip on songs these days. Speaking to a Newspaper interview, he said, “Song is not all about dance as they think. Choreographers’ high headedness is the reason for it. Some directors and actors are giving too much of importance to these choreographers. It is not that I am against dance. I only oppose the opinion that song is all about dance”.

He also opined that Telugu music is facing the danger of extinction with too much emphasis is given for dance than lyric and tune. He feels that blind people are the only ones who take the song in the true sense. Keeravani is going to give a musical performance to blind people in Ravindra Bharathi

Brahmi’s Jaffa to Release Bollywood !

‘Comedy King’ Brahmanandam’s Jaffa will be releasing in Bollywood and Tollywood simultaneously. Comedian turned director Vennela Kishore is writing and directing the Telugu version of “Jaffa”. His friend and choreographer Sagar Das will direct the Bollywood version of Jaffa for which Kishore himself will be lending the story and screenplay. Sagar Das is a famous choreographer in Hindi and had supervised several dance numbers for many high budget films like Shahrukh Khan’s “Chak De India”and Mani Ratnam’s Raavan. This would be Sagar Das’s first movie as director. We need to wait and see what impact Brahmanandam’s Jaffa creates in Bollywood.

The movie will have simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil.

Esha Deol tied the knot with Bharat Takhtani in a South Indian style wedding ceremony at Iskon temple this morning. Esha looked pretty in a red bridal sari by designer Neeta Lulla.

Takhtani was clad in a white sherwani, also designed by Neeta. In fact, Hema and Ahana also donned ensembles by the same designer.

The wedding ceremony was a private affair. “We want the wedding to be a comparatively private affair with relatives and close friends from both sides in attendance. It is not possible to have the wedding at our home. We chose a temple because it is a perfect place for matrimony,” Hema Malini had said earlier.

Bollywood celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Abhay Deol with girlfriend Preeti Desai, Manoj Kumar, Vinod Khanna and Vyjayanthimala made it to the wedding.

Srimannarayana shooting complete !

Natasimham Nandamuri Balakrishna’s new movie “Srimannarayana” had completed its foreign schedule. A fight and three songs were shot in this outing in Switzerland and Italy. With this the movie shooting is complete. The entire shooting of the movie is completed in under 70 days. The post production works of the movie will begin in July and the movie will hit the screens in August.

Parvati Melton and Isha Chawla are playing the female leads in the movie in which Balakrishna is playing the role of a journalist. ‘Samanyudu’ fame Ravi Chawali is directing the movie while Ramesh Puppala is producing the movie under Yellow Flowers banner. Chakri is composing the music.
