Industry is abuzz that Krishna Vamsi’s upcoming movie ‘Paisa’ is the story of a young politician who rises to top positions with his dubious deeds. Some went on saying that the inspiration behind this movie is YS Jagan and his father late CM YSR. The film maker however clarified that this story is not about Jagan or any other politician in the state, though it deals with politics. ‘Paisa’ is the story of an young man who enters politics to earn quick money and the aftereffects he has to face.

Anyways, KV has finally realised his true potential after making a series of dud movies and is focusing his complete energies on this flick. Aditya 369 – A historical, science fiction wonder in Telugu cinema is one of the favorite film of Actor-turned-politician Chiranjeevi. Notably, it was the one and only film of Balayya that was being promoted by Chiru. As expected, minister for excise and prohibition Mopidevi Venkataramana was arrested by the Central Bureau of Investigation in the alleged illegal assets case of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy.

Though Mopidevi’s arrest was imminent, nobody expected that it would be done so quickly. He was asked to appear before the CBI for the second consecutive day and soon after his arrival, the CBI officials told him that he was being arrested. It was a rude shock to the minister, as he thought he would be let off for disclosing everything before the agency.

Mopidevi was the minister for infrastructure and ports in the YSR cabinet and had signed the controversial GO pertaining to the land allotments and other sops to VANPIC project involving industrialist Nimmagadda Prasad, the biggest investor in Jaganmohan Reddy’s business empire.

Soon after the media flashed the news about his arrest, his supporters enforced a bandh in Nizampatnam, his native village, in protest. All the shops and other establishments were forced to down the shutters.

Mopidevi’s arrest has definitely created panic among the other ministers who had signed the controversial GOs benefiting the companies that invested in Jagan’s firms. There are reports that the CBI officials might arrest a few more ministers, particularly Sabita Indra Reddy, Kanna Lakshminarayana, J Geetha Reddy and Dharmana Prasada Rao. And it would definitely have a terrible impact on the Congress party and its prospects in the next elections.

CBI and its notices are creating tremors in Jagan’s camp with the young leader trying to explore all the loop holes of law to escape from the clutches of investigation agency.

Fearing his arrest when he attends before CBI tomorrow, YS Jagan has filed anticipatory bail in the CBI special court. Jagan’s counsel cited reasons that Government is trying to prevent their client from continuing his election campaign by planning for his arrest. They also stated that CBI is doing this as a party of revenge drama initiated by ruling Congress party. As Court ordered CBI to issue notice to Jagan under CRPC 41A, the YSR Congress chief is worried that he will be grilled as soon as he enters the investigation agency’s office. However, the chances for him to get a bail are very low as per law experts.

Even if he gets a bail sanctioned by the court, Jagan cannot escape the questioning of CBI as Nimmagadda and Mopidevi are revealing vital information. Now Mopidevi too was sent behind bars. Rather proving his innocence by attending before CBI, Jagan’s moves to evade arrest are indeed proving that he is the master culprit, says a Telugudesam leader.

Currently he is having Mahesh Babu, Ram Charan and Allu Arjun acting in his production ventures. However, Dil Raju is finding it difficult to handle the available tight dates of these heroes. Most of his directors are sculpting scenes for days, which are making it difficult for our star heroes to cope up with bulk dates.

Already, Mahesh gave him a warning that he cannot accommodate dates if ‘Seethamma…’ movie goes beyond schedule. Insiders are saying that same is the case with Ram Charan who is doing ‘Yevadu’ for him now.
