Super Success Rajamouli had conquered one more frontier too. His latest movie Eega has stirred huge interest among the common audience in Tamil Nadu. PVP cinemas which had bought the Tamil rights of the movie for 5 crore, had striken gold by collecting 3.35 crore in the form of TV rights. The movie is reportedly getting huge offers from all the areas and is now releasing in as many as 300 theaters in Tamil Nadu.

The movie was shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil and will be releasing in early June. MM Keeravani is rendering music for this movie. The movie is being produced by Varahi cine chitra banner. Suresh Babu is presenting it.

 

Nandamuri Kalyan Ram is one hero in Nandamuri clan who impressed Telugu audience after NTR, Balayya and Junior. He bagged the much needed success with Athanokkade but could not sustain the success later. However, People close to the actor tell there is no scarcity of effort from him. He is now busy shooting for his next movie ‘OM’. The movie is going to be the first 3D movie in Telugu and is currently in the last leg of shooting. Popular cinematographer Sunil Reddy is yielding megaphone for the first time with this movie. The movie will hit the screens some time in the second half of this year.

Lets see if Kalyan Ram bags the much needed success with this movie.

SS Rajamouli had invested as much as 25 crore in making his latest release, Eega. He wanted to leave no leaf unturned to make the movie a big hit. He had planned to release the movie on 30th of this month. But the movie had faced the danger of competition in the form of Balayya’s Adhinayakudu. The movie had sorted out all the financial issues which are hindering the movie release and are trying to release the movie on 30th/31st of this month. Adhinayakudu makers have requested Rajamouli to postpone the movie to avoid the possile clash.

Rajamouli had responded positively for this ask and postponed the movie.However, Adhinayakudu producers have not declared the release date of the movie officially. We will have to see if they can make it on that date.

Do not read too much between the lines. We are talking about the TV telecast of Balayya’s Sri Rama Rajyam and Mahesh’s Dookudu. Both of them are scheduled to telecast on Sunday in Zee Telugu and MAA TV respectively. Maa TV had aggressively campaigned about the movie telecast for 1 week but backed off at the last movie sensing the danger of losing TRPS. MAA Tv had reportedly got reports that audience are interested in watching Sri Rama Rajyam than Dookudu. They might be in the danger of losing so much of TRPs which will not be good in MAA prospect as Dookudu is being aired on the TV for the first time. Also they have invested so much of money on Dookudu TV rights.

Also the advertisersof the telecast had reportedly threatened to back off as they could not get the required mileage for the amount they invest.So, MAA TV had no other option but to postpone the telecast to June 3rd and had instead telecasted Mahesh Babu’s Pokiri on Sunday.

Pawan Kalyan’s Gabbar Singh broke the all time first week record by amassing a mammoth total of Rs. 35 crores+ (approximate) share in the first week itself. Despite breaking all the existing records, Gabbar Singh numbers were not given to the press and media. Producer Ganesh simply stated that their film created a new record and didn’t announce the collection figures officially for ‘obvious’ reasons.

When a film breaks a record officially, what is the big deal in publishing the figures, unless the producer wants to cheat by paying less tax? Bandla Ganesh said that he learnt of being honest after meeting Pawan Kalyan. Then what happened to his honesty now? Isn’t it a crime to hide the genuinely earned income?

Pawan Kalyan fans have been complaining that Ganesh with the help of distributors is deliberately filling in less amounts in DCR to avoid taxes. Pawan Kalyan usually stays away from collections and records and even now he is not tracking the figures. Ganesh openly stated that he don’t want to announce the record amount for certain reasons. This is raising doubts over his loyalty towards Pawan Kalyan and his fans.

‘King’ Akkineni Nagarjuna’s big budget socio fantasy drama ‘Damarukam’ is finally back on track. The movie was earlier put on hold due to the differences between Nagarjuna and the producers. Finally, the issue is sorted out and is gearing up for release in the second week of July. Currently, Nagarjuna is dubbing for the movie. On the other side, graphics work is going on at full swing. ‘Damarukam’ has some extensive CGI and special effects involved and that is said to be the highlight of the movie.

Srinivasa Reddy has directed this movie while Dr. Venkat of R.R.Movie Makers is the producer. The movie has been made with a big budget which is said to be in the region of more than 30 Crores. Anushka is the female lead opposite Nagarjuna in this movie.

The shooting part of Manchu Manoj’s ‘Uu kodathara Ulikki Padathara’ is now complete. Natasimha Balakrishna is acting in an important role in this movie and the movie is in the last phase of production.The audio release of the movie will take place towards the end of the month and movie will hit the screens in late June.

Deekasha Seth will be seen romancing Manoj in this film. Dr Brahmanandam, Sunil, Sai Kumar, Prabu are other casting. Sekhar Raja is debuting as director with this film. Bobo Sasi is providing tunes for the film while Bollywood musical duos Salim-Sulaiman are scoring background music. Manchu Lakshmi Prasanna will also seen in a special role in this movie.

‘Uu kodathara Ulikki Padatara’ will have a simultaneous release in Telugu and Tamil. Sekhar Raja is debuting as director with this film. This experimental movie is presented by Padmasri Mohan Babu under the banner Manchu Entertainments produced by Lakshmi Prasanna.
