RGV scared of Jagan ?

Speaking to Press in Srikakulam, Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal has alleged that the YSR Congress president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has threatened his friend filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma, to remove scenes related to his character in Rakta Charitra,the movie based on the faction war between faction leaders Paritala Ravi and Maddelacheruvu Suri.

Rajagopal has said Varma has personally told him about this threat when he had released his book ‘Naa Ishtam”. He said Varma told him that Jagan said his character should not be found in the film ‘Rakta Charitra’ and bowing down to his threats, he had altered several scenes in the film.

A popular Telugu news channel had reached Ram Gopal Varma for clarification to which RGV backed his friend Raj Gopal’s allegations.

The 20 second teaser had received overwhelming response from all sections of the people. The chemistry between Victory Venkatesh and Superstar Mahesh Babu as brothers looks very promising, while Anjali and Samantha are looking impressive.

The film is being readied for a Dussehra release and Victory Venkatesh will be seen as Mahesh Babu’s brother in the movie.Dil Raju is the producer of this movie and ‘Kotha Bangaru Lokam’ fame Srikanth Addala is the director. Mickey J Meyer is scoring the music.

‘Chiyaan’ Vikram and Anushka starrer Thandavam shooting is progressing at brisk pace. Curently, the movie unit is in London for a month long schedule. Amy Jackson who is playing the second female lead in the movie had recently joined the movie shoot.The entire movie shoot will be wrapped up by June 12th and the movie will hit the screens in August. The movie is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil. Jagapathi Babu is playing an important role in the movie.

AL Vijay who earlier directed movies like Nanna and Madarasipattinam is directing the movie. GV Prakash is composing the music. UTV Motion pictures are producing the movie. C.Kalyan who produced several films like Rakta Charitra, Parama Veera Chakra, Khaleja etc had bagged the Telugu rights of the movie.

Sirish is aware of his limitations !

It is a usual practice that a star kids target commercial mass movies for their debut. So as to make the best possible first impression among the masses. But Allu Sirish, son of Allu Aravind and younger brother of Allu Arjun has some other idea. Unlike other star kids, he has opted for Gouravam which is going to be directed by Radha Mohan who is known for soft movies. Also no movie of Radha Mohan had worked commercially so far.

However, sources close to Sirish tells us that the actor know his strengths very well. He is not so confident of his dialogue delivery skills which is a prerequisite for a mass movie. Hence, he is planning to make a mark on audience with his soft skills.

Prabhas Varadhi title changed to ‘Rudra’ !

Like all those star-kids, young rebel star Prabhas is also trying hard to continue the legacy of his uncle. This is quite evident from his upcoming film and another flick is also following this now.

Prabhas is coming with ‘Rebel’ under the direction of Lawrence very soon. We all know where this title comes from. His uncle Krishnam Raju is popular known as ‘Rebel Star’. Now, sources are saying that another upcoming movie ‘Vaaradhi’ is also going for a title change. Directed by popular writer Koratala Siva this movie has wrapped almost 90% of shoot. Insiders are saying that ‘Vaaradhi’ is just tentative title and they are now considering an old title of Krishnam Raju’s movie.

It will be either ‘Rudraiah’ or a modern conversion of it, like ‘Rudra’. However, critics are saying that posh Teugu titles are not giving luck to Prabhas. English names like ‘Mr.Perfect’ and ‘Darling’ helped this macho man commercially at Box Office. Watch this space for more updates!

The audio release of Uu Kodathara Ulikki Padathara took place in Hyderabad yesterday. The theatrical trailer screened at the event had increased the curiosity on the movie. Few visuals and dialogues in the movie suggest the movie might have a close resemblance to Anushka’s Arundathi. Even though it might not be the same, the basic plot might be the same blood, gore, aghoras etc

If the director Shekar Raja can come up with a gripping narration, Manchu Manoj will get the much needed break. In addition, there is Nandamuri Balakrishna in the movie which will add muscle to the movie with Nandamuri fans backing too.

Eega postponed to July !

Tollywood’s most successful director S.S.Rajamouli is currently working on his dream project Eega. He tried his best to release the movie on March 30th, but the movie has been postponed to further. But this is not going to release in June also, Our sources tells us that the movie release might be moved to July. Audiences are eagerly waiting for this film, and there are huge expectations on the movie. Keeping all this in mind, Rajamouli is not getting compromised in the quality of the film.

Eega movie is based on graphically created Housefly and its revenge on the baddie in rebirth. Nani, Samantha and Sudeep are playing the lead roles in Eega movie. Samantha is playing the female lead. MM Keeravani has scored the music.

The first religion of Tollywood is none other than ‘cinema’. Now, there is a serious rise of the followers of this particular theme called ‘Pawanism’, making it the second largest religion of cine-folks.

From directors to actors to producers who worked with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan, it has become a habit to describe their hero as a God. If a couple of producers and directors say this, we can write off it as an exaggeration. What if, the whole of Tollywood’s folks keep chanting the word ‘Pawan’, making ‘Pawanism’ the second religion of Telugu Cinema Industry. ‘It is not because of his stardom, but due to his attitude and abnormal human qualities’, felt a film critic. People like Raviteja and Ram rose to stardom only after imitating Pawan Kalyan in their initial movies. Others like Ganesh, Harish Shankar and Karunakaran got their break only after associating with him and hence they show that extreme courtesy. Even audiences love Pawan Kalyan from the bottom of their heart and that is the reason for his flop movies to recover the full investment. They say it is difficult to peel out the reasons behind this craze for Pawan, but his positive energy and helping nature are one of the facts that create vibrations in the hearts of his fans. Brahmanandam’s Dream Project with Triple Role

News is that Brahmi is working on a special project wherein he would be seen in triple role. And here is the best part. The three roles would be that of grandfather, father and son. Not only that, the role of the son would be of a mentally challenged individual so it is more of a message oriented flick with entertainment.

It is heard that this is the dream project of Brahmi and he has been working on that since quite a while. Given the current demand for his presence in many movies and various other obligations, Brahmi is reportedly going at a slow pace but the day is not far when his dream project will become a reality.

Star Heroes making Films only for Fans ?

A look at the recent audio releases and the films releasing makes you clear about one thing, films are made for fans. But experts say that there is a difference between fans and audiences. Here goes the story!

Filmmakers like Boyapati and Harish Shankar recently gave statements that they are making films keeping the taste of fans in view to match their expectations. Are these directors and their star heroes distancing from audiences with these statements is a big question now. If only Mahesh fans had watched ‘Pokiri’ and ‘Dookudu’, both could not garner huge collections. ‘Businessman’ failed to recreate magic, because the film is intended only for fans. ‘Magadheera’ became a big hit only due to the viewership of all heroes’ fans but not just mega-fans. Irrespective of the mega-craze, ‘Racha’ is able to collect its investment back, but didn’t turn up a trend setter.

Critics say that directors should change their mindsets to make movies for ‘audience’ but not just for ‘fans’. With their fan-loving movies, industry will get work but it cannot get a page for itself in history. Till date, 2012 has not seen a proper movie that is loved by all sections of audiences. Let us see if any director could come up with a movie that everyone loves to watch!

Chiru got first win as Congress Leader !

Finally, the ticket is allotted to Venkataramana with a support from megastar and his associates like Botsa. Dammu ‘coloring’ to attract Family Audience !

The latest release ‘Dammu’ which has arrived with high expectations has evoked a lukewarm response. And the makers are doing whatever they can to revive the situation. In this process, one important factor has come to their notice. It is heard that the posters are causing a fear mania.

Apparently, ‘Dammu’ has got violence talk and due to A certificate the family audience is not being allowed in multiplexes across cities. However, it is not the case in stand alone theatres and B, C centers. But despite that the family audience is not keen on coming because the posters are reportedly sending a strong feeler of violence.

That’s why it is now heard that many places posters in towns and other cities are being replaced giving a family look to the film like ‘Brindaavanam’. Despite this, sources say that the famous Sudarshan 35mm theatre recorded only 50 percent collections on Monday. Let us see how things go from here.

However, the actress had reportedly turned down the offer as she felt she is too young to act beside Ravi Teja. This answer of the beauty had reportedly irked Ravi Teja who is fuming at the refusal. However, the makers of the movie had decided to move on and brought in Trisha and Kajal in to the movie.

Parul Yadav climbed up to fame with the song ‘Pyar agbittaathe..’ from Kannada film Govindaya Namaha. The song turned so popular like that of Kolaveri Di in Karnataka.Her attracted the eyeballs of Tollywood film makers with an appearance in a CCL match in Hyderabad.

Endhukante Premanta audio telecast irks TV viewers

The audio launch event of Ram and Tamannah starer Endhukante Premanta took place in Annapurna 7 acres on Sunday. Several bigwigs of Tollywood like Ram, Tamannaah, A Karunakaran, Sravanthi Ravi Kishore, G V Prakash, Dasari Naranaya Rao, Brahmanandam, Dil Raju, Srinu Vaitla, Ravi Teja, Shriya, Kajal, Bhaskar, Gopichand Malineni, Krish, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Allu Aravind, Gemini Kiran, Burugupally Shivaramakrishna, Santosh Srinivas, Gnanavel Raja, Chinmayi, Hemachandra, Geetha Madhuri and Ram Jogayya Sastry graced the event.

TV9 and Maa Movies telecasted the entire event live on TV. However, the telecast is a least memorable event for viewers, for every short period of time, the program was interrupted with so many ads., which annoyed the viewers who were watching the program. And more surprisingly, important guests of the function, hero RaviTeja’s speech and Allu Aravind’s speech could not be watched by the viewers because of innumerable ads. The makers are reported in talks with channels to demand compensation from them.

Chiru changes his mind on Mahesh Babu’s Request ?

The news of hero Mahesh Babu lobbying for his brother-in-law in connection with the Tirupathi MLA ticket has engulfed the state from the last two days. Is he touching Chiru to get that work done is a big question now.

Chiru’s meeting with minister Galla ArunaKumari to discuss about the political situation in Tirupathi is giving rise to many doubts. Analysts are saying that the meeting is intended for an understanding between Chiru and Galla for the ticket of Tirupathi constituency. Ravi Teja’s latest movie under the direction of ‘Solo’ fame Parasuram is all set to go on floors from 23rd of May. Kajal and Trisha are the heroines. Parasuram and Ravi Teja earlier teamed for Anjaneyulu movie but the movie failed miserably at the box office. The movie is tentatively titled Sir Ostara and is produced by Aswini Dutt under Vyjayanthi movies banner.

Ravi Teja is reeling under pressure of heavy flops. His movie Daruvu is gearing up for release in May and the shooting of his Devudu Chesina Manushulu is nearing completion and will release in June.
