Today, actor and producer Mohan Babu is celebrating his birthday. Film Nagar folks have identified a big-change in him this year both on personal front and on professional front!

On personal front, Mohan Babu stopped promoting his kids, if sources are to be believed. Even for his younger son Manoj’s latest flick Mr.Nookayya, the self-styled actor tweeted a couple of good things but hasn’t come before cameras to promote it. Likewise, he is not promoting any of the stuff made by Lakshmi Manchu too. While Vishnu is a different case as people are forgetting him any way, until he comes up with a swashbuckling movie, MB is not talking no more about him. Professionally, MB used to take potshots at different actors for different things and is famous for his press meets to make scathing attacks.

With many stunning happenings on AP’s political front, Mohan Babu’s silence is an utter shock for both fans and political circuits. Till now he hasn’t voiced his feelings for Congress people ditching his guru Dasari a Rajyasabha seat for his long time friend-enemy Chiranjeevi. S V Ranga Rao’s grandson makes debut

The legendary actor S V Ranga Rao has left an unforgettable impact on the lives of the Telugu audience. He was one man who could stand on par with the great N T Rama Rao and give a fitting performance. Now, the time has come to welcome the grandson of this iconic performer.

His name is Jr SVR and he is making his debut with the film ‘Mr Seven’. This is being directed by S R Charan Reddy and this si slated to be a high voltage action entertainer. Jr SVR is pairing up with a new beauty named Neelam Upadhyay. Incidentally, the film is being produced by SVR’s family.

Music is being composed by Munna Kasi and given the background of the debutante hero, the expectations are high. This is perhaps those rare situations where grandchildren from the black and white era actors are making their entry into cinema. Let us hope Jr SVR makes his randfather proud.

Shriya’s First hero died of heart attack!!

In what is being seen as a rather tragic and shocking incident, a young hero breathed his last. His name is Charan and he happens to be the hero of the film ‘Ishtam’ which marked the debut of Shriya into cinema. Sources say Charan complained of chest pain and was rushed to the hospital.

However, it is heard that he suffered a massive cardiac arrest and doctors at Apollo hospital declared him dead. ‘Ishtam’ was produced under Ushakiran Movies banner and it is not sure why Charan didn’t act in any movie after that. Reports say many Tollywood celebrities have begun visiting the hospital.

Though Charan may not be a known name, the age at which he passed away sure serves as a lesson to many who tend to neglect their health. This has come across as a sad news to many and we extend it heartfelt condolences to the family of the departed actor.

Balakrishna becomes villain and NTR a hero!

NTR, who invited Charan to Badshah launch, has invited Pawan Kalyan to Dammu audio launch it seems.

Pawan Kalyan generally doesn’t attend events of other heroes, but he obliges to the personal requests at times. Recently he graced the audio launch of Nitin’s Ishq. NTR personally called and invited power star to Dammu audio launch is what the buzz says. If that is the case then Pawan’s absence at Racha audio launch would be highlighted yet again.

NTR is maintaining good relations with all the mega heroes. He has been a good friend of Allu Arjun since many years and he is turning out to be the close buddy of Charan of late. The top rated and most wanted heroines of Tollywood at this moment are Samantha, Kajal Agarwal and Tamanna. Senior heroines like Anushka, Ileana, Trisha and Nayanthara too are in competition. There are few other ‘options’ left in the form of Shruti Haasan, Taapsee and Richa Gangopadhyaya.

However, the competition is primarily going on between Samantha, Kajal and Tamanna as these are the most preferred ones by many heroes. Their craze among the youth is also the prime reason for special focus on them. So with as many as ten heroes in the A league, almost all of them are looking to rope in these three heroines. This is turning out to be tough for these three as they are also busy in other languages. Adjusting dates between all their commitments is turning out to be hell of a task for them.

Slight changes in schedules are affecting their packed dairies pretty badly that they are feeling tremendous pressure. Right now the situation looks like a musical chair that they have been taking away each other’s offers as they are not willing to stay out of competition. But signing too many films is showing lot of impact on the respective films later. Time has come where Tollywood has to start hunting for some fresh talent. Shriya Saran made her stunts at the South box office for a decade, wooing everyone with her performance and skin show. But, 2012 became a dreaded year for her with two of her face saving flicks going flop way. One is bollywood movie ‘Gali Gali Mein Chor hai’ and next one is the recently released Telugu movie ‘Nuvva Nena’. More than movies’ content, her withered looks in a thin frame are not helping fans to think of her as a dream girl anymore.

On the flip side, Shriya is not at all interested in making public appearances to shout about her movie as that will at least bring her few more offers. Due to her supposed tiff with Allari Naresh, the once top-heroine is not making such attempts. Though there are reports that she is part of Sekhar Kammula’s ‘Life Is Beautiful’, no one knows when that flick will be completed by our ‘software’ director. With almost all offers reaching the dead-end, cine observers are saying that Shriya’s chapter is closed. The sexy starlet should be on high alert to make things go around!

No ‘Mahesh-Magic’ At National Level

Fans waiting for this Sunday from the last one week are disappointed at the end. Superstar Mahesh’s much hyped ‘Thums Up’ ad is aired today and here is the first talk about it.

Like all earlier ThumsUp ads, this too features the protagonist jumping from here and there by making the best use of this soft drink. What kicked a sparkle for Telugu people is Mahesh doing it for the whole nation this time unlike earlier where his ads are limited to Telugu channels.

However, the magic in Mahesh’s dialogue timing missed in the Hindi version of the ad, with someone robust voice doing the dubbing job for him. Otherwise, the ad would have been appealing to a certain level but the overall feel is still soapy. Previously, Akshay Kumar used to stun the nation-wide audience with his stunts for the soft drink company’s commercials. While Mahesh definitely looked new for the brand there is nothing like exceptional to feel about this.

If Power Star fans are expecting a commercial entertainer out of Cameraman Gangatho Rambabu, then get ready to be surprised with the film. Why because the buzz from film nagar says that CGR is a controversial film laced with Puri’s trademark entertainment. This film is going to expose the dark truths behind news media.

Puri Jagan has been toying with the idea of making a film which focuses on the inside scoop of news media. He narrated the idea to many heroes but none have really dared to be a part of it. Prabhas is one among those heroes who backed out of this film fearing the controversies. Prabhas chose to do Ek Niranjan over this script. Even Pawan Kalyan heard this script long back, but didn’t respond positively as he had few questions over the concept.

Puri worked on those and rewritten the script and this time Power star didn’t find any reason to reject it. However, the buzz says that the controversial aspect is still intact and once CGR hits the marquee we could expect a major controversy to hit the headlines. If this buzz has to be believed the sensation it could create with the name Pawan Kalyan attached to it will be unimaginable, isn’t it?

Jr.NTR-Charan Redefines Star-Friendship

They generally move friendly with another actor who is less of his stardom, but not with an equivalent. But, Junior shocked everyone by gracing the engagement function of Charan. More than his attendance, his close moving with Powerstar opened the eyes of many cynics who never want these two big scions (the Mega and the Nandamuri) to meet.

Today, Charan took his chance to show the value he gives for friendship. Junior’s prestigious movie ‘Baadshah’ under the direction of Sreenu Vytla is launched today and none other than Ramcharan clapped the muhurat shot. More than this, after the event got over, NTR has left the venue in Ramcharan’s car and the two alone. Young Tiger’s ‘Baadshah’ to begin!!

Young tiger Junior NTR has not been taking a break and is working nonstop. While he has reached the final stages of his new movie ‘Dammu’ here is another update. It is heard that Junior’s next project ‘Baadshah’ would be launched by March 18th. This would be directed by the jackpot hit director Srinu Vaitla.

The producer for this is Ganesh Babu and buzz is that the saucy seductress Kajal Agarwal is the leading lady. It is heard that only VVIPs have been invited for the grand launch and mostly Nandamuri Balakrishna would be the chief guest. This is slated to be a high voltage action entertainer.

The trio of Kona Venkat, Gopi Mohan and S S Thaman of ‘Dookudu’ fame would be teaming up once again for this project. The regular shooting will commence from April and it is heard that one schedule has been planned in Seoul, South Korea. This should be an interesting treat folks!!

The film that deals with the ups-downs of middle class relationships has vanished heroine Kalyani in the lead role, as this comedian’s wife. Naresh Gang Vs Prabhas Gang For MS

Strong grapevine is that both the gangs of these two star heroes are fighting hard in making movies. Especially a ‘Multi Starrer’ is about to come from these stars and hence this tussle.

Interesting both Allari Naresh and Prabhas wants to remake the same hindi movie into Telugu by altering the content a little. Super hit movie ‘Zindagi Na Milega Dobara’ is the run after flick by these gangs. Naresh wants to do that with himself, Nani and Tanish in the leads, while Prabhas is eyeing it for Allu Arjun, Manoj and him.

Till now, rights of the move are not bought by any Telugu production house and the makers are in talks with their Hindi counterparts to bag them. ‘I’m having a strong desire to act in multi-starrers and this is what our gang discusses when we meet for a casual tea’, Allari Naresh revealed. On the flip side, cine observers are saying that ZNMD will not work with the Telugu audiences for its sheer touch of western nativity and twisty screenplay.
