Nikhil haven’t had a great time with the BO after his debut flick ‘Happy Days’. Though some of his movies yielded silver for the producers, still he has to strengthen his position with this increased competition. He states that if too many movies release on the same date then the commercial success of those films will be affected. ‘Other than Yuvatha, none of my films have a solo release at BO’, says Nikhil.
However, a look at industry’s biggest hits reveals that all of them got released along with many other movies and have stood a winner. Critics say, if the film satisfies the audiences then every town and city had the capacity of showing more than 10 different flicks in different theatres. Let us hope Nikhil will get that much required hit through ‘Disco’ and stops giving ‘sollu’ reasons for flops!

Nandamuri fans upset with Jr NTR

The die-hard fans of Jr NTR are unhappy with their hero for drawing comparison with Superstar Mahesh Babu in every aspect. Right now, they are confused and trying to figure out whether its a media speculation or its happening in real!
“We (fans) want NTR to be numero uno, and strictly doesn’t want him to follow the footsteps of others. If the reports in media are to be believed, NTR seems to be comparing with Mahesh right from directors to remuneration and following his ideas. More than the fact that ‘NTR is not a No.1’, ‘NTR is following Mahesh’ is hurting us badly,” said a Nandamuri Fan.
However, the people who were watching NTR closely since many years have been defending the star saying whatever he does, the prime motto would be to entertain his fans and make them feel happy. “Firstly, fans should be patient. To reach to the top, one should analyse and estimate the capabilities/strenghts of people who were ahead of us. NTR is doing the same thing. Though the year 2011 is not a productive one for him as expected, NTR will come out with flying colors soon,” said a source close to the star.

Ram Charan’s upcoming movie Racha shooting is complete. The last song ‘ Cherry Cherry’ was shot on Charan and Tamannah in Pollachi. The movie is now all set to release on April 5th. The first chart of theaters in Nizam area is already out with an impressive 153 theaters.

Jagan accused No. 1 in CBI charge-sheet

The Central Bureau of Investigation on Saturday filed charge sheet against YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan Reddy in the alleged illegal assets case, including him as accused No. 1.

The CBI authorities filed its charge sheet against Jagan, his right hand financial advisor V Vijay Sai Reddy and 11 others, including individuals and firms, in the special CBI court in Hyderabad.

Jagan has been charged with offenses under different provisions of Prevention of Corruption Act, though there were no charges against him under IPC sections, including cheating, criminal conspiracy and breach of trust etc.

The 68-page charge-sheet charged Jagan with aiding his father Y S Rajasekhara Reddy. The charge sheet was supported by 263 documents and 66 witnesses.

Jaganmohan Reddy is accused no. 1, followed by Vijay Sai Reddy and suspended IAS officer B P Acharya and Jagati Publications, which runs Sakshi newspaper, as the co-accused.

Vijay Sai Reddy has been charged with offences of criminal conspiracy, cheating and under other provisions of IPC. Out of the 13 accused, only Vijay Sai Reddy has been arrested so far and is currently under judicial custody.

The agency had filed a case in 2011 on the directives by the High Court. Jagan’s assets last year totalled Rs 365 crores.
