Fan Flies to US for Dhurandhar 2 Uncut Version

Share

The craze around Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge, starring Ranveer Singh, is reaching extraordinary heights, turning the film into a full-blown fan obsession.

In a striking example of its massive popularity, a die-hard fan reportedly travelled all the way to the United States just to watch the uncensored version of the film. While the Indian release on March 19 runs for 229 minutes (3 hours 49 minutes), the international cut is said to include an additional six minutes—enough to inspire a cross-continental journey.

A social media user, Manali Dey, shared a video on Instagram revealing that she flew nearly 20 hours to California and waited four days just to catch the extended version on the big screen. She humorously mentioned that jet lag and logic didn’t matter, as those six extra minutes were her top priority, adding that watching the full version seems possible only outside India.

Set against a high-stakes backdrop of national security, covert operations, and cross-border threats, the film follows Ranveer Singh’s character Hamza as he dives deeper into a dangerous mission, uncovering shocking truths while facing life-threatening challenges.

The film has already crossed ₹400 crore at the box office and continues to dominate theatres. It has also received appreciation from several celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, Shilpa Shetty, Rajinikanth, Sidharth Malhotra, Allu Arjun, Mahesh Babu, and Ram Charan.

With fans now flying across continents for just a few extra minutes of footage, Dhurandhar 2 has clearly gone beyond being a blockbuster—it has become a cinematic phenomenon.

Charming Star Sharwanand is gearing up for the release of his sports-and-family drama Biker, which is set to hit theatres on April 3rd. As the release date approaches, the team has intensified promotions across key locations.

During a recent interaction with students at Madanapalle Institute of Technology & Science, Sharwanand delivered an inspiring and heartfelt speech. Reflecting on his journey, he revealed that he was just an average student during his younger days.

“When I was 17 and expressed my desire to become an actor, many people discouraged me. But today, standing here, I can proudly say I’ve completed 23 years in the film industry, and Biker marks my 36th film. I’m not saying this out of ego, but to inspire all of you,” he shared.

Speaking about the film, Sharwanand described Biker as a deeply emotional story and urged students to watch it along with their fathers. He emphasized that the film beautifully explores the bond between a father and son.

“I promised a Sankranti hit and delivered it. I’m confident I’ll deliver another success this summer with Biker,” he added with conviction.

With the teaser, trailer, and songs already generating a strong response, expectations surrounding Biker are soaring, setting the stage for a promising release.

Jagan Mohan Reddy Slams AP Govt Over ‘Jungle Raj’ Allegations

Share

Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party President Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has alleged that the state has descended into what he described as a “Jungle Raj,” claiming that law enforcement agencies are failing to protect citizens, especially tribals, women, and the poor.

In a post on social media platform X, Jagan Mohan Reddy said that emergency helplines are going unanswered, while “predators roam freely” and innocent lives are being lost amid what he called a lack of governance focus. He further accused those in power of prioritising “corruption, publicity stunts, and power politics” over public safety.

He highlighted the tragic case of a 17-year-old tribal girl, claiming she became another victim of systemic failure. According to him, the girl was taken from her family under the promise of education and care. He alleged that on March 22, a civil engineer approached her family in Hiramandalam, Srikakulam district, offering tuition support. The next day, she was taken to Visakhapatnam, where she was reportedly subjected to repeated sexual assault, and by March 24, her body was returned to her parents.

Jagan Mohan Reddy also alleged attempts to pressure the family into a hurried and silent cremation, raising concerns of a possible cover-up. He added that a post-mortem was conducted at the Srikakulam Government General Hospital after public pressure, while police initially showed no urgency and acted only after a complaint. He further claimed that no arrests had been made so far.

He also referred to a bus fire incident in Markapuram on Thursday morning, alleging that it exposed another failure of the state machinery, with delayed response leading to the loss of 14 lives. According to him, institutions meant to respond to emergencies have not acted effectively.

Criticising the current Chandrababu Naidu-led government, Jagan Mohan Reddy alleged that governance in the state has collapsed and that only “PR-driven politics” is being carried out. He further remarked that under what he termed “Red Book governance,” the police are functioning as “puppets” while citizens continue to suffer without protection.

Deccan Chargers Story: IPL Dream, Glory & Loss

Share

The Indian Premier League (IPL) has grown into a massive financial powerhouse, with franchise valuations reaching staggering heights. Recent reports suggest that Rajasthan Royals are valued at nearly ₹15,000 crore, while Royal Challengers Bengaluru commands an even higher valuation of around ₹16,600 crore.

When Vijay Mallya purchased RCB in 2008 for approximately ₹450 crore, the deal was widely questioned at the time. However, today’s valuations highlight the extraordinary returns early IPL investors have enjoyed over the years.

Amid these success stories, there is also a lesser-known and unfortunate chapter linked to a Telugu entrepreneur.

Tikkavarapu Venkatrami Reddy, once a prominent media baron and chairman of the Deccan Chronicle Group, entered the IPL during its inaugural season. In 2008, he successfully bid for the Hyderabad franchise for over ₹400 crore and launched the team as Deccan Chargers.

The franchise invested heavily in star power, assembling international cricket legends such as Adam Gilchrist, Andrew Symonds, Herschelle Gibbs, and Shahid Afridi.

After a disappointing debut season, Deccan Chargers scripted a historic turnaround by winning the IPL title in 2009, bringing glory to Hyderabad and shocking the cricketing world.

However, the journey soon took a dramatic turn. The franchise was later terminated by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), resulting in Venkatrami Reddy losing ownership despite strong objections from the management at the time.

This led to prolonged legal battles, with claims that the termination was unjust and influenced by powerful interests within cricket administration. A lower court ruling later favored the Deccan Chargers ownership and ordered compensation, but the franchise was never revived.

What began as a bold IPL dream eventually ended as a complex story of ambition, triumph, controversy, and loss for Venkatrami Reddy and the Hyderabad franchise.

RGV’s Shocking Childhood Dream & New Film Syndicate

Share

In a recent post, RGV revealed that when he was just around 10 years old, he dreamt of becoming an auto-rickshaw driver rather than a filmmaker. The fascination, he said, came purely from his love for the “vrooom-vroom” sound of the vehicle’s engine.

As he grew older, his aspirations kept evolving. At different stages of life, he wanted to live in a forest and later even considered becoming an engineer. Eventually, his journey took a decisive turn toward cinema.

RGV also reflected on the books and films that shaped his creative mindset. He credited authors like James Hadley Chase and Frederick Forsyth for influencing his storytelling sensibilities, along with iconic films such as The Sound of Music, The Exorcist, and The Godfather.

On the professional front, he revealed that instead of continuing with the Sarkar franchise, he is currently focused on a new project titled Syndicate. The film is based on a dark premise—imagining a scenario where law and order in India collapses within a single day.

Describing it as a “horror film without ghosts,” RGV said Syndicate will explore the terrifying depths of human nature when societal systems break down.

From dreaming of driving an auto-rickshaw to creating intense, unconventional cinema, Ram Gopal Varma’s journey continues to remain as unpredictable as his films.

Ram Charan’s Peddi Glimpse: Raw Power & Mass Hype Soar

Share

Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s birthday turned into a full-fledged celebration for fans and movie lovers as the team of his ambitious Pan-India project Peddi delivered a powerful surprise.

Coinciding with the auspicious Sri Rama Navami, director Buchi Babu Sana and producer Venkata Satish Kilaru of Vriddhi Cinemas unveiled the intense “Peddi Pehelwan Glimpse.”

From the very first frame, the glimpse hits like a storm. A gripping voiceover sets the tone, declaring that wrestling is not just a sport but a war of survival. The visuals immediately plunge into a mud-filled akhada where grit, pain, and raw instinct define every moment.

Ram Charan as Peddi undergoes a striking physical and emotional transformation, showcased through punishing training sequences—wall climbs, sandbag drills, and powerful gada workouts. Each shot reflects sheer determination and raw strength.

His sculpted physique and commanding screen presence dominate the glimpse, culminating in a fierce Hanuman-inspired stance that amplifies the mass appeal. The final punch lands with explosive energy, leaving a lasting impact.

Rooted deeply in the traditional sport of Kusti, the world of Peddi is brought alive with authenticity and grandeur through Buchi Babu Sana’s vision.

Technically, the glimpse stands tall with R. Rathnavelu’s rustic and immersive cinematography capturing the rawness of the arena, while A.R. Rahman’s pulsating background score elevates the intensity to another level. The production values remain top-notch throughout.

With the first shot glimpse and earlier songs already generating strong buzz nationwide, this latest glimpse further amplifies the anticipation surrounding the film, pushing the hype to a whole new level.

Kamal Haasan Eyes Film with Director Vetrimaaran

Share

Director Vetrimaaran is one of the most sought-after filmmakers in Tamil cinema, with many heroes—and even some Telugu stars—eager to collaborate with him at least once in their careers. Despite having a limited filmography, including acclaimed films like Aadukalam, Visaranai, and the recent Asuran, his movies consistently showcase intense storytelling. The leads in his films often deliver career-best performances, thanks to the depth and intensity he builds into his narratives.

Reports now suggest that veteran star Kamal Haasan may be teaming up with Vetrimaaran for an upcoming project. While Kamal already has his multi-starrer with Superstar Rajinikanth in the pipeline, he is reportedly seeking intense, performance-driven films, especially after the commercial disappointment of Thugs Life. However, Vetrimaaran’s current busy schedule may delay the collaboration.

At present, Vetrimaaran is working on Arasan with Simbu, followed by Vada Chennai 2 with Dhanush, and then Vaadivaasal with Suriya. If he decides to prioritize Kamal Haasan’s project immediately after finishing Arasan, the other films may have to wait. Yet, with producers in the Tamil industry increasingly strict about project timelines—even filing cases for delays—it remains uncertain when this exciting combo will materialize.

Ajay Devgn Faces Legal Trouble Over Bholaa Remake

Share

Ajay Devgn has often expressed interest in remaking cult blockbusters from other film industries, but these ventures have frequently brought unexpected challenges. Controversies seem to shadow many of his remake projects.

From creative disagreements to legal disputes over adaptation rights, the actor-director has repeatedly faced issues whenever he attempts to recreate a proven hit in Hindi. The latest controversy involves the Hindi remake of Karthi’s Tamil blockbuster Kaithi, putting Ajay in another tricky situation.

Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Kaithi was a massive hit and has been remade into several languages. The Hindi version, titled Bholaa, stars Ajay Devgn in the lead and is directed by him as well. Recently, the original production house, Dream Warrior Pictures, filed a complaint against Ajay Devgn, alleging that the Hindi remake exceeded the scope of the rights initially granted.

According to the complaint, the makers of Bholaa made significant changes that potentially breached contractual agreements related to adaptation rights. The production house has stated that if payments are not made within 30 days, the contract will be automatically terminated, and all rights to the film would revert to them. The team behind Bholaa has not yet responded.

This is not the first time Ajay Devgn has faced such issues. His remake of Drishyam also encountered creative and legal challenges, highlighting a recurring pattern with his remake projects. Bholaa was released in 2023, and a sequel is currently underway, keeping the spotlight on Ajay Devgn’s remake ventures.

Thiruveer Eyes Career Breakthrough with Papam Prathap

Share

Actor Thiruveer is gearing up for the release of his new film Papam Prathap, and his recent remarks during promotions have caught attention. Speaking candidly about his journey, Thiruveer opened up about the challenges he faces as a low-key actor, despite consistently delivering strong performances.

“Every alternate day, people ask me who the hero in my own film is. During Masooda, even a child artist thought I was just the driver,” he revealed, underscoring the struggles of talented actors who lack star power but deliver quality work.

So far, Thiruveer has faced difficulties in marketing his films effectively, mainly due to budget constraints from producers, which have limited the reach and visibility of his projects. However, things could change with Papam Prathap, which is backed by ETV Win. With a stronger platform supporting the film, there is hope for better promotions and wider audience reach, potentially giving Thiruveer a significant boost in his career.

The key question remains whether ETV Win will provide him the creative and promotional freedom needed to make the most of this opportunity. If supported well, this project could mark a turning point in Thiruveer’s journey.

Aditya Dhar Enters ₹1,000 Crore Club with Dhurandhar 2

Share

Director Aditya Dhar has now entered an elite league in Indian cinema. His latest film, Dhurandhar 2, is making waves at the global box office, smashing records one after another. Following a massive opening, the film has continued its dream run, becoming a blockbuster even before completing its extended 8-day opening week.

On Day 7, the film achieved a milestone by entering the ₹1,000 crore club, marking a historic achievement in record time. With this feat, Aditya Dhar joins S.S. Rajamouli’s league, delivering two ₹1,000 crore grossers worldwide in his short filmmaking career.

Dhar has built a strong reputation through his style of storytelling, blending intensity, scale, and emotion, which has earned both critical acclaim and commercial success. Despite having directed only three films so far, his impact on Indian cinema has been immense.

He made his directorial debut with Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019), which was a major success and established him as a filmmaker to watch. After a brief hiatus, he returned with Dhurandhar (2025), which also became a massive critical and commercial hit, reportedly grossing ₹1,354.84 crore worldwide. Its sequel, Dhurandhar 2, joined the ₹1,000 crore club on its 7th day, collecting around ₹1,029.49 crore worldwide.

Before Aditya Dhar, S.S. Rajamouli was the only Indian filmmaker to deliver two ₹1,000 crore grossers with Baahubali 2 and RRR. Dhar now joins this rarefied list, firmly establishing himself as one of India’s biggest commercial filmmakers.

Looking ahead, directors like Atlee, Nag Ashwin, and Nitesh Tiwari are expected to join this elite club with upcoming projects like AA22, Kalki 2898 AD Part 2, and Ramayana Part 1. For now, all eyes remain on Aditya Dhar, who has made his mark as a trailblazing force in Indian cinema.
