The hugely anticipated first list of the Telugu Desam Party and Janasena is announced by Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan today. The joint list gives an official update on the seat distribution aspect of the alliance.

Chandrababu announced that as a part of the first list, Telugu Desam Party announces 94 MLA seats while Janasena will contest in total 24 MLA seats and 3 MP seats, in which it announces 5 candidates today. He said the seat adjustment based on BJP joining the alliance will be settled in the coming days.

Janasena head Pawan Kalyan asked his party leaders should work tirelessly for the vote transfer to ensure JSP’s votes are transferred to TDP in the constituencies that JSP is not contesting. He said the aim of Janasena is not to contest in more seats but to contest seats that have the highest favorable percentage for the party. He said the 24 constituencies that JSP will contest has a 98% strike rate.

The first list has 118 MLA seats in total and the remaining 57 MLA seats will be announced in the coming days, based on BJP joining the alliance.

Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan pushed their motive that this alliance is not for the political gains of the two parties but for the greater good of Andhra Pradesh state.

Pawan Kalyan has locked the constituency that he will be contesting from in the coming elections. This has been confirmed by the first list of candidates from the TDP-JSP alliance that was announced today. This announcement from the TDP-JSP alliance confirms that Pawan Kalyan will be contesting from the Bhimavaram constituency in the coming election.

It is also confirmed that Nadendla Manohar will contest from Tenali constituency in the next election, much like how he did in the last election. Pawan Kalyan is again back at Bhimavaram constituency again after the 2019 polls.

This announcement has come as a hugely positive news for the JSP cadre in Bhimavaram. Pawan Kalyan will start his electioneering process soon and he will prepare the ground for his candidacy from the Bhimavaram constituency.

After several rounds of negotiations and much dilly-dallying, the TDP-Janasena alliance finally announced the list of candidates who will be contesting the forthcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh.

The announcement has caused heartburn to many leaders in the TDP camp while Jana Sena leader Pawan Kalyan is facing criticism for not living up to the expectations of the party cadre.

Ambati Rambabu

Reacting to the development, YSRCP leader and minister Ambati Rambabu said Pawan Kalyan has betrayed the trust of his cadre. He said JanaSainiks were hoping to get 60-70 seats but the party has been reduced to a laughable number of 24.

Terming Jana Sena shameless, he said Pawan Kalyan is now misleading his cadre by asking them to assume that they are contesting on 40 seats, while in reality, the party got only 24 seats. Describing it as Jana Sena leader’s failure, Rambabu advised Pawan Kalyan to go back to movie-making rather than holding Chandrababu Naidu’s palanquin in the elections.

“It is better for Pawan Kalyan to merge his party with TDP, just like his brother Chiranjeevi merged his Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress. TDP + JSP alliance is a big gimmick. Nobody has any clarity. They themselves are not sure whether the BJP is in alliance with them or not,” Ambati Rambabu said.

Another YSRCP leader Roja asked Pawan Kalyan if he could share the details of the package deal that he got for agreeing to settle for only 24 seats. She asked how much money did he get for insulting his party cadre?

She said JanSainiks are in a state of utter disbelief that their leader has bowed down to Chandrababu for just 24 seats and compromised the interests of the Kapu community. She added that even Nara Lokesh, who lost as an MLA in 2019 elections, got a ticket in the first list but not Pawan Kalyan.

“You don’t have the courage to fight CM Jagan alone, hence you cobbled up an unholy alliance. Even though so many days have passed, still there is no clarity. The confusion over seat distribution is so evident. The collapse of TDP-JSP is imminent,” Roja asserted.

The Uppal police have arrested Bhogireddy Trishna, a young entrepreneur, for allegedly kidnapping television channel anchor Pranav. The incident, which shocked the entire city, occurred when Trishna fell in love with Pranav’s matrimony profile created by online scammers.

Running a digital marketing company and founding five start-up companies, Trishna fell for Pranav’s profile on online matrimony portal. However, it was eventually discovered that Pranav’s images and personal data had been used without permission to create a fictitious profile. Despite this, Trishna chose to approach the anchor after growing fond of him.

The situation took a drastic turn when Trishna allegedly kidnapped Pranav, leading to his escape. Following Pranav’s complaint and subsequent injuries sustained during the ordeal, authorities acted promptly.

When Trishna was questioned, she claimed to have given Pranav a large amount of money, but the authorities could find no proof to back up her claim. Malkagijiri’s ACP Purushottam Reddy emphasized that Pranav was not at fault in this situation.

Trishna may now be subject to legal action for her actions while the investigation is ongoing, and law enforcement officials are still focused on determining the motive.

BRS MLA G Lasya Nanditha, who met with a fatal road accident today, failed to wear a seat belt. According to reports, not wearing seat belt caused her death. Nanditha died in a road accident on the Outer Ring Road in Telangana’s Sangareddy district, on the outskirts of Hyderabad. The 37-year-old, a first-time MLA from Secunderabad Cantonment, suffered serious injuries after her vehicle lost control and collided with the road divider. While Nanditha sustained fatal injuries, her driver and personal security officer (PSO) are in critical condition.

Born in 1986 in Hyderabad, Lasya Nanditha, daughter of BRS MLA Sayanna, had previously served as a corporator from Kavadiguda since 2016. Her father, G Sayanna, passed away due to ill health in February last year.

Sangareddy Superintendent of Police CH Rupesh said, “Lasya Nanditha was travelling from Basara towards Gatchibowli. It is suspected that the driver may have fallen asleep at the wheel. The vehicle sustained significant damage to the front side. Additionally, her personal security officer was injured in the accident. Initially, she was taken to a private hospital, where she was pronounced dead. Her body is being shifted to a government hospital for a PME.”

This devastating news comes as a double blow, following a similar accident just ten days prior. On February 13th, Nanditha’s car was involved in another collision, tragically claiming the life of her Home Guard escort. Remarkably, she emerged from that incident with minor injuries.

Additionally, in December 2023, Nanditha was trapped in a malfunctioning elevator, highlighting a string of close calls in recent months.

KCR’s daughter and BRS MLC Kavitha has been added as an accused in the ongoing Delhi Liquor case by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). The CBI summoned Kavitha to appear for a hearing on the 26th of this month after sending her notices. This action is the result of prolonged investigation and questioning by the investigating agency.

Kavitha, along with Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal, faces the possibility of arrest.
