Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’ Gets Golden Globe Nominations!
After ‘Baahubali’, Rajamouli’s craze touched the sky and ‘RRR’ took it to a whole new level. Now, many say that he has the craze and potential to be a Hollywood director. Compared to us, they are far superior when it comes to making techniques and standards. But Rajamouli is getting plaudits that he is the only Indian director that can match the English flicks with his brilliant storytelling abilities. Everyone is praising Rajamouli for his flawless track record.
His ‘RRR’ got UK’s BAFTA nominations and Rajamouli recently won the New York Film Critics Circle award in the Best Director category. As it was released on Netflix, the movie became instantly popular in the international market too. Hard work never fails and it gifts you great results. ‘RRR’ collected around 1200 crores and is aiming to grab the Oscars. He is campaigning for the film cleverly by touring across the world and attending screenings. Due to his efforts, the movie is getting discussed about everywhere.
Now, his magnum opus got nominated at the Golden Globe Awards in two categories. While the first one is in the ‘Best Picture’ (Non English Language) category and ‘Best Original Song’ (Naatu Naatu). Just getting nominated for the Golden Globe Awards is a huge achievement and imagine if the films one of them! Let us not get ahead of ourselves and wish for the best. It looks like ‘RRR’ team is not going to stop breaking records any time soon.
‘RRR’ is produced by DVV Danayya on a budget of over 400 crores. The lead actors delivered spectacular performances and MM Keeravani is the music composer who is one of the main pillars in the film’s success. Alia Bhatt is playing the role of Sita in this film while Ajay Devgn appears in a brief role. Olivia Morris is also a part of the film and she looked very cute.
Apart from a few noted Hollywood actors, ‘RRR’ has actors like Shriya Saran, Rajeev Kanakala, Samuthirakani and others did key roles. NTR will be seen as Komaram Bheem while Ram Charan plays the role of Alluri Seetha Ramaraju in this massive film which is set in the backdrop of the pre-Independence era. Both of them are enjoying the humongous success of this pan-Indian film. Senthil Kumar is the director of photography while Sabu Cyril is the production designer. Srinivas Mohan is the VFX supervisor for this huge project. Rama Rajamouli is the costume designer.
Deceased Actor’s Former Rented House Lying Vacant!
Bandra is one of the most costly areas in Mumbai and most of the Bollywood stars live there. As the city has a beach everyone wants to live in a sea-facing house and the majority of stars in Bollywood have such houses. One has to spend lakhs of money on rent there.
One such house is in the news now as no one is daring to take a house on rent earlier used by a star. As the house is the same one in which Bollywood star Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead it s lying vacant as people are not showing interest on the house.
It is known that Sushant was found dead at his sea-facing apartment in Bandra. It is not his own house and he took the house on rent for two and half years. The rent amount is in lakhs. This reason is making the house a scary one with no tenants showing interest.
It’s been more than two years since the star lost his life. The ED and CBI probe is going on and there are a few doubts that Sushant might have not taken his life as he is a very strong person.
However, the flat he took on rent is still vacant as no one is showing interest. A real estate agent who was approached by the owner of the house said that people are not showing any interest in the house due to Sushant. Saying that people are not talking about death anymore he maintained the fear in people’s minds is still intact.
Telangana’s Daughter Will Not fear ED or CBI!
The sensational liquor scam in Delhi took an unexpected turn after Telangana Chief Minister KCR’s daughter Kavitha’s name popped up. Her name was mentioned in the report and she also received notices from the CBI for questioning. She faced questioning the other day.
The CBI officers reached Hyderabad and went to her house for questioning. The questioning session lasted for a few hours and by the evening of Sunday the officials left her house and no one knows what are the questions the CBI shot at Kavitha.
Kavitha reacted to the CBI raids and said that Telangana’s daughter will not fear the raids. Saying that the central agencies start raids and question those who question the Union government and the same is happening in Telangana as well. She said that she will not fear such things.
Telangana Jagruthi meeting happened in Hyderabad and Kavitha graced the event. Addressing the gathering, Kavitha said that very few raise their voices against the atrocities of the BJP and the TRS is among them. Having said that Kavitha accused the BJP of toppling the governments which are elected democratically.
Alleging that those who raise their voices against the BJP are facing such questioning, Kavitha said that the youth should be cautious about this. The former MP also said that if we safeguard the system then it will protect us. She also gave a call for a big fight across the nation as happened for Telangana.
Can Russia’s Decision Reduce Fuel Prices In India?
Though the ongoing war was started between Russia and Ukraine, it later placed the whole world against Russia. Not happy with the war waged by the superpower nation, one after the other almost every country started demanding Russia stop the war.
The countries even imposed many sanctions against Russia and started charging big amount for the crude oil Russia is supplying. While the supply charges and others were increased, a cap was imposed on the fuel price by the western nations.
In the whole episode, if there is any nation that stood in solidarity with Russia, then it is India. We not only stayed away from voting against Russia at the United Nations General Assembly but also did not stop buying oil from there. Despite America and others trying to stop India we did not
The Indian government backed the decision and said that it is putting the interests of the people and nation on top of everything and it is not feeling bad about this. On many occasions, Minister of External Affairs of India Jaishankar also supported this.
Now Russia is all set to give a return gift to India by helping us in bringing down the oil prices. Deputy Chairman of the Government, Alexander Novak held a meeting with the Indian ambassador to Moscow Pavan Kapoor recently amid the sanctions imposed by the west.
The Russian Embassy said that Russia decided to build ships with a large capacity of fuel so that the sanctions imposed by the G-20 nations will not impact.
“In order not to depend on the ban on insurance services and tanker chartering in the European Union and Britain, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Alexander Novak has offered India cooperation on leasing and building large-capacity ships,” the embassy said.
Happy Ending For Janasena In ‘Varahi’ Registration Controversy!
Actor-turned-politician Pawan Kalyan will start his Bus Yatra in Andhra Pradesh soon. For this, a specially designed bus was prepared. More than the yatra, the colour of the vehicle and the controversy surrounding it became a big topic. The YSRCP got a big opportunity to target Pawan Kalyan.
A few legislators including former Cabinet Minister Perni Nani came down severely on Pawan Kalyan and said the green colour is not meant for civilian vehicles and Pawan would have known this earlier. The topic became a big issue between the ruling YSRCP and Janasena.
Amid this, the issue took a big turn and the vehicle registration has been finished. As the vehicle underwent changes and modifications in Hyderabad the registration happened in Telangana. The Telangana RTO gave clearance and the vehicle registration is also completed as per the reports.
Media reports say that the vehicle registration was completed a week ago and the vehicle was allotted TS 13 EX 8384. After examining the vehicle the officials reportedly found no violations and said the same when the media asked about the same.
Telangana Deputy Transport Commissioner Papa Rao said that Varahi is emerald green colour and not Olive Green as being said. He also said that the vehicle registration was done as per the rules and there are no violations. The official said that Varahi was registered as a caravan vehicle.
This is a big relief for Janasena amid the controversy. With the YSRCP attacking him on the vehicle, Pawan Kalyan took to Twitter to take a dig at the ruling party. Sharing a picture of a green shirt he asked if he will be allowed to wear it or not.
