New Idea Will Damage Exhibitors, Distributor System: Natti Kumar!
Natti Kumar expressed his dissatisfaction with the idea proposed by the Andhra Pradesh government to let people watch films on the fiber net on release date. The new service will be inaugurated on Friday in Vizag. The announcement made by AP Fiber Net Chairman Gautam Reddy shocked the Tollywood industry. Everyone is surprised by the doubt of how films will be made available on the release date. Producer Natti Kumar reacted to the issue.
“AP Government is saying that it is bringing a flagship service on film releases which is not available in the country. I am opposing this as a producer, exhibitor, distributor, and Telugu Film Producers Council Joint Secretary. How the decision can be taken without consulting the industry, producers council, and film chamber? In 2013, the idea of releasing movies on release date on Airtel DTH was proposed in 2013 and this did not see a success,” he said.
“How the idea will be successful without the producers coming forward? The new idea appears that would damage the exhibitors and distributors’ system. Besides exhibitors and distributors a major share of producers are also against this. AP Film Development Corporation Chairman Posani Krishna Murali is a member of the film industry. Despite this no meetings were held to discuss the idea which is a shock,” he asked.
The exhibitors’ system is already affected and the new proposal would push the system into a deep crisis. No film producers and industry members were invited for the inauguration and only Ministers Gopalakrishna, Gudivada Amarnath, F.D.C Chairman Posani, Sudarshan Reddy, and others are attending. It is a shock that the inauguration will be made without industry members. I am requesting the CM to rethink the issue, he added.
Time For Small Films To Test Their Luck At The Box Office!
With ‘Adipurush’ ready to hit the screens on 16th June, the big filmmakers are trying to give some space to the gigantic flick. In the meanwhile, there are some small films that are going to test their luck at the box office this weekend. There is no guarantee of any film getting huge opening day numbers. The first in the list is Bellamkonda Ganesh’s ‘Nenu Student Sir’. The movie does have a decent buzz and the team has promoted the film well on all social media platforms. The story is interesting and the trailer generated a good buzz too. With a new concept, we need to see how talk is going to be on day one.
After a lot of delays, Daggubati Abhiram’s debut flick ‘Ahimsa’ is going to hit the screens. Produced by Anandi Arts Creations and directed by senior director Teja, this film is a love drama. There are no big names in the film but the Daggubati brand has surely helped in creating some noise and we need to see if Teja recreates some of his old magic with this fresh cast or not.
There is another film named ‘Pareshaan’ which is arriving this weekend and ‘Masooda’ fame Thiruveer is playing the lead role. Interestingly, Rana is the presenter for this film. He is releasing this film in competition with his brother’s debut film which is quite interesting. The movie does not have any buzz or hype and we need to wait and see if it attracts any film lovers or not.
There are other small films like ‘Chakravyuham’, ‘IQ’, ‘Abhilasha’ and ‘Bangaru Telangana’. There is ‘Spiderman Across The Universe’ arriving this weekend too and the multiplex audience are drawn towards it. In Hindi, Vicky Kaushal and Sara Ali Khan’s ‘Zara Hatke Zara Bachke’ is releasing but we don’t how the audience are going to receive it. Overall, it looks like another dull weekend at the box office.

అత్యాచారాల కేసులో దట్ సెవంటీస్ షో నటుడు డానీ మాస్టర్సన్కు 30 సంవత్సరాల జైలు శిక్ష పడింది. ముగ్గురు యువతులను అత్యాచారం చేశాడని అతనిపై కేసులు నమోదైన సంగతి తెలిసిందే. అందులో ఇద్దరు మహిళలు చేసిన ఆరోపణలు కోర్టులో రుజువయ్యాయి. మరో కేసు వీగిపోయింది. తనతో షోతో ఆకట్టుకున్న ఈ అమెరికన్ నటుడు శిక్షను ఎదుర్కొవాల్సి వస్తోంది.
డానీ మాస్టర్ సన్ 2001లో తనపై అత్యాచారం చేశాడంటూ 23 ఏళ్ల యువతి ఫిర్యాదు చేసింది. 2003లో 28 ఏళ్ల యువతిపై డానీ మాస్టర్ సన్ అత్యాచారానికి పాల్పడగా 2003 చివర్లో మరో యువతిని ఇంటికి పిలిచి మరీ అత్యాచారం చేసినట్లు ఆరోపణలు వచ్చాయి. ఈ నటుడిపై మొత్తం 3 కేసులు నమోదయ్యాయి.
2020 జూన్లో ఈ కేసులపై విచారించిన న్యాయస్థానం డానీకి జైలు శిక్ష విధించింది. అయితే 3.3 మిలియన్ డాలర్లు చెల్లించిన డానీ అదేరోజు జైలు నుండి విడుదలయ్యాడు. తాజాగా మరోసారి విచారణను ఎదుర్కున్నాడు. సాక్ష్యాలను పరిశీలించిన కోర్టు డానీ నేరస్తుడుగా పరిగణించింది.
దీంతో ఆయనకు 30 సంవత్సరాల జైలు శిక్ష విధించింది. 2001 2003లో నమోదైన రెండు కేసుల్లో ఆయనకు ఈ శిక్ష విధించారు. 2003 చివర్లో ఓ యువతిని హాలీవుడ్ హిల్స్లోని తన ఇంటికి తీసుకెళ్లి అత్యాచారం చేశాడన్న ఆరోపణలో మాత్రం ఎటువంటి ఆధారాలు లభ్యం కాకపోవడంతో ఈ ఒక్క కేసు వీగిపోయింది.
న్యాయస్థానం తీర్పు వెలువరించే సమయంలో డానీ మౌనంగా ఉండిపోయారు. ఆయన భార్య నటి బిజు ఫిలిప్స్ మాత్రం కోర్టులోనే బోరుమని ఏడ్చేసింది. లైంగిక వేధింపుల ఆరోపణ కారణంగా నెట్ఫ్లిక్స్ 2017లో ద రాంచ్ అనే కామెడీ షో నుండి డానీ మాస్టర్ సన్ను తొలగించిన సంగతి తెలిసిందే.

‘Swayambhu’ First Look: Nikhil Stuns The Audience As Ferocious Warrior!

‘Mem Famous’ Surpasses Expectations and Emerges as a Clean Hit
Despite receiving mixed reviews from the beginning, ‘Mem Famous’, starring Sumanth Prabhas and produced by Chai Biscuit Films, has defied the odds and surpassed expectations.
The film was released on May 26 and managed to generate impressive collections despite the initial mixed talk. Within just six days, ‘Mem Famous’ grossed Rs. 4.59 crores, with a share of Rs. 2.23 crores.
This outstanding performance solidifies its status as a clean hit and adds to the list of successful films in Tollywood for 2023, marking it as the 13th hit movie of the year.
According to trade sources, ‘Mem Famous’ needed to collect a share of Rs. 2.20 crores to achieve hit status, and it surpassed this target in a remarkably short time. The entire film unit is elated with the film’s success, which clearly indicates that it has struck a chord with the audience.
