After creating a light-hearted fun series like ‘Save The Tigers’ for Disney+Hotstar, supremely talented filmmaker Mahi V Raghav is gearing up with something different this time. He has entered the crime scene this time and made a full-length crime drama titled ‘Shaitan’. The makers have announced that the show has cuss words and heavy violence thereby suggesting everyone to watch with extreme caution.
‘Shaitan’ is a gut-wrenching and hard-hitting revenge drama which is written and directed by Mahi V Raghav. It features Rishi, Shelly, Deviyani and Jaffer as the lead cast and the series revolves around the socio-political events that led to the rise and downfall of a criminal Bali and his family. Why did they choose this path of survival forms the rest of the story.
‘Shaitan’ has unprecedented violence and bold content that is very disturbing. For the first time in a Telugu web series incidents are shown in a gruesome way that are scary and will send chills down your spine. This show will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar from June 15th and the posters create a lot of curiosity.
Writer-director Mahi V Raghav made his foray into Tollywood with a soulful film like ‘Paathasaala’. He made a successful horror-comedy like ‘Anando Barhma’ before creating a huge impact with ‘Yatra’. He took the monumental ‘Paada Yatra’ from late politician Y S Rajasekhar Reddy’s life and made a touching film. He is focusing on web series lately and this is his second one for this OTT platform. There are discussions going on that he may start working on ‘Yatra 2’ as well.
