26/11 Attacks: All Clear For Extradition Of Terrorist!

India faced many terror attacks in the recent past. But the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008 will remain horrific as a series of attacks were planned. In the same attacks, we also lost our hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan who made the ultimate sacrifice while saving the occupants at the Taj Hotel.

The Indian government is trying its best to extradite those who are involved in the attacks. The efforts paid off as a court in the United States accepted the request. As the court gave its order, the suspect who is said to be the plotter of the attacks would be deported soon.

Pakistan-born Canadian man Tahawwur Rana is facing charges that he has a role in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks in 2008 and he is the plotter of the attacks. A lower court in America said that it had reviewed all the documents and it is giving its nod to extradite Rana.

The Secretary of State of the United States was also notified about this. US District Court Central District of California looked into the request and gave the orders. The orders were given in the name of Judge Jacqueline Chooljian, US Magistrate Judge.

The link between Tahawwur Rana and the terror attacks is that he is a friend of Headley, an American citizen. Headley was arrested in 2009 for his role in the 2008 Mumbai attacks. India has been arguing that Rana would have known about the plans due to the friendship between them.

Rana was also arrested by the American authorities. After arresting Headley, he was grilled, and based on the information he gave they nabbed Rana in 2009. A few years later he was convicted of providing material support to the LeT. Rana was slapped with a jail term based on Headley’s testimony as a government witness.

The request to extradite Rana to India was made by the government back in 2020. The newly elected Joe Biden administration accepted the request. However, it took around three years long as the procedures have to be followed. Finally, Tahawwur Rana was allowed to be extradited to India by the court.

In what could be a shocking incident a teenager fell unconscious while playing with his friends. He was taken to the nearby hospital for treatment. But to everyoneâ€™s surprise, the teenager was declared dead. Seeing an 8th-class student passing away shocked everyone, the reason was even more shocking.

As per the media reports, the student reportedly died out of cardiac arrest. He is just 15. This is said to have happened at the Gautambudh Nagar school in Noida. The victim was reportedly identified as Rohit Singh. When he was playing with his friends he fell and many felt that dehydration might be the reason.

But taking him to the hospital changed the whole story and doctors said that he passed away already and cardiac arrest is the reason behind this. To get more information, his body was sent to the postmortem and further details are awaited.

Usually, elder people sustain cardiac arrest. But the trend has changed in India which is concerning. People in the ’40s and ’50s are also sustaining cardiac arrests. We have seen this with Many celebrities in India. Be it Puneeth Rajkumar, Sidharth Shukla, and others passed away suddenly despite having a healthy lifestyle.

But things have become even more complicated and people in their teenage and who are less than 30 are also sustaining sudden deaths. Earlier we have seen how a young police constable passed away while doing gym. He complained of uneasiness like Puneeth and passed away.

In another unfortunate incident, a student passed away suddenly while walking. He fell in the college corridor and there is no movement. These are just a few incidents that were reported and there could be several others that were not reported.

Irrespective of age, people are breathing their last. Of late, we are hearing that people are passing away while dancing at functions. This tells us that age cannot define whether one can sustain a sudden heart attack or cardiac arrest. Many factors determine this.
