Young and adorable girl Krithi Shetty made a stellar debut in Tollywood with ‘Uppena’. Her charm and beauty stole the hearts of many youngsters in Telugu states. The film was so successful and Krithi became the most wanted heroine within a short time. But all the films she did after ‘Uppena’ failed to succeed at the box office. She acted beside Nani in ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ which performed decently. Her next film ‘Bangarraju’ was a good success as well.
Many expected her to become the next big star heroine in Tollywood but everything started going downhill after that. She acted in Tamil-Telugu bilingual ‘The Warriorr’ which was released with good expectations. The film ended up as a big failure and just like her earlier films, she did not have much to do in the film apart from sizzling in songs. ‘Macherla Niyojakavargam’ with Nithiin turned out to be a huge disaster. Apart from not getting commercial success, Krithi Shetty is also being criticized for being expressionless in a lot of films. Her ‘Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali’ with Sudheer Babu turned out to be a disaster as well.
She pinned a lot of hopes on Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Custody’. She hoped to get back on the success track with this movie. She got a meaty role in the film too but the audience did not like the movie. It is expected to end up in huge losses. People are criticizing the beauty that she is signing films at a rapid pace and not paying attention to the scripts. They are suggesting that her career may fade away quite quickly if this continues.
Her next film is with Sharwanand under the direction of Sriram Adittya. There are good expectations over this combination. In Tamil, Suriya is making a pan-Indian movie and Krithi Shetty has been confirmed as the heroine in it. This movie will go on floors once Suriya completes his movie with director Siva. She has another project as well. She is the heroine in Malayalam hero Tovino Thomas’ upcoming pan-Indian flick which is in the shooting stage. Mythri Movie Makers are entering the Malayalam film industry with this film. Let us see if she gets success in other languages at least or not.
