‘Citadel’ Trailer: Priyanka Shines In A Slick & Racy Spy Thriller!
The much-awaited Amazon Prime Video series ‘Citadel’ is finally arriving on 28th April and the team has now released the official trailer which raised expectations heavily. As we know, the Indian version of this series is already in the making and it has Varun Dhawan and Samantha playing the lead roles. Coming to the English version, Richard Madden and Priyanka Chopra are the main lead and the trailer gives a clear picture of how the series is going to be.
It is a racy spy thriller with loads of drama and a touch of science fiction. This is going to be a six-episode series that is going to be filled with multiple characters and multiple storylines. Richard Madden who played the lead says, “I personally play a character who is an amnesiac—eight years of his life, he’s basically become a new person. There’s a journey of discovering who he was before the accident happened, and he no longer remembers anything. It’s a clash between the life that he’s been living for eight years, and the life that he used to live. You get to delve into exploring the psyche of dealing with the consequences of things that you’re not aware that you’ve done.”
Richard Madden looks a perfect fit for the role and pulls off some cool action sequences but it is Priyanka Chopra Jonas who steals the show which her drop dead gorgeous looks and stunning performance. She looked very glamorous and her character is going to be filled with a lot of surprises as the trailer suggests. Let us wait and see what the ‘Citadel’ team has in store.
Created by Josh Appelbaum and Bryan Oh, ‘Citadel’ is produced jointly by the Russo Brothers Mike Larocca, Angela Russo, Scott Nemes, David Weil, Jeff Pinker, Scott Rosenberg, Andre Nemec and others. Small filmmaker Venkatesh Maha has created a controversy with his offensive comments on KGF.
“There is one neech kameen kuthe film that did crores at the box office with senseless mother sentiment. Even we can make these films, perhaps better than commercial directors. One can wonder how scrappy films like these make so much money” Venkatesh indirectly said about KGF.
The young director maintained an unapologetic tone as he called out KGF and such commercial films that have nothing new to offer.
This has become a burning topic in the Telugu cinema circles on social media and Venkatesh Maha has become a focal point of the discussion. Netizens are finding fault with the director’s unnecessarily provocative statements on KGF which is Kannada cinema’s biggest blockbuster.
NTR off to USA to attend Oscars event.
The 95th Academy Awards ceremony is going to be held on March 12 in Los Angeles, USA. Mega Powerstar Ram Charan, director SS Rajamouli, music director Keeravani, Karthikeyan and others have already reached the Los Angeles venue.
However, Young Tiger NTR did not reach the venue due to the sudden demise of his elder brother Tarakaratna. After completing all the rites, Jr NTR headed to the USA in the wee hours of Monday morning.
The videos of NTR entering the Shamshabad Airport are going viral on social media. With this, Jr NTR fans are on cloud nine.

Senior Actress Reveals Her Horrific Experience With Her Dad!
Senior star actress Khushu Sundar who is widely popular for her work in Tamil and Telugu films is known for her straightforward attitude in real life too. She never hesitates to give her opinion on various issues and is actively involved in Tamil Nadu politics as well. In a recent interview with famous journalist Barkha Dutt, the ‘Stalin’ actress talked about the horrific experiences she had as a child and how she was sexually abused by her father.
She revealed, “When a child is abused, it leaves a scar for life and it is not about a girl or a boy. My mother went through the most abusive marriage. My father was a man who thought it was his right to beat up his wife, beat up his kids, and sexually abuse his only daughter. The sexual abuse started when I was just 8 years old. I had the courage to speak against him when I was 15.”
The actress added, “I feared that my mother may not believe me, because I have seen her in an environment where the husband is considered equal to God, no matter what. But, at the age of 15, I thought that it was enough. I began revolting against him. I was not even 16 and my father left us with whatever we had. We didn’t even know where the next meal will come from.”
Khushu is last seen in a Telugu film titled ‘Aadavallu Meeku Joharlu’ which came out in 2022. She did a cameo in Vijay’s ‘Varisu’ and acted alongside Rajnikanth in his last movie ‘Annathe’. She will soon be seen in Gopichand’s ‘Rama Banam’ which will come out in May. She is also seen as the judge for the popular comedy show ‘Jabardasth’.
Kalyan Ram Parts Ways With ‘Bimbisara’ Director For Its Sequel!
Nandamuri Kalyan Ram scored a super hit in the form of ‘Bimbisara’ last year. The project gained a positive response ever since the teaser was released and the movie performed well, as expected. This socio-fantasy is Kalyan Ram’s first hit after ‘Pataas’ and it brought a lot of profits too. He even announced ‘Bimbisara 2’ immediately.
After a debacle like ‘Amigos’, he is now looking to start the work on ‘Bimbisara 2’. As it is well known, Akkineni hero Naga Chaitanya is working on an interesting action entertainer titled ‘Custody’. Since his last movie ‘Thank You’ turned out to be a flop, he is aiming to give a strong comeback with ‘Custody’ which is being directed by Venkat Prabhu. The popular director is known for his movies like ‘Gambler’, ‘Saroja’, ‘Rakshasudu’, ‘Maanadu’ and others.
A few days back, the team released a video claiming that the shooting has been wrapped up and ‘Custody’ will be hitting the marquee on 12th May. Chaitanya will be seen as a police officer in this movie while Krithi Shetty will be playing the role of his romantic interest. Now, the production banner has released an official update on Twitter claiming that the dubbing work has begun.
They released a picture where Naga Chaitanya is seen standing behind the microphone and he is going to complete his dubbing work in the next few days. The makers wrote that the post-production is in full swing and the teaser hunt begins shortly. The glimpse which came a few weeks back got a decent response. People are expecting to know more about the movie when the teaser comes out.
Srinivasaa Chitturi of Srinivasaa Silver Screen is bankrolling the yet-to-be-titled film while Abburi Ravi has penned dialogues. The legendary father-son duo of Maestro, Isaignani Ilaiyaraaja, and little Maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja are going to score tunes for the film and Pavan Kumar will be presenting this ambitious project. SR Kathir is the cinematographer while Sarath Kumar and Priyamani are playing key roles.

As announced, the lyrical video of ‘O Dollar Pillagaa’ has been released on time. The song is a peppy track with foot-tapping beats. The visuals are quite attractive and Mangli’s singing is just the icing on the cake. ‘Das Ka Dhamki’ is making all the right noises with its promotion. After ‘Almost Padipoyindhe Pilla’ and ‘Mawa Bro’, this track looks like a complete party number with local beats.
Leon James has impressed with a good tune but it is Mangli’s voice that brings the required flavor. Deepak Blue did his part too while Purnachary’s lyrics are fine. The girl who performed in the song stole the show with her glamour and the choreography from Sathish Krishnan too grabs your attention. Vishwak looks stylish and doesn’t have much to do but Rao Ramesh surprises you with his dance movements.
The song may not be an instant hit but it will have a bigger impact when you watch it on the big screens. Lovely beauty Nivetha Pethuraj is the heroine in this movie and the rest of the cast includes Rao Ramesh, Tarun Bhascker, Shaurya Khare, Rati Hulji, Akshara Goud, Ajay, Aadi, Mahesh, Rohini Molleti, Prudhvi Taj, Kadambari Kiran, Ranjitha, Amith Sharma, Murali Goud and Surya Kumar.
Dinesh K Babu handles the cinematography while Leon James scores the music and Anwar Ali is the editor. The movie will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Hindi languages. Das Ka Dhamki’ is produced by Karate Raju under Vanmaye Creations and Vishwaksen Cinemas banners. Prasanna Kumar Bezawada penned the story while Vishwak Sen himself took care of the screenplay and direction departments. The release date of this movie is yet to be announced.
