Video: Samantha Speaks Her Experiences In ‘Yashoda’!
Star actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has turned up to the promotions of ‘Yashoda’ despite her health issues. She released a couple of pictures in a black dress saying that she is ready for the promotions. Now, the video of top anchor Suma Kanakala interviewing Samantha is out now.
Samantha who is known for her energy usually looked a bit dull in this video which is quite expected. Despite that, she is seen laughing and enjoying her conversation with Suma. Sam said that there are some good fight sequences in the film which will be loved by the audience and it is the directors who pushed her to do it. She spoke highly about her fellow actors Unnimukundan, Varalaxmi and others. Also, she stated ‘Yashoda’ character had some similarities to her real life.
At one point, she turned emotional while talking about her health and the post she made on social media. Sam stated that she was at a stage where it was hard to take even a single step forward. On the whole, it was a complete interview that focused on every aspect of the film as well as Sam’s personal life. Also, Suma needs a special mention for keeping the interview as light hearted as possible without making it too emotional for the actress.
Hari-Harish duo is directing this edge-of-the-seat thriller. Sivalenka Krishna Prasad is producing this movie under his ‘Sridevi Movies’ banner. Dialogues were written by Pulagam Chinnarayana and Dr. Challa Bhagyalaxmi. Mani Sharma is composing the music while Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor.
Yashoda is releasing in multiple languages including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. The cast of the movie includes Samantha, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Unni Mukundan, Rao Ramesh, Murali Sharma, Sampath Raj, Shatru, Madhurima, Kalpika Ganesh, Divya Sripada and Priyanka Sharma.
Disappointing Collections Despite Good Talk!
The movie lovers are not showing a lot of interest in watching romantic comedies in theatres. Nani’s ‘Ante Sundaraniki’ and Naga Shaurya’s ‘Krishna Vrinda Vihari’ are recent examples of it. Despite getting a good talk, the movies failed to enter the profit zone. Allu Sirish’s latest outing ‘Urvasivo Rakshasivo’ is facing the same situation right now.
This love story got a positive talk from the audience and critics too praised the film. The movie is catered to the youth and the makers filled it with a lot of romantic moments that will raise the mercury levels. Also, there are many double meaning jokes in the movie which was quite surprising considering the fact that it is made under ‘Geetha Arts’ banner. The ratings were good too but the hit film of Sirish failed to get more collections than his previous flicks which were failures.
By the end of its first weekend, Allu Sirish’s ‘Srirasthu Subhamasthu’ got 9.9 crores while ‘Okka Kshanam’ got 7 crores. His ‘ABCD’ got 6 crores on the first week but the collections of ‘Urvasivo Rakshashivo’ are nowhere near these. The pandemic has played a huge role in changing the behaviour of the public as they are not keen on stepping into theatres for above-average flicks. We need to wait and see how much Sirish’s film collects by the end of its theatrical run after all the success celebrations.

Bharat Jodo Yatra: Congress Faces Big Jolt From Court!
The grand old Congress wants a big revival to fight the mighty Bharatiya Janata Party. The Congress party is not in a position to stand against the BJP which is looking very strong. As a big step in bringing back the lost glory, former party chief Rahul Gandhi started a journey named Bharat Jodo Yatra.
The Yatra was started in Tamil Nadu and already covered a few states like Kerala, Karnataka, Telugu states Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Rahul Gandhi-led yatra will enter Maharashtra state soon. A few leaders like the former Chief Minister’s son Aaditya Thackeray are expected to walk with Rahul Gandhi.
Amid this, Congress suffered a big blow as the Court ordered a temporary blocking of Congress’s Twitter handles over the allegations of music copyright. The Music company which owns the rights of Kannada sensation K.G.F found fault with the playing of songs from the movie without permission.
The MRT Music company moved a local Bengaluru court against the Congress party for reportedly using the music from the song when the yatra went through Karnataka. Not happy with this, the company knocked on the doors of the court. An FIR was also filed against a few Congress leaders reportedly.
The opposition Congress party which received a big shock with the court orders is said to be in plans to take the legal opinion. Taking to social media platforms the Congress party said that they heard the news about this and they are yet to receive a copy of the order. Having said that, the opposition party said they are looking at pursuing legal remedies.
There are high chances for the Congress party to challenge the verdict in the higher courts as the party pinned high hopes on Bharat Jodo Yatra to get back the lost glory. At this time, a copyright issue was raised.
Until the court verdict is changed it is a big shock with the grand old Congress and the party doesn’t want to hear such news now. Let us wait and see what happens next in the case. Congress has high hopes on the Bharat Jodo Yatra.
Shankar Plans A 3 Part Epic With Ranveer Singh!
Prior to the beginning of #RC15, legendary filmmaker Shankar announced the Hindi version of ‘Aparichitudu’ with Ranveer Singh as the lead. But it is no longer happening and the ‘Robo’ director is all set to make a huge pan-Indian cinematic event with the ‘Ram Leela’ actor. As per reports, this movie is based on the famous Tamil epic novel Velpari.
A source said, “Shankar wants to make the biggest pan-Indian film by bringing one of the biggest superstars of our generation, superstar Ranveer Singh, to helm this ambitious project – a grand cinematic adaptation of the iconic Tamil epic Velpari. The novel has everything to offer – from a larger-than-life hero to incredible life lessons, to a heart-touching love story and magnificent visual-effect sequences whose scale will set the next benchmark of action spectacles in India. It is the wholesome nature of this novel that has got Shankar and Ranveer to come together for this collaboration.”
The story will be told in three parts and it will be coming out in multiple languages. As per insiders, “The story is so vast and complex that all the aspects can’t be covered in one film. Shankar has devised a screenplay that lends itself to a three-part film. He intends to start shooting for the first part from the middle of 2023. This would be the biggest film of Shankar and Ranveer’s filmography to date.”
The source added, “Shankar is so impressed by Ranveer and his commitment to pushing the envelope in big-screen cinema that he’s decided to collaborate on something that’s even bigger and something that’s immensely close to Shankar’s heart. This collaboration will definitely create a milestone in Indian cinema.”
We need to wait and see when this film goes on floors. Currently, Shankar is working on ‘Indian 2’ and ‘#RC15’ simultaneously.
Vijay Deverakonda: Liger taught me a lot
Tollywood heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda delivered an epic disaster with Liger which incurred huge losses to everyone involved.
A couple of months after the film’s release, Vijay has opened up about the failure, and here is what he had to say.
“Liger showed me who I am as an actor and as a person. It showed me what I can do? I have learnt a very valuable lesson with Liger and that is the most important thing for me at the moment” Vijay said in a brief interview.
Vijay is evidently taken aback by he failure of the film and he took some time to process it. He is now pinning hopes on Kushi which is directed by Shiva Nirvana.

Another Film In The Midst Of Everything! Why?
After ‘Baahubali’, Prabhas gained a huge market across the nation but he is unable to satisfy them. His last two outings ‘Saaho’ and ‘Radhe Shyam’ turned out to be huge disappointments. However, he is showing a lot of speed by handling four projects at the same time. Three of his movies are in under making while one film was announced.
He wrapped up the shooting of ‘Adipurush’ and it is in the post-production stage now. The makers announced that it will be coming out in June. It is a mythological drama based on Ramayana. Prabhas is also working on a complete action film titled ‘Salaar’ under the direction of Prasanth Neel. It will be released on September 28th, 2023. The production work of his science fiction movie ‘Project K’ is going on at the moment. It is expected to arrive by the end of 2023 or 2024. He announced a project with Sandeep Reddy Vanga too. It is titled ‘Spirit’.
He recently started a movie with Maruthi too and fans of Prabhas are not too happy about it. In the midst of this busy schedule, there are reports that he will be doing a Bollywood action film too. As per sources, Prabhas recently gave a green signal to Siddharth Anand’s script. The director is known for movies like ‘Bang Bang’ and ‘War’. He is currently making ‘Pathaan’ with SRK which will be releasing on 25th January. It will be great to work with Siddharth Anand but fans are unable to understand why Prabhas is accepting films in a hurry. He cannot start this project till 2024 due to his packed schedule. People are questioning why Prabhas is accepting scripts two years prior to going on sets. Also, there are rumors that Siddharth Anand is going to take 80 crores as remuneration. Anti-Hijab Protests In Iran Sees Support In India!
The world has become a global village with the rise of technology and globalisation. Earlier we have seen how the farmers’ protests got support from personalities and politicians from other nations too. Even a few MPs from the United Kingdom supported the protests.
It is known that the anti-Hijab protests in Iran are turning intense and aggressive with each passing day. A few popular personalities in the nation also supported the protests and a popular chef is said to have lost his life in this as he was beaten to death by the security forces.
Now the protests saw support from India as a few women in Kerala stood in solidarity with them. A few Muslim women gathered at a place and took the resolution to support the women. As a token of showing support, a few Muslim women and girls reportedly burnt hijabs there.
A seminar was held in God’s Own Country Kerala and the attendees decided to support the Iran protests and burnt hijab. They also held placards to show support for the Muslim women in Iran who are fighting for their rights.
The protests in India have significance as earlier there were protests by Muslim women for wearing hijabs. When a few students were asked to not wear hijabs inside the educational institutions they started a protest. Though the protests were started in Bengaluru they slowly spread throughout the nation. Even small places like Tenali saw protests.
