Megastar Chiranjeevi is back on sets. He has tested negative for Covid and he has returned to the sets of Godfather. Chiranjeevi shared a social media post pertaining to the same.“Tested Negative. Back to work & Back in Action with full steam ? Heartfelt thanks for all your love and wishes for my recovery. Humbled & Energised!” Chiranjeevi wrote on social media a short while back.

Chiranjeevi said he is back to work with full steam and his fans and followers could not have been happier.Chiranjeevi now plans to resume shooting for all his forthcoming films, Chiru154 and Bholaa Shankar at a stretch.

Incidentally, Chiranjeevi even tweeted about Lata Mangeshkar’s sad demise. “Nightingale of India, one of the greatest Legends #Lata Didi is no more.Heartbroken? The vacuum due to this colossal loss can never be filled. She lived an extraordinary life.Her Music lives on & will continue to cast a spell until Music is there! Rest in Peace #LataMangeshkar” he tweeted.

Legendary Lata Mangeshkar passes

Legendary playback singer Lata Mangeshkar has sadly passed away. The medical team attending Lata announced that she had breathed her last earlier in the morning today.Lata, 92 was diagnosed with pneumonia and she had also also contracted Covid. Her medical condition kept deteriorating.

Lata was taken off ventilator support on the 28th of January after she showed signs of improvement. But her condition kept deteriorating and she sadly passed away today.

“I consider it my honour that I have always received immense affection from Lata Didi. My interactions with her will remain unforgettable. I grieve with my fellow Indians on the passing away of Lata Didi. Spoke to her family and expressed condolences. Om Shanti.” The prime minister Narendra Modi tweeted as he reacted to Lata’s passing away.

This brings dawn on one of the most respected legendary singers in the history of Indian cinema. We at Tupaki extend our condolences to the family.

Likewise, recently he took to Twitter to announce his retirement. The young and talented comedian said he would not act in films after 2022. His decision shocked everyone.

The media went into a tizzy and published news, fans asked him not to take such drastic steps.

A day later, he changed his tune. The actor said the tweet was a prank, a joke.

“Why would I throw away a high paying, luxury life so full of benefits? I can’t believe my friends are calling me up to congratulate me on my retirement,” he tweeted.

It is well-known that talented actor Satya Dev and star heroine Tamanna Bhatia have been paired up in the Telugu remake of Kannada super hit film ‘Love Mocktail’. It is titled ‘Gurthunda Seetakalam’ and there is decent buzz around this film. The film was supposed to hit the screens long back but it got postponed several times. Now, the makers are getting ready to release the film and promotions have finally begun.

The title song has been released and it is a feel-good song. It showcases the splendid chemistry between Satya Dev and Tamannah. Sanjith Hegde did a fantastic job with the vocals while Shree Mani wrote some beautiful lyrics. Young and talented composed Kaala Bhairava came up with a soft melodious tune and it gives you a pleasant feel.

It is released on Aananda Audio and the song is attracting the youth. Apart from the lead pair, the film also has Megha Akash, Kavya Shetty and others playing key roles. Produced and directed by Nagasekhar R, the release date of ‘Gurthunda Seetakalam’ is yet to be announced. Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao is the editor while Satya Hegde is the cinematographer. We need to see if this film becomes successful or not.

Egypt media tycoon charged with sex assault against orphan girls

CAIRO: An Egyptian businessman was charged on Saturday with “human trafficking” and “sexual assault” a month after he was arrested over accusations that he abused seven girls in an orphanage he founded.

Media and real estate tycoon Mohamed el-Amin was arrested on January 8 and held in custody pending investigations into accusations that he “sexually assaulted children using force”. He now faces up to 25 years in prison if found guilty.

The case came to public attention after a Facebook page accused the owner of the Al-Mustaqbal group — formerly the owner of the CBC television network before it was sold in 2018 — of sexually assaulting young girls.

A judiciary source told AFP Saturday that “witnesses confirmed the testimonies of the victims” during the investigation, referring to girls at an orphanage opened by Amin in Beni Suef, about 100 kilometres (60 miles) south of Cairo.

The source said images were found on the businessman’s phone, adding that recordings were produced of the orphans recounting the alleged assault.

The accusations were referred to the prosecutor’s office on December 10 by the government-affiliated National Council for Childhood and Motherhood.

The prosecution said the victims accused Amin of regularly assaulting them “without their consent”.

“He abused his power against the orphan girls, whom he sexually assaulted and threatened to expel if they reported him,” it said.

The prosecution added that Amin allegedly took some of the victims to his villa on the North Coast, where he assaulted them and “asked them to engage in immoral acts”.

Queen Elizabeth II set to be 1st British monarch to celebrate 70 years of reign

LONDON: Queen Elizabeth II will on Sunday become the first British monarch to celebrate a platinum jubilee, marking 70 years of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.

To celebrate the unprecedented anniversary of the 95-year-old monarch, events, and initiatives will take place throughout the year, culminating in a four-day UK bank holiday weekend from Thursday, June 2 to Sunday, June 5. The bank holiday will provide an opportunity for communities and people throughout the UK to come together to celebrate the historic milestone, Buckingham Palace announced on Saturday.

The four days of celebrations will include public events and community activities, as well as national moments of reflection on the Queen’s 70 years of service.

In addition, initiatives including The Queen’s Green Canopy and the Platinum Pudding competition will create a lasting reminder of The Queen’s Jubilee, while The Queen’s private estates will also join in with special jubilee themed events offering more opportunities for members of the public to celebrate the historic milestone.

To mark the occasion, a nationwide baking competition sets out to find a brand new pudding dedicated to the Queen. The Big Jubilee Lunch and Fortnum & Mason are inviting applications from UK residents aged eight and over to create the perfect Platinum Pudding recipe.

Five finalists will prepare their pudding for an expert judging panel including Dame Mary Berry, Monica Galetti, and Buckingham Palace Head Chef Mark Flanagan. The winning recipe will be made available to the public and the pudding will be enjoyed at Big Jubilee Lunches during the Jubilee weekend, and by generations to come.

In the Queen’s Birthday Parade (Trooping the Colour), over 1,400 parading soldiers, 200 horses, and 400 musicians will come together in the traditional parade to mark The Queen’s official birthday, usually held on the second Saturday in June. Beginning at Buckingham Palace, the parade will move down The Mall to Horse Guard’s Parade, joined by Members of the Royal Family on horseback and in carriages.

The parade will close with the traditional Royal Air Force fly-past, watched by The Queen and Members of the Royal Family from the Buckingham Palace balcony.

Santosh Shobhan is the protagonist in this film while Rashi Singh is the heroine. The chemistry between the lead pair is palpable. The song perfectly describes the blooming love between the lead pair. It explains the way ‘Prem Kumar’ is falling head over heels for the heroine. Anant Srikar’s music is soft, melodious and mesmerizing. Kittu Vissapragada penned the beautiful lyrics but it is Anurag Kulkarni who stole the show with his singing.
