సినిమా ప్లాప్ అయితే 2-3 రోజులు బయటకు రాను: మహేష్
సూపర్ స్టార్ మహేష్ బాబు గత కొన్నేళ్లుగా వరుసగా బ్లాక్ బస్టర్స్ అందుకుంటూ దూసుకుపోతున్నారు. క్రేజీ ప్రాజెక్ట్స్ లైన్ లో పెడుతూ దూకుడు చూపిస్తున్నారు. కెరీర్ లో ఇప్పటి వరకు 27 సినిమాల్లో నటించిన మహేష్.. తాను నటించిన మూవీ ప్లాప్ అయితే మాత్రం చాలా బాధ పడతానని చెప్తున్నారు. ఆహా ఓటీటీలో నందమూరి బాలకృష్ణ వ్యాఖ్యాతగా వ్యవహరిస్తున్న ‘అన్ స్టాపబుల్’ టాక్ షోకి గెస్టుగా హాజరైన మహేష్ అనేక ఆసక్తికరమైన విషయాలను పంచుకున్నారు.
‘పోకిరి’ లాంటి ఇండస్ట్రీ హిట్ ఇచ్చిన తర్వాత మూడేళ్ళ గ్యాప్ తీసుకోడానికి కారణం ఏంటని మహేష్ ని బాలయ్య అడిగారు. గ్యాప్ అనుకోకుండానే వచ్చిందిని.. అది తన లైఫ్ లో చాలా కష్టమైన పీరియడ్ అని మహేష్ చెప్పారు. ఏ సినిమా చేయాలో తెలియక అయోమయంలో పడ్డానని.. ఆ మూడేళ్లలో తనను తాను ఆవిష్కరించుకున్నానని అన్నారు.
”ఆ సమయంలో మా అమ్మమ్మ గారు చనిపోయారు. నమ్రత తల్లిదండ్రులు ఇద్దరూ క్యాన్సర్ తో చనిపోయారు. ఒక ఏడాది గ్యాప్ తీసుకుందాం అనుకున్నాను. అది రెండేళ్లు రెండున్నరేళ్లు అయింది. నేను దానికి రిగ్రెట్ అవడం లేదు. ఆ టైములో ఎంతో నేర్చుకున్నాను. గౌతమ్ కూడా అప్పుడే పుట్టాడు. 2006 లో ‘పోకిరి’ సినిమా సెన్సేషనల్ హిట్ అయింది. ఇండస్ట్రీ హిట్ అది. ఆ తర్వాత ఎలాంటి సినిమా చేయాలా అని నేను కూడా ఒక కన్ఫ్యూజన్ పీరియడ్ లోకి వెళ్ళిపోయా. కానీ ఆ మూడేళ్ళలో చాలా నేర్చుకున్నాను. నన్ను నేను కరెక్ట్ చేసుకోడానికి ఆ మూడేళ్లు తీసుకున్నాను. ఆ తర్వాత ఇంక వెనక్కి తిరిగి ఆలోచించలేదు” అని తెలిపారు.
అదే సమయంలో ఇతర హీరోలు బ్లాక్ బస్టర్ హిట్స్ కొడుతున్నప్పుడు ఇన్సెక్యూర్ ఫీలింగ్.. కాంపిటేషన్ టెన్షన్ ఏమైనా ఉన్నాయా అని బాలయ్య ప్రశ్నించగా.. ”నేను ఏం పట్టించుకోలేదండి. మన మీద మనకు నమ్మకం ఉండాలి అంతే” అని మహేష్ బదులిచ్చారు. సినిమా ఫ్లాప్ తనను చాలా బాధిస్తుందనే విషయాన్ని బయటపెట్టిన మహేష్.. రెండు మూడు రోజులపాటు రూమ్ లో నుంచి బయటకురానని తెలిపారు. సినిమా పరాజయానికి పూర్తి బాధ్యత తనదేనని పేర్కొన్నారు.
”బేసిక్ గా సినిమా ఫ్లాప్ అయితే నాకు చాలా బాధ కలుగుతుంది. సినిమా ఆడకపోతే అందరికంటే ముందు నేనే విపరీతంగా బాధపడతాను. ఫ్లాప్ కు ఫస్ట్ నేనే బాధ్యుడ్ని అని ఫీల్ అవుతాను. ఎందుకంటే నా వల్లనే కదా డబ్బులు పోయాయి.. కథ నేను ఓకే చేసి ఉండకపోతే ఇలా జరిగేది కాదు కదా.. అందుకే ఫ్లాప్ కు మొదటి రెస్పాన్సిబిలిటీ నాదే. అందుకే సినిమా ఆడకపోతే 2-3 రోజులు రూమ్ నుంచి బయటకు రాను. ఆ ప్రాసెస్ లో తప్పు జరిగిపోయిందని అండర్ స్టాండింగ్ చేసుకొని.. దీన్నుంచి ఎలా బయటకు రావాలనేది ఆలోచిస్తాను” అని మహేష్ అన్నారు.
అయితేని ఫెయిల్యూర్స్ ని గుర్తిస్తే సక్సెస్ అవుతామని చెప్పిన మహేష్.. కథల విషయంలో ప్రతి నిర్ణయం తనదేనని.. కనీసం తన తండ్రి ప్రమేయం కూడా ఉండదని తెలిపారు. “బయట వాళ్ల మీద నేను ఎప్పుడూ ఆధారపడను. నా సబ్జక్ట్స్ ని నాన్నగారితో కూడా ఎప్పుడూ డిస్కస్ చేయలేదు. ఏదైనా నేనే నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంటాను. తప్పయినా నాదే.. ఒప్పైనా నాదే. అలా ఉండాలనేదే నా ఫీలింగ్. రేపు మా అబ్బాయి కూడా అలానే ఉండాలి. నేను వాడ్ని సపోర్ట్ చేయను. ఫెయిల్యూర్స్ ని గుర్తిస్తే మనం సక్సెస్ అవుతామనేది నా ఫీలింగ్. నా కెరీర్ లో అదే జరిగింది” అని మహేష్ బాబు చెప్పుకొచ్చారు.
ఇకపోతే మహేష్ ప్రస్తుతం పరశురామ్ దర్శకత్వంలో ‘సర్కారు వారి పాట’ సినిమా చేస్తున్నారు. అలానే త్రివిక్రమ్ శ్రీనివాస్ తో కలిసి మూడో మూవీ చేయడానికి రెడీ అవుతున్నారు. ఏప్రిల్ నుంచి ఆ సినిమా రెగ్యులర్ షూటింగ్ స్టార్ట్ అవుతుంది. ఇదే క్రమంలో దిగ్గజ దర్శకుడు రాజమౌళితో మహేష్ ఓ భారీ ప్రాజెక్ట్ చేయనున్నారు.
Will Nandamuri Balakrishna resign from MLA post?
Will HIndupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna stick to his words and resign from the AP Assembly on the issue of making Hindupur instead of Puttaparthi as the headquarters of Hindupur district? A section of the TDP leaders feel that even otherwise Balakrishna is an absentee MLA, who seldom visits Hindupur and works in the constituency by proxy. So, his resignation practically means nothing. So, the resignation would change nothing for the people of Hindupur, they say.
However, many feel that Balayya Babu’s resignation could bring in a bypoll and the YSRCP may take advantage of this and repeat what it has done in Kuppam, Tirupati and Badvel bypolls. This could very well mean that the TDP might end up losing another assembly constituency. Sources say that Jagan is adamant about Puttaparthi and may not yield to Balayya Babu’s demand. This may force Balayya’s hand and make him resign for the MLA post.
TDP insiders feel that a resignation at this state could be counterproductive for the party. His resignation would cause unnecessary problem for the party, they feel. They feel that Balayya Babu should not resign from the MLA post.

It is known that Naga Chaitanya Akkineni is making his OTT debut this year with a web series, which is to be directed by Vikram K. Kumar. The much-hyped venture series will go on the floors soon.

Written by BVS Ravi, the film is produced by Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations. He will also be seen in Laal Singh Chaddha, alongside Bollywood actor Aamir Khan. The Advait Chandan directorial is slated for a theatrical release on 14 April 2022.

PM Modi to launch Statue of Equality: Know specialties of it!
The 29th state of India, Telangana is all set to add one more feature in its cap with a massive statue made up of five metals. Spread across a vast area, the yet-to-be-unveiled statue also has other facilities like a big library, theatre, and educational gallery.
The 216-feet statue named the Statue of Equality was built in Telangana, which will be unveiled by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. To inaugurate the statue, Modi is landing in Hyderabad. The statue was built to remember Bhakti Saint Sri Ramanujacharya.
As the Statue of Equality is dubbed as one of the biggest statues in the world, let us dive into the details of the statue that makes it special.
The statue was set up in a vast area spread across 45 acres. The humongous statue was placed on top of a 54-feet long building. The statue of equality is surrounded by as many as 108 small temples that were built on the lines of the famous temples.
It took around seven long years to finish the statue. The foundation stone was laid back in 2014. The statue was made of five metals, gold, silver, copper, brass, and zync, that are considered sacred as far as the temples are concerned.
After the statue will be unveiled, a massive Yagam will be performed and around 5,000 priests across the nation will take part in the Yagam and for the same 120 Jayashalas were set up.
The statue will be unveiled on the eve of the 1000th birth anniversary of the Hindu saint. Marking the special occasion, Sahasrabdi Samaroham celebrations will be held which will last for 12 long days.
Tamil Philosopher Ramanujacharya is a celebrated theologist who played a big role in famous people taking forward the Hindu Bhakti movement. He had fought against the discrimination and made temple entry available for all the castes.
Ramanujacharya took his philosophy of equality to one and all by touring various parts of the country. During his stint in Srirangam, he had reformed the Srirangam Ranganathaswamy temple complex. The traditions he carried out were still followed in various famous Hindu temples even now.

Actress Alia Bhatt has called actor Ranbir Kapoor ‘best boyfriend ever’ after he was pictured copying her signature pose from the upcoming film ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’.
Alia posted a picture on her Instagram story shared by one of her fan clubs. It features Ranbir and Alia in two different images doing a namaste pose from the film as their backs are towards the camera.
On the image, she wrote: “Best Boyfriend Ever’.
‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ is inspired by the life of Gangubai Kothewali, ‘madam’ of a brothel in Mumbai’s Kamathipura, and is based on a chapter of Hussain Zaidi’s book ‘Mafia Queens Of Mumbai’.
The film is all set to have its much-awaited world premiere at the prestigious 72nd Berlin International Film Festival.

AP Mining Department issues ESMA proceedings
The Department of Mines in Andhra Pradesh has exhibited great enthusiasm. Venkat Reddy, the Director of Mines, has given the proceedings that ESMA Act will be enforced if the employees go on strike.
It is known that Andhra Pradesh is witnessing huge protests from government employees regarding the PRC issue. It was in this context that the Committee of Ministers held lengthy discussions with the employees’ unions on Friday. It is learned that government adviser Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy said the talks were positive. The government had also held talks with the unions on Saturday.
While the talks between the government and employees are giving positive outcomes, the ESMA proceedings issued by the Mining Department have shocked everyone. Employees are outraged by this move and they are questioning what the emergency services will be in the Mining Department.
For the unversed, the ESMA Act empowers a state government to take action against employees who are on strike or refuse to work on essential services, which are important for maintaining normal life. Using this act, the police can arrest anyone with no warrant if they are found to be violating its provision.
Mahesh candidly discusses the bad phase of his life
As the final episode of the ‘Unstoppable’ show premiered on Aha, the episode featured Balakrishna as the host and Mahesh Babu as the guest, as the duo discussed several topics, one of which had the latter open up about the bad phase in his career.

During the show, the duo had a chat about random topics, which also covered Mahesh Babu’s career in brief.
“After blockbuster hits, there was a period of three years, when you didn’t take up even a single project. Why did that happen?”, the ‘Akhanda’ actor quizzed Mahesh.
“We lost my grandmother, that year. I had to take a break to get over her death, as she was the one, who brought me up, mostly. Then, we lost Namrata’s both parents. My son Gautham was born and he was a preterm kid,” Mahesh Babu said.
He also conveyed that he wanted to take a break from the movies, as he was confused about his next step.
“Being said that, I do not even have any regrets. I wanted time to actualize all the happenings,” the ‘Pokiri’ actor said.

మెగా హీరో వరుణ్ తేజ్ హీరోగా నటించిన గని సినిమా విడుదలకు సిద్దం అయ్యింది. అదుగో ఇదుగో అంటూ గని సినిమా కోసం రెండు విడుదల తేదీలను ఖరారు చేయడం జరిగింది. మార్చి 4న ఈ సినిమా విడుదల అయ్యే అవకాశాలు ఎక్కువగా కనిపిస్తున్నాయి. ఈ సినిమా లో వరుణ్ తేజ్ బాక్సర్ గా కనిపించబోతున్నాడు. బాలీవుడ్ హాట్ బ్యూటీ సాయి మంజేకర్ హీరోయిన్ గా నటించిన విషయం తెల్సిందే. ఇక ఈ సినిమాలో ప్రథాన ఆకర్షణగా సౌత్ హాట్ బ్యూటీ తమన్నా చేసిన ఐటెం సాంగ్ నిలిచింది. ఈ సినిమా స్థాయిని పెంచేందుకు ప్రముఖ స్టార్స్ ఉపేంద్ర మరియు సునీల్ శెట్టిలు ఉన్నారు. ఇప్పటికే సినిమాపై అంచనాలు పీక్స్ లో ఉన్నాయి. ఈ సమయంలో సినిమా గురించిన ఒక ఆసక్తికర విషయం సినిమా పై అంచనాలు ఆసక్తి పెంచే విధంగా ఉందంటూ కామెంట్స్ వస్తున్నాయి.
ఈ సినిమా నుండి మరో సాంగ్ ను సంగీత దర్శకుడు థమన్ విడుదల చేయబోతున్నట్లుగా ప్రకటించాడు. ఈనెల 8వ తారీకున విడుదల కాబోతున్న ‘గని’ రోమియో జూలియట్ సాంగ్ చాలా స్పెషల్ అంటూ ప్రచారం జరుగుతోంది. ఈ పాటను తమిళంతో పాటు దేశ వ్యాప్తంగా గుర్తింపు దక్కించుకున్న దిగ్గజ దర్శకుడు శంకర్ కుమార్తె అయిన ఐశ్వర్య శంకర్ పాడారు. డాక్టర్ అయిన ఆమె కు సంగీతం అంటే ఆసక్తి.. ఆ ఆసక్తితో పాటలు పాడేందుకు ప్రయత్నాలు చేస్తూ ఉంటారు. తాజాగా ఆమెతో గని సినిమా కోసం థమన్ రోమియో జూలియట్ అనే పాటను పాడించాడు. ఈ పాటకు ఆమె వాయిస్ చక్కగా సెట్ అయ్యిందని.. తప్పకుండా పాట సినిమాలో ప్రథాన ఆకర్షణగా నిలుస్తుందనే నమ్మకం ను వ్యక్తం చేస్తున్నారు.

Jagan goes out of the way to appease employees
Apparently realising that the state administration would come to a grinding halt if the state government employees go on indefinite strike from February 7, Andhra Pradesh chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy has come down a bit and gone out of the way to appease the agitating employees.
After seeing the Vijayawada rally which witnessed massive turnout of the agitating employees, Jagan has understood that if the government adopts a stubborn stand, it would have far-reaching consequences on the state economy.
That is why, the chief minister has decided to go out of the way to appease the striking employees.
Based on his suggestions, the five-member committee of ministers and employees held discussions with the members of the steering committee of the employees’ unions till late hours of Friday.
The Jagan government has reportedly agreed to increase the House Rent Allowance percentage as per the previous rates.
The government might also withdraw the move to do away with city compensatory allowance and revise the pay scales once in five years, besides extending adiditional quantum for pensioners of above 70 years.
The employees are demanding that they be given at least 27 per cent fitment, on par with the interim relief, but the government has decided against the same. It has, however, agreed to drop the proposal to adjust interim relief from the salaries of the employees.
Another round of negotiations is being held in the state secretariat in the evening. If the chief ministers concedes majority of their demands, the employees’ union leaders might withdraw their plan to go on indefinite strike from February 7.
Sebastian P.C. 524 teaser looks impressive!
Kiran Abbavaram, who scored a hit with ‘SR Kalyanamandapam’, is now all set to entertain the audience with his upcoming movie ‘Sebastian P.C. 524’. The makers today unveiled the teaser of the film, which looks interesting.
Set in Madanapalle of Andhra Pradesh, the village drama features the young actor as a police constable, who has night blindness. Keeping his weakness a secret, he deals with his disability while performing his duties. It is an interesting attempt from the makers and we’ve to wait for the films to hit the screens to see how the story turns out.
Written and directed by Balaji Sayyapureddy, Sebastian P.C. 524 is being produced by Pramod and Raju on Jyovitha Cinemas and presented by Elite Entertainments.
Being a bilingual movie, the film is to be released in Telugu and Tamil simultaneously on February 25. It has music by sensational composer Ghibran.
Lata Mangeshkar’s health condition worsens again
We already reported that legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar was hospitalised after her health condition worsened when she had tested positive for Covid-19 on January 8.
Mangeshkar was admitted to Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital soon after. After taking the treatment, the singer had shown some improvement in her health last year. Now, the latest reports suggest that Lata Mangeshkar’s health condition has deteriorated again. She is still in the ICU under doctors’ observation.
A statement about her latest health update states, “Lata Didi’s health has worsened again. She is still in ICU and will be under the doctor’s supervision. For the last 27 days, she is admitted to the hospital and her treatment is going on.”
