Shyam Singha Roy’s OTT Release Date Made Official
Nani’s Shyam Singha Roy hit the big screens on the 24th of December. The film opened to decent reviews and it managed to put on a moderate run at the box office.The periodic action drama is now gearing up for its OTT premieres. The film will be made available for streaming on its digital streaming partner Netflix in two weeks from now.
As per the latest reports, Shyam Singha Roy will be made available for streaming on Netflix from the 21st of January.Neither the makers of the Nani starrer nor Netflix have made an official announcement in this regard. But there are several reliable reports claiming that the film will premiere on Netflix on 21st January.
It appears to be that Shyam Singha Roy will be arriving on OTT just 4 weeks after its theatrical release, which shows that Netflix has indeed modified its OTT release clause model.Shyam Singha Roy is a periodic action drama directed by Rahul Sankrityan. The film has Nani, Sai Pallavi, Krithi Shetty, and Madonna Sebastian in the lead roles.
Sukumar Tells About His Not-So-Great Meeting With Mani Ratnam!
Star director Sukumar is not just one of the top filmmakers in Tollywood. He is a huge director with a brand that is well known across the country. His recently outing ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ collected heavily from all the states and surprised everyone. His last film ‘Rangasthalam’ was also a huge hit which turned a lot of heads towards him. Such a big director has recently revealed that his inspiration is Mani Ratnam.
During his youth days, he watched ‘Geethanjali’ and stated that he felt the cool breeze despite watching it in a non-AC theatre. He said that he felt like leaving his girlfriend behind while stepping out of the theatre. It was then that Sukumar decided to become a director as he was amazed by how a filmmaker could amaze loads of people with a three hour long cinema.
His decision to become a director was further strengthened when his favorite director Yendamuri Verendranath turned into a director. But he revealed a bad memory he had when he tried to meet Mani Ratnam. He said that he couldn’t meet the ‘Roja’ director despite a lot of efforts but he had a chance to talk with him after Sukumar’s ‘Arya’ became successful. Sukumar reportedly saw Mani Ratnam in a hotel in Mumbai. The veteran was involved in a deep conversation with actress Sobhana then.
Sukumar waited for their conversation to finish but it took a lot of time. So, Sukumar tried to greet him at that time but Mani Ratnam got angry and signaled him to go away. Sukumar got hurt by that but managed to understand later how a director feels when he is disturbed by someone while having a serious discussion. He said that it was not wrong on Mani Ratnam’s part and added that it is his wish to meet Mani Ratnam once and is hopeful that it would happen someday in the immediate future.
Coming to Sukumar’s next film, the second part of ‘Pushpa’ is expected to release by the end of this year. The shooting is going to start next month as per sources and there are high expectations on ‘Pushpa – The Rule’.
Samantha Takes The Limelight In ‘Pushpa’ OTT Version!
The much-awaited ‘Pushpa – The Rise’ is made available on Amazon Prime in all languages barring Hindi. It is getting huge number of views as per sources and one expects either Bunny or Sukumar to dominate discussion on the internet but it is not both of them. Apparently, it is star actress Samantha Akkineni who stole the show.
As we know, she did a special number in the film and it was her first time. The actress looked pretty sensuous in the song but people got to see a trimmed version of ‘Oo Antava’ song in the theatres. They were disappointed with it but the complete video song came out yesterday and it was 4 minutes long. It contains additional footage that was left out by the makers during theatrical release. Much to the happiness of the audience, they even included the complete song with additional clips in the OTT version too.
Earlier, there was a video of Samantha practicing the dance movement for this popular item song. She pulled off some moves which may have made the audience go crazy. But they weren’t included in the actual video song. But these additional clips of Samantha showcasing her stunning glamour is going viral and fans are going wild. This explains the craze of the actress and her sultry avatar is surely drawing many into watching the film on Amazon Prime Video.
Pushpa – The Rise’ is set in the backdrop of red sanders smuggling and it is released on a pan-Indian scale. It was dubbed in Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam languages. Rashmika played the role of Srivalli in this film while Malayalam star hero Fahadh Faasil played the role of Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat. Actors like Ajay Ghosh, Sunil, Anasuya and others played negative roles in this high-budget film. Sukumar is currently enjoying it and people are hoping that he comes with an even better output for ‘Pushpa – The Rule’. Devi Sri Prasad gave a chartbuster album for ‘Pushpa’ but his work on background scores upset many people. His fans are hoping that he delivers his best once again for the second part which is expected to hit the screens during the end of this year. Fahadh Fasil is also going to have more screentime in the second part as per sources.

Popular Kannada director Prasanth Neel is lining up big films with Telugu star heroes lately. Covid: Sathyaraj admitted to hospital, Trisha recovering
Noted senior actor Sathyaraj has been admitted to a private hospital in Chennai later last night after his medical condition turned complicated.Sathyaraj had recently contracted Covid and he was taking necessary medication at his house in Chennai. But the situation turned a bit critical and Sathyaraj was immediately rushed to the hospital.
The medical team attending Sathyaraj is yet to issue an official statement on his current condition.We at Tupaki wish Sathyaraj wish a speedy recovery and hope he comes out unscathed in this battle against Covid.
On a related note, noted actress Trisha had also contracted Covid recently.
