There is a growing feeling in the BJP that despite winning on the party symbol, Eatala Rajender is charting his own course and is keeping a safe distance from the party. Sources say that the BJP is finding it difficult to work with Eatala Rajender and that he behaves not like a team man but as a one-man army.
As if to alley these fears and to clarify, Eatala Rajender has said that he has no differences with any of the BJP leaders. He said he has good relations with both Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay. He tried to put a united front and sought to set at rest the rumors flying thick and fast.
He also sought to clarify that he was not a party-hopper. He said that he had not left the TRS, but was pushed out of the party by the TRS bosses. He said that he was not allowed into the Pragathi Bhavan and it was because of this slight that he had resigned from the TRS. He tried to send the message that he was not a party hopper and that he would stick to the BJP.
This is being seen as a significant message as there are rumors that Eatala had contested on the BJP ticket as he did not want to lose. But, by these statements, Eatala is trying to send a clear-cut message that he is not going to leave the BJP. Are Bandi Sanjay and Kishan Reddy listening?
