Official: Thaman to compose Radhe Shyam’s BGM

The makers of Radhe Shyam have made the much awaited big announcement that everyone has been waiting for. They have announced that Thaman has been roped in to compose the soundtrack for the South Indian language versions of the film.

“We are pleased to welcome the young music maestro @MusicThaman to score the BGM of #RadheShyam for South Languages!,” the statement from the makers of Radhe Shyam read.

Thaman has already started composing the music for the film and he will be done with the same by the first week of January.

Radhe Shyam is in the final leg of production now and more promotional material will be out in the days to come.

The Radha Krishna directorial is a proper love drama with Prabhas and Pooja Hegde in the lead roles. UV Creations are funding the project on a lavish scale.

ఇంట్లో అందరికి కూడా అమ్మ చేతి తో ఇచ్చే చిరు దోశ అంటే ఇష్టం అన్నట్లుగా రామ్ చరణ్ చెప్పుకొచ్చాడు. అయితే ఆ దోశ ను నేను తినడమే తప్ప దాన్ని ఎలా చేస్తుంది.. ఏం ఉపయోగిస్తుంది అనే విషయాలను తెలుసుకోలేదు. ఎప్పుడు కూడా నేను అమ్మను ఆ విషయాలను అడగలేదు అన్నట్లుగా రామ్ చరణ్ చెప్పుకొచ్చాడు.

ఇంట్లో అంతా కూడా స్వీట్స్ ను ఎక్కువగా తినేందుకు ఆసక్తి చూపిస్తూ ఉంటారు. నేను కూడా స్వీట్స్ తింటాను కాని ఎక్కువగా నాకు స్పైసీ ఫుడ్ అంటే ఇష్టం అన్నట్లుగా చెప్పుకొచ్చాడు. ఇంట్లో అందరి కంటే ఎక్కువ స్పైసీగా తినేది నేను. నాకు మాంసాహారం కంటే శాకహారం అంటే ఎక్కువ ఇష్టం. మాసాహారం లో హైదరాబాదీ బిర్యానీ అంటూ భలే ఇష్టం అన్నట్లుగా చెప్పుకొచ్చాడు.

రామ్ చరణ్ ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్ సినిమా విడుదలకు ముందే శంకర్ దర్శకత్వంలో సినిమా ను మొదలు పెట్టాడు. ఆ సినిమాకు సంబంధించిన మొదటి రెండు షెడ్యూల్స్ పూర్తి అయ్యాయి. మొదటి షెడ్యూల్ ను పుణె లో నిర్వహించగా.. రెండవ షెడ్యూల్ ను హైదరాబాద్ లో నిర్వహించారు. రెండవ షెడ్యూల్ తర్వాత రామ్ చరణ్ ఆర్ ఆర్ ఆర్ ప్రమోషన్స్ తో బిజీ అయ్యాడు.

రామ్ చరణ్ 2023 సంవత్సరంలో శంకర్ మూవీతో రాబోతున్నాడు. 2022 లో రామ్ చరణ్ మరో మూవీ కూడా ప్రారంభం అవ్వబోతుందని అంటున్నారు. ఇప్పటికే ఒక యంగ్ దర్శకుడికి చరణ్ గ్రీన్ సిగ్నల్ ఇవ్వడం జరిగింది. ప్రముఖ నిర్మాణ సంస్థ ప్రస్తుతం ప్రీ ప్రొడక్షన్ వర్క్ ను చేయిస్తున్నట్లుగా తెలుస్తోంది.

From a lover boy in his last release Most Eligible Bachelor, Akhil Akkineni has undergone a complete physical transformation for his next venture Agent.

Pinning big hopes on the movie and his other projects in 2022, the third generation scion of Akkineni family has uploaded a picture of his new look on Instagram.

“There is a storm coming. I can feel it #2022”, the Hello and Mr Majnu actor captioned the photograph of him sitting in a gym.

Starring Malayalam Megastar Mammootty alongside Akhil, Agent, tipped to be a gripping spy tale, is directed by Surender Reddy and written by Vakkantham Vamsi.

Bankrolled by AK Entertainments and Surender 2 Cinema, the film has Sakshi Vaidya as the female lead.

Mammootty is said to be playing the antagonist in Agent and the confrontation scenes between him and Akhil are expected to be a treat to watch.

Telugu star Jr NTR is geared up for the release of director S.S. Rajamouli’s epic ‘RRR’, co-starring Ram Charan, and he shares his thoughts on the film.

The ‘Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava’ actor, who has been quite busy promoting ‘RRR’ had an exclusive chat with IANS.

Jr NTR explains how Rajamouli has evolved as a filmmaker.

Having worked with Rajamouli when he was just getting started, Jr NTR believes that Rajamouli has only grown hungrier to make more movies of great significance.

“The success quotient of S.S. Rajamouli has become exponentially bigger. His vision has become a macro-scale. But, as a person, he is still the same ‘Jakkanna’ to me,” Jr NTR said.

Ram Charan’s plays Alluri Seetharama Raju, which has a few cinematic references. But, for Komaram Bheem played by Jr NTR, there is no single reference about the character.

When quizzed about the same, Jr NTR said, “It is true that Komaram Bheem has no cinematic references.”

“We all grew up hearing the stories about these heroes. We all would have imagined a figure and its characteristics, right? For a Rajamouli movie, you have to undo almost every detail you ever have imagined or assumed.”

He further explained, “So, even though there is a reference, we have to undo those details.”

“So, it was totally Rajamouli’s imagination that you will see on the screen. Only the characters are real, the story surrounding them is totally fictional. We did multiple workshops together, to get into the skin of the characters.”

Jr NTR explains that Rajamouli has imbibed realistic features of the ‘Gond Veer’ Komaram Bheem, while the story is completely fictional.

On being asked about his bond with Ram Charan and their director complaining about their ‘pointless brawls’ on the sets of ‘RRR’, Jr NTR said they had a well-grounded explanation.

“When we have such a big project we are working on, everything gets intense on the sets. As I am an intense person myself, I get deeply engrossed in the work.”

“So, it is legit that we have such fun-filled breaks,” he said.

Jr NTR further explained, “There were times where we all used to break out in laughter. As Ram Charan and I were friends from earlier times, there were no boundaries.”

“We had to take breaks because the pressure of working for a mammoth venture, needs to be in equilibrium.”

“There are a lot of inhibitions for the actors to come together to make movies. I am proud to say that Charan and I have worked together to bring back the lost culture of two big stars working together for a movie.”

“The first two minutes will be Ram Charan’s and NTR’s individual fans watching the movie. But, the third minute, it is the movie fan, the audience, leaving behind the fandom”, Jr. NTR said, when he talks about their individual fandoms.

On January 7, ‘RRR’ will hit the screens. Jr NTR plays Komaram Bheem, while Ram Charan plays Alluri Seetharama Raju.

When CM cultivates paddy in 150 acres, why not others: Telangana Congress chief A Revanth Reddy

HYDERABAD: Alleging that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who had discouraged farmers from cultivating paddy was himself growing the crop in 150 acre of his farmland, TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy on Sunday urged farmers to go ahead with their plans and sow paddy in the ensuing Rabi.

Speaking to the media at his residence in Jubilee Hills here, Revanth flashed a few pictures and showed a video clip of alleged paddy cultivation in 150 acres in Erravelli farm of Kalvakuntla family. The Congress leader also invited the mediapersons to visit the location on Monday to check the details for themselves, while they cover ‘Rachabanda’ programme to be organised by him there.

“KCR must explain how, where and at what price he proposes to sell the paddy being cultivated in his 150-acre field. Ministers S Niranjan Reddy and Gangula Kamalakar must explain as to how they plan to procure the paddy from CM’s farms,” he said.

Condemning the TRS government’s plans to create an awareness campaign in the villages against paddy cultivation, he called upon the farmers to beat such people with footwear as they were trying to deprive them of exercising their constitutional rights.

Alleging that Telangana’s paddy farmers were being denied minimum support price (MSP) guaranteed by law, TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy on Sunday said that the TRS leaders, millers, brokers and middlemen were working as a syndicate to deprive farmers of MSP on their produce.

He also asked Ministers KT Rama Rao and T Harish Rao to go on a study tour of Chhattisgarh to know how that State was supporting the paddy farmers. The TPCC chief also condemned the recent statement by Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar that the three farm laws which were repealed, might be brought back.

Accusing the Chief Minister of making a announcement only to get cheap publicity, Revanth said the Chief Minister had not paid the Rs 3 lakh compensation to the kin of farmers who died during agitation for repeal of the farm laws at Delhi. “TRS Ministers and MPs camped in New Delhi for over a week. But none of them approached the farmers’ unions to collect the details of martyrs,” the TPCC chief pointed out.

He said that as per the Food Security Act, the Food Corporation of India was mandated to procure the rice from across the country.

While the FCI makes direct procurement of paddy in northern States like Punjab, it procures the rice through Civil Supplies Corporation in Telangana. Therefore, he said that the State Government acts as a mediator in the process although it needs to ensure that farmers are paid the MSP for their produce, he said.

సల్లూ భాయ్ సినిమాల విషయానికి వస్తే ఇటీవలే రాధే సినిమా తో వచ్చాడు. ఇంకా ఆయన మూడు నాలుగు సినిమాలు చేస్తున్నాడు. దబాంగ్ సిరీస్ లో ఒక సినిమా ను చేయడంతో పాటు మరో సూపర్ హిట్ సినిమాకు కూడా సీక్వెల్ లో సల్మాన్ నటిస్తున్నాడు. వయసు పెరుగుతున్నా కొద్ది సినిమాల సంఖ్య ను సల్మాన్ ఖాన్ పెంచడం ఆశ్చర్యంగా ఉందంటూ మీడియా వర్గాల వారు అంటున్నారు. తెలుగు లో సల్మాన్ ఖాన్ త్వరలో నటించబోతున్నాడు అనే వార్తలు వచ్చాయి. చిరంజీవి తో సల్మాన్ కలిసి నటిస్తాడని అంటున్నారు. ఆ సినిమా ఏంటీ.. ఎప్పుడు ఉంటుంది అనేది త్వరలో క్లారిటీ వచ్చే అవకాశం ఉంది.

మరి వీటిని నభా ఎలా బ్రేక్ చేసి ముందుకు వెళ్తుంది? అన్నది చూడాలి. తొటి హీరోయిన్ నిధి అగర్వాల్ మాత్రం కెరీర్ ని చక్కగా బిల్డ్ చేసుకుని ముందుకు సాగిపోతోంది. ప్రస్తుతం నిధి అగర్వాల్ పవర్ స్టార్ పవన్ కళ్యాణ్ సరసన `హరిహర వీరమల్లు` చిత్రంలో నటిస్తున్న సంగతి తెలిసిందే. ఈ సినిమా హిట్ అయితే నిధి కెరీర్ కి తిరుగుండదు. అటు యువ హీరోలతోనూ నిధి అగర్వాల్ సినిమాలు చేస్తోంది.

BC panel summons Telangana Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar over plea on GO 317

HYDERABAD: Acting on complaints filed by employees from the Backward Class communities on allocation of cadre as per GO 317, the National Commission for Backward Classes has directed Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar to appear before it at Dilkusha Guesthouse in Hyderabad at 10.30 am on Monday.

In a statement released to media on Sunday, T Achary, Member, NCBC, stated that BC employees wanted the regulations being followed for SC and ST employees be applied to them as well. The employees have complained that nativity was not being taken into consideration as per the Presidential Order of 2018 and that the process followed for allocation of husband-wife employees was not clear.

He also said that complaints received included concerns about reorganisation of employees of the two Telugu-speaking States as per the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act of 2014, which was still not completed, and would be difficult to complete if nativity is taken into consideration as per GO 317.

Naga Shaurya, Ritu Varma’s ‘Varudu Kaavalenu’ gets OTT release date

Just weeks after its theatrical release, Naga Shaurya and Ritu Varma starrer ‘Varudu Kaavalenu’ will stream on an OTT from January 7, 2022. Directed by debutant Lakshmi Sowjanya, the film, which was released in theatres on October 29, 2021, is a love story of two youngsters with different mindsets.
While Ritu Varma’s character is a perfectionist who always wants the best and is unsatisfied with all the men she meets in matchmaking sessions, Naga Shaurya plays a calm person, who is deeply in love with Ritu Varma and he never misses an opportunity to impress her.
‘Varudu Kaavalenu’ was bankrolled by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments. While S Thaman is composing music for the movie, Patchipulusu Vamsi and Vishnu Sarma are the cinematographers. Navin Nooli edited the flick. Besides Naga Shaurya and Ritu Varma, the film featured Murali Sharma, Nadhiya, Jayaprakash, Vennela Kishore, Praveen, Kireeti Damaraju, Himaja, Harsha Vardhan and Kalyani Natarajan in key roles.

Naga Shaurya was last seen in ‘Lakshya,’ which hit the screens on December 10. Ketika Sharma was seen as his girlfriend in the highly emotional sports drama. Jagapathi Babu, Sachin Khedekar, and others are seen in vital roles. Presented by Sonali Narang, the film is produced by Narayan Das K. Narang, Puskur Ram Mohan Rao, Sharrath Marar under Sree Venkateswara Cinemas LLP, and Northstar Entertainment Pvt Ltd banners.

Ram Charan rings in Christmas celebrations with his star cousins

Tollywood stars seem to have had a wonderful Christmas celebration at home. Many of them decked up their homes, decorated the Xmas tree and spent time with their loved ones. For Tollywood’s ‘mega’ family, it was an opportunity to catch up with their cousins. Actors Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Varun Tej, Sai Dharam Tej, Vaisshnav Tej and Niharika Konidela got together to ring in Christmas celebrations. Taking to social media, Ram Charan shared a group picture with all his cousins, captioning it, “#Christmas nights.” Earlier, Charan and Upasana rang in Christmas eve at their home with a beautifully decorated white Christmas tree. Giving them company were their adorable pets Brat, Brittney, Natasha, Ben, and Rhyme, who also dressed up for the festivities.
Ram Charan is currently promoting his upcoming film RRR with Jr NTR and Rajamouli. Meanwhile, Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rise turned out to be the highest grosser in 2021 and the actor will soon hit the sets again to begin shoot for the film’s second part, Pushpa: The Rule.
