The core issue remains the repayment of large sums owed to multiple lenders. Despite continuous discussions involving Nizam distributor Dil Raju, Balakrishna’s relative Dr. Surendra, and others, no viable solution has emerged to overcome the financial crisis. As a result, the team was unable to announce a new release date on Monday as well.
In an attempt to ease the financial strain on the producers, Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Sreenu have reportedly agreed to compromise on their remunerations. They were not paid their full dues and agreed to forgo the remaining amounts to help reduce the burden.
However, the overall liabilities—including the dues tied to Eros International, which filed the case in the Madras High Court—now exceed ₹60 crore, making the situation even more complicated and delaying the film’s release further.
