Sundeep Kishan has been roped in as the lead, and he is expected to appear in a completely new and powerful avatar, marking a significant shift from his usual roles.
The recently released announcement poster has already sparked curiosity. Featuring a face-off between a lion and a wolf, it hints at a strong, intense narrative. The makers are aiming for a grand cinematic experience with high production values and extensive VFX work.
This project is said to be one of the most expensive films in Sundeep Kishan’s career so far. It is being planned as a pan-India venture, targeting audiences across multiple languages.
The shoot is expected to commence in August 2026, with more details regarding the cast and crew likely to be revealed in the coming months.

Earlier, the ace director also lauded the film’s overall execution, stating that while he loved Dhurandhar, the sequel surpassed it in both scale and soul. He praised the writing, casting, technical brilliance, music, world-building, and direction, calling them flawless, while emphasizing that the emotional stakes truly elevate the film.
Rajamouli further commended director Aditya Dhar for his vision and courage in delivering a nearly four-hour-long cinematic experience that keeps audiences engaged till the very end.
He also showered praise on Ranveer Singh, calling his performance exceptional, particularly highlighting the emotionally intense sequence with his sister and the gripping climax, where he portrayed dual shades with brilliance.
The Dhurandhar franchise has now emerged as one of the most talked-about cinematic ventures in recent times. The first part created a strong impact with housefull shows across the country, while the sequel, released on March 19, has taken both the box office and social media by storm.
