Modi changes five CMs in six months
In what is being seen as the absolute authority that the Prime Minister enjoys over the party and its leaders, he has changed five chief ministers in six months and has rehabilitated only one Chief Minister of the five that he had sent packing.
Several BJP CMs are said to be spending sleepless nights not knowing when Modi will strike. Modi is said to be taking non-performance, ineffective leadership, anti-incumbency, dissidence and winnability into account while taking action against the Chief Minister. He is particularly unrelenting on the states that are going to polls.
The first CM to be shown the door is Trivendra Singh Rawat. An RSS Pracharak, Rawat failed to protect the party interests. He was succeeded by Lok Sabha member Tirath Singh Rawat. But, he was sent out within four months. The present CM is Pushkar Singh Dhami. The BJP will go to polls in Uttarakhand under the leadership of Dhami.
The next CM to go was Sarbananda Sonowal of Assam. He was a successful CM and the party went to polls under his leadership. But, the party had decided to make Himantha Biswa Sarma as the CM and sent Sarbananda to Central politics. The next CM to go was Karnataka’s Yediyurappa. He was replaced by Baswaraj Patil. The latest to go is Vijay Rupani, the CM of Modi’s home state of Gujarat, was sent packing on Saturday. There are speculations that some more CMs could also be changed in view of the fact that eight states are going to polls next year.

Sai Dharam Tej met with an accident while he was driving a high-end bike on Durgam Cheruvu Cable Bridge. It is said that the hero lost control on his bike due to the mud on the road. However, there is no clarity on this.

Pawan Kalyan should be active in Politics: Ex-Janasena Leader
Tollywood Hero, Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan is sailing in two boats. One is movies and the other one is politics. However, there is an opinion among the political circles and observers that more than movies, Pawan Kalyan should focus on politics so that he can succeed. A former Janasena leader also expressed the same views.
Former joint director of Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and Ex- Janasena leader V V Laxminarayana in his recent interview said that Pawan Kalyan should take an active role and focus on politics full-time. The same should be done regularly, he said.
When asked about joining the Janasena before the elections, V V Laxminarayana said he had decided to join Janasena as he felt that Janasena is different compared to other parties. The party’s ideology matches mine, he said.
I had managed to get a good share of votes from the Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency, he maintained.
I had decided to exit Janasena as I could not adjust in the party. Politicians should be active in politics. It has to be agreed that Janasena has a good ideology. But the ideology has to be taken to the public and they should be educated on various policies, he said.
V V Laxminarayana also gave his opinion on the alliance of Janasena with the BJP. He opined that Pawan Kalyan had his reasons for this, but making an alliance will restrict the outfit to certain limitations, he added.
He had concluded the interview saying that he would contest the forthcoming general elections in Andhra Pradesh. I am yet to decide on whether to contest the elections as an independent candidate or join any political outfit or launch my own party. I will announce the details when the right time arrives.
Cops Issue Statement on Sai Dharam Tej’s Accident!
Tollywood hero Sai Dharam Tej met with an accident a couple of days ago. He was shifted to hospital and Sai Dharam Tej is undergoing treatment. The health bulletin released on Saturday said the hero is responding well to the treatment and his organs are working.
However, the accident news gave rise to a lot of questions and doubts on how the accident took place and what are the reasons that are behind the road mishap. The media channels are also giving contrasting reasons for the accident.
In this backdrop, the cops cleared all the airs on the accident and said at the time of the accident Sai Dharam Tej was driving his bike at a higher speed than the prescribed speed limit on the road where the mishap took place.
Madhapur DCP Venkateshwarlu said, while the prescribed limit was 30 km, Sai Dharam Tej drove his bike at a speed of 72kmph. Earlier too, a fine was imposed on Sai Dharam for overspeeding, he said.
He added that a case of rash and negligent driving is also filed against the actor. The case was filed at the Raidurgam police station going by the outcome of the evidence, he maintained.
Sai Dharam Tej tried to overtake an autorickshaw on the road. While doing so, the bike lost control. Due to this, Sai Dharam Tej and his vehicle were dragged on the road, the DCP added.
Inside Story: Gopichand’s third film with creative filmmaker on cards?
Gopichand regained his lost mojo with Seetimaarr. The film opened on an excellent note at the ticket counters across the twin Telugu states. Seetimaarr is the bigger opener in Indian cinema following the second wave of Covid.
Now, Gopichand is lining up another interesting project. This time, he is likely to work with a creative filmmaker, with whom he had worked two times in the past.
Apparently, Gopichand is in talks with Chandrasekhar Yeleti for a potential collaboration. The duo had previously worked together for Okkadunnadu and Sahasam, both of which were critically acclaimed films.
As per our sources, Gopichand and Chandrasekhar Yeleti are in talks for the third collaboration. The latter is busy with the script work currently and he will be approaching Gopichand with the final draft soon.
The project will materialize if Gopichand likes the script penned by Chandraskehar Yeleti.

సాయి ధరమ్ తేజ్ యాక్సిడెంట్ నేపథ్యంలో పోలీసులు కేసు నమోదు చేశారు. కేసును విచారణ జరుపుతున్న మాదాపూర్ డీసీపీ వెంకటేశ్వరులు మీడియాతో మాట్లాడాడు. ఎల్బీ నగర్ కు చెందిన అనీల్ అనే వ్యక్తి నుండి సాయి ధరమ్ తేజ్ ట్రంప్ బైక్ ను కొనుగోలు చేయడం జరిగింది. ఇంకా అనీల్ పేరు మీదే ఆ బైక్ ఉంది. ట్రంప్ బైక్ పై హై స్పీడ్ చలానా లు గతంలో ఉన్నాయి. యాక్సిడెంట్ సమయంలో ఆయన స్పీడ్ 75 కిమీ ఉన్నట్లుగా పేర్కొన్నాడు.
రూల్ ప్రకారం ఆ రోడ్డు మీద 30 కిమీ వేగంతో వెళ్లాల్సి ఉందని ఆయన పేర్కొన్నారు. కేబుల్ బ్రిడ్జీ మీద ఆయన 100 కిలో మీటర్ల వేగంతో కూడా ప్రయాణించినట్లుగా పేర్కొన్నాడు. మొత్తానికి అతి వేగంతోనే సాయి ధరమ్ తేజ్ ఉన్నట్లుగా పోలీసులు చెబుతున్నారు. ట్రాఫిక్ లో కూడా 75 వేగం అంటే మామూలు విషయం కాదు. ఆ ట్రాఫిక్ మరియు రోడ్డు తీరకు సాయి ధరమ్ తేజ్ 40 నుండి 50 స్పీడ్ తో వెళ్లి ఉంటే యాక్సిడెంట్ అయ్యేది కాదు అనేది పోలీసుల వాదన.
Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia bullish on BJP’s progress in Telangana
HYDERABAD: Union Minister for Civil Aviation Jyotiraditya Scindia said on Saturday that the TRS had failed to gain trust and love from the people of Telangana, which was the reason why BJP was making steady inroads into the people’s hearts.
Addressing media persons at the BJP’s party headquarters at Nampally, he said from winning just one seat in the 2018 elections to the Legislative Assembly, the party had made considerable gains in the Parliamentary elections, where it won 4 MP seats, which constituted 25 per cent of the seats.
He pointed out that in the GHMC elections, despite contesting in only 100 seats, the party had won 48, or nearly 50 percent of them, which which was also a considerable gain, and had followed it up by emerging victorious in the Dubbaka byelection.
Rubbishing allegations that Central Ministers visiting and praising the State government was adversely affecting the party cadre’s morale, he said such narrow-minded people needed to think beyond politics, as the ultimate goal was to work for the larger interests of the country by rising above politics.
Balakrishna heading to Goa for Akhanda
Nandamuri Balakrishna is close to wrapping up Akhanda, which is in final leg of shoot. Barring a couple of songs a minor talkie portion, the entire shoot has been wrapped up already.
Now, Balakrishna, and team Akhanda is set to leave to Goa for the final schedule of the film. The entire filming part will be completed with this schedule.
This Goa schedule is expected to go on for around 2 weeks. If that is the case, it would be really interesting to see if Akhanda will actually make it to theatres this Dasara season, as speculated earlier.
Akhanda shoot is expected to be wrapped up only by the end of this month. The makers are expected to announce the release date very soon.
Akhanda is a powerful action thriller directed by Boyapati Sreenu. The film has Balakrishna and Pragya Jaiswal in the lead roles.
