PK condemns restrictions on Vinayaka Chaturthi celebrations

Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan has once again lashed out at the attitude of the Andhra Pradesh government. He strongly objected to imposing restrictions on Vinayaka Chaturthi celebrations. He advised the government to withdraw the restraints immediately.

Recently, the Andhra Pradesh government, led by CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy imposed restrictions on erecting Vinayaka idols in public places during the festive season. In a move to prevent the approaching COVID-19 third wave, the government allowed people to celebrate the festival in their homes and temples.

However, the decision of the AP government has been receiving criticism from opposition leaders. Pawan Kalyan questioned Jagan over not placing any restrictions on YSRCP leaders’ birthday celebrations, but limiting them only to Vinayaka Chaturthi celebrations. He also alleged that Jagan’s orders are a threat to the Hindu culture and tradition of celebrating the festival.

Coming to the topic, Tuck Jagadish is now set for early premieres on Amazon Prime Video. The film will be made available for streaming on the platform from 7 PM on 9th September. This is the first time the platform is streaming its original content much in advance of the scheduled time.

Tuck Jagadish is touted to be an action oriented family drama. The film is directed by Shiva Nirvana and it has Ritu Varma and Aishwarya Rajesh in the lead roles.

Powerful title locked for Ram Charan’s RC15

Ram Charan and Shankar’s RC15 is set to be launched today and the makers have organized a grand launch event for the film. The launch event will commence at 10:15 AM at Annapurna Studios today.

Coming to the topic, interesting speculation about RC15’s title is now going viral on social media.

Apparently, the makers of RC15 have locked ‘Viswambhara’ as the title of the film. While a few say that the word translated to Earth, others say it translates to a rebellious man, who stops at nothing to fight for what he wants.

RC15 is tipped to be a powerful political thriller that takes a dig at the modern-day political infrastructure. The film has Kiara Advani in the female lead role. Thaman composes the music for the much-awaited celluloid.

RC15′ regular shooting is expected to commence by the end of September. An official announcement on the same is awaited though.

HYDERABAD: Reminding Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao that Telangana was a ‘revenue surplus’ State at the time of bifurcation, TPCC chief A Revanth Reddy blamed the former for the condition of the State which is now facing a financial crisis. He demanded that the government release a white paper on the State’s economic and financial situation. Reacting to news of protest by Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidhyalaya teachers, who have not been paid salaries for past one year, he wondered if the State was facing a financial crisis. He asked as to why the State government failed to resolve the problems of teachers and clear their salaries.

With big heroes battling it out during the Sankranti season, the movie lovers are excited for January already but they are not able to see what is right in front of them. It is going to be the battle of brothers this Dusshera season. Two sets of brothers are locking heads against each other and it will be an interesting watch to see who emerges out as a winner.

First, we have the ‘Panjaa’ brothers who are arriving at the same time. Sai Dharam Tej’s political thriller ‘Republic’ is arriving on October 1st while Vaisshnav Tej is hitting the screens with his ‘Konda Polam’ on 8th October. While ‘Republic’ is a film that revolves around politics, Vaisshnav’s film is a rural drama. They are quite different from each other and directors like Deva Katta and Krish are known for their unorthodox stories which doesn’t make this much of a battle.

But the case is different with the ‘Akkineni’ brothers. Akhil announced that his ‘Most Eligible Bachelor’ will be hitting the screens on 8th October. What is interesting is that both Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Love Story’ and Akhil’s film fall in the same genre and cater to the same set of youth and family audiences. While ‘Love Story’ is clearly a step ahead when it comes to craze due to big names like Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi and Sekhar Kammula, we cannot underestimate Akhil’s romantic comedy as it features Pooja Hegde and is produced by ‘GA2 Pictures’ banner.

Both set of brothers are arriving in such a short time and it is to be seen which of these end up as winner though we hope all of them become successful.

Team India star cricketer, Shikhar Dhawan has divorced his wife Ayesha Mukherjee after 8 years of marriage. The couple has announced that they have parted ways. They have cited compatibility issues as the reason behind their separation.

Dhawan and Ayesha tied the knot back in 2012. Dhawan adopted two daughters of Ayesha from her previous marriage. The couple then welcomed a baby boy Zoravar.

Ayesha was a boxer by profession before she married Shikhar Dhawan. Not so long ago, Dhawan and Ayesha dropped couple goals with their dynamism. They were often spotted enjoying each other’s company. But as it appears, things didn’t pan out quite as planned.

“I THOUGHT DIVORCE WAS A DIRTY WORD UNTIL I BECAME A 2 TIME DIVORCEE.,” a part of Ayesha’s statement about the divorce read.

Dhawan is now training for the forthcoming season of IPL that commences on the 19th of this month. He represents Delhi Capitals outfit.

Cong favourite Surekha wants tickets for kin

HYDERABAD: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) is reportedly in a fix since former minister Konda Surekha, who heads the list of most likely party candidates for Huzurabad bypolls, is bargaining for two tickets for her family members in the next Assembly elections.

The TPCC is keen on Surekha given the clout enjoyed by the Konda family in Huzurabad. But to their surprise, the four-time MLA put forth a condition that the party offer her (family) at least two more seats from among Bhupalpaly, Ghanpur and Warangal (East).

“Currently, the TPCC is pondering on this and there is no further progress. The leadership may take some more time to decide as the elections are now postponed and may be held in November,” said a Congress leader.

Sources who were part of MLA Jagga Reddy’s team which was in Warangal on Monday, said: “Konda Surekha wants to secure seats to her entire family, including her daughter Dr Sushmita Patel besides her husband, former MLC and local heavyweight Konda Murali. This poses a challenge for the new TPCC president.”

Shankar-Ram Charan’s film commenced with Muhurtham

The much-awaited film of director Shankar and Mega Power star Ram Charan commenced today with muhurtham in Hyderabad.

The event was attended by the likes of Megastar Chiranjeevi, Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, star director SS Rajamouli, PEN Studios’ Jayantilal Gada, Srikanth, among others.

Chiranjeevi has sounded clapboard for the ‘Mahurat shot’, while Rajamouli switched on the camera. The makers of the film unveiled a new poster in which we can see the main cast and crew donning black suits.

Apart from the lead pair Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, the film also stars Anjali, Jayaram, Naveen Chandra and comedy star Sunil in supporting roles. The film, which is tipped to be a political thriller, will have music scored by SS Thaman and cinematography by Tirru. Sai Madhav Burra is on board for dialogues.

Tentatively titled #RC15, the film marks the 50th venture of Dil Raju’s Sri Venkateswara Creations. It is being made as a pan-Indian project in multiple languages.

KCR’s Tour forces Jagan to plan a Delhi Tour?

Telangana Chief Minister KCR who had earlier scheduled to tour in the national capital Delhi for three days had made a few changes to his tour and extended his tour. He is said to have appealed to the Union Government to look into the water disputes between the Telugu States.

KCR’s meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Jal Sakthi Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat had raised the opinion that he discussed the water issues with the trio.

With his counterpart being a step ahead in dealing with the water disputes, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had swung into action to take his version to the Union Government on the Krishna and Godavari river water disputes.

It is said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is using all the possible ways to get his appointment fixed with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah to discuss the issues about the interests of Andhra Pradesh.

On the other hand, it is also said that Jagan is likely to discuss other issues like asking for more funds for the state and urge the Union Government to finance related matters of the state.

He might also seek help from the Centre on the Three Capitals Issue that has been pending for a long time. The YSRCP is strong on its idea to decentralize development by having three capitals for the state.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy might also raise a complaint with the Centre against Rebel MP Raghurama Krishnam Raju who has been a thorn in the flesh for the government.

The issues the BJP has with the other States like West Bengal and Tamil Nadu gave a chance to the two Telugu States to be in a rather demanding position as the Centre wants help from two states in Parliament at the time of passing of the crucial bills.

As both States are having cordial relationships with the Union Government, it’s interesting to know whom the BJP will favor now. To end the water disputes, the Centre had earlier brought a gazette notification, under which the respective river management boards will have control of the irrigation projects.
