We’ll spew hatred if they pander to Muslims: Telangana BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar
In a shocking admission, BJP State president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Monday said that his party would “definitely provoke communal hatred” if the TRS continued to woo “a community that constituted 12 per cent of the electorate” — an obvious reference to Muslims. Sanjay Kumar did not stop at that. He said that after the BJP came to power in 2023, it would confiscate all of Nizam’s properties in the State and hand them over to the Hindu Samaj.
The Karimnagar MP made these highly controversial statements while addressing a whistle-stop public meeting near Are Maisamma temple on Hyderabad’s outskirts on the third day of his ‘Praja Sangrama Yatra’. Sanjay Kumar said, “We have taken up the Praja Sangrama Yatra to focus on the issues faced by the people. Our party is being branded as one that is bent on provoking communal hatred and we will definitely do so if the TRS tries to cozy up to the outfits that represent Muslims.” The BJP leader was making a veiled reference to the AIMIM.
“The BJP will not be on the back foot in uniting Hindus, who account for 80 per cent of the population,” he added. Sanjay Kumar wanted to know how the TRS and the Congress could call themselves “secular parties” when they were “stooping down” to get the votes of a minority community.
Nani focusing on theatrical releases
Nani is possibly the only mainstream Telugu hero to have 2 direct to digital releases. While his ‘V’ premiered on Amazon Prime Video later last year, his upcoming outing Tuck Jagadish will be releasing on the same platform on the 10th of September this year.
Nani is vexed with the OTT release prospect. He is an ardent supporter of the theatrical industry and hoped to release Tuck Jagadish in theaters. But the conditions dictated otherwise and the film is going the OTT way.
Incidentally, Nani has shifted his focus onto theatrical releases now. He is determined to promote both his upcoming theatrical outings Shyam Singha Roy and Ante Sundaraniki in the most aggressive way possible.
Shyam Singh Roy will be Nani’s immediate next theatrical outing and he will come out all guns blazing while promoting the film. He plans to have at least two theatrical releases in 2022 to make up for Tuck Jagadish’s OTT outing this year.

What have you done for Karimnagar: Finance Minister T Harish Rao to MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar
KARIMNAGAR: Several BJP and Congress workers, belonging to Narsingapur village, joined the TRS during a programme that was attended by Finance Minister T Harish Rao, on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Harish exuded confidence that the pink party would win the bypoll with a thumping majority.
Questioning State BJP president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar as to what he has done for his Parliamentary constituency so far, Harish asserted that there is no use in voting for the BJP. “Before asking for votes, you (Sanjay Kumar) should focus on bringing the `5,000-crore package that was promised to Telangana by the Centre,” Harish said.
Meanwhile, several Congress and TRS activists, along with a group of Kakatiya University students, joined the saffron fold in Kamalapur mandal on Monday. They were welcomed by former minister Eatala Rajender.

Rajamouli’s Mega Multi-starrer With Ram Charan and Allu Arjun?
Very few people would question the fact that Rajamouli is the finest commercial filmmaker in Indian cinema now. The way he blends larger than life stories with commercial elements is a gifted trait. His previous outings, the Baahubali duology show that he really is a creative genius. Rajamouli’s immediate next outing, RRR too is a multi-starrer. Jr NTR and Ram Charan play the lead roles in this mega periodic action drama that revolves around the fictional journeys of legendary freedom fighters, Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem, played by Ram Charan and Jr NTR respectively.
If the latest buzz is to go by, Tollywood top production house Geetha Arts is planning to set up a mega multi-starrer project with Ram Charan and Allu Arjun. The Allu Aravind-led production house wants none other than Rajamouli to helm the project. Geetha Arts are even ready to offer Rajamouli a multi-crore contract if he is ready to come on board for the project. The production has gotten in touch with Rajamouli and they are awaiting his response on the same, suggest reports.
Well, this rumor might sound a bit too farfetched for now, it cant be written off completely as we don’t know when things can fall into place at a surprisingly quick pace in the film industry. Sensational combinations are often materialized at a rather quick pace. So, while Rajamouli, Ram Charan, and Allu Arjun collaboration might sound farcical now, it might actually take shape in the future. If the project actually consolidates, then it could drive mega fans crazy as watching Ram Charan and Allu Arjun share the screens, and that too in a Rajamouli directorial can make for a visual extravaganza.
Rajamouli’s immediate next project after RRR is an actioner with Mahesh Babu in the central role. This project might start rolling later next year. Rajamouli will decide on his next project only after is done with Mahesh Babu’s film. Until then, any speculation pertaining to his upcoming projects can be regarded only as a mere rumor. It remains to be seen if Rajamouli would actually direct Ram Charan and Allu Arjun in a mega multi-starrer.

Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao leaves it to ECI to take call on Huzurabad bypoll
HYDERABAD: The ruling TRS has left the decision on conducting the Huzurabad bypoll to the Election Commission of India (ECI). After the ECI, in the wake of Covid-19, sought the views of the political parties on conducting bypolls across the country, TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao wrote a letter to the ECI.
According to sources in TRS, in the letter, Rao stated that the Covid-19 situation was under control in the State. Rao, however, left the choice of whether to conduct the bypoll or not to the ECI. The TRS chief neither wanted the ECI to postpone the bypoll, nor did he request them to conduct the poll, a TRS leader told Express.
The ECI, in its letter to all the parties, had requested that suggestions may be furnished to the ECI by August 30, so that exhaustive guidelines in this matter may be prepared. It may be recalled here that when the ECI had sought the views of the State government on conducting of biennial elections to the Legislative Council, the latter wanted the ECI to postpone them. The ECI may take a decision on conducting the Huzurabad bypoll along with West Bengal bypolls.

Sai Kumar turns Telugu tutor for Sai Dharam Tej
As revealed by Sai Dharam Tej himself, veteran actor, Sai Kumar helped him in getting his diction right while mouthing dialogues in his upcoming film.
“There are a fair few lengthy dialogues in Republic. I knew it would be tough for me to get my diction right. So we approached Sai Kumar garu, who is known for mouthing lengthy dialogues effortlessly and with great command. He readily obliged and taught me various nuances in dialogue rendering. His inputs greatly helped me in getting my diction right,” Sai Dharam Tej said.
As it appears, Sai Kumar turned tutor for Sai Dharam Tej and helped the latter get his Telugu diction right while mouthing lengthy dialogues in Republic.
Sai Dharam Tej will be seen as an IAS office in the Deva Katta directorial which is billed to be a social drama. The film is announced for theatrical release on the 1st of October.
