Versatile director Krish Jagarlamudi is always known for making films that showcase the real face of society and life like ‘Gamyam’, ‘Vedam’, Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum’. He might have made some biopics and big-budget movies in recent times but he is all set to narrate an epic tale with Vaisshnav Tej as the lead.
This interesting project has been named ‘Konda Polam’ and it will be hitting the big screens on 8th October. The team revealed the title along with the first look poster. Vaisshnav looks natural and intense in the poster and we can see that the film is set in the backdrop of a forest. Rakul Preet Singh is the heroine in this movie which was filmed during the first lockdown. Krish completed the shooting at a rapid pace and it was kept under wraps.
The first look poster and the short glimpse which introduces us to Vaisshnav’s character has definitely created a lot of curiosity over this project. Let us see how the film turns out. 90 per cent of Jagan’s ministers to be out?
Is YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inching towards a major move in his political career? Is he planning a massive, unprecedented overhaul of his cabinet? Highly placed sources say that Jagan might even change 90 per cent of his ministers. If this happens, it would be nothing short of a tectonic political shift.
In fact, Jagan had said that he would change 90 per cent of the ministers after two-and-half-years into his government. That is just two to three months away. So, insider sources say that 90 per cent of the ministers would be shown the door. So far, his moves have been revolutionary. He had done away with the policy of MLAs as corporation chairpersons . He had already given the nominated posts on the basis of caste, social equations and other indicators.
As part of his plan, Jagan may take a leaf out of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and effect a major overhaul. If sources are to be believed, at least 90 per cent of the ministers would be replaced. Highly placed sources say that Most of his ministers would be asked to make way for newcomers. Several senior leaders, who have put in years of service for the party, would be rewarded, according to sources. He also reportedly wants the existing ministers to work for the party organisation and strive to make the party victorious again.
If sources are to be believed, Jagan will appoint the outgoing ministers as coordinators between the party and the government. Thus the outgoing ministers would be given key organisational responsibilities. Highly placed sources say that he is planning to have a whole new team of young leaders to work for the coming two-and-a-half years. This will give the party complete success, according to YS Jagan.

Business of Pak human smugglers boom as thousands of Afghanis try to leave after Taliban takeover
KARACHI: Pakistani human smugglers operating in areas bordering Afghanistan are raking in money as thousands of Afghans try to exit their country by clandestine means following the fall of Kabul to the Taliban.
Thousands of Afghans are fleeing Afghanistan to escape the new Taliban regime and seek asylum in different nations, including the US and many European nations, in quest of a better living environment.
“Business has been booming even before the Taliban entered Kabul. We have smuggled in around 1,000 people from across the border since last week and business is booming,” Hameed Gul, who operates from a small town near the Chaman-Spin Boldak border with Afghanistan, said over telephone.
He was reluctant to divulge how much they charge for smuggling the Afghani people into Pakistan, but Hameed was also the only one willing to speak to this correspondent but he also confirmed that there were others like him operating from near border towns.

“These people are afraid of what will happen under the Taliban rule and just want to get out of Afghanistan in whatever way possible and for that they are willing to pay whatever we demand and also be smuggled into Pakistan,” he said.
He said the human smugglers operate clandestinely from border areas and use their own transport to smuggle the Afghanis into Pakistan.
A source, who is aware of this human smuggling racket, said they mostly operate from border areas like Chaman, Chaghi and Badani in the restive Balochistan province.
The source said most of the unofficial refugees tend to move onto Quetta or other Pakistani cities once they are safely in Pakistan and some of them already have relatives working in Karachi or Quetta who are there to support them.
Dr Shah Muhammad Marri, who runs a literary magazine out of Quetta, said that the smuggling of Afghans have been taking place even before the Taliban took over.
“This influx of people from Afghanistan has been going on even before the Taliban takeover of Kabul,” he said.
“I think this year alone some 55,000 Afghanis have already entered Pakistan via Balochistan, mostly children and women, as they just want to flee the war and conflict there,” he said.

US health officials say it is “very clear” the vaccines’ protection against infections wanes over time.
They announced plans to dispense COVID-19 booster shots to all Americans to shore up their protection against the surging delta variant.
The doses could begin the week of September 20.

MLA and a party loyalist for years Vemula Veeresham planning to join the Bahujan Samaj Party in Telangana? Sources say Veeresham, who was an MLA during 2014-2018 period, is unhappy with the way the party is ignoring him. Veeresham is said to be in touch with BSP leader and former IPS officer RS Praveen Kumar.
Veeresham had lost the 2018 election from Nakrekal and Congress candidate Chirumarthi LIngaiah had won. In the later developments, Lingaiah had joined the TRS. The TRS had given all the responsibilities of the constituency to Chirumarthy Lingaiah. This has left Veeresham totally marginalised. Lingaiah carefully omitted Veeresham’s nominees in municipal and local body elections. Left with no option, Veeresham had put up rebel candidates in Nakrekal municipal elections on Forward Block ticket. Six of his candidates have won.
However, even this show of strength did not impress the TRS bosses. Left with no option, Veeresham kept a low profile. He continued to hold party meetings and stage programmes, but the party gave primacy only to Chirumarthy Lingaiah. With no prospects in the party, Veeresham began looking for other option. He has recently extended all help to RS Praveen Kumar in holding a meeting in Nalgonda. This, the political analysts say, is part of his plans to join the BSP in future. As of now, the party has reportedly taken a serious view of Veeresham’s support to RSP. Let’s wait and see how things unfold in Nakrekal.
