MLC Duvvada Srinivas Detained in Farmhouse Party Raid
Andhra Pradesh MLC Duvvada Srinivas and his companion Madhuri were detained late Thursday night after the Rajendranagar Special Operations Team (SOT) raided a birthday celebration at The Pendent farmhouse in Moinabad.
According to police sources, the party involved the consumption of alcohol without the required permissions. Acting on credible information that liquor was being served in violation of excise norms, the SOT team, along with Rajendranagar police, conducted a surprise inspection.
During the raid, officials reportedly seized a significant number of liquor bottles along with other suspected contraband items. The event was organised to celebrate Madhuri’s birthday. She has been in a live-in relationship with Srinivas since 2024, following his separation from his family.
Police stated that the farmhouse party, hosted by Srinivas and attended by several YSRCP leaders, was conducted without authorization and violated multiple excise regulations. The joint operation resulted in the immediate halt of the celebration, with all seized materials documented as evidence.
Both Srinivas and Madhuri were taken into custody for questioning. Officials said that a detailed investigation is underway to determine whether any further violations occurred during the event.
