Ram Charan’s Peddi Release Date Rumours Spark Buzz, SKN Clarifies Confusion

Share

Ram Charan’s upcoming film Peddi has become the subject of widespread speculation on social media, with rumours suggesting a possible release postponement from April 20 to June 25, 2026. However, the makers have not issued any official confirmation regarding the change in date.

The buzz intensified after producer S. Krishna (SKN) made comments at a promotional event for Chennai Love Story, which quickly went viral and led to confusion among fans about a potential delay. Following the reaction, SKN later clarified the situation and addressed the misinterpretation.

He explained that during discussions about Chennai Love Story, writer and co-producer Sai Rajesh mentioned seeing online speculation about a new release date for Peddi. Based on that, he advised caution until the Peddi team officially confirms their plans. SKN admitted that he momentarily misunderstood the audience reaction at the event, assuming a date might have already been finalised.

He further apologised for the confusion, stressing that any official announcement regarding Peddi’s release would come only from the production house. He also clarified that his intention was simply to avoid box office clashes and ensure a suitable release window for his own film.

Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced under Vriddhi Cinemas, Peddi also features music composed by A. R. Rahman. The team is expected to announce an official update on the release date soon.

Niharika Konidela Responds to Trolling Over Rakasa Production Choices

Share

Actress and producer Niharika Konidela is actively promoting her upcoming film Rakasa, starring Sangeeth Sobhan and Nayan Sarika in lead roles. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on April 3, 2026.

At the film’s pre-release event held on Monday, Niharika spoke candidly about the constant trolling she has faced as a producer. She recalled that during her debut production Committee Kurrollu, critics questioned her decision to work with newcomers instead of established stars. Now, with Rakasa, she says the criticism has shifted to why she is not continuing in the same path and instead opting for a VFX-heavy project.

She emphasized that such comments never stop regardless of the choices she makes. “People will always have something to say,” she noted, adding that she has chosen to move forward with confidence and focus on her growth as a producer with every project.

Niharika also highlighted the importance of her production house, Pink Elephant Pictures, stating that it holds as much value to her as her Konidela family legacy. She affirmed her commitment to continue making films she believes in, despite criticism and online trolling.

Nithiin Teams Up with New Directors for Comeback Film with Sithara Entertainments

Share

After films like Ishq and Bheeshma briefly revived the career of Nithiin, the actor has struggled to maintain consistent box office success in recent years.

Despite attempting several high-budget entertainers such as Extra Ordinary and Thammudu, the results have not met expectations, leaving the actor at a crucial turning point in his career. While he has been in discussions with both established and emerging directors, nothing concrete has materialized so far.

Nithiin was also expected to collaborate with Vikram Kumar and other successful filmmakers after stepping away from the project Yellamma for undisclosed reasons. However, most of these potential collaborations remain in the discussion stage.

Reports now suggest that he has finally locked a new project with Sithara Entertainments. The film is said to be directed by a duo of newcomers who previously worked on short films, marking an interesting shift in his approach toward fresh talent.

In today’s evolving film landscape, where audiences are increasingly favoring strong content-driven narratives with commercial appeal, Nithiin’s next move is being closely watched. With his new collaboration, the actor is aiming for a much-needed comeback, and it remains to be seen whether this project will help him regain his earlier success streak.

Aamir Khan’s Mahabharat Dream Project May Be Revived Soon

Share

In the era of big-budget pan-India cinema, filmmakers are increasingly aiming to create stories with nationwide and global appeal. One of the most ambitious among them is Aamir Khan, who has long envisioned bringing the epic Mahabharat to the big screen in a grand cinematic format.

This dream project is not new. Aamir Khan first expressed interest in adapting Mahabharat several years ago, with the intention of presenting the epic in a detailed and visually rich manner. Given the scale and complexity of the story, the project required extensive research, careful planning, and a structured narrative approach.

Around 2010, early discussions reportedly began, focusing on script development and cultural accuracy. The team also explored the possibility of adapting the epic into multiple parts rather than a single film, considering its vast storyline and numerous characters.

By 2015, Aamir Khan revealed his desire to portray Lord Krishna, while planning to introduce fresh faces for other key roles. This reinforced his vision of reimagining the epic with a modern cinematic approach.

Following the success of Secret Superstar, the project gained renewed attention and evolved into an even larger concept—an eight-part cinematic series featuring high-end VFX, international-level production values, and a massive ensemble cast. However, the project eventually faced hurdles, primarily due to its enormous budget and logistical challenges, leading to a temporary pause.

Now, after a long gap, reports suggest that Aamir Khan is once again considering reviving the Mahabharat project. If it materializes, it has the potential to become one of the most ambitious and landmark cinematic ventures in Indian film history.

Amaravati Capital Debate Intensifies Amid Political Clash in Andhra Pradesh

Share

The debate over Andhra Pradesh’s capital continues to intensify, with fresh political exchanges once again bringing Amaravati into focus.

It is widely noted that the proposal of a “Three Capitals” system was strongly opposed by the public, with critics claiming that the idea faced rejection even in key regions like Visakhapatnam. Against this backdrop, the current government under N. Chandrababu Naidu is reportedly working towards giving Amaravati stronger legal backing to ensure long-term stability for the capital.

As part of this effort, a resolution has already been passed in the State Assembly and sent to the Central Government, with plans to include Amaravati in the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation framework. The move is aimed at ensuring that any future change to the capital would require Parliamentary approval, thereby increasing investor confidence and reducing uncertainty.

However, leaders of the YSR Congress Party have continued to question the government’s focus on Amaravati, arguing that excessive emphasis on the capital could slow down balanced regional development. Senior leaders have raised concerns about borrowing levels, allocation of funds, and whether other regions are being neglected in the process.

YSR Congress leaders have also pointed out that capital cities in history have changed over time, suggesting that no location should be considered permanent. They argue that development should be more evenly distributed across the state rather than concentrated in one region.

In response, supporters of Amaravati say that ongoing statements from opposition leaders are creating confusion among farmers, investors, and the public, potentially affecting long-term development plans. They believe that repeated political uncertainty could impact confidence in the capital region.

Political observers note that despite the 2024 election results, the capital issue continues to remain a highly sensitive and divisive topic in Andhra Pradesh politics, with both sides holding firm positions on the future of Amaravati.

Peddi Release Date Uncertainty Continues, Fans Await Official Update

Share

Uncertainty continues to surround the release of Peddi, putting the makers under pressure to issue a clear official update at the earliest.

The film, starring Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, is one of the most awaited projects and was initially scheduled for release on April 30. However, strong speculation about a possible postponement has led to growing confusion among fans as well as within trade circles.

Backed by Vriddhi Cinemas and directed by Buchi Babu Sana, Peddi has been generating significant buzz, but the lack of clarity on its release date is now seen as affecting its overall momentum.

Industry sources believe an official announcement is crucial at this stage. If the release is being deferred, confirming a new date would help avoid scheduling clashes and allow better planning for other films. Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports suggest a possible new release date of June 26, 2026, though no official confirmation has been made.

With expectations running high, fans are eagerly awaiting clarity, as the team is expected to address the situation soon to sustain the film’s hype and maintain strong pre-release momentum.

Ramayana Trailer Buzz Builds Ahead of April 2 Launch

Share

Bollywood’s ambitious adaptation of the epic Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari, is generating significant attention for its scale, vision, and star-studded cast. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita, the project is already being hailed as one of the most expensive Indian films ever made, with an estimated budget of around ₹4,000 crore.

Despite the massive expectations surrounding it, the film has so far generated only moderate buzz through its promotional material. The makers have released a title announcement video and a 3-minute glimpse titled Ramayana: The Introduction, offering a brief look at Ranbir Kapoor as Rama and Yash as Ravana. However, audiences are still waiting for a clearer sense of how this version will stand apart from earlier adaptations.

With the film’s release scheduled in the coming months, the team is now preparing to unveil the first official trailer on April 2, coinciding with Hanuman Jayanti. The response to this trailer is expected to play a crucial role in shaping global expectations for its Diwali release.

Ahead of the trailer launch, the team hosted a special promotional event in Los Angeles, attended by Ranbir Kapoor, Nitesh Tiwari, and producer Namit Malhotra. A select audience was shown exclusive footage, and early reactions reportedly praised the visuals as breathtaking and highly impressive.

The two-part epic is backed by cutting-edge VFX from DNEG, with music composed by Oscar winners A. R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer. With such a global-scale team, Ramayana remains one of the most awaited cinematic spectacles in Indian cinema, with all eyes now on its upcoming trailer reveal.

Mani Sharma’s Gurutundha Song from Chennai Love Story Wins Hearts

Share

“Melody Brahma” Mani Sharma is back with a soulful classic for the upcoming Telugu film Chennai Love Story.

Starring Kiran Abbavaram and Sri Gouri Priya in the lead roles, the film is directed by Ravi Namburi.

The makers have released a new song titled Gurutundha, which beautifully captures the essence of first love and challenges the usual exaggerated perception of romance. Instead of glamorizing love, the song presents a more realistic emotional depth, highlighting both the joy and pain associated with it.

Penned by Ananth Sriram and sung by Hari Charan and Shruthi Samudrala, the melody stands out for its simplicity and emotional connect. The visuals feature the lead pair sharing heartfelt moments in the rain, along with glimpses of Mani Sharma, Ananth Sriram, and the singers, while a children’s chorus adds a refreshing highlight.

The composition blends traditional melody with a subtle fusion of Telugu and English lyrics, creating a soothing and relatable listening experience. Both the tune and lyrics complement each other, making the song instantly appealing to a wide audience.

Produced by SKN and Sai Rajesh under Amrutha Productions and Mass Movie Makers, Chennai Love Story is gearing up for a grand theatrical release this summer.

Mumbai Auto Drivers Earn More Than Entry-Level Corporate Employees – Viral Debate

Share

Auto-rickshaw drivers in Mumbai are gaining attention for reportedly earning higher incomes than many entry-level corporate employees.

According to former investment banker Utkarsh Verma, some auto drivers in the city are earning around ₹75,000 per month—more than double the average starting salary of ₹30,000 for fresh graduates.

In a viral Instagram post, Verma shared his conversation with an auto driver who claimed to earn nearly ₹2,500 per day after expenses, which totals about ₹75,000 monthly. He noted that this is an average figure for diligent drivers, while some can earn up to ₹1 lakh per month, depending on effort and working hours. The minimum income typically stands around ₹60,000.

Reflecting on his early career, Verma mentioned that his first job after completing B.Tech paid less than what many auto drivers earn today. He also pointed out that the profession offers unique networking opportunities through daily interactions with diverse passengers, unlike typical corporate desk jobs.

However, the discussion has sparked mixed reactions online. Many users emphasized that despite higher earnings, auto driving involves long hours, physical strain, unpredictable schedules, and challenging road conditions such as traffic and extreme weather.

The viral post has fueled a broader debate on income versus job satisfaction, highlighting that while earnings are important, every profession comes with its own set of challenges and trade-offs.

Mahakali: A Crucial Test for Prasanth Varma’s Universe

Share

Director Prasanth Varma is now turning his full attention to his next ambitious project, Mahakali. After the massive success of HanuMan, expectations around his cinematic universe were sky-high. However, several previously announced projects failed to materialize, slowing down the momentum.

One of the biggest setbacks was his planned film with Ranveer Singh, which eventually got shelved. This impacted the overall buzz around his upcoming lineup. Now, Mahakali is being seen as a crucial opportunity for Varma to regain that lost momentum and re-establish confidence in his vision.

Although the film is officially directed by Puja Aparna Kolluru, it is still a part of Prasanth Varma’s cinematic universe, making him the driving force behind its concept and execution. One of the major highlights of the project is the casting of Akshaye Khanna as Shukracharya. His recent surge in popularity, especially after Dhurandhar, has added significant attention to the film.

The makers are also planning a simultaneous release in both Telugu and Hindi, aiming to reach a wider pan-India audience. However, relying solely on an actor’s recent success can be a risky strategy. While Akshaye Khanna is known for his strong performances, the film’s success will ultimately depend on its story and execution.

For Prasanth Varma, Mahakali is more than just another project—it is a major test. A successful outcome could revive faith in his cinematic universe, while a setback might raise questions about his future plans. All eyes are now on how this crucial film shapes his journey ahead.
