R Madhavan recovers from Covid-19; hopeful to resume his work
R Madhavan has been filming for his forthcoming film called ‘Amriki Pandit’ in Bhopal since the last few weeks. Despite stringent safety measures on the sets, he contracted Covid-19 infection. It was found out owing to regular testing conducted for the team allocated by production house.
He was on sets along with co actors Sushmita Mukherjee, Manju Warrier and Godaan Kumar. Nevertheless, sources reveal that none of them are covid positive. Later he got busy with biographical drama ‘Rocketry: the Nambi effect’.
Reportedly, now Madhavan, isolated at home seem to have recovered and is hopeful to resume work.
“Just a few more days to go, then I can get back to working on Rocketry,” shared Madhavan about the film based on the life of NASA scientist Nambi Narayanan, which captured PM Narendra Modi’s interest.
About bouncing back to stable condition after the Covid quarantine Maddy says, “I am feeling much better now. I have just a bit of a cough. I will get myself tested in a couple of days. But I should be fine.”
Allu Arjun’s Pushpa locks optional release date?
Ever since its inception, Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa has piqued the interest of the audience. The first Pan-India venture of the Icon star has been in the shooting for a long time now. With the pandemic and subsequent lockdown, the shooting of the film is already delayed.
Seems like the makers are now locking another release date, as shooting requires more time than expected. The pan-India film is originally slated to release on August 13, 2021.
But the latest reports revealed Pushpa is yet to shoot major sequences, and it needs more time to wrap up the shooting formalities. So, Sukumar is not sure about closing the shoot and release the film for Dasara.
As per reports, the makers now planning to release Pushpa on December 17th before the Christmas weekend. An official announcement regarding the release date would be made soon.
Based on true events, Pushpa revolves around the red sanders heist in the hills of Andhra Pradesh. The film is directed by Sukumar, with sound by Oscar-winner Resul Pookutty.
Inside News: Chiranjeevi’s Acharya to skip May release, New date locked
Megastar Chiranjeevi‘s upcoming film ‘Acharya‘ has caught everyone’s attention since its inception. As Chiru and Ram Charan are sharing the screen space in this film, Mega fans have pinned high hopes and waiting for the big day to witness the father-son combo on the big screens.
‘Acharya’ was supposed to release last summer, but it has been postponed to May 13, because of the delay in shooting.
If the latest reports are believed, ‘Acharya’ is yet again skipping its release date for various reasons. Reports already revealed that the shooting has been delayed and the makers can’t reach the May 13 deadline.
India is already witnessing the second wave of Covid-19 with a record number of cases registering each passing day. The shoot may be more delayed because of this reason.
The recent Maoist ambush in Chhattisgarh is also another reason for the delay of Acharya. With 22 CRPF jawans killed in the Maoist attack, Acharya, which is set on Naxal backdrop, is receiving heat from many organisations.
As per our sources, we came to know that Acharya will be released on August 13. We already reported Pushpa, which locked its release for the same date, will be moving to December due to the delay in the shoot.
Ali’s Bhatt wants to complete RRR shoot first
Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is debuting into the South Indian film industry with Rajamouli’s mega-budget action thriller RRR. She is recovering from Covid now and is expected to get back to work very soon.
Interestingly, Alia wants to complete RRR shoot on a priority basis once she fully recovers from Covid.
The young actress has conveyed her intention to team RRR and asked the production team to plan her schedule accordingly. She wants to join the sets of the project at the earliest.
Rajamouli is impressed with Alia’s keenness to complete RRR and he plans to can the scenes featuring her from the forthcoming schedule itself. In all likelihood, Alia will be completing her portion by early June.
RRR is the most awaited Indian film of the year and it is setting unprecedented records when it comes to pre-release business.
The Rajamouli directorial will be out in theatres on 13th of October. DVV Danayya is producing the project on a humongous budget.
Chiranjeevi and Naga Babu reviews Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab
Pawan Kalyan starrer Vakeel Saab, which is already shaking up the box office, is receiving rave reviews. Almost three years later, Pawan Kalyan’s fans are celebrating with a movie that has a powerful and appreciation worthy story.
Film personalities and celebrities are pouring their opinions and praises on Vakeel Saab. Megastar Chiranjeevi had watched Vakeel Saab in theatres with his wife Surekha and his mother Anjana Devi.
On Saturday, Megastar took to Twitter and reviewed his brother’s movie in enthusiastic terms. He said that the courtroom drama is terrific and riveting.
“Terrific Act by Pawan Kalyan. Riveting courtroom drama with Prakash Raj. Nivetha Thomas, Anjali Ananya lived up to their roles. Thaman and DOP Vinod did a Fab job. Mega family lauds Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab

Earlier Chiranjeevi promised that he would surely watch ‘Vakeel Saab’. Featuring Pawan Kalyan in the titular role, the courtroom drama is the Telugu remake of Bollywood superhit film ‘Pink’. Doosra: Secondary number that keeps one’s personal number away from unsolicited calls
Hyderabad: Eight years ago, then Union finance minister Pranab Mukherjee who was also at the head of multiple empowered groups of ministers, was busy at a meeting. His phone rang.
Mukherjee was enraged after answering the call. The caller did not have any important information to share, but she offered the Union finance minister a loan! It was a pesky call from telemarketers.
Similarly, India’s richest person and Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani too had admitted he got a call offering him a home loan.
The result of the pesky call to Mukherjee was the creation of ‘Do Not Call Register’ (DND). But the experience over the last eight years suggests that it did not offer any respite. This problem became the foundation for a Hyderabad-based innovative telecom-based start-up firm, Doosra, which provides a virtual phone number that could protect people from tele-callers.
“Doosra means ‘second’ in Hindi. It is a virtual mobile number that a user can share with others without compromising on one’s privacy. It is basically a secondary number that keeps your personal number away from unsolicited calls,” said Aditya Vuchi, founder and CEO of Doosra.
Aditya founded the company in May last year after he was asked to furnish his mobile number at the billing desk of a large sporting goods store. Since there was an alternative to the mobile number, he did not complete the purchase.
Doosra is an app-based and subscription-based service. It blocks all calls by default, giving an option to the caller to leave a voice message. If the call was important for the user, he could return the call later on.
If you want to allow certain services like Ola, Uber, Zomato, or Swiggy, the user could mark them as white-list contacts which allow them to call or message you on your Doosra number without being blocked.
When asked about the rationale behind offering the service on the subscription model, Aditya said, “We are clear about our target customers. Privacy is a premium product. And we want to tap the customers who value his or her privacy. Since we don’t want to sell our customer database or depend on advertisements, we opted for the subscription model.”
“There is a great potential for virtual number as it could replace the second SIMs that people have been using for a long time for different purposes. There is a large number of second SIMs in the country, which telecom companies are trying to eliminate. Our basic annual subscription, which works to be Rs59 a month, and the annual PRO subscription that costs Rs 89 a month are more affordable than holding a second SIM,” Aditya said explaining his business model.
Apart from filtering the unsolicited calls, Aditya said people are finding different ways of using the Doosra number. For instance, he said, people wanted to use the Doosra number for Whatsapp, while keeping their main phone number personal. “Our service basically allows you to protect privacy the way you want.”

YCP MPs fears that Jagan will be jailed if the Union govt is questioned: Rammohan Naidu
The Tirupati Lok Sabha elections will be held on April 17. Both the ruling party and the opposition parties are criticizing each other and are vying for the Lok Sabha seat. Political leaders of the respective parties started campaigning on behalf of their candidates.
Recently, TDP MP Rammohan Naidu questioned why the YCP MPs are not questioning the state issues in the Parliament. Rammohan Naidu alleged that YCP MPs could not speak as there are cases on Jagan and Jagan would be imprisoned if the central government was questioned.
Critics say that Jagan’s only idea is how to get out of CBI cases. He said that development in Tirupati had taken place during the reign of Chandrababu and that not a single development program had been undertaken after YCP came into power. He appealed to the voters to make the TDP candidate win in the by-election.

Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab opened to largely positive reviews and an encouraging word of mouth today. The film is on course to have a fruitful weekend at the box office.
Going into the story, Trivikram played a decisive role in the materialisation of Vakeel Saab.
Trivikram initially proposed the prospect of remaking Pink in Telugu and Pawan Kalyan was quick to respond. The star actor then asked Dil Raju to develop Pink subject and in turn, the latter assigned the responsibility to Venu Sriram.
Venu Sriram came up with the remake story and managed to find the perfect balance between the novel story of Pink and the commercial elements which are expected from a Pawan Kalyan starrer. The end result is that Vakeel Saab opened to a positive reception.
Trivikram has always been an integral part of Vakeel Saab and he is one of the main reasons why the project happened.
