అరణ్య కత్తిరింపులు పని చేయలేదు
రానా హీరోగా సల్మాన్ రాజ్ దర్శకత్వంలో రూపొందిన పాన్ ఇండియా మూవీ అరణ్య ఆశించిన స్తాయిలో మెప్పించలేదు అనేది టాక్. రివ్యూలు ఒక మోస్తరుగా సినిమా ఉంది అంటూ వస్తున్నా కూడా అసలు విషయం ఏంటీ అనేది ఇప్పటికే క్లారిటీ వచ్చేసింది. సినిమా అయిదు కోట్లను మించి వసూళ్లు చేయడం సాధ్యం కాకపోవచ్చు అంటున్నారు. ఈ సినిమా లో రానా అడవి మనిషిగా కనిపించాడు. ఇలాంటి పాత్రలు చేసేందుకు ఒప్పుకోవడం నిజంగా చాలా గొప్ప విషయం. కాని రానా ఇంకాస్త బెటర్ గా సినిమా వచ్చేలా చూసి ఉండాల్సిందని అంటున్నారు.
సినిమా ఫైనల్ ఎడిటింగ్ పూర్తి అయిన తర్వాత రెండున్నర గంటలకు పైగా ఉండటంతో నిర్మాత సురేష్ బాబు కాస్త ఆలోచించి ఇది అంత సమయం చూడటం కష్టమే అనుకుని తగ్గించే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడు. సినిమాను విడుదలకు రెండు మూడు రోజులు ఉండగా దాదాపుగా అరగంట పాటు తగ్గించారు. సినిమాలో మరో హీరో విష్ణు విశాల్ ఉన్న సీన్స్ ను మరియు ఏనుగులు ఉన్న సీన్స్ ను తగ్గించారు. రానా పాత్ర విషయంలో కూడా కాస్త ట్రిమ్ చేశారట. అంతగా తగ్గించినా కూడా సినిమా ఫలితం మారలేదు. పాపం రానా చాలా కష్టపడ్డా ఫలితం లేకుండా పోయింది.
Palamuru-Rangareddy irrigation project works going at brisk pace: Telangana minister T Harish Rao
HYDERABAD: The Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Project (PRLIS) will provide water to as many as 12.30 lakh acres in the constituencies of erstwhile Mahbubnagar, Rangareddy and Vikarabad, Finance Minister T Harish Rao said on Friday.
He said that the State government was executing the works at a brisk pace and that targets have been set to complete the works at Uddandapur by December 2021.
The branch canals and balance works are proposed to be completed by 2022-2023. Replying to question raised by G Jaipal Reddy and others during question hour, the minister said that PRLIS will be linked with the Kalwakurthy Lift Irrigation Scheme and Jurala Project with the target of providing irrigation water to every acre in erstwhile Mahbubnagar.
He also said that Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s decision to link the projects would not only help meet irrigation demands, but also extend drinking water to several municipalities and villages under Jurala. As many as 19 Assembly segments will benefit.
‘Overjoyed at NH status for Medak-Siddipet road’
After the Union government issued a gazette notification declaring the 133-km long Medak-Siddipet-Elkathurthy road as a new National Highway, the Finance Minister stated that he was overjoyed. He said that the area would develop commercially with the announcement of the new highway.
The Minister said that despite repeated applications in United Andhra Pradesh, the then governments were not willing to sanction the national highway.
Ar Rahman gives an amusing reply to an anchor during ‘99 songs’ audio launch
Music composer AR Rahman as of late released the much awaited trailer of 99 Songs, a melodic romantic tale that denotes his debut as a story writer and producer. Co-written by Rahman, the film offers a brief glimpse of importance of music in one’s life and why music cannot be considered like any other well known professions.
The music director likewise presented the debutant Ehan Bhat from Kashmir as the musical film’s lead entertainer who shared his screen-space with American entertainer Edilsy Vargas in the melodic film which is scheduled to hit theaters in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu on April 16. The audio launch of 99 Songs was organised on Friday in Chennai.
Furthermore, Rahman, who gives off an impression of being very calm and composed, appeared to be easy going on stage. He gave an amusing reply to an anchor when she introduced Rahman in Tamil wherein welcomed Ethan in Hindi while presenting him in front of the audience. But quickly responded by saying ‘Hindi’?,expecting her to speak in Tamil and walked away with the mic. However, he smiled and said he was just kidding.
Later while speaking about his debut production project , Rahman said, “As part of my production company, YM Movies, I’m happy to collaborate with Jio Studios in bringing together this experiential movie. 99 Songs is about one man’s struggle against the old and the new world. And the antidote is music.”

టాలీవుడ్ తో పాటు కోలీవుడ్ ప్రేక్షకులు ఎంతో ఆసక్తిగా ఎదురు చూస్తున్న చరణ్ మరియు శంకర్ ల కాంబో మూవీ షూటింగ్ ప్రారంభం అయ్యే రోజు దగ్గర్లోనే ఉంది అంటూ ఇండస్ట్రీ వర్గాల ద్వారా సమాచారం అందుతోంది. ప్రస్తుతం ప్రీ ప్రొడక్షన్ వర్క్ లో శంకర్ బిజీగా ఉన్నాడు. సినిమాపై ఉన్న అంచనాల నేపథ్యంలో దిల్ రాజు ఈ సినిమాను పెద్ద ఎత్తున నిర్మించేందుకు వందల కోట్లను సమకూర్చే పనిలో ఉన్నట్లుగా తెలుస్తోంది. ఇదే సమయంలో సినిమా వర్క్ మొత్తం కూడా చెన్నై కేంద్రంగా సాగబోతుంది కనుక అక్కడ ఒక కొత్త ఆఫీస్ ను ఓపెన్ చేశాడని తెలుస్తోంది.
ఇంతకు ముందే చెన్నైలో దిల్ రాజు ఆఫీస్ ఉంది. కాని ఇప్పుడు పెద్దగా చరణ్, శంకర్ ల మూవీ కోసం ప్రత్యేకంగా నిర్మాణ సంస్థ కోసం ఆఫీస్ ను ఓపెన్ చేసినట్లుగా సమాచారం అందుతోంది. దిల్ రాజు ఇప్పటికే దర్శకుడు శంకర్ తో క్లీయర్ గా ఒప్పందం చేసుకున్నాడట. వచ్చే ఏడాది వరకు ఈ సినిమాను పూర్తి చేయాలని, అంతకు మించి ఆలస్యం అయితే పారితోషికంలో కోత ఉంటుందని ఒప్పందం చేసుకున్నారట. అందుకే దర్శకుడు శంకర్ ఆ దిశగా హడావుడిగా సినిమాను చేసే పనిలో ఉన్నాడు అంటూ సమాచారం అందుతోంది.
Telangana: Cadre baffled at restrictions for YS Sharmila’s public meeting in Khammam
KHAMMAM: Though the police have granted permission to YS Sharmila, daughter of former united Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, to organise a public meeting in Khammam on April 9, her followers are baffled by the conditions stipulated by the officials.
According to the conditions, the meeting can be organised only between 6 pm and 9 pm, with a maximum footfall of 6,000 people. The organisers have also been told to ensure that all people who attend the meeting maintain social distancing, sanitise themselves from time to time, and wear masks.
As a result, her activists are now scratching their heads about how to organise the meeting successfully while following all rules. It was after Sharmila announced her decision to contest from the Palair constituency in the next Assembly elections, on Wednesday, that her close follower Lakkeneni Sudhir approached the police seeking permission for organising a meeting at the Pavilion Grounds in the town on April 9.
As the leader is expected to make an announcement on floating her political party on this day, the meeting is of utmost importance for both Sharmila and her followers.
Vedam fame Nagaiah passes away due to illness
Allu Arjun and Manchu Manoj starrer ‘Vedam’ fame Nagaiah has breathed his last on Saturday. He
died of an illness. The leading character artist impressed everyone with his portrayal of many roles and acted in over three dozen films.
Vedam Nagaiah experienced many hardships in real life, like the characters he played. Born in Desavarampeta near Narsaraopeta in the Guntur district, he owned two-acre land there. Unable to work in his village, Nagaiah came to Hyderabad along with his son.
One day he accidentally met producer Radhakrishna and got a chance in ‘Vedam’. Shot to fame with his role in Vedam, Nagaiah changed his surname to ‘Vedam’ Nagaiah.
He has acted in 25 films like Vedam, Nagavalli, Okkadine, Student Star, Ramayya Vasthavayya, Spider among others. He received a remuneration of around Rs 3,000 to Rs 25,000.
However, movies could not feed him and helped him to come out of his problems. His wife died recently because of illness. On the other hand, he even begged at the road of the film industry. When this came to their notice, Telangana Chief Minister KCR provided financial help of Rs. 1 lakh.

Kerala Government’s sensational move to counter Central Agencies!
The Central government Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP) often accused of using central agencies like the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) and National Investigation Agency for their political benefits.
In several instances, we have seen leaders booked by CBI and NIA donning the saffron shawl. After wearing the BJP shawl there will be no issues for the leaders who are facing the cases.
Recently, the Customs Department in God’s Own Country, Kerala has sent shocking waves across the nation with its report on the infamous Gold Smuggling case. The report alleged the role of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
The Kerala government has claimed that the Customs Department prepared the report on Gold Smuggling Case at the behest of the Central Government. The government smells a political angle behind the report.
To take on the Central Agencies that are working on behalf of the Union Government, the Kerala government led by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has decided to prosecute the Central Agencies.
However, locking horns with the Central Agencies is not going to be that easy. As per the rules, the Judicial Commission that will take on the Agencies requires a green signal from the Election Commission.
The Election Commission is also often dubbed as a body that works for the Centre. It is interesting to see how the Election Commission responds to this. If Kerala manages to seek permission to set up the commission, then Kerala sets up an example to other states on how to counter Union Government in dealing with the Central agencies.
‘Rang De’ Takes Off On A Decent Note On Day1!
Youth star Nithiin has come up with ‘Rang De’ this weekend. It is a romantic comedy which was written and directed by Venky Atluri. Keerthy Suresh is the female lead in this film which got a decent buzz around it prior to the release while the response is positive from the very first show.
The feel-good narration and the performances of the lead cast impressed the audience while Devi Sri Prasad’s music also played a key role. On the whole, the film took off on a decent note on its first day. It collected a total share of 4.65 crores from the Telugu states.
It got 1.54 crores from the Nizam area while the collections in the Vizag area were 56 lakhs. The money from East and West Godavari summed up to 83 lakhs while it got 88 lakhs from Krishna and Guntur districts combinedly. The Ceded region brought 60 lakhs while it got 24 lakhs from the Nellore district. While the collections from the rest of India and the overseas market are not yet revealed, looks like ‘Rang De’ got to a decent start.
The theatrical rights were sold for 24 crores. Though there is a long way to go, the extended weekend may help the movie to reach the safe mark.
Paresh Rawal tests positive after receiving Covid-19 vacccine
Versatile Bollywood actor Paresh Rawal on Friday shared to his fans that he has been diagnosed with Covid19. Although such news has become has pretty common the celebs, this time the situation is quite different.
Recently, the actor had got himself vaccinated and had to go for a second dose next month. However, in the interim he has got infected due to the adverse drug reaction. The actor wrote, “Unfortunately, I have tested positive for COVID-19. All those that have come in contact with me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested.”
On March 9, Paresh Rawal had shared that he has received the first jab of the coronavirus vaccine. The 65-year-old actor shared a picture on his twitter handle while giving the victory sign at a vaccine centre. He thanked all doctors, nurses, the front line health care workers and the scientists and also gave a special mention to prime minister Narendra Modi.
His wife and actor Swaroop Rawal also had received the first inoculation of the vaccine nonetheless found to be free from infection.

PM Modi visits centuries-old Kali Matha temple in Bangladesh prays for Covid free world
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to South Asian country Bangladesh. On Saturday, the second of his tour, the Prime Minister visited the famous Jeshoreshwari Kali temple and offered his prayers at the centuries-old temple.
The Centuries-old Kali Matha temple is a popular pilgrimage and devotees at the border visit the temple.
As per the protocol, Narendra Modi got a traditional welcome at the famous temple. He offered prayers to the presiding deity. In the pictures shared by the Ministry of External Affairs, Narendra Modi can be seen placing a Mukut on the Goddess.
After offering prayers to the Goddess, Narendra Modi said he prayed Goddess that the human race should be free from the Covid pandemic soon and called the opportunity to visit the shrine as good fortune.
Narendra Modi said that he had asked the Bangladesh government to allow them to build a community in the temple complex, which will serve the devotees visiting the holy shrine in several ways.
