Prabhas’ The Raja Saab First Single Update Explained by SKN
For the past few weeks, there has been a strong buzz surrounding the first single from Prabhas’ much-awaited horror-comedy The Raja Saab, directed by Maruthi. Fans have been eagerly waiting for the update, flooding social media with requests to the makers. Finally, producer and team member SKN has cleared the air about the delay.
SKN explained that the confusion between the North Indian and Telugu marketing teams regarding the order of song releases has caused the delay. “Ours is a pan-India cinema. North Indian promotions happen differently from ours. We initially wanted to release the ‘Rebel Saab’ song first, but the North Indian distributor suggested a melody number instead,” SKN revealed during an X (Twitter) Space interaction with fans.
He further added that the difference in promotional styles between regions added to the delay. “In the South, we release lyrical videos with just a hook step, keeping the full visuals for the big screen. But in the North, they prefer full video songs before release,” he said.
SKN also confirmed that The Raja Saab will not feature an item song but will include a remix version of a popular vintage Hindi number, which will serve as a treat for audiences. He assured fans that once the discussions are finalised, all songs will be released in a gap of 10–14 days.
The first single is expected to drop in the third or fourth week of November, followed by an aggressive promotional campaign through December. The Raja Saab, produced by People Media Factory, stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, and Riddhi Kumar as the female leads, with music by Thaman S. The film is slated for a grand Pongal release on January 9, 2026.

In a detailed Instagram post, Anupama explained that the issue came to her attention a few days ago when an account began posting inappropriate and fabricated content. “The posts included morphed pictures and baseless allegations. It was deeply distressing to witness such targeted harassment,” she wrote.
Following her complaint, the police investigation traced the source of the harassment to a 20-year-old woman from Tamil Nadu who allegedly managed multiple fake profiles. However, Anupama said she has chosen not to reveal the young woman’s identity due to her age. “I do not wish to compromise her future or peace of mind,” she stated.
The actress confirmed that legal proceedings are in progress and used the incident to stress the importance of responsible online behavior. “Owning a smartphone or having access to social media does not give anyone the right to harass, defame, or spread hatred. Every action online leaves a trace, and accountability will follow,” she wrote.
