Dulquer Salmaan Keeps Lokah Chapter 1 Theatrical

Some producers take unconventional paths that challenge industry norms and set new benchmarks. Aamir Khan famously bypassed OTT platforms for Sitaare Zameen Par, releasing it directly on YouTube, surprising audiences and creating a precedent. Following a similar strategy, Dulquer Salmaan has decided to keep his recent film Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra exclusively in theaters for now.
Directed by Dominic Arun and starring Kalyani Priyadarshan, the film released on August 28 and has been performing strongly at the box office. Its storyline, visuals, and performances have captured nationwide attention. Rumors circulated that it would stream on Netflix from September 26, following the typical four-week theatrical window, especially after Mohanlal’s Hridayapoorvam announced its OTT release on Jio Hotstar on the same date.
However, Dulquer Salmaan clarified that Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra will not release on any digital platform soon. He urged fans to ignore misleading reports and await official announcements. Industry experts see this as a calculated move to maximize box office collections, especially with the upcoming Dasara holidays, when families are likely to flock to theaters.
Reports also indicate that the OTT rights for Lokah are yet to be sold, making this strategy even more intriguing. Much like Aamir Khan’s bold decision years ago, Dulquer’s focus on theatrical dominance has created added excitement and curiosity, ensuring fans will experience Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra on the big screen before any digital release.
Bharathi Reddy Gains Influence in YSR Congress Party

Until the 2019 elections, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy enjoyed the unwavering support of the entire YS family, including his mother Vijayamma and sister Sharmila. Sharmila, in particular, actively campaigned for her brother and managed party activities while Jagan was in jail, earning widespread praise for her dedication.
However, due to business disagreements and subsequent fallouts, Jagan gradually distanced himself from Sharmila and Vijayamma, even filing complaints against them. This rift eventually led Sharmila to take a political stand against Jagan by leading the Congress party in Andhra Pradesh.
With limited trusted allies left in the party, Jagan now appears to be relying heavily on his wife, Bharathi Reddy, to manage the YSR Congress Party (YCP). Reports from leading Telugu media indicate that Bharathi, traditionally removed from direct political engagements, is now actively communicating with top party leaders, often over the phone, discussing party matters and strategy.
Her growing involvement comes against the backdrop of ongoing controversies in Andhra Pradesh, including the liquor scam and speculation about the possible implications for Jagan. Observers suggest that Bharathi’s active role may be aimed at streamlining party operations during these challenging times.
Previously focused primarily on business affairs linked to Jagan, Bharathi’s transition into the political domain marks a significant shift. Her elevated presence in the YCP hierarchy is being cited as a strategic move, consolidating leadership and ensuring continuity within the party as it navigates internal and external challenges.
SS Thaman Steals the Show at OG Music Concert

Music composer SS Thaman is gearing up for the release of They Call Him OG, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role. Last night, the OG music concert was held in Hyderabad, drawing huge fanfare.
During his speech at the event, Thaman creatively paraphrased Pawan Kalyan’s iconic dialogue: “Manalni evadara aapeti?!” (Who will stop us?), which instantly went viral on social media. Fans praised Thaman, commenting that he was “on fire” during the performance.
The film is directed by Sujeeth, who previously helmed Saaho, and is produced by DVV Danayya. Priyanka Arul Mohan stars as the leading lady alongside Pawan Kalyan. With the combination of high-octane action, a star-studded cast, and Thaman’s music, They Call Him OG is generating massive excitement among fans ahead of its release.
Jagan’s Assembly Boycott Sparks Disqualification Row

The absence of YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his MLAs from the Andhra Pradesh state assembly continues to dominate political discussions. Citing the denial of the Leader of Opposition status, the YSRCP has chosen to boycott the proceedings, but the move is drawing increasing criticism.
Some YSRCP legislators, concerned about losing credibility in their constituencies, reportedly urged Jagan during a recent meeting to allow them to attend the sessions. Jagan is said to have responded that they could go under the leadership of senior leader Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy. However, Peddireddy declined to take charge, leaving the impasse unresolved.
Meanwhile, the ruling Telugu Desam Party (TDP)-led coalition has intensified its attacks, warning of possible disqualification for MLAs skipping assembly sessions. Deputy Speaker K. Raghu Ramakrishna Raju dismissed Jagan’s argument that there is no rule mandating disqualification for 60 days of absence. He countered:
“Jagan has been MP, opposition leader, and chief minister. He knows the rules. The law is publicly available.”
Raju further pointed out that the YSRCP MLAs were allotted two questions per Question Hour but none attended. “If they spoke with decency, they would have been given more time,” he remarked.
State Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha accused Jagan of silencing his own legislators by keeping them away from the assembly. She recalled how, during the TDP’s stint in opposition, Chandrababu Naidu would stage walkouts, but the rest of the MLAs stayed back and fought in the House.
Senior TDP leader Yanamala Ramakrishnudu added weight to the debate, citing constitutional provisions under Articles 188 and 190(4), which state that any MLA absent for 60 consecutive days is liable for disqualification. He even argued that Jagan’s boycott soon after taking oath itself could fall under this clause.
However, analysts believe Speaker Ch. Ayyanna Patrudu may not take the extreme step of disqualification, as it could backfire and give Jagan unwarranted publicity. Instead, they expect the ruling coalition to keep the pressure alive, repeatedly highlighting that YSRCP legislators are failing in their duty to represent their constituencies inside the House.
Rukmini Vasanth Shines in Kantara Chapter 1

Actress Rukmini Vasanth made her debut with the Kannada film Saptha Sagara Dhaati Ello. The two-part film earned her recognition, with many predicting that she would rise as the next big heroine in the industry. However, a few poor choices stalled her momentum in the glamour world. Now, she is looking for a strong comeback with Rishab Shetty’s Kantara: Chapter 1.
Rukmini, who first appeared alongside Rakshit Shetty, plays the role of a princess in this much-awaited prequel. While the makers have kept her character under wraps until now, the recently released trailer hints at her importance in the storyline.
From the glimpse, it appears that Rukmini’s role could alter the equations of the narrative, particularly through the love track between the princess and a tribal warrior. Such themes have always found success in Indian cinema, but since Kantara: Chapter 1 is a period drama, it will be interesting to see how this dynamic unfolds.
Visually, Rukmini perfectly fits the role of a princess—she looks stunning in every frame shown in the trailer. If her character is given depth, it could become a turning point in her career, helping her move past her recent setbacks and scoring a much-needed blockbuster.
Her last outing, Madharaasi with Sivakarthikeyan, did little to boost her career. But if Kantara: Chapter 1 delivers the kind of success expected, Rukmini could immediately capitalize on it with her upcoming big-ticket project, NTR–Prashanth Neel’s Dragon. The film’s promotions in the coming weeks are likely to reveal more about her prominence in the story.
Windows 10 Support Ends October 2025 – Upgrade Options Explained

Microsoft has confirmed that official support for Windows 10 will end on October 14, 2025, marking the conclusion of a decade-long run for one of the company’s most widely used operating systems. After this date, Windows 10 devices will no longer receive feature updates, security patches, or technical support.
However, users don’t have to immediately replace their machines. There are several practical options to keep devices secure and functional beyond the end-of-life date:
1. Enroll in the Extended Security Updates (ESU) Program
Microsoft’s ESU program provides an additional year of critical and security updates until October 13, 2026.
Enrollment options include:
Free: Available when users back up files to OneDrive.
Microsoft Rewards: Redeemable with 1,000 Rewards points.
Paid: One-time purchase for $30 (approximately ₹2,500).
Up to 10 devices can be registered under the same Microsoft account. Note that ESU covers only security updates, not new features.
2. Upgrade to Windows 11
For devices that meet the system requirements—TPM 2.0, Secure Boot, 4GB RAM or more—upgrading to Windows 11 is the recommended solution.
Upgrade options include:
Windows Update in Settings
Windows 11 Installation Assistant
Clean Installation using an ISO file
If your system uses BIOS with MBR partitions, Microsoft’s MBR2GPT tool can safely convert the drive to GPT for UEFI compatibility before upgrading.
3. Install Windows 11 on Unsupported Hardware
For older PCs that don’t meet Microsoft’s requirements, third-party tools such as Rufus can bypass TPM and Secure Boot checks to install Windows 11.
While this keeps older hardware usable, Microsoft does not officially support this method. Updates may be inconsistent, and security protections may be incomplete.
Always Back Up First
Before making any changes—whether enrolling in ESU or upgrading—perform a full system backup to avoid data loss in case of installation errors or compatibility issues.
Bottom Line
Windows 10 systems will still run after October 2025, but without updates, they become increasingly vulnerable. The ESU program offers a short-term safety net, while upgrading to Windows 11 provides the most secure long-term path. Unsupported installations can extend the life of older machines, but with added risks to stability and protection.

Kamal Haasan on Thalapathy Vijay’s Political Entry
Tamil Nadu politics is poised for a potential shake-up with superstar Thalapathy Vijay entering the political arena through his TVK party, which will contest the upcoming 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. Vijay has already begun attracting massive crowds at his political events across the state, sparking debates about the real influence of film stars in politics.
While some politicians acknowledge that Vijay could make a significant impact, many remain skeptical, arguing that star power may draw crowds but does not necessarily translate into votes.
Veteran actor and politician Kamal Haasan recently shared his thoughts on the matter in an interview with a leading national media outlet. He noted, “Historically, many film stars have been able to attract large gatherings. But the real challenge is converting these crowds into actual votes during elections.”
Kamal emphasized that this is not a challenge unique to Vijay—it is a common hurdle for any film star-turned-politician, including himself. He expressed doubt over the potential electoral impact of Vijay, highlighting the difficulty of turning popularity into political success.
When asked to give advice to Thalapathy Vijay, Kamal Haasan suggested that he work with a clear conscience and focus on the welfare of the Tamil people, implying that genuine service and political commitment are crucial for long-term success.
