Classic Tollywood Songs Strike Gold: How Aditya Music Helps Hits Go Viral

In today’s films, even a brief snippet of a classic song can send audiences into a frenzy. Remixes of vintage tracks are widely appreciated, and in many cases, old songs become major highlights for movies. While new songs may trend briefly, only classics from the 1960s to the 2000s remain evergreen.
However, using these timeless tracks isn’t easy—it can be expensive. Most songs from the 1970s to 2000s are owned by specific companies, and filmmakers must secure permission and pay licensing fees. In Tollywood, a large number of these songs are owned by Aditya Music. Whether it’s Velluvochi Godaramma from Devatha or Idemitamma Maya from Aayudham, filmmakers must approach the company for rights.
For the movie K Ramp, the song Idemitamma Maya Maikam Kamminda became a standout. Initially, the team considered several popular tracks, but most were beyond their budget of Rs 2 lakh. This particular song was chosen because it fit the budget. Interestingly, Aditya Music, which maintains a good rapport with the filmmakers, allowed them to use the track for free. The song went on to become a huge hit and a social media sensation.

Roja Makes a Cinematic Comeback with Tamil Film Lenin Pandiyan

Like a star gradually emerging after a cloudy night, Roja is making her much-anticipated return to films. The veteran actress, who had stepped away from the silver screen to focus on politics, was last seen as a judge on the popular TV show Jabardasth. She eventually paused her television appearances amid criticism over balancing entertainment with her political commitments. Following her recent defeat in the Nagari elections, Roja appears ready for a fresh start—this time on the big screen.
Her comeback is marked by the Tamil film Lenin Pandiyan, officially announced by the production team. Directed by Balachandran, the movie showcases Roja in a fresh avatar alongside Santhanam. Judging by the working stills and first looks, this is a side of the actress that audiences haven’t seen in years. Known for her screen charm and commanding presence, Roja’s return could either be a special one-off project or the start of a new chapter in her acting career. Fans are watching closely, aware that any project involving Roja is bound to make headlines.
Roja last appeared in the Telugu film D/O Varma (2013), directed by Khaja, co-starring Vennela Kishore and Naveen Jackson. She first captured Telugu audiences’ hearts with her vibrant performances and dancing prowess in the 1990s, sharing screen space with superstars like Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Nagarjuna, and Venkatesh. Balakrishna Exits Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 Over Role Dispute

There were reports that Balakrishna was set to make a guest appearance in Superstar Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2. The potential collaboration between these two South Indian icons generated considerable excitement among fans, who were eager to see them share screen space.
However, according to the latest updates, discussions between Balakrishna and the Jailer 2 team reportedly hit a roadblock. The actor is said to have requested an extension of his role, with additional scenes and greater prominence in the storyline, along with a higher remuneration for his appearance.
After careful consideration, the filmmakers decided not to agree to these revised terms. Consequently, Balakrishna’s inclusion in the project was dropped. It remains unclear whether another actor will step in to fill the role.
Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is slated for release in June 2026.
YS Jagan Plans New Padayatra Ahead of 2029 Elections

YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is reportedly gearing up for another massive political move. According to former minister Perni Nani, Jagan is planning to launch a new padayatra in 2027, two years ahead of the next Assembly elections. Party leaders believe this could reignite the YSRCP’s momentum after its setback in 2024.
It has been eight years since Jagan completed his historic Praja Sankalpa Yatra, which began on November 6, 2017, at YSR Ghat in Idupulapaya and concluded in January 2019 at Ichchapuram. That journey spanned 3,648 kilometers, covering 13 districts, 134 assembly constituencies, and over 2,500 villages — a campaign that played a crucial role in the YSRCP’s landslide victory in 2019, cementing Jagan’s image as a leader of the people.
Now, with the party facing internal challenges and public discontent, YSRCP members feel another padayatra is essential to rebuild confidence and reconnect with the masses. They believe Jagan’s direct engagement with citizens could restore lost ground and energize the cadre.
After the 2024 electoral defeat, Jagan largely stayed away from public life, spending considerable time in Bengaluru, which drew criticism from the opposition. Several senior leaders are reportedly facing legal troubles, while others have drifted away from the party. Those who remain loyal see this padayatra as a turning point for revival.
Recently, Jagan held meetings with youth and regional leaders, hinting that public tours would begin soon — possibly preceded by the 2027 padayatra. Party insiders confirm that initial planning for the march is already underway.
For Jagan and the YSRCP, this upcoming yatra could be more than a symbolic move — it might be their last major chance to reconnect with the people and prepare for a comeback ahead of the 2029 elections. Whether it will mirror the success of 2019 remains to be seen.
