Pawan Kalyan Brings Electricity to Remote Gudem Village

Deep in the dense forests of Alluri Sitarama Raju district lies a small tribal hamlet called Gudem — a remote village under Rompalli Panchayat in Ananthagiri mandal, home to just 17 houses. For decades, this village lived in complete darkness, cut off from the comforts of modern life, as it had no access to electricity.
Despite several appeals to authorities over the years, their pleas went unheard — until about five months ago, when the issue reached Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan. Responding swiftly, the Ministry of Power initiated steps to electrify the village under the Non-PVGY scheme.
With an investment of nearly ₹80 lakh, officials laid 10 kilometers of power lines and erected 217 poles, finally bringing electricity to every home in Gudem. To ensure uninterrupted power, solar panels were also installed and linked to a dedicated transformer for backup supply.
The project wasn’t easy — due to the challenging forest terrain, power department staff had to carry poles manually and dig through rocky paths to complete the installation. Yet, in just 15 days, the entire operation was successfully executed.
Adding to this milestone, a hybrid solar and wind power unit worth over ₹10 lakh was also set up in the village under the PM Janman scheme, ensuring Gudem’s energy independence and marking a new dawn for its residents — a symbol of progress, perseverance, and hope in the heart of the forest.

Ravi Teja, known for his energetic screen presence and consistent output in Telugu cinema, continues to maintain momentum despite recent box-office setbacks. His latest release, Mass Jathara, failed to resonate with both critics and audiences, but the actor remains undeterred as he moves ahead with a packed slate of upcoming projects.
Currently, four of his films are in various stages of production. The closest to release is the tentatively titled #RT76, a family comedy directed by Kishore Tirumala. The film features Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi in lead roles, with a song sequence presently being shot in Hyderabad. The team is targeting a Sankranthi 2026 release, and the title Bhartamahaseyalaku Vignapthi is under serious consideration.
Next in line is RT77, which will see Ravi Teja collaborating with director Shiva Nirvana for the first time. Known for romantic dramas such as Ninnu Kori and Majili, the filmmaker is expected to explore a new space with this film, reportedly a thriller, backed by Mythri Movie Makers.
Following this, RT78 will be a superhero-themed project directed by Kalyan Shankar of MAD fame, with producer Naga Vamsi supporting the venture.
Additionally, Ravi Teja is in advanced talks with Bimbisara director Vasishta for a large-scale science fiction drama. The script, initially conceptualized for Ram Charan, has reportedly been reworked to align with Ravi Teja’s style and schedule.
