Sushant was a dir with Rhea, brother in 2 companies

Share

Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, whose mysterious death is being investigated, was a director in two companies along with his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik.

This clearly shows the convergence of business interests between Sushant and his girlfriend and her bother. Some of the allegations now being made by Sushant’s family members, who have filed a case of abetment to suicide against Rhea and others, may well find resonance in the business dealings between the two actors who were in a relationship.

Investigators will now start examining the size, scope and magnitude of the business dealings and whether the relationship led to the deceased actor’s financial ruin.

Altogether, Sushant was a director in three companies. The third registered in Gurgaon did not involve Rhea and her brother. The three companies were set up fairly recently in the period between 2018 and 2020.

Vividrage Rhealityx Private Limited was set up on September 12, 2019 as per ROC records. The firm had three directors — Sushant Singh Rajput, Rhea Indrajit Chakraborty and Showik Shakraborty. Its authorised share capital is Rs 100,000 and its paid up capital is Rs 100,000.

It is involved in other computer related activities (for example maintenance of websites of other firms/ creation of multimedia presentations for other firms). Its registered address is Flat No. A -503, Sai Fortune, Plot No. 15, Sector 8, Ulwe, Navi Mumbai, PANVEL Raigarh, Maharashtra.

Interestingly, intended or not, this company’s name has Rhea in it.

Front India For World Foundation was incorporated very recently on January 6, 2020. It is involved in social work activities. Its authorised share capital is Rs 100,000 and its paid up capital is Rs 100,000. The firm had two directors, Rhea’s brother, Showik Shakraborty and Sushant Singh. The registered address is the same as for Vividrage Rhealityx.

The third company where Sushant Singh was a director was based in Gurugram and did not have Rhea or her brother on the board. Innsaei Ventures Private Limited is a private limited company incorporated on April 26, 2018. The other directors were Varun Mathur and Saurabh Mishra. It is involved in other service activities.

Sushant and Rhea were in a relationship before the actor’s alleged suicide on June 14. Sushant’s father has levelled various allegations against Rhea, including taking money from his son and also threatening him to disclose his medical reports to the media. Sushant’s family has also accused Rhea of keeping him away from his family.

After Sushant’s father lodged an FIR against Rhea in Patna, accusing her of cheating and threatening his son, the actress on Wednesday moved the Supreme Court seeking transfer of the investigation to Mumbai.

Sushant made his Bollywood debut in 2013 with the movie “Kai Po Che”. He was appreciated for his performance in “Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!”, “MS Dhoni: The Untold Story”, “Sonchiriya” and “Chhichhore”.

“Dil Bechara”, his last movie which was released online on July 24 on Disney+Hotstar, has drawn praise from the critics.

Krishna Board Stalls Rayalaseema Lift Scheme

Share

The Andhra Pradesh government received a jolt on Thursday for its ambitious plan of the construction of Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Project (RLIP) on the foreshore of Srisailam reservoir on Krishna river.

The Krishna River Management Board (KRMB), constituted by the Centre under AP Reorganisation Act, 2014, on Thursday instructed the Andhra Pradesh government to stop Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Scheme forthwith.

A letter to this effect was written by KRMB member Harikesh Meena Special Chief Secretary (Irrigation) of the AP government Adityanath Das.

The board also found fault with the state government for granting administrative sanctions to the construction of new projects on the Krishna river.

The board said the state government can’t go forward with the regard to construction of the projects without taking permission from the Central Water Commission (CWC).

The letter was apparently written following a complaint lodged by the Telangana government with the KRMB stating that proposed Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation Scheme to divert Krishna water from the Srisailam Project was in violation of the AP State Reorganisation Act.

The board made it clear that for any new projects, a Detailed Project Report (DPR) should be submitted to the CWC and permission should be taken from the Apex Committee.

The actions taken by the AP government, which are in violation of this procedure, would be viewed as violation of the Act, the KRMB said.

It may be mentioned that the Jagan Mohan Reddy government on Monday issued a notification inviting tenders for the construction of the RLIP, aimed at lifting 34,722 cusecs of water per day from Srisailam Reservoir on Krishna river from a depth of 800 feet.

The tenders worth Rs 3,278.18 crore were called for the construction of the project under Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis within 30 months.

The last date for filing of tenders is August 10 and the technical and commercial bids would be opened on August 12 and 13.

“With the lowest bid taken as the benchmark, a reverse tendering process would be conducted on August 17 and the successful bidder would be finalsied by August 19,” the notification said.

Krishna Board Shocks Jagan Govt

Share

Sometime back the Telangana government has raised objections over the Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation project and complained to Krishna River Board. However the board did not react on it then and so the AP CM YS Jagan led YSRCP government thought of going ahead with this project.

Accordingly the AP government is gearing up to call for tenders for the construction of the project and this has prompted the Telangana government yet again. So they lodged their second complaint with Krishna board. On Thursday, the board has reacted to it and this has shocked the YCP government.

The Krishna River Board has written a letter to the AP government asking them not to go ahead with the project construction for now. In its complaints, the Telangana government claimed that without the consent of the Apex Council, a lift irrigation project can’t be initiated.

Agreeing with the Telangana government, the Krishna Board in its letter said that AP irrigation department is yet to submit the Detailed Project Report (DPR) to them.

Unfortunately this will put breaks to Jagan’s dream to provide water for agriculture and drinking to the drought hit Rayalaseema region.

Mega Brothers Out Of Sankranthi Race?

Share

Covid-19 ensured lockdown has given a huge shocker to Film Industry as there are neither film shootings, nor film releases going on. This led to many big plans getting altered as 2020 saw no big release other than the Sankranthi released movies. However, our producers are busy chalking their plans for next year, with a hope that everything will fall into place by then.

If everything has gone well, then we would have seen the release of films like Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Acharya and Pawan Kalyan’s Vakeel Saab already. But with 20% shoot of these films pending, there is no chance that they would come to OTT even after a couple of days shooting. Talk is that these two big stars have decided not to shoot until the vaccine arrives for Covid-19. That has now prompted other stars to pick the release dates.

At a time when many thought that the two mega brothers will touch the Sankranthi 2021, both Nithin’s Rang De and Akhil’s Most Eligible Bachelor have announced that they have locked the Sankranthi slot. In that case, one wonders if these two films’ producers have information that Mega brothers slipped Sankranthi.

Fans are however feeling that mega brothers are unnecessary slipping Sankranthi as there is still 6 months to go in this year, and if Covid-19 recedes sooner than expected then there is a chance of readying Acharya and Vakeel Saab for Sankranthi itself. Let’s see what happens.

Why Employees Impleaded In Amaravati Case?

Share

The impleading petition filed by Andhra Pradesh Secretariat Employees’ Association president K Venkatrami Reddy in the high court defending the shifting of the executive capital from Amaravati to Visakhapatnam is learnt to have created a ruckus among the employees.

While the employees have no option but to follow the government’s directions with regard to shifting to any capital region, Reddy reportedly incurred the wrath of the employees for blatantly commenting against the farmers of Amaravati and defending the government’s arguments in the court.

Many employees said the union has no business to implead in the case, unless the high court asks it to do so.

“Why should we make comments against the agitation by the Amaravati farmers? Let the court decide on the matter and it is for the government to follow. When we, as the state government employees, can’t comment against the government, why should we comment in favour of the government’s decisions?” a Secretariat employee questioned.

Venkatrami Reddy, however, said he had to file the impleading petition in the court only because Amaravati Parirakshana Samithi dragged the union’s name by raising the issues discussed internally.

“Our association’s name was unnecessarily quoted in the petition. That is why we had to implead in the case,” he said.

The union leader said they had asked the government to give the employees sufficient time to move to the new capital, if the bill was enacted.

“We asked the government to see that the academic year is not disturbed and nobody should be forced to shift to the new capital immediately,” he said.

Stating that the employees had nothing to do with politics, Reddy said he was not in favour of any particular political party.

“We filed an affidavit in the court only explaining the factual position as a counter to the petition filed by the Amaravati Parirakshana Samithi,” he asserted.

Ram Gopal Varma is not making film after film, but making many films at a time. Some of his films are in planning stage, some are on sets and some are already announced. He is in the mode of releasing at least a film every week.

The latest announcement is going to be about a thriller film titled “RGV Missing”, in which he is also going to act, as per the inside news.

Sources say that he may come up with an announcement in a day or two about this. But this is not going to be a short film like his recent films. The duration is going to be 1 hour or more.

As his idea is to release a film every week he is busily working on several concepts. RGV Missing is one among those.

While this is the update, it seems that he has decided not to make films on any film celebrity for a while. So he kept the film on Allu Aravind also aside as of now.

He is planning to release adult films and thrillers for time being, as per an insider.

YCP MLA Sridevi Cries Before Media

Share

Tadikonda MLA Undavalli Sridevi wept before the media over a propaganda campaign that has been making rounds. In details, a few days ago, a key follower of Sridevi by name Suresh Salivendra was arrested for holding a playing cards club in an apartment illegally in Nambooru of Peddakakani.

However, Sridevi clarified that she has no idea about the person who was detained by the cops. She appeared before the media today and added that she is a doctor and if she does a surgery she would earn in Lakhs. “I can make more money with my profession. While making these comments, tears rolled out of Sridevi’s eyes but she controlled herself. Then she said she would meet AP DGP and lodge a complaint against those people who are doing this false campaign.

I Will Vote For Sonu Sood, Says Ram Pothineni

“There are people, there are heroes and then there are Humans. If only we had more Humans..we wouldn’t be needing heroes” says Tollywood’s energetic star Ram Pothineni as he praises actor Sonu Sood for the good work he is doing. Conveying his wishes on the occasion of Sonu’s birthday, the young Telugu hero further gave a lovely compliment.

“Dear brother Sonu Sood, I hardly say this to anyone. I’d VOTE for you” Ram said, wishing him the best of birthdays. Well, almost all of the film fraternity is praising Sonu Sood big time for the kind of relief efforts he has undertaken for people suffering from issues due to the Covid-19 pandemic. From bringing Telugu students home after knowing that they are stuck in Kyrgyzstan to helping a Telugu farmer buy tractor, Sonu did a lot. Before that he has arranged buses for migrant labour to go home from Mumbai.

And now, Ram joins the long list of actors who have praised Sonu Sood. Earlier Prakash Raj complimented that Sonu is a precious man, and then AP’s former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu also heaped praises on Sonu’s efforts. Even the actor is elated with Naidu’s b’day tweet for him.

In another TV interview, however, Sonu Sood clarified that he has no interest in politics.

Can Jagan Go Ahead With English Medium?

Share

The New Education Policy announced by the Centre on Wednesday has kicked up a debate on whether the Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy government can go ahead with its decision to introduce English medium in all the government schools.

According to one of the points mentioned in the NEP-2020, teaching in mother tongue will compulsory till Class 5 and thereafter, it has to be left to the choice of the students to go in for English medium or continue in his mother tongue.

This has triggered a debate as to whether Jagan should drop his plan to introduce English medium compulsorily in all the government schools from this academic year.

He has already made arrangements to that effect and his government has even arranged distribution of text books to the students from Class 1 to 6 in English medium.

Naturally, critics of Jagan have already started issuing statements that the state government has to drop its plan to introduce English medium in the schools.

Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu has tweeted that it is a welcome announcement from the Centre and wanted that the Jagan government should drop his English medium plan.

But sources in the Jagan government said the Centre has not made it mandatory for the states to continue the primary education only in the mother tongue and that there is no truth in the reports that the NEP-2020 would put an end to the state government’s plan to introduce English medium in the schools.

Sources said the NEP would only a sort of guide for the states and is not a mandatory document. Its implementation depends on the conditions in the state and their applicability to the local needs. There is no hard and fast rule that it should be implemented compulsorily.

“Since education is a concurrent subject, the NEP cannot be thrusted on the states which will take a call depending on their respective conditions. The Centre has made it clear that the NEP can be implemented only with the support of the states and it cannot be forced on any state,” the sources said.

Moreover, if the students want to study only in English medium, the NEP cannot force them to study only in Telugu medium.

“Recently, the state high court struck down a petition seeking to introduce Telugu medium even in private schools, stating that it cannot go against the rights of the private school managements,” sources said.

‘We Knew Chandrababu’s Losing, Jagan’s Sweeping’

Share

The former Chief Minister of erstwhile state Jammu & Kashmir and J&K’s National Congress leader Omar Abdullah has breathed fire on Chandrababu Naidu. Calling Naidu as ‘Opportunistic’ leader, Omar Abdullah lamented Naidu for not “uttering a word” in support of his father (Farooq Abdullah) and himself when the duo was arrested and kept under detention. Omar Abdullah has made interesting comments on Naidu which became a hot topic in national politics.

“My father (Farooq Abdullah) had left his own Parliament election and went to campaign for Chandrababu Naidu’s TDP (in Kadapa). This is despite knowing and fully aware that Chandrababu was losing election and YS Jaganmohan Reddy was going to sweep the polls. Still my father campaigned for Naidu as he didn’t want to turn down Naidu’s request. Whereas, Chandrababu couldn’t utter one word in support of me and my father when we were arrested for the cause,” Omar Abdullah was quoted as saying.

Speaking to various media houses on the eve of one year of the Centre’s decision to abrogate Article 370 and bifurcate Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh into two Union Territories, Omar Abdullah made above comments on Chandrababu Naidu. However, Omar Abdullah didn’t spare the other Opposition parties who all had gathered to fight against Modi before the 2019 polls.

Omar expressed his “great disappointment” at the reaction of India’s political leaders after August 5, 2019, the day when the Government of India revoked the special status granted under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution to Jammu and Kashmir.

Omar Abdullah attacked TRS, Arvind Kejriwal’s Aam Aadmi Party too. “Arvind Kejriwal was fighting with Modi everyday. He was fighting against the Lieutenant Governor and asking full statehood to Delhi. But now, he seems to be very cosy with BJP all of a sudden. And when it comes to Jammu and Kashmir which is being reduced from a State to a Union Territory, Arvind Kejriwal has no problem with it and he supports it.”

Omar also found fault with TRS that fought for its statehood and raised its voice against Hyderabad as Union Territory has supported Article 370. “Shockingly, TRS that fought for its statehood too supported (BJP) when Jammu and Kashmir was reduced to UT.”

Celebrity Covid-19 Cases: What’s The Reason?

Share

Whether it Amitabh Bachhan or SS Rajamouli, many wonder how come celebrities are contracting Covid-19. Especially with these celebs using costly N95 masks, following all the precautions like sanitising hands and homes daily, how would have coronavirus reached them is the primary question.

One thing is that some celebrities haven’t stopped partying and those celebs who have fallen victim to Covid-19 after their pleasure activities haven’t even reported about it in the public. But the likes of Rajamouli and Amitabh Bachhan, who have darlingly gone public with the revelation that they are Covid-19 positive patients, are quite gutsy in the first place.

Some say that maybe it is through their maids and other domestic help who are regularly frequenting markets and shops to fetch groceries these big celebs might have got Covid-19. They say that lack of proper awareness among these maids and helps is the reason for the transmission of the virus into these big celeb homes.

On the other hand, some say that newspapers and cash notes are carrying the virus for sure, and handling them might have caused these big celebs to catch Covid-19. Whatever it is, if it could reach Bacchan and Rajamouli’s home, definitely it could reach our home too. So just be careful.
