Pawan Kalyan’s full support to Amaravati farmers
Jana Sena Chief, and founder, Pawan Kalyan has always been with the people of Andhra Pradesh, trying to help them the best way he can. Pawan has never backed down in criticizing the government, if it failed to help the people. He also made appreciated the government when it did something good for the people.
Recently, when Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated the 104 and 108 ambulances, Pawan Kalyan openly expressed his appreciation towards the Chief Minister, for launching these ambulances during their utmost requirement.
Now, Pawan Kalyan has once again spoken in support of the people of Andhra Pradesh, especially supporting the farmers of Amaravati, who have been staging protests3 for over 200 days, against the government’s decision of 3 Capitals for the state of Andhra Pradesh. He released a public statement, condemning the government for going against the wishes of lakhs of people, in not reinstating Amaravati as the sole capital of Andhra Pradesh.
During the term of TDP, more than 2400 farmers gave away more than 34,000 acres of lands to the government, for the development of Amaravati into the Capital for Andhra Pradesh, and into a smart city capable of self-financing itself.
Pawan Kalyan has spoke against the YSRCP government, saying that it’s not democratic to go against what had been established during the tenure of the previous government, which was done for the betterment of the state.
Pawan Kalyan also pointed out that the government hasn’t yet given wages to all the farmers who were working on leased farm lands. He said that this was nothing short of robbing these farmers of their livelihood. Pawan said that it would be best if the government made sure that these farmers got their wages as soon as possible.
Once again Pawan Kalyan has proven that he is here to support the people of Andhra Pradesh at any cost, and to not get into dirty politics. Pawan Kalyan is indeed a people’s leader!

Extended lockdown indirectly helping Keerthy Suresh’s films
It is uncertain if movie theaters will be re-opened anytime soon in India. Consequently, many films which were set for theatrical release have been postponed indefenitely.
However, the lockdown seems to be indirectly helping the makers of Keerthy Suresh’s upcoming projects.
Incidentally, Keerthy Suresh’s long-delayed film, ‘Penguin’ finally saw limelight as it was released on Amazon Prime last month. The producers made decent profits, despite the fact that the film got a lukewarm response.
Now, two of Keerthy’s upcoming projects, ‘Good Luck Sakhi’, and ‘Miss India’ are gearing up for direct OTT release.
‘Good Luck Sakhi’ has Nagesh Kukunoor at the helm. Mahesh Koneru is producing ‘Miss India’. Both the films have apparently wrapped shoot.
The makers of ‘Miss India’ are already negotiating with OTT platforms and might be signing a deal very soon. Even the producers of ‘Good Luck Sakhi’ will be initiating talks with digital platforms in the days to come.
Well, the onset of coronavirus pandemic has shown a monstrous effect on cinema industry. Shootings and pre-release business of multiple films have been put on hold due to the lockdown. Even if movie theaters are re-opened by the end of the year, there is no guarantee that audience will rush to the theaters. Small budget films will be largely effected due to the unforeseen circumstances.
Luckily for Keerthy Suresh, she has gained some attention on OTT platforms. The makers of her subsequent films can contemplate a direct OTT release. If they strike the right deal, they can generate more revenue through OTT release than that of a theatrical release, especially so, due to the current situation of movie theaters. It needs to be said that the extended lockdown is indirectly helping Keerthy Suresh’s films.
Mr. Charan, Some Clarity Please?
No Telugu film has been subjected to nonstop speculations like Chiranjeevi’s Lucifer remake in the past three months during the lockdown. Ever since Chiru confirmed doing Lucifer in a lockdown interview, numerous gossips about the film’s cast have been storming social media.
Particularly, rumours have been in full swing regarding the actors who will be reprising Manju Warrier and Prithviraj’s roles in the Telugu version. For Manju Warrier, who played Mohanlal’s sister in this gripping political drama, Bommarillu actress Genelia and senior actresses like Vijayashanti, Suhasini, Khushboo and now Roja are rumoured to have been signed on.
On the other hand, Rana Daggubati, Bollywood star Salman Khan and now another young telugu hero are buzzed to have been considered for Prithviraj’s character in the movie. Naturally, all eyes are on Ram Charan, who will remake Lucifer, to see if he will give any clarity regarding the casting rumours.
Since no shooting related activities have gained pace in Tollywood, director Sujeeth and Lucifer remake’s team are still busy giving finishing touches to the script and also completing the casting process simultaneously. Well, fans will have to wait for some more days to know the stars who will be finally part of this crazy remake.
‘TDP Locusts Attack On Lotus’
Rajya Sabha MP and YSRCP’s national general secretary Vijay Sai Reddy has made crucial comments. Vijay Sai Reddy, who is known for his satirical comments on Opposition leaders, alleged that TDP is back to appeasing politics and alleged that TDP leaders are flocking to BJP in order to create troubles to ruling YCP.
Dubbing TDP netas as locusts (Midathalu) and their exodus as locust attack, Vijay Sai Reddy said a group of locusts (Midathala Dandu) from TDP are set to attack BJP’s Lotus flower. Referring to the likes of Sujana Chowdary, CM Ramesh, Vijay Sai Reddy said a set of locusts have already attacked BJP and created havoc. He said by the time BJP realized this havoc by imported leaders from TDP, another group of netas from TDP are all set to attack. He said it needs to be seen how BJP would overcome this locust attack from TDP.
Vijay Sai Reddy has been raising a strong voice against some BJP leaders who had come from TDP. He has been alleging that former TDP leaders are Naidu’s stooges pushing their ex Boss’s agenda in BJP. He has been cautioning existing BJP leaders to take cognizance of this. Amidst strong allegations from Vijay Sai Reddy, it needs to be seen how BJP leaders and TDP leaders respond. Earlier, there was a war of words between Vijay Sai Reddy and Kanna Lakshminarayana of state BJP. And finally, Kanna had become silent indicating that Vijay Sai Reddy has good say at the top bosses in BJP.
‘Vizag’ a new nightmare for AP CM?
Visakhapatnam is probably the most beautiful city in entire Andhra Pradesh. This city is economically viable for any sector and is the one and only Tier-1 city on AP. But the same city is giving nightmares to the AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Jagan has been eyeing Visakhapatnam from 2014 and he has been in thoughts of making it as AP Capital but Chandra Babu proposed Amaravati by influencing the sentiments of the AP people for which Jagan supported as he was left with no other choice. Now, even with 151 MLAs at his side, his dreams are being shattered for many reasons.
Mainly, Vizag’s geographical position is very much complicated. On the east, it has seashore that possess an imminent threat of cyclones and Tsunamis. At the back of the city, there are hills so, at the time of threats, the city can’t move backward for a temporary stay. The Vizag City roughy has a circumference of about 40-50 km and they can’t escape from a major natural disaster.
Now, the repeated gas leakage incidents are more a headache to the AP Chief Minister. After the LG Polymer Gas leak incident, another incident happened, in no time another gas leakage accident happened in Pharma City.
If the capital shifts, more industries will be established in the capital city which will do nothing but increase the risk of these kinds of accidents. So, TDP is using all these things as weapons against Jagan to prevent Vizag from becoming the AP Capital and even people started to think more efficiently on Jagan’s proposal.
Why Bunny is Jogging at KBR Park?
Due to the coronavirus and social distancing rules, all parks in India remained shut.
The government has not lifted restrictions on them yet. Outdoor exercises are also not permitted.
Allu Arjun, however, has now made KBR park as the main spot to do daily cardio exercises. Before lockdown, he used to do the workouts at the gym and his home.
But now, he is using the jogging track outside KBR park to do the cardio. He has now regularly been spotting walking and jogging at KBR Park.
The stylish star needs to shoot for his next film “Pushpa” which is set in the backdrop of Seshachalam forests.
He needs to do a lot of trekking and walking as part of the requirement of his role.
So, he is preparing his body for such strenuous activity by walking and jogging at KBR park instead of doing the same activity at home.
The film is directed by Sukumar. It will resume the regular shoot from October. Rashmika Mandanna is the heroine.
‘Can’t Say About Capital Shifting But We Are Prepared’
Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police (DGP) Gautam Sawang on Sunday denied to comment on the capital shifting but said they are prepared.
Speaking to reporters after completing his two-day tour of Visakhapatnam, he said: “I cannot say when the capital will be shifted but we are prepared.” The state Assembly had earlier passed the ‘Andhra Pradesh Decentralisation and Inclusive Development of All Regions Bill 2020’. The Bill proposes to have a legislative capital at Amaravati, executive capital and Raj Bhavan at Visakhapatnam and judicial capital at Kurnool.
The DGP visited the proposed site for Greyhounds at Anandapuram Mandal and Thotlakonda hilltop.
The purpose of his visit was to identify government lands for the police department and others which might be needed for the future needs of the government in the event of any development in the state.
He said the government allocated 385 acres of land in Jagannadhapuram village under Chandaka panchayats in Anandapuram Mandal, about 28 km from Visakhapatnam city for setting up of Greyhounds headquarters and setting up of police academy.
“As the allocated land was not enough for a full-fledged headquarters, some more land was sought from the government. Several more lands were also inspected during the last two days,” he added.
Sawang appreciated Visakhapatnam Commissioner of Police RK Meena for effective handling of the lockdown and said only 98 positive cases were reported in the first three months in the region.
Stating that the number of cases has increased after easing of the lockdown from June 3, he said the state stood first in the prevention of virus infection.
No Adult Content Please, Allu Aravind Tells Makers
OTT platform in India has become synonymous with adult content. Smooch scenes, sex sequences, unrestrained display of skin have staple ingredients for web dramas and movies.
While Netflix and Amazon Prime gained popularity with bold content initially, they have also added content-rich web series and movies.
But the Telugu streaming app ‘Aha’ initially got it wrong. They thought adult content sells easily on OTT. The had little growth with his formula. Now, they have realized their folly.
Allu Aravind who is one of the main promoters along with My Home Group have decided to move away from such content henceforth.
Despite not having such sequences “Bhanumathi Ramakrishna” featuring Naveen Chandra and Salony Luthra gained positive reviews and appreciation on social media.
Allu Aravind has informed his creative team to completely reject excess adult-themed stories on their platform.
The streaming company is acquiring the rights of several small-budgeted movies and is also producing web dramas. The focus will be on crime thrillers, love stories, and suspense movies.
