Ch Ayyanna Patrudu and Ganta Srinivasa Rao are prominent leaders in Vizag for TDP.
Both of them are popular leaders and they have been playing a key role in party affairs for the last two decades. They belong to the same party and the same region but they are not in talking terms for a long time.

On the other hand, Ayyanna kept mum when Ganta’s follower, his right hand Nalanda Kishore was arrested. Ayyanna is known for his loudmouth, always talks on various issues, and tries to attack the opposition. But in Nalanda Kishore’s episode, he didn’t even respond.
Even the party cadre is not happy with the ego clashes of these leaders. They are thinking that their attitude will cause further damage to the party.

Actress Shares Her Biggest Lesson From Pandemic
Actress Vaani Kapoor says the biggest lesson she learnt from the Covid pandemic to the importance of being prepared.
“I believe the biggest lesson is to realise the extraordinary importance of preparation at least for the coming future, in case something like this ever had to happen again,” Vaani told IANS.
She added that another lesson learned through the pandemic is the sense of appreciation.
“I also guess in a new way we have learnt to feel a new sense of appreciation for our lives, and for the ones we love. One needs to be grateful on so many levels. Also, (remember) the fact that we shouldn’t take things for granted,” she added.
When the lockdown is fully lifted and Vaani returns to work, she will be ready to face the cameras. Among her upcoming assignments is her newly-signed project, “Bellbottom”, starring Akshay Kumar. This is Vaani’s first film with Akshay.
Inspired by true events, the film is set in 1980s, and the story is about one of India’s forgotten heroes. Directed by Ranjit M. Tewari, the film is scheduled to go on floors later this year. It is written by Aseem Arrora and Parveez Shaikh.
After Viral Video, Doctor Shifted To NIMS For COVID-19 Treatment
HYDERABAD: Fever Hospital DMO Dr. Sulthana has been shifted to the Nizam Institute of Medical and Sciences (NIMS) hospital for COVID-19 treatment. Telangana Health Minister Etela Rajender gave directions on Sunday to provide treatment to Dr. Sulthana in this regard.
On Saturday, she was admitted to Thumbay Hospital in Chaderghat with COVID-19 and was charged Rs 1.15 lakh for 24 hours for COVID-19 treatment.
The hospital had detained her for paying only Rs 40,000 and demanded to pay the rest of the amount and leave the hospital.
Dr. Sultana released a video of her bitter experience with the hospital staff which as gone viral on social media.
She had also released a letter narrating the experience that she had faced in the hospital.
In the letter, she wrote, she had tested positive for coronavirus 16 days ago. She was in home isolation and treating herself at home. As she faced severe difficulty in breathing, she went to Thumbay hospital on Saturday and was admitted there.
“I got discharged from there within 24 hours for which they have charged Rs 1.15 lakh on July 2,” said the doctor.
“I paid only Rs 40,000, then the hospital staff refused to discharge and detained me, They gave me 10 units of Insulin injection, which is an inhumane activity,” she said.
She even said that hospital staff had ill-treated her for questioning over the heavy bill.

Sultana’s family members expressed outrage over the hospital management, for charging Rs 1.15 lakh just for one-day treatment and for detaining her. They demanded the immediate release of Sultana and the cancellation of the hospital’s accreditation.

Hyderabad Jeweller Hosted Birthday Party For 150 People, Succumbs To COVID-19
HYDERABAD: A diamond jeweller from Hyderabad, who had thrown a birthday party where about 150 people were present, died of coronavirus earlier this week. The owner of another jewellery shop who attended the party also died of COVID-19 on Saturday.
Twelve people, including a politician from Telangana, who attended the party tested positive for the dreaded virus.
An official from the health department who is familiar with this development, said the affected are undergoing treatment across several hospitals in the city, Hindustan Times reported.
The jeweller from Himayat Nagar had hosted a birthday party for his friends and relatives in Hyderabad. It has been reported that several prominent jewellers, gold merchants and political leaders also attended the party.
“Three days after the birthday party, the jeweller developed symptoms of coronavirus and was immediately admitted to a corporate hospital in the city. He succumbed to the virus earlier this week,” an official was quoted as saying.
Another jeweller of the city and a member of Telangana Jewellers’ Association was admitted to a corporate hospital in the city after developing COVID-19 symptoms succumbed to coronavirus on Friday. A prominent leader from the ruling party Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) who had attended the birthday party was also infected with the virus.
“Since several business tycoons and politicians were among those attending the birthday party, the incident was kept as a secret,” the official said as quoted by the daily.

Actress Jhansi is under self-isolation. She put herself under isolation for the past few days.

There were official reports in the media that 20 employees of Pragathi Bhavan tested positive for Covid-19 and CM KCR moved to his farmhouse.
There are gossips circulating in the political & media circles that the CM has been tested positive for Covid-19.
Though there is no official confirmation about it, his conspicuous absence is adding fuel to the fire. A couple of leading newspapers also mentioned that his absence is leading to the rumors.

Telangana Govt In Dilemma Over Re-Imposition Of Lockdown In Hyderabad
HYDERABAD: Telangana government seems to have dropped the decision of re-imposition of complete lockdown in Hyderabad for 15 days. On June 28, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao had announced that the government will take a decision over 15 days re-imposition of complete lockdown in Hyderabad, after a cabinet meeting in three-four days.
But after that there is no official announcement from the state government over complete lockdown in Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation(GHMC) areas for 15 days. The city’s business and commercial sectors are eagerly waiting for the decision from the government over re-imposition of lockdown in Hyderabad.
The government seems to be in a dilemma that Hyderabad is likely to suffer a severe loss in business and commerce sectors when compared to other metro cities if the lockdown is re-imposed in Hyderabad, as it is the major source of revenue for the state.
After assessing the pros and cons amid the rising number of COVID-19 cases in the state for a few more days, the government plans to announce its decision over the re-imposing of lockdown. But most of the daily labourers, and other citizens rush towards their hometowns with a fear of re-imposition of lockdown.
The state government has conducted an extensive study on conditions that might arise if the lockdown is re-imposed. State officials have also taken the opinions from medical professionals, politicians, businesses and entrepreneurs and the general public over the same.
In the survey, some have suggested imposing the lockdown in view of the coronavirus spread under the GHMC, while most others have reportedly opposed the proposal.
It is reported that most of the doctors as well as individuals from various sectors have advised the government that even after re-imposing the lockdown for 15 days, there won’t be much difference in the situation, as the COVID-19 cases are rapidly increasing in GHMC areas.
Top medical professionals have reported that COVID-19 has reached the first stage of community transmission and they cannot control the spread of virus even after re-imposing lockdown.
Several experts have advised the government that the number of COVID-19 patients will be increased in the coming days and arrangements should be made to provide medical care for the people getting infected with the coronavirus.
All kinds of businesses are gaining recovery from the losses with phased-wise unlocking in Hyderabad.
The government and the police departments have to be prepared if the state government decides to re-impose lockdown. But, the police department has not yet received any information from the government over it.

Chandrababu Naidu’s failure and hopelessness over Amaravati
After the bifurcation of united Andhra Pradesh into Telangana and the now Andhra Pradesh, the state of Andhra has been facing quite a few problems, starting with a massive issue on its capital itself.
Having been elected as the Chief Minister right after the bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh, Nara Chandrababu Naidu took the decision of making the centrally located Amaravati as the capital of the state. Plannings and foundations for the development of Amaravati into a smart city were laid down, and more than 33,000 acres of lands were donated by nearly 24,000 farmers.
Everything seemed to be going well until the government changed last year after the general elections. Jagan’s government took a rather controversial decision by announcing the plan of 3 Capitals for the state – Amaravati as the Legislative Capital, Visakhapatnam as the Executive Capital and Kurnool as the Judiciary Capital. Ever since then, the farmers of Amaravati have been staging protests, and today marks the 200th day of their protests. The Amaravati Joint Action Commission, TDP and several others from all over the country are supporting the farmers, and opposing Jagan’s atrocious 3 Capital plan.
Chandrababu Naidu has now said that only the Central Government can now save Amaravati, and that they have to step in. This looks rather comical as it was Chandrababu Naidu who initiated the entire idea of Amaravati, and that he is now the first one to seemingly give up on it. When Amaravati was announced as the new capital, it looked as though Chandrababu Naidu alone took the decision. It is now sad to see that he is not willing to fight stronger to make sure that justice is done to the farmers, and that Amaravati is reinstated as the sole capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Amaravati could have easily been saved if Chandrababu Naidu, or anyone from TDP had built homes in the place. Sadly, no such thing happened, with most of them still based in Hyderabad or elsewhere. Regardless of announcing Amaravati as the Capital, Chandrababu never seemed to really care about developing the capital properly, and making sure that the people of Andhra Pradesh took it seriously.
Giving up on Amaravati right now looks absolutely foolish, and it is Chandrababu Naidu’s responsibility that he sticks through this fight till the end and makes sure that Amaravati is reinstated as the sole capital of Andhra Pradesh.
Ram Charan’s Philosophical Tweet Makes Heads Turn
Ram Charan Tej is active on social media but not on a daily basis. The actor makes sure he posts or shares important messages on various platforms and sometimes, responds to posts and tweets which have him tagged.

Jagan’s masterplan to sidetrack all courts
The Judiciary of India has the right to question anyone who goes against the constitution and also make sure that the legislative governments pertaining to the state or the country are doing the right thing. While the courts cannot object every decision that a government takes, they can definitely object and reject those that directly go against the constitutional law.
The courts can also hold proceedings on those political members who have used derogatory language at any point of time, about anything. However, this power doesn’t extend to the Members of the Parliament, as they are provided immunity on the grounds of irregularity of procedure.
ABN Radha Krishna, who is known to speak his mind, has recently said that the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y.S.Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to be using the same tactic, by using the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, Thammineni Sitaram, against the High Court of Andhra Pradesh.
By default, Thammineni Sitaram is immune to the power of the judiciary, as he is a member of the constitution. Hence, despite the recent derogatory comments that he made recently on the courts of Andhra Pradesh, no action can be taken against him.
Thammineni Sitaram questioned the involvement of the courts and asked how they could interfere with every decision that the government is making for the state. Not just that, he also said that it is up to the people to decide whether the government is taking the right decisions, and if they feel that it isn’t, then it is up to the people to vote them out of power in the next elections.
This is indeed a masterstroke by Jagan, who’s constantly been facing objections from the High Court of Andhra Pradesh. With the involvement of Thammineni, Jagan now finds an immune system to the decisions he takes. This comes as no surprise from Jagan, given that he’s been trying to eliminate all sorts of opposition from everywhere. The government now seems to be transforming into a totalitarian one, from a democratic one.
Even the courts are now in a state of confusion, not really sure how to tackle Thammineni, given his powers and immunity to the judiciary.
