Share

Ram–Bhagyashree’s Andhra King Gears Up for Release

Share

Energetic Star Ram and actress Bhagyashree Borse are coming together for their new film “Andhra King”, produced by Mythri Movie Makers and directed by Mahesh Babu P. With the film set to release on 27th of this month, promotions are now in full swing. Kannada Superstar Upendra also plays a crucial role in the movie, and buzz suggests his character will be one of the major highlights.

As part of the promotions, heroine Bhagyashree Borse shared her working experience on the film and opened up about her co-star Ram.

Bhagyashree About the Film

Bhagyashree said Andhra King offers a beautiful love story layered with strong emotions that will connect with everyone. She plays a college-going girl who falls in love with Ram’s character.

Talking about Ram, she said,

“He is an energetic actor, and matching his energy is not easy. The love scenes and dialogues in the film have come out really well.”

She praised director Mahesh Babu P, saying he crafted the film wonderfully and focused on fan emotions in a heartfelt way. She also appreciated Mythri Movie Makers for their passion and commitment to giving audiences a rich cinematic experience.

Bhagyashree’s Career Phase

Although Bhagyashree impressed with her acting in Mr. Bachchan and recently in Kantara, she hasn’t had a proper commercial hit yet. She strongly believes Andhra King will be her breakthrough film. With the film already creating solid buzz and receiving great response from promotions, Bhagyashree is confident this will be her first big hit.

Ram’s Crucial Comeback

Ram, who has been going through a rough patch with consecutive flops, is hoping Andhra King will bring him back into form. Both he and Bhagyashree see this film as an important milestone in their careers.

With Vivek–Mervin’s music turning into a hit and audience expectations rising, all eyes are now on Andhra King. Whether Ram and Bhagyashree can deliver the success they are hoping for will be known soon.

Allari Naresh on the Decline of Comedy Films

Share

Once upon a time, Allari Naresh used to release five to six films a year. Being a comedy star and working in low-budget projects made things easier—directors and producers would approach him nonstop, and most films brought in solid profits. But that era of full-length comedy films has faded, and Naresh himself has shifted his style over the years. He is now exploring new genres and taking up key roles in star-hero movies. Naturally, many fans have been wondering whether the “old Allari Naresh” will ever return.

But Naresh himself has clarified that it may not be possible anymore.

He revealed that comedy writers and directors have drastically reduced in recent years. “Everyone is now focusing on big films and serious storytelling. Many people look down on comedy these days, as if it’s not a worthy genre,” he said. According to him, only those who’ve worked in comedy truly understand how tough it is. “To make people laugh naturally is an art. It’s not easy at all.”

Naresh added that audiences today have become extremely sensitive. “We can’t crack jokes freely anymore. Even a simple joke can hurt someone’s sentiments. That fear always hangs over us,” he explained. Films like Seema Sastri and Kithakithalu may not even get made today, he said. “The era of counters and punchy comic lines is gone. Back then, people would erupt laughing. Now if we deliver a counter, people react blandly—mainly because social media has already exposed them to every kind of joke.”

According to him, modern comedy must come purely through the story, not from gimmicks. He confirmed that his next two films will follow this approach—story-driven comedy without outdated tropes.

Naresh also mentioned his desire to direct movies in the future. “Maybe after two or three years,” he said. But he is aware of the challenges: “As an actor, I can do two or three films a year. But as a director, it takes at least one and a half years to make a film. And once I direct a movie, people may think I will interfere in their scripts. That fear exists in the industry.” Because of these reasons, he says he is staying away from direction for now.

Nayanthara’s Unstoppable Stardom at 40+

Share

Lady Superstar Nayanthara made her acting debut in 2003 with the Malayalam film Manassinakkare. Although she began her journey in Malayalam, she quickly shifted her focus to Tamil cinema. With films like Ayya and Chandramukhi, she achieved instant stardom. After Ghajini, there was no looking back. While ruling Tamil cinema, she made her Telugu debut with Lakshmi.

It has now been nearly 20 years since Nayanthara entered Tollywood, and she recently turned 41. Generally, once actresses cross 40, offers reduce and audience interest often declines. But in Nayanthara’s case, nothing of that sort has happened. Her popularity and demand remain as strong as ever.

Over the last decade, fans often say that Nayanthara is in a “golden phase.” Whether she does women-centric films or pairs opposite top heroes, success continues to follow her. Even when a film doesn’t perform well, the impact never seems to fall on her image. That is precisely why she still holds the position of the No.1 actress in the South.

While many actresses who entered in the last 10 years—like Rakul Preet Singh or Pooja Hegde—rose to fame and faded out, Nayanthara remains consistently busy even after two decades and crossing 40. Moreover, she is very selective with her projects; every film she picks is either a big-budget venture or a high-profile project.

Her remuneration has become a hot topic in Tollywood. Compared to current top heroines like Rashmika Mandanna and Sreeleela, Nayanthara reportedly charges three to four times more. Recently, reports even claimed that she was offered ₹20 crore for a senior star hero’s film. While the exact truth is unclear, industry insiders agree that she is one of the very few actresses who can command such a massive paycheck.

In Bollywood, actresses’ remuneration has increased significantly in the last decade. But in the South, most leading heroines still earn around ₹2–3 crore. Yet, Nayanthara stands as the only South actress reported to be earning ₹10 crore or more, according to a national media outlet. Filmmakers are willing to pay her any amount because her presence alone elevates a film’s stature.

Currently, Nayanthara is starring alongside Chiranjeevi in Anil Ravipudi’s Man Shankara Varaprasad Garu. She has also been finalized as the lead actress in the upcoming Balakrishna–Gopichand Malineni film, where she will be seen in the role of a queen. Reports suggest she will receive one of the highest remunerations of her career for this movie.

Fans and industry members strongly believe that at 40+, Nayanthara is the only actress in Indian cinema who continues to enjoy such massive stardom, demand, and remuneration.

Karan Johar Opens Up on Loneliness

Share

Filmmaker Karan Johar recently opened up about the loneliness of singlehood and his search for love during his appearance on Sania Mirza’s chat show Serving It Up with Sania.

Karan shared that there was a phase in his life when he desperately longed for companionship and went through heartbreak as well as one-sided love. He also revealed that several people suggested he look for love abroad, but his responsibilities kept him rooted in India.

“Go where? I live here. I have a mom and two kids. I have to stay here,” he said.

Karan admitted that loneliness is still something he feels even today.
“You feel the loneliest during your highs, not your lows. Eating alone is another thing that reminds you of loneliness,” he added.

Through his candid conversation, Karan shed light on the emotional challenges behind the glamour, reminding many that success doesn’t always shield one from solitude.

Fatima Bosch Wins Miss Universe 2025 for Mexico

Share

Mexico is celebrating in a big way today—Fatima Bosch has been crowned Miss Universe 2025, triumphing over more than 100 contestants from around the world.

Thailand’s Praveenar Singh finished as the first runner-up, and last year’s winner, Denmark’s Victoria Kjær Theilvig, passed on the crown with a warm embrace. After five long years, Mexico has finally reclaimed the Miss Universe title.

Fatima’s journey is genuinely inspiring. Born and raised in Villahermosa, she grew up battling dyslexia, ADHD, and hyperactivity—a tough combination, but she turned every challenge into strength. She studied fashion design in Mexico City, refined her skills further in Milan, and today she’s known for creating innovative, sustainable designs using discarded materials.

Even before the grand finale, Fatima made headlines when a video emerged of a Miss Universe director shouting at her. The organisation acted swiftly and removed him from his position, earning massive support for Fatima.

On the final night, she stood calm and confident. Her answers about women’s struggles and the importance of staying authentic struck the right chord with both judges and viewers.

India had a moment of pride too—Manika Vishwakarma made it into the Top 12, though she was eliminated after the swimsuit round. Not the result many hoped for, but still a commendable performance.

Fatima Bosch’s win isn’t just a crown for Mexico—it’s a victory for resilience, creativity, and authenticity.

Raju Weds Rambai: Rural Drama with Flaws

Share

The team behind Raju Weds Rambai left no stone unturned in promoting the film despite the absence of star power. Director Saailu Kaampati even stirred controversy by promising to walk in nothing but his underwear if the film received negative reviews—a dramatic sign of his confidence. But does the film actually earn that level of belief?

Story

Set in a Telangana village during the era of united Andhra Pradesh, the film revolves around Raju (Akhil Uddemari), a small-time band performer, and his love interest Rambai (Tejaswi Rao), the daughter of a government clinic compounder.

When Rambai’s father fiercely opposes their relationship, the couple faces one hurdle after another. What unfolds and the unexpected twist that defines their fate form the central narrative.

Performances

Akhil Uddemari delivers a sincere performance with shades reminiscent of Sumanth Prabhas, while still bringing authenticity to his character.
Tejaswi Rao is natural and comes into full form during the emotional climax.

Chaitu Jonnalagadda impresses the most, effectively conveying both arrogance and inner vulnerability created by his disability.

Kavitha Srirangam, Shivaji Raja, Anita Chowdary, and the actor playing “Damber” all add believable support, with the latter offering some lighter moments.

Technical Aspects

The film’s modest production values are balanced with solid camerawork that captures the rural atmosphere effectively.
Suresh Bobbili’s music elevates the emotional scenes, though the soundtrack never overpowers the narrative.

On the downside, the editing lacks precision, especially in key emotional sequences, and the uneven screenplay contributes to pacing issues.

What Works

  • Strong, grounded performances
  • Emotionally solid climax
  • A few effective situational scenes

What Doesn’t

  • Uneven pacing
  • Familiar, overused story beats
  • Lengthy narration & dragging episodes

Analysis

Director Saailu Kaampati bases the film on real events he observed long ago. His aim to present a raw and rooted love story is evident, and for viewers unaware of the actual incidents, the climax twist does manage to surprise.

However, the journey leading to it is inconsistent.
The film begins with a typical rural setup—local humour, carefree youngsters, and relatable banter. Some early comedy tracks work well, especially those involving the hero’s excited friend.

But the narrative soon slips into a series of unevenly written scenes. The depiction of domestic violence, including scenes where the hero hits Rambai, feels uncomfortable and disrupts the tone. Similar discomfort arises from the abusive behaviour of Rambai’s father.

While the climactic message is strong—and has been seen in recent films like Dude—the lack of emotional intensity in the build-up weakens its overall impact. The protagonist’s characterisation also makes it a little difficult for the audience to stay empathetically connected.

Verdict

Raju Weds Rambai is a grounded rural drama built around a powerful twist, but the inconsistent narration and dragging portions prevent it from leaving a lasting impression. It has heart—but not enough polish.

Bottom Line: Good intention, strong climax, uneven execution.

Rakul Preet Shot Half of De De Pyaar De 2 While Injured

Share

A broken engine somehow still running—that’s how Rakul Preet Singh describes her experience shooting De De Pyaar De 2. After a strong run in Telugu cinema with films like Pandaga Chesko, Sarrainodu, and Dhruva, she shifted focus to Bollywood. But things didn’t unfold the way she hoped. A few projects, including Mere Husband Ki Biwi, failed to click, and the past couple of years were particularly tough for her.

Now, the tide seems to be turning. De De Pyaar De 2, the sequel to the 2019 hit, opened well and maintained stable collections through the week. Even by Day 7, the film had gathered around ₹51 crore nett. With the movie picking up buzz, Rakul’s recent interview about an injury during the shoot has gone viral.

For the first time, Rakul spoke about a serious spine injury she suffered midway through filming. She had completed half the shoot when the injury struck, leaving her bedridden for 40 days, unsure when she would even walk normally again. After a three-month break, she returned to the sets—still unable to sit.

“I actually shot half the film lying on a physio bed. You won’t even notice it on screen,” she revealed, leaving everyone stunned.

The most challenging moment? The much-talked-about highway scene. Recalling how they managed it, Rakul said, “My bed was literally on the highway. I’d be lying down, they’d set up the shot, I’d stand, perform, and lie down again.”

Today, as people praise her performance, they’re also recognising the sheer grit, pain, and patience behind it. Rakul didn’t just act—she pushed through physical limitations to deliver her best.

Sreeleela Stuns in Retro-Chic Polka Dot Look

Share

Sreeleela’s new look blends easy, old-school charm with a bold modern edge. She steps out in a matching polka-dot crop top and trousers—an outfit that feels both retro and perfectly in sync with today’s fashion vibes. Adding contrast, she layers a sleek black jacket with military-style buttons and sharp stitching. It cuts through the sweetness of the polka dots and adds a quiet confidence, giving the whole look a “cute but don’t underestimate me” attitude.

Her accessories bring the look to life. The colourful silk scarf around her neck pops brilliantly against the black-and-white base. Chunky, artsy earrings and a statement ring elevate the outfit without overwhelming it. Nothing feels excessive—just clean, stylish choices that show she’s enjoying the look rather than trying too hard.

Her makeup and hair keep things soft and seamless. With glowing skin, defined eyes, and a muted lip, the glam complements rather than competes with the outfit. The voluminous ponytail with gentle waves adds a relaxed yet polished finish, keeping the look camera-ready without losing its natural flair.

Across all the photos, Sreeleela moves effortlessly between playful and intense expressions. Stylish, comfortable, and completely in her element—this is Sreeleela at her chic best.

Krishna Allavaru: Rahul Gandhi’s Strategist Faces Backlash After Bihar Poll Loss

Share

Krishna Allavaru is the trusted lieutenant of Rahul Gandhi and was appointed as the Congress in-charge for the Bihar Assembly elections. Despite the high expectations, the party managed to win only 6 out of the 61 seats it contested, and the responsibility is being widely attributed to Krishna, who was reportedly given a free rein by Rahul Gandhi.

Not much is publicly known about this Telugu strategist. He keeps a very low profile and has a background working with top consultants like KPMG. He entered politics in 2010, leaving the corporate world behind, and has since risen through the ranks. Currently, he serves as Joint Secretary of the Congress, but the Bihar elections marked the first time he was entrusted with overseeing a State poll.

Krishna is also believed to be the brain behind Rahul Gandhi’s ‘Vote Chori’ yatra. Under his leadership, the Congress notably refused to compromise with the Lal Yadav family on seat-sharing — a first in the party’s history. Known for being hard-working and committed, he was appointed Bihar in-charge in February 2025.

However, critics argue that his lack of local knowledge and political experience may have contributed to the poor results. “He had absolutely no understanding of Bihar. How could he grasp the complexities of the State in just six months? He has never contested an election before and appointed candidates unsuitable for their constituencies,” said a Congress MP from Bihar.

Whether Rahul Gandhi will continue to support Krishna or hold him accountable for the Bihar debacle remains to be seen. Only time will tell.
