Jagan Don’t Care ‘One Day Protests ‘

Share

Controversial leader JC Diwakar Reddy has shocked his own party and backed AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in Pothireddypadu project. In fact JC took pot-shots at TDP leaders and wondered why they are doing one day fast.

“Amaravati farmers are on strike since 158 days. Did CM Jagan care about them? When he is least bothered about Amaravati, I don’t think, Jagan will consider even the one day protest of TDP leaders. Jagan did not care about the High Court and removed it from Amaravati,” said JC.

Adding, the former Anantapur MP said, “Probably, the half of Andhra’s population should sit on a protest at Jagan’s residence and then he might change his mind. With a huge majority, they are ruling the roost in the state. Even the cops are scared of Jagan.”

These confusing statements can only be made by JC Diwakar Reddy but he made it clear that water should be provided to Rayalaseema region through Pothireddypadu.

Upasana Wins Praises With Her Costume

Share

It is very tough to talk about a few things openly in Indian society because of our unique culture and traditions. This is making people keep silent on certain things which otherwise should be discussed openly.

The government is suggesting people to use condoms for safe sex and to prevent AIDS. Though our society is advancing in many aspects, and witnessing development, people are still hesitating to talk about condoms openly.

At this juncture, what if a lady appears in front of us wearing a skirt designed by condoms?

Megastar Chiranjeevi’s daughter-in-law, hero Ram Charan’s wife Upasana surprised everybody by doing it. She didn’t stop at it. We can understand how our society looks at condoms through her challenge.

As the Vice-president of Apollo, Upasana participates in several social welfare activities. She often shares innovative ideas through her social media handles.

This is one of her latest ideas. Upasana’s dress is simply unique. Her top is made by the textile scraps and rejects from local designers, the skirt is made from defective condoms.

By posting the pic she challenged the netizens, “Sustainable Fashion is the Future! Dare to wear Scrap?”

Forget about the others, one thing is evident. This picture is proof of Upasana’s courage. Needless to say, the photograph has gone viral on social media. Netizens are showering praises on her for her unique initiative.

Salutes to Upasana.

Mega Brothers With Gandhi, Godse and Che Guvera

Share

Mega brothers Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan are blessed with fan following. Their films run packed houses. There wouldn’t be any problem as long as they enjoy that. But they are not satisfied with what they have. They want something more.

They assumed that all the fans they have will show the same patronage as voters too. So they jumped into politics. But they don’t have basic abilities to see success there.

Chiranjeevi appeared like an aged Abhimanyu in the padmavyuham of politics during his PRP days. Pawan Kalyan is still like an LKG student trying to understand a PG class in politics. Nagababu is classic. He discovered the old Godse’s point of view after these many years and tweeted it as a freshly downloaded knowledge.

Any sane educated person knows about the explanation given by Godse after assassinating Gandhiji. Nagababu knows it now and shares it to the world as if no one knows about it so far.

Chiranjeevi used to respect Mother Teresa much before he stepped into politics. Later he has shown his immense respect for Gandhiji and got more popular with his Shankardada MBBS.

Nagababu on the contrary endorses Nathuram Godse suddenly. Pawan Kalyan got himself tagged to Che Guvera for sometime and later seen holding the book of Guntur Seshendra’s Adhunika Mahabharatam for many years but no one knows what he has learned from that. Right now he is busy retweeting BJP leaders’ tweets.

Some people are saying that this shows acute desperation of Nagababu and Pawan Kalyan to get close to BJP and RSS groups with their tweets. If that is true, then the entire Telugu world should go awestruck for their intelligence.

Any political party accepts the alliance of other party/ politician only with the power of vote bank but not by mere show of group feeling.

Pradeep Machiraju Dead Against for OTT

Share

Small budgeted films should not wait for theaters to reopen. Especially films like Pradeep Machiraju starrer “30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela” and Raj Tarun’s “Orey Bujjigaa” should emulate Bollywood and Kollywood and sell off rights to OTT platforms.

Since OTT giants are now offering a good price if the producers bypass the theatrical window and directly release them on their platforms, these small films should not hesitate.

However, Pradeep Machiraju is dead against this route. The reason he became a lead hero is to win the appreciation and applause from the general audiences.

Pradeep has a huge following as a Telly star. He is quite popular on the small screen as an anchor. “30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela” is the maiden film as a lead hero. To his luck, the film has generated great buzz with its songs.

He doesn’t want his first to go the digital way. He wants this to hit the screens.

“Neeli Neeli Aaaksam”, composed by Anup Rubens and sung by Sid Sriram, has garnered a whopping 113 million views on YouTube. This song has brought a huge craze around this film.

‘Private universities can help control brain drain’

Share

HYDERABAD: Private educationists, awaiting to set up universities in Telangana, are happy that the government acted amid the Covid-19 lockdown and took the ordinance route, not delaying the establishment of private universities in the State. They claim that private universities would help Telangana control the brain drain and also provide quality education at their doorstep, as many students from the State go to the USA and other developed countries to study and work.

Vishal Khurma, CEO of Woxsen University, one of the five private universities to have been established through the ordinance, said, “With private universities like Woxsen present in Telangana, students from the State will not have to go abroad in the hope of getting quality education.” He added, “We have a great campus spread over 200 acres right outside Hyderabad.

We are working towards providing quality education, which rests on three pillars — applied learning, academic excellence through world-class teachers and having a diversity of students on campus”. Labour, Employment and Women and Child Development Minister and Medchal MLA, Ch Malla Reddy, told Express that, “Since Telangana came into existence, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has had the ambition of making the State an education hub with world-class institutions.

If there are educational institutions that can provide education on par with the universities abroad, why would students from here leave the State and go there. It was with this aim of providing high quality education to students from the State that the Private Universities Act was passed”. Reddy is also the founder of the Malla Reddy Educational Society, which sponsors the Mallareddy University, one of the five private universities in the State.

Tamannah Opens Up On Rs 2.5 Cr Remuneration

Share

Tamannaah Bhatia says the remuneration an actress gets for working in a film is entirely her “prerogative to determine her financial worth”, adding that the choice to re-consider the remuneration also lies with her.

“Remunerations is entirely an actresses’ prerogative to determine her financial worth and the choice of re-consideration on the remuneration rests finally with her and nobody else,” Tamannaah said on the subject of what actresses are paid.

“We need to demolish these unbiased perceptions of an actress not deserving remunerations in higher brackets similar to an actor. Why is it that the same questions are never raised when it is pertaining to an actor? As an integral part of the film industry, actresses too, have worked very hard to reach where their destinations and every film needs a female lead just like a male lead to be successful. Why can’t a female actress enjoy the tag of being the highest paid or is it just a male entitlement? New decade, new mindset, new rules is the order of the day,” she added.

On the other hand, the actress also refuted reports claiming that she refused to essay the role of Ravi Teja’s love interest in director Trinadh Rao’s upcoming comedy drama, which is backed by People Media Factory. The report stated that she quoted Rs 2.5 crore to romance the star and producers backed out.

Talking about the speculative piece, the “Baahubali” star said: “I have an issue with speculative stories especially when it’s concerning my work which I consider as worship. I’ve never been the type to entertain any sort of grapevine during my career trajectory.”

“There is no truth to these fictitious stories of detrimental nature that are being planted constantly against me and seem to be a figment of someone’s imagination. The production house is still very much in touch with my management team and we are hoping to take a decision once life returns to some sort of normalcy. Unfortunately, all negotiations and discussions which started in February were kept on hold by the production house due to the outbreak of COVID-19. We are living in uncertain times and I don’t see any films going on floors till safety and health measures are fully in place. I am very professional in all my film dealings and the question of rejecting a film opposite Ravi Teja is out of the question given my cordial working relationship with him. I would like to do another 10 films with him given a chance,” she added.
