Pawan Kalyan is the person who always stands for the people in need. He always acts as the main opposition of the state by bringing several issues to the notice of the government that no one has any idea that these kinds of problems exist in our state. Once again Pawan Kalyan showed his worth for the AP people by appealing the problems of the Brahmin families who depend on priesthood in the state.

The Janasena Chief said that, since this lockdown begun many Purohits have been unable to make their living as they haven’t been allowed to perform rituals, ceremonies, house warming functions and their other duties in the temples.

The temples are closed and all rituals are being happened without the presence of the priest hood and their only source of income has taken for a toll. So, Pawan asked the AP government to aid each of them with Rs.5,000 as the Andhra Pradesh Brahmana Seva Sangh has asked for their monthly needs.

Pawan reminded the government that is the need of the hour and the immediate assistance is reasonable. It is very appreciable from the Janasenani who has become the voice of the needy people as he always does and especially in this crisis period, this appeal is a very commendable job. Megastar and other bigwigs to conduct meeting!

Share

We’re all aware that the Telangana government has given relaxation to a few business activities during Lockdown 4.0. Now, it looks like the Telugu Film Industry bigwigs are making plans to request the TG government to allow them for film shootings.

Going into the details, Megastar Chiranjeevi has taken an initiative of conducting a meeting with all the leading directors, producers, actors to chalk out strategies to resume shooting after lockdown.

The latest reports suggest that the meeting will take place on May 21st at Chiranjeevi’s office. The main agenda of the meeting is to bring back the economy of TFI by resuming shootings first and then reopening the movie theaters.

As the film shoots require a large number of people at one place, it’s impossible to resume shoot with limited cast & crew. So, now Chiru and other bigwigs of TFI will discuss the ideas on how to resume shoots with all the precautions such as physical distancing rules, hygiene on the sets, and other aspects.

It is also heard that the Telugu film industry bigwigs will meet Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to seek permission to resume shootings and the theater openings.

New revolution in Telangana against MODI?

Share

In his latest press meet, we have seen how the Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao bashing the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi by terming his 20lakh crore ‘Aatma Nirbhar Bharat’ as a bogus one. Now, it is very much understandable that the TRS took its time to criticize the BJP’s chief Modi with the most recent events.

Telangana IT Minister KTR said that 75 Shramik Rails have been organized by the Telangana Government so far to aid the migrant workers to reach their homes. The Minister added that Rs.6 crores was spent by the Telangana government for this task and also mentioned that not even a single rupee was charged from the migrant workers, and even the food and water were delivered for free.

Interestingly, KTR mentioned a point that the Center’s involvement in this task is ‘ZERO’. The IT Minister said that when they got the call from the Meghalaya Minister Sangma Karnad to send their state people who were locked in Telangana, swiftly they arranged a train to Meghalaya and the center hasn’t responded on this but the state government is the one who is all over the activity.

So, it is clear that starting with the ‘Self-reliable India’ package, the TRS has targeted the PM Modi who is being appeared as the Messiah of the Indians in this crisis period but the Telangana government is trying to show the harsh reality of the ground level.

Utilising the lockdown, Nani has been listening to different scripts and he has given green signal to a first timer.

Srikanth Odela who worked as an assistant director for Ram Charan’s Rangasthalam that was directed by Sukumar has reportedly readied a winning script and Nani is keen to start the project.

Modi and Amit shah got a new wonderful strategy over Andhra – TG!

There are a number of states and Chief Ministers in the country but KCR is different and not an ideal CM when compared to the others. He always had his own agenda, own predictions, and own decisions. From the imposition of the lockdown beforehand the Center to criticizing the 20lakh crore ‘Aatma Nirbhar Package’, the Telangana Chief Minister opted for the aggressive route.

Now, the BJP is not going to tolerate this behavior form the Telangana Government. They know the importance of two Telugu States in national politics and also quite aware that no one in two of these states cares about the local BJP parties. So, the ploy of Modi-Shah is to interfere in the present water-sharing controversy.

The recent G.O issued by the Jagan’s government in the pothireddypadu lift irrigation project has sent heat waves into the Telangana state. Currently, there were complaints and denials from both government and now at this crucial juncture, the Center is very much keen to interfere in the situation so that they can silence on CM and pacify the other.

Most likely the center may favor Jagan keeping in mind their recent relationship with KCR. If that is the case, the BJP can achieve two things at an instance. They can show KCR who is the boss and can make a good friend of Jagan Mohan Reddy who has grown very powerful these days.

Producers Requesting A Rent Waiver?

Share

One of the big problems for the producers of big-budgeted producers is, not only they have to wait for the lockdown to get lifted in order to resume shootings, but some of them are also paying rents to Studios for their sets. And here comes a decision by Bollywood producers regarding this.

In Mumbai, the Film City lands are actually controlled by the government. Currently, this studio is having sets built by the likes of Telugu makers of Thalaivi for a shoot with Kangana Ranaut as well as Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the film he is making with Alia Bhatt. For Thalavi, the makers have erected sets with 5 crores cost, while Alia’s Gangubai movie saw the building of a huge Kamathipura set worth 19 crores.

Now the Producers Association of Bollywood is said to have approached government for a rent waiver as they are not shooting in these sets from last two months and they could not be shooting for the next 3 months as well due to the arrival of monsoons. For that reason they want the government to completely waive the total rent as the makers need to put more money to repair the sets as well later.

HC To Monitor Mental Status Of Doctor!

Share

With the alleged ill-treatment of suspended anaesthetist Dr K Sudhakar, who behaved like a mad man in a drunken state on the Visakhapatnam roads, catching the attention of national media, the Andhra Pradesh high court intervened in the matter and decided to monitor his mental status.

On Wednesday, the state high court directed Visakhapatnam sessions judge to record the statement of Sudhakar, who had been admitted to mental hospital in Visakhapatnam for treatment for his acute psychosis disorder.

The session judge will obtain the statement of Sudhakar within the hospital to ascertain whether he was really a mental patient or a depressed man.

The high court asked the judge to submit Sudhakar’s statement by Thursday evening and posted the case to Friday for further hearing.

Videos of the alleged ill-treatment of Sudhakar by Visakhapatnam police by tying his hands behind his back, beating him and dragging him on the road went viral in the social media.

Sudhakar was also seen removing his shirt and abusing chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and the state government also hit the headlines. The police said he was taken into custody for creating nuisance.

Sudhakar, who worked at Narsipatnam government area hospital, was suspended for raising the issue of shortage of masks and PPE kits for doctors.

The Indian Medical Association has taken serious note of the treatment meted out to the anaesthetist and lodged its protest with chief minister YS Jagan.

While declaring that it does not accept the language used by Sudhakar against the CM and others, the IMA concluded that Sudhakar was put to mental stress by suspension for raising the issue of shortage of masks and PPE kits for doctors in view of the Corona threat.

NGT Stays Pothireddypadu Expansion Scheme

Share

In yet another legal hurdle to YSR Congress party government in Andhra Pradesh led by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, the National Green Tribunal on Wednesday stayed the proposed expansion of Pothireddypadu head regulator and Rayalaseema lift irrigation scheme on Krishna river on the foreshore of Srisailam reservoir.

Acting on a petition filed by a farmer Srinivas from Narayanpet, an NGT bench headed by Justice Ramakrishnan conducted a hearing on the proposed projects and stayed the same.

The green tribunal appointed a committee comprising senior officials from four departments to make an environmental impact assessment of Pothireddypadu head regulator expansion and Rayalaseema lift scheme.

The committee comprises officials from Environment Ministry and Pollution Control Board, senior faculty from Indian Institute of Technology-Hyderabad and senior member of the Krishna River Management Board.

The tribunal asked the committee to submit its report in the next two months. Till then, it ordered the Jagan government not to take up any works on the proposed projects and schemes.

The Telangana government already lodged a complaint with the KRMB over Jagan government’s plan to expand Pothireddypadu and construct Rayalaseema lift scheme thereby drawing an additional six to eight mc ft of water from Krishna river every day.

The total project cost is around Rs 6,800 crore.
