Rajamouli’s Global Adventure with Mahesh Babu Nears Title Reveal

Share

India’s top filmmaker SS Rajamouli is currently busy shooting his first-ever global action-adventure film, starring Mahesh Babu and Priyanka Chopra in the lead roles. The much-anticipated project, tentatively titled #SSMB29 or #GlobeTrotter, has already wrapped up a
couple of key shooting schedules across international locations.

During a recent video chat promoting Baahubali: The Epic, Rajamouli’s Baahubali star Prabhas playfully asked the director about the film’s release date. Rajamouli laughed it off, keeping the suspense alive. Prabhas described the project as “crazy” and “mental,” hinting at an epic cinematic experience, while admitting that even he was eager to know when it would release.

Adding to the fun, Rana Daggubati quipped, “Rajamouli will release the film only when he feels it’s perfect,” to which Rajamouli smilingly replied, “Anthe.”
As of now, the director has not confirmed a release date for this mega project. However, industry buzz suggests that a title teaser is expected next month, with “Varanasi” rumored to be the title currently under consideration.

With Rajamouli’s proven mastery of storytelling and Mahesh Babu’s massive global fan base, the film is already being touted as one of the most ambitious Indian productions ever made.

Trump Rules Out Kim Meeting on SK Visit

Share

U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday suggested that a meeting with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is unlikely to take place during his two-day visit to South Korea, despite recent speculation about a possible fourth summit between the two leaders.

Speaking at the start of summit talks with South Korean President Lee Jae Myung at the Gyeongju National Museum, Trump said the timing did not align.
“I know Kim Jong-un very well. We get along very well,” Trump said, according to Yonhap News Agency. “We really weren’t able to work out timing.”

Trump arrived in South Korea earlier in the day to attend Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) events and hold bilateral discussions with President Lee. His visit had sparked expectations that he might attempt to revive personal diplomacy with Kim, especially as he has recently expressed openness to resuming talks on North Korea’s nuclear program.

The two leaders previously held three historic meetings — in Singapore (2018), Hanoi (2019), and Panmunjom (2019) — aimed at negotiating denuclearization in exchange for U.S. sanctions relief. Talks ultimately stalled over disagreements on sequencing and verification.

Trump also referenced the unresolved status of the Korean War, which ended in 1953 with a ceasefire, not a peace treaty.
“I know you are officially at war, but we will see what we can do to get that all straightened out,” he said.

He added that future discussions with Pyongyang remain possible, saying, “We’ll have other visits, and we’ll work very hard with Kim Jong-un and with everybody on getting things straightened out.”

Meanwhile, North Korea has not publicly responded to recent diplomatic overtures. Just a day earlier, the North test-fired nuclear-capable cruise missiles, a move analysts say signals little interest in returning to negotiations at this stage.

Short Summary

Trump says no meeting with Kim Jong-un will take place during his South Korea visit, citing scheduling issues, though he maintains openness to future talks. The remarks come amid renewed interest in resuming diplomacy and North Korea’s recent missile tests.

Indian Schoolchildren Visit INS Sahyadri in Japan

In a gesture underscoring the growing cultural and strategic ties between India and Japan, a group of Japanese schoolchildren visited the Indian Naval Ship (INS) Sahyadri during its port call at Yokosuka. The visit offered the students an opportunity to learn about India’s maritime heritage and indigenous naval capabilities.

“During the port call at Yokosuka, schoolchildren visited Indian Navy’s indigenous stealth frigate INS Sahyadri, gaining valuable insights into India’s rich maritime heritage and cutting-edge indigenous capabilities,” the Indian Navy stated on X on Wednesday.

The port call follows the arrival of INS Sahyadri at Japan’s Sasebo on Tuesday, where it was welcomed by the Japan Maritime Self-Defence Force (JMSDF). The visit is part of the ongoing Japan-India Maritime Exercise, JAIMEX-25, aimed at enhancing interoperability and cooperation between the two navies.

Commanded by Captain Rajat Kumar, INS Sahyadri is a Shivalik-class Guided Missile Stealth Frigate commissioned in 2012. Built indigenously, the ship reflects India’s pursuit of self-reliance in defence under the ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ vision. Over the years, it has participated in a number of bilateral and multilateral exercises and operational deployments.

As part of the harbour phase of JAIMEX-25, personnel from the Indian Navy and JMSDF engaged in cross-deck visits, operational planning discussions, professional exchanges, and sharing of best practices. A joint yoga session was also conducted to promote cultural camaraderie.

During the visit, Captain Rajat Kumar met Rear Admiral Yamaguchi Nobohisa, Chief of Staff, Yokosuka District, JMSDF, as well as local dignitaries including Superintendent Kobayashi Hitoshi, Chief of Police, and Rear Admiral Kondo Shuji, Chief of Coast Guard, Yokosuka region. Discussions focused on strengthening maritime cooperation and enhancing operational synergy.

The ongoing engagements highlight the shared commitment of India and Japan toward maintaining peace, stability, and security in the Indo-Pacific region.

Sreeleela Shines at Mass Jathara Pre-Release Event

Sreeleela lit up the stage at the pre-release event of Mass Jathara, her upcoming film alongside Ravi Teja, with a speech that was equal parts heartfelt, confident, and full of charm. The young actress spoke about how the film marks another significant milestone in her career after the blockbuster Dhamaka.

Sharing insights about her role, Sreeleela said her character Tulasi will connect with everyone and also reveal her “mass side,” something she’s particularly proud of. She excitedly mentioned that her combination scenes with veteran actor Rajendra Prasad will be “super fun to watch,” and ended her speech by urging fans to catch Mass Jathara in theatres and make it a big success.

What truly won hearts, however, was Sreeleela’s infectious enthusiasm and graceful presence. Dressed in a velvet blue saree adorned with golden embroidery, paired with a strappy blouse, traditional jumkas, a tiny bindi, and flowing open hair, she looked stunning — her radiant smile and lively energy perfectly matching the festive mood of the evening.

With the film set to hit theatres this Friday, October 31, fans are eagerly waiting to see Sreeleela bring her mass charm and screen magic back to the big screen once again.

Rajamouli Reveals Cuts and Surprises in Baahubali: The Epic

Share

The mighty Baahubali saga is returning to the big screen — this time as “Baahubali: The Epic”, a remastered and re-edited version that seamlessly combines Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion. The film is set to release in theatres on October 31, with paid premieres in India on October 30 and overseas screenings beginning October 29.

Ahead of the release, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, and director SS Rajamouli came together for a candid chat, revisiting the memories and magic behind India’s most iconic cinematic franchise. During their conversation, Prabhas asked Rajamouli about the final runtime and the portions trimmed for this unified version.

Rajamouli revealed that while the two original films together ran for about five and a half hours, Baahubali: The Epic now stands at approximately 3 hours and 45 minutes. He explained that the love track between Sivudu and Avantika (Prabhas and Tamannaah) from The Beginning was largely removed. Additionally, songs like “Paccha Bottesina,” “Kanna Nidurinchara,” and “Manohari” have been edited out to maintain narrative flow.

Certain battle sequences were also tightened, but Rajamouli assured that the essence, emotions, and grandeur remain untouched.

“The highs are still there. Only a few sequences that didn’t contribute much to the story were trimmed,” he said.

Addressing fan curiosity about new scenes, Rajamouli clarified that there are no major additions, except for a small intercut scene during Sivudu’s entry into Mahishmati featuring Nassar and a soldier — a moment he believes fans will appreciate.

In a surprise reveal, Rajamouli also confirmed that the film’s interval block will include a sneak peek at the next chapter in the Baahubali universe — an animated feature titled Baahubali: The Eternal War. Directed by Ishan Shukla and produced by Shobu Yarlagadda, the animated film is being made on a ₹12 crore budget and is slated for release in 2027.

South Korea Honors Trump with Ancient Crown Replica and Top State Medal

Share

South Korean President Lee Jae Myung presented U.S. President Donald Trump with a replica of an ancient gold crown from the historic Silla Kingdom and awarded him the nation’s highest state decoration during Trump’s State Visit to South Korea on Tuesday.

The ceremonial exchange took place at the Gyeongju National Museum in the southeastern city of Gyeongju, the ancient capital of Silla (57 BC–AD 935). The crown is modeled after the famed Cheonmachong crown, a masterpiece of Korean artistry discovered in 1973.

“To new trust and companionship between Korea and the United States,” President Lee said through an interpreter as he presented the gift encased in glass. The gesture, described by officials as deeply symbolic, represents peace, leadership, and the connection between the earthly and the divine.

Deputy Foreign Minister for Protocol Affairs Kim Tae-jin explained that the crown reflects the spirit of the Silla Dynasty, which ushered in a period of unity and cultural flourishing on the Korean Peninsula.
“It symbolizes strong leadership and the authority of a sovereign guided by the heavens,” he said.

In a further honor, President Lee awarded Trump the Grand Order of Mugunghwa, South Korea’s highest national decoration. Trump is the first U.S. President to receive this distinction, granted in recognition of what Seoul described as his contribution to stability and peace efforts on the Korean Peninsula.

Wearing a golden tie to mark the ceremonial theme, Lee emphasized renewed diplomatic bonds, while Trump thanked the South Korean government, calling bilateral ties “very great” and adding that relations would “grow even stronger.”

Trump arrived earlier for a two-day State Visit to participate in the APEC summit and is scheduled to hold separate talks with President Lee and Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Ghattamaneni Family Emerging as Tollywood’s Next Mega Clan

Share

The Ghattamaneni family, headed by superstar Mahesh Babu, appears to be evolving into Telugu cinema’s next big “mega family.” With multiple generations of the legendary Krishna’s lineage stepping into the spotlight, the family’s cinematic legacy continues to expand.

Mahesh Babu remains the undisputed star of the clan — one of Tollywood’s most bankable and beloved heroes. His wife, former actress Namrata Shirodkar, though retired from acting, continues to play an influential role behind the scenes, shaping brand Mahesh and their family’s image.

Their son, Gautham Krishna, who first appeared as a child actor, is expected to make his full-fledged debut after finishing his studies, while daughter Sitara is already making waves as a dancer, model, and social media sensation.

Mahesh’s sister Manjula Ghattamaneni, known for her acting and production ventures, has her daughter Jaanvi now gearing up for her debut as a lead actress — with an official announcement likely soon.

The late Ramesh Babu, Mahesh’s brother, was also a hero in his time. Reports indicate that his children are preparing to enter the industry as well, with his son’s debut film rumored to be directed by Ajay Bhupathi.

Meanwhile, Mahesh’s nephew Ashok Galla is already carving a niche for himself as a lead actor, and his brother-in-law Sudheer Babu continues to impress audiences with a series of diverse roles. Adding to the excitement, there’s buzz that Sudheer’s sons might soon follow in their father’s footsteps.

With so many young talents preparing to step forward, the Ghattamaneni family seems poised to carry forward Krishna’s illustrious legacy — potentially becoming Tollywood’s next powerhouse dynasty.

Kavitha’s Political Makeover Draws Jayalalithaa Comparisons

Share

Telangana Jagruthi president Kalvakuntla Kavitha, daughter of former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, appears to be carving out a fresh political identity after parting ways with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).

Observers who have followed her political journey note that Kavitha’s recent public appearances — marked by traditional sarees, a bold bindi, and confident demeanor — have drawn notable comparisons to the late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa. They believe Kavitha is deliberately reshaping her public image as a strong, independent woman leader representing empowerment and regional pride.

Through her “Jagruthi Janam Baata Yatra,” Kavitha has been highlighting issues of women’s empowerment and political representation for Backward Classes (BCs), signaling a calculated effort to reposition herself within Telangana’s evolving political landscape. Analysts describe this as her use of “visual politics,” where appearance and symbolism are harnessed to create emotional resonance with women and grassroots voters.

“Jayalalithaa turned her distinct persona into a symbol of strength and resilience. Kavitha seems to be taking a similar approach to establish her mass appeal,” observed a political analyst.

While some interpret this as image reinvention, others view it as part of a broader social and political agenda. “She’s going beyond optics. By emphasizing BC and women’s empowerment, Kavitha appears to be building a new political base that extends beyond her father’s legacy,” analysts said.

Speculation is mounting that Kavitha could eventually launch a new political outfit, blending gender and caste empowerment narratives as the foundation of her comeback strategy.

However, experts caution that mere symbolic resemblance to Jayalalithaa may not guarantee widespread popularity. “To achieve genuine mass connect, Kavitha must directly engage with rural communities, address their problems, and deliver concrete solutions,” remarked a senior political commentator.

Still, few deny that Kavitha’s transformation has ignited renewed interest in her political journey. As one observer summed up, “Her evolving style and messaging unmistakably echo Jayalalithaa’s charisma — but whether it converts into real mass support will depend on how convincingly she balances image with substance.”

Jagan’s Delayed Return After Montha Cyclone Sparks Debate

Share

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who has been pressing for official recognition as the Leader of the Opposition, has finally returned to Andhra Pradesh after the Montha Cyclone subsided. His delayed return, however, has sparked mixed reactions among the public and political observers.

Jagan was initially expected to arrive in the state a few days earlier, with the YSR Congress Party even issuing a formal statement about his planned visit. However, the schedule was postponed due to the temporary shutdown of Gannavaram Airport following the cyclone’s impact.

Party leaders explained that the delay was purely due to safety and weather-related concerns. Still, some citizens and critics argued that as a prominent political leader, Jagan could have opted to travel by road to personally assess the cyclone’s aftermath and stand by the affected people.

Eventually, Jagan arrived at Gannavaram once flight operations resumed, choosing to return after conditions improved. In the meantime, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu was seen actively overseeing cyclone relief operations, coordinating with officials and ministers in real time.

This contrast — Naidu’s on-ground engagement versus Jagan’s cautious return — has become a key topic of discussion in political and public circles across Andhra Pradesh.
